Whoa...how did you get this? Was it one of the ones Eodguy149 was selling a little while back?
Nope, not from Eodguy419. They are extremely rare and I really doubt I will ever find another. Now I know I will never come close to the amount needed to purchase something like this, but I remember seeing MonkeyNuts having something like this and everyone was going crazy about it. I thought there was a general consensus that was reached, saying that MonkeyNuts probably had the only one (in decent condition) left, because news reporters probably misplaced it or really didn't care about it too much since they didn't really see/could predict the value of it later on down the road. Come on now...I can't let those guys 1 up me like that. I think there were something like 12 of them made and most were used. My guess is there are maybe 4-5 out there that have not been peeled and we know where 3 of them are. Yup, we know Eodguy149, Monkeynuts, and you each have one. You mention peeled. I was under the impression these didnt have any private key, thus no reason to peel.

Great! They will not be cheap though because there will only be 10!
We will make them as cheap as possible but its not looking likely to be below 300 usd plus what ever crypto we end up loading on them.
So now there are 10 made vs 20? Even if the price ends up higher, I'm still in.

In your opinion does the coin look cleaned? It would be strange that Mike forgot to print the last digit. To me it looks like part of the last number 2 is missing its right side. So I think something smeared off the ink. If it was cleaned, how does that affect grading? Would ANACS penalize it and maybe give it some remark on the slab like "Cleaned", "Altered", etc?

Include me in the PM list too. This coin looks great.

Public Service Announcement:
It appears like the Tesla and Shakespeare coins are now available for pre-order on their website (or have been and I wasn't aware). I was in the middle of reviewing elianite's encyclopedia last night when I got to the Infinitum section, and I went to their website to confirm some specs.
Last night I ordered the #001 for Shakespeare and #002 for Tesla. I did receive email confirmations today.
Today it seems like #1-10 for each are sold, but the other numbers are avail. I asked the OP to mention it on the boards, but it looks like they didnt, so I decided to let the community know.
In prior releases, they sent out emails, so I cant confirm if these were meant for the public to purchase yet.

gravitate...is there some way to differentiate the coin between this and any further editions? Part of the reason I wanted the coin was that it was a limited edition of 10 or 20...versus being open ended in future weeks. I am more of a collector, rather than just buying the coin as a lottery ticket. Maybe use different generic holos each release?
And, sorry if this was answered earlier, but is this a Microsoul .01 Brass with a generic holo sticker vs a Microsoul branded one?

With that low of a grade I would have offered 26BTC for it, but the over funding pretty much takes that off of the table for me. I think your best bet here is to peel the coin and sell it.
Agreed. It doesnt have much collectible value being overfunded and a low ANACS grade. I'd say its worth the value of the total loaded bitcoin and a peeled 25 BTC.

I'll offer $2500 for a redeemed bar only. If it makes any difference, I can fly out to meet the seller if based in the US.

Are these a Microsoul .01 Brass with a generic holo? Either way, I'll take one.
Any news about the lunar or Philosopher coins?

Got to meet with Technomage today at the conference. I picked up some loaded coins and we chatted a bit.
That is awesome, wish I could have gone! Were the speaker sessions recorded and will they be posted online? I did see someone recording all sessions, so I imagine they will be posted to youtube. Seemed like less notable people showed this year in Miami. The only people that I knew of before were Bruce Fenton of the Bitcoin Foundation and Patrick Byrne, the CEO of Overstock. Tomorrow has Jason King of Sean's Outpost. It seemed like most panels were about Blockchains as opposed to pure Bitcoin, as well as the 2MB Block issue. I sat through every panel.

I appreciate the time and effort you've made to make these the best they can.
Yup... both bhcoins (3rd edition 2FA) and gravitate recently have had issues with gold plating.

Do you have a back photo of this? OP updated

Very nice BG4. I would love for another special edition of UV hand-inked Artist Proofs again for this set. Those were really special.

I would like to announce that team Denarium will be present at BTC Miami conference and buying coins is possible face to face in Miami from Wednesday evening to Sunday evening.
I'll see you there. I'm going to the conference both Thurs and Fri.

Very nice, it looks like they did a spectacular job with the plating this time around. Unfortunately, I don't share your enthusiasm. I think the plating on the front looks messy in many places. The back looks neat. How do you feel about the plating Og?

Hm, so if there is no VAT going to the US, wouldn't it make sense to do a US group buy and an EU group buy separately? This seems like it would benefit the US participants in this group buy, myself included, if shipped straight to the US, while not changing much regarding the EU participants (who will get hit with VAT no matter what).
I know the shipping is more expensive to the US, but a 24% VAT if shipped to the EU would tack on about 24 EUR to each coin. For one coin they wanted nearly 50 EUR just for shipping to the US, IIRC, but if 10 or 15 coins were shipped, they'd be sending it all in one package, and I wouldn't imagine it would cost more than 80 EUR (I don't know this, we'd have to find that out). If that's the case, then 10 coins (as an example) shipped to the US would be around 8 EUR each, plus the domestic shipping from the "trusted 3rd party."
If they were to ship to an EU middle-man, every US buyer would get hit with 24 EUR VAT plus international shipping.
If this is accurate, I would agree. I have no interest in paying VAT if I don't have to in the US. I didn't order loaded coins either which require a EU 3rd party.

How many of you are interested in buying assembled coins? We are considering assembling the last 100 coins of this series but we'd need a new hologram to differentiate the assembled coins to the DIY coins. We were thinking of going with the same hologram in silver but this would cause us to have to charge quite a bit more for the coin... We're open to suggestions though I would be interested if the hologram was different as you described
