801  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin on its way to $20,000? on: May 09, 2019, 08:47:01 AM
With the massive price surge over the last month or so, how long do you guys think we need to wait for BTC to get to 20K? Realistically speaking...

These guys touch some nice topics that must happen if we want to get to see BTC at $40,000:

https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/bitcoin-the-path-from-4000-to-40000/

When price experienced a sudden pump = We are now heading to new ATH
Then on the way, price suddenly drops bit or hard = No another ATH this year

See how people create their speculation? There are lots of professional analysis that destroyed during the 2018.

In other words, even big people will talk about what will happen on every trend, it's still no assurance nor increasing the chances of happening.

Just take advantage of the current happenings. Reaching $20,000 again is way long to go and too early to speculate. Better set your expectations first on reaching $7,000 , $9,000 , $10,000 etc.
Explain that to everyone! With every swing people are falling in some kind of fever and we are seeing so many flammable topics. If its go down we see panic like its going to zero, if its going up we will see new ath. People can speculate as much as they want, whats happening actually all the time, but that will not change anything. Point is if you believe that price will be $20k in some moment get into right now, what are you waiting for?! If you believe that price will drop than wait before you buy, we are making our destiny, not others.
802  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with small budget on: May 09, 2019, 07:01:15 AM
Hello all,

I have a question:
Is there anyway or any where on some exchange a way to trade BTC/USD with 1 dollar per 1 dollar move with total fee less than 1 dollar?

Thanks

Is there an exchanger that receives a deposit of only $ 1?
I think it's very difficult to do. It's best if you can increase the capital you have to trade.
yes, each market has a minimum value for making a deposit. well, we might be able to do this. many people trade with minimal funds, sometimes they do it for trial and error. it has a small risk, but of course the results are also not that big. it's just that it's suitable for people who are looking for experience.
Every exchange has trading fees and withdrawing fees, many times they are more than a dollar. When I saw small budget in the headline I didnt think its small budget. What you can do with 1 dollar in the real world? Maybe to buy some chocolate bar? This is funny topic, to trade with $1? You cant do nothing with 1$ anywhere, op should find a way to increase his funds and than to start trading.
803  Economy / Speculation / Re: No bull market for 2019 on: May 08, 2019, 11:06:45 AM
Looking at the present market price momentum we may expect the prices to touch 10000 dollars by next month every month btc price increasing to 25 percent growth in 2019 this is indication of bull market
Price is almost doubled since the beginning of this year, what you are saying that price will be tripled until the half of this year. To me that sounds like a "hard to happen" prediction, normally not impossible, with bitcoin price anything can happen in very short period.
Lets wait to break $6k barrier, which can happen or not, if we break it I think we will go more higher, if price stops around here maybe we will see some little down trend and price dropping. Its up for weeks, my logic tells me to be careful now.
804  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it a good idea to buy some bitcoin now? on: May 08, 2019, 07:06:21 AM
Its never too late !    However we have to consider time frames mostly for how much in scale to your various asset allocations.   If you do all that its still sensible and actually very profitable to buy into a rising trend.    Doing that is really the best thing if you think about it, you want to be part of a sucessfull product in general and not wanting to buy because it keeps going up ? thats very ironic and means you miss on good strong trends.

However, the shorter term time frames could be negative but overall I dont think BTC is especially expensive longer term but I also think alot of work must occur in 2019 price wise and its not all easy
I agree. owning bitcoin at this time is something that is more beneficial for those who use it. however bitcoin will continue to grow and become better. even though there are so many people who want to drop the price of bitcoin at this time, I'm sure this year can be a good year for bitcoin.
And when we are about good timing maybe its good to buy it now before price goes higher, last couple weeks we are seeing nice uptrend, we are very close to $6k, I think we are talking about days here. If bitcoins succeed to break $6k barrier we will see $7k very soon. Now its the time when you are getting in before price rise too much, later will not be late, but for sure who comes in later will have higher prices and with same amount of dollars less amount of bitcoin can be bought.
805  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bad "good" news. on: May 08, 2019, 04:21:23 AM
Friends, the news background on the crypto market has been very active lately, and in a rather positive way, but not every good news is true. How does this affect your investments and strategy on the market? How to protect against fakes?
Against fake news you can do only one thing, check, recheck, recheck again. Don`t run to make some trades in some exchange just cause you saw some "news", whether they are good or bad, like to buy something and make very high profit, or to sell in panic. Don`t act right away, check that new information on several places, ask here on forum, post it on some social network and wait for some answers.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardcap ICO is no guarantee that the project will succeed on: May 07, 2019, 06:01:05 PM
ICO is not a guarantee that the project will be successful, because most ICO projects are still limited to concepts and do not have clear references,
but projects that don't make ICO or premine are usually serious and good projects.
and I also agree on this, what about your opinion?
I agree thats not a guarantee, but it will make things easier for the team to invest in technology, equipment, to pay for advertising, or what ever, point is that with money everything is easier. My opinion are facts of the past, bitcoin didnt have fund raising, but look where it is, some projects have more than million dollars investments and yet they didnt show a lot for that money. There are no guarantees in crypto apparently, take everything with suspicion, ask question, think twice before you invest, be careful and you will be fine.
807  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you have to buy cryptocurrency for 10.000USD today.... on: May 07, 2019, 04:46:36 PM
It all depends on your risk tolerance.  I like to gamble on lower tier coins every now and then but I only use a small amount of money.  looking back at the historical charts you an see how fast some of these coins can move.  They can go 100x in a few days which is pretty crazy.
I agree with you man, its all about how much risk can someone handle. With $10k I would buy some bitcoins, I wouldnt miss opportunity to buy iota too (thats from op choices, btc or iota), and some other good coins too. When you look it from other side it would be more risky to invest in just one coin, in some way you are lowering the risk if you invest in more than one coin.
I`m sure that I would diversify, I would split that $10k on more places, on more coins, probably between 3-10 nice investments, in some more in some less.
808  Economy / Economics / Re: Any ideas of what we lack in crypto world? on: May 07, 2019, 02:11:41 PM
Lack of knowledge is the main reason we have only a few peoples in the crypto world. People fail to understand the true potential of crypto currencies that's why they fail to believe. This one of the reasons people don't like cryptocurrency related things. We have to teach people what is crypto currency, its benefit, its true potential. They are not going to know about crypto currency in their dreams we are the one who has to make the change.
Honestly the current numbers of people who knew or have knowledge about cryptos is very few compared to the overall populace, rigorous enlighment had to intensifies to bring more people to cryptos, there are alot of potential investors who haven't any idea about cryptos if the bridge or gap between non users and users is close it's going to ensure growth into the crypts world.
Lack of knowledge is what keeps people in dark even in 21 century. What people fail to understand is that world is making progress whether they like it or not, future doesnt wait for anyone! Crypto is an idea that isn`t fully explored yet, we need to give it a chance before we move to next big ideas. Many people still dont knows nothing about crypto, institutions are not using crypto, some governments still not aware of crypto, but for me that will be different in few years, we are on the good direction.
809  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gaining quick profits or keep holding? on: May 06, 2019, 03:36:35 PM
I always say do both, make some quick profit, always have something on a side, it`s not like you need to run 10 km more or you need to unload some huge truck, it`s click here and there and you have two strong positions. It`s always better to have more strong positions, and when you are risking you do it from one position, not all of them. Learn and upgrade your skills and positions, as time passing you will know how to play in long run but still have fun in short.
810  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Intraday vs HODL on: May 06, 2019, 10:29:23 AM
There isn`t intraday (first time I hear that word in crypto) vs hodling, you need to do both if you wish to be successful in the long term! You can`t intraday with all your money, thats to risky for everyone, you cant hodl all the time, you need to spend some from time to time.
There isnt one thing in crypto thats the best, there are so many things that should and can be done with just one lap top, if you have more monitors, more computers you can do more. There isn`t ethereum vs bitcoin, trading vs holding, dicks vs pussy, in the end you need to know and do almost everything.
811  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another uptrend has shaped up trying to break $5600 again on: May 06, 2019, 07:30:29 AM
UPDATE:
...

I'd rather be willing to bet the opposite; it's only a matter of days before this rise (which nobody has been able to explain yet) stops, the market's enthusiasm will also calm down very quickly. Remember that the Bitfinex's drama didn't really start yet, there is currently no judgment, or I don't know what.

When you check the average volume for the last 24h we have near the same level as back on Dec 17 - Jan 18. I suppose it means we have the same "excitement" when the ATH was here. Which is a good signal... but where the fuck is the ATH ? Grin
ATH is waiting for us somewhere in the future, for couple years, more or less. I think too that people are too excited with this rise, we need to wait and see what will happen with tether case. Some thinks that that situation can have big effects on crypto, some disagree, I think its best to wait and see.
What push bitcoin price now is probably some big buy orders, I saw some news about new miners released, maybe people are buying bitcoins to buy miners.

813  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How is a day of a crypto trader? on: May 04, 2019, 08:52:04 AM
Hello everyone,
I'm new to the crypto world and have been trading for 2 weeks. I have a job in Marketing and trading is a way for me to earn extra money. I often focus on trading after work because I am quite busy at my office.
I'm very curious about how's your day going? anyone here is a full-time trader? When do you start trading? Do you look at the screen and read all the time? And if it's not too private, can you estimate how many percentages of profit you earn a day? ...

Welcome. If you will be a good trader you need you need to be informative and good knowledge about market situation and fundamental analysis ans well as technical analysis. So before start trading you need to know about those.
Thank You.
So you need knowledge, you need informations, you need to do some analyses , you need bankroll, what you do from all that when you get up in the morning? I check prices every morning, to see new changes, I look all coins, I`m interested in general stuff, but I notice are some of mine are up or down. While I still drink coffee I check twitter, its a good place to start, many people share a lot of things, there are very smart people, if you know whom to follow you can read some quality stuff.
I cant miss forum and whats happening here. Trough the day I hang out on couple exchanges, I gamble a bit, I always see some new opportunity for investment, something new thats happening, crypto is source of incredible things.
814  Economy / Economics / Re: Should there be a tax on capital gains? on: May 04, 2019, 07:04:22 AM
Capital gains tax is a stupid idea and it is equivalent to double taxation. The government is extracting tax on the income that has already undergone taxation. Also, if capital gains are taxable, why the government is not reimbursing capital losses? It should go both ways, right? Here the investor is taking the risk and in case he gains from it, he has to pay the taxes as well. On the other hand, if he losses his money, then the government says that it's his fault and he should bear the losses. It's very unfair.
Great comment, its same what I thought. I read and I cant believe how right you are!
"if capital gains are taxable, why the government is not reimbursing capital losses?"
Simple as that, when we risk we risk our own money, if we lose nothing happened, if we make profit we share it with government, what a stupidity. You wrote such logical comment about capital gains, and this is why most of the people around the world will not report their crypto assets, people will try to avoid paying taxes on crypto, at least smart ones I presume. I live in the third world country, in my opinion, here in Serbia we dont have any laws about crypto yet, what suits me for now, but when they make see they are preparing some set of laws for crypto I`m going off the grid.
815  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: May 03, 2019, 04:47:29 PM
because bitcoin prices dropped as a result no new rich people arrived suddenly. . . on the contrary, many people go bankrupt because they suffer losses ... haha haahaa

funny that you made this comment and after 2 days the price increased to  $5800. about your comment, all people when they decide to buy cryptos should be aware that the price may drop a lot. This should not be a surprise to anyone. just think:

If something goes up from $ 1000 to $ 20,000 in a year, then that same thing can drop from $20,000 to $1000 in a year.

Funny topic generally, so funny that its not even trolling, its comedy. If price was $0 and after sometime price goes to $1,000 who ever picked it up when it was 0 is a rich man, as price goes higher, person gets richer. I think some of this newbies are just eager to be rich, price is not doing them a favor and they flame everywhere around. Its not the first time, for sure its not the last.
816  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading bitcoin on: May 02, 2019, 05:46:31 AM
as a newbie, i don't know where to buy bitcoin and trade it from, i hope you can help me  Smiley
We have so many exchanges where you can purchase bitcoin from, though it is best to make your purchase from a popular one, though most exchanges don't have fiat payment included in them, so my advise for you is to make use of a peer to peer exchange in your country that allows direct funding via atm card, then make purchase of as many bitcoin as you want and then send this coin to an exchange so you can begin trading for other coins.
You see that he is trolling when headline is about trading and in thread he asks where to buy bitcoin? How he plans to trade if he doesnt even know where to buy bitcoins? First there are so many places now where anyone can buy bitcoins, difference is in the fee, someone can take you up to 10%, which is not small if you plan to buy a bit more bitcoins.

If you are really interested in trading Bitcoin, you just need to know how it works and learn about the market conditions. Then go to a peer to peer exchange or local exchange to buy Bitcoin. If you want to trade Bitcoin with altcoins, Binance is one of the best platforms for cryptocurrency trading. Always keep watch of this board where you can get useful information on trading and its possibilities.
He is not interested to check where to buy bitcoins, how he can be interested in anything else? With this smiley in the end of his topic shows it all. When you are really interested in something you show that, you provide more informations, you done some kind of research before asking anything. He is fooling around, nothing more.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 alternative coins to invest now for 2020 on: May 02, 2019, 04:46:09 AM
Vechain, digibyte, tron, nem, iota, cardano, steem, 0x are some of the good coins, with good rank and their prices are under a dollar. To be honest I don`t know what can we really expect to happen with this coins in next few years but I`m hoping that they will break $1 barrier and some of them will come to $10. My picks for coins under $1 dollar, choose good and join me in this supporting this coins, good luck my friends.
818  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret it not selling at peaked on last jan 2018 ? on: May 01, 2019, 03:25:12 PM
There is no time for regret in crypto, sooner you figure that out, sooner you will start making some profit. There to many coins right now, prices are changing all the time, you can catch them all, you cant regret cause you missed right moment to sell high and buy low after that.
You will miss good opportunities here and there, that shouldnt demotivate anyone. Its something thats happen, and it will happen again and again, it a life cycle, you learn from them and you learn how to catch cycles as you try over and over again.
819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please be careful with traders who.... on: May 01, 2019, 10:17:26 AM
"Please be careful with traders who run private groups, do phone consultations, and sell courses.

Most successful traders are too busy trading, they don't have time to teach.

It would be a distraction."

Saw this tweet just now.

Worth to share to those trading newbies who wants to rely on paid advisors.

Will not go deeper. Hope you got the picture.

(P.S. Credits goes to @BTC_M****. Decided not share the source link as I don't want to promote his Twitter account as owner's other tweets might influence newbies perspectives. But it's quiet easy to search.)

That may be true, but I would say not entirely. Although it is true that to be a successful trader one has to really look at the market really closely and be in it almost all the time to see the changes that trends that are happening. However, despite that fact, there are some people who,  by their characters, are good and want to help those who needs an extra push whether it be coaching, knowledge or whatever it is they need to become successful. I mean, it's always a feel good situation to help someone and see them succeed. Although this market is as competitive as one can get, there are still some good people out there who are willing to impart their knowledge because if more and more people would succeed, it would surely affect the market in its entirety on a positive note.
Traders who run private groups are usually the ones behind pump and dump schemes. I don`t think that traders are busy all the time, one of the good sides of being trader is that you can do more things on computer
while you trade, why would be hard for some trader to be active on social network or to give tips here and there.
What really is pain in the ass is that every trade is risky, nothing is 100% sure. When someone gives a tip and that doesnt pass people get nervous and start attacking, I think this is the main reason why some successful traders dont wish to give tips. They handle their wins and loses, why would they want to be someones target cause one bad trade?
820  Economy / Economics / Re: There's nothing more happier than seeing your bitcoin price going up! on: May 01, 2019, 05:36:52 AM
But there is also nothing worse than waking up to a huge red candle  Embarrassed
Just in the beginning, after a while you dont get hurt by that. But when its green, excitement is everywhere. Its not case just with bitcoin, now I have hope in many other coins too, I wait new big rise like it was in 2017, it will happen eventually and that green will be the longest and best green we have ever seen, its how I imagine the end 2020 and beginning of the 2021. Its very near even, every day closer for a step.
