Not forum moderator any member of the forum can give merits to other user for the post he likes or consider useful.For every two merits you earn on the forum you get one smerit which you can give it to others or in other words you have can send half of the merits you have received.For example if you earn 10 merits you earn 5 smerits which you can send to others. For more information about merits read this thread Please help me now or when the time comes
You have to make effective contributions to the forum like make quality posts or take part in healthy discussions over here and if anybody likes your post or thread and consider it merit worthy you will automatically get it but this way asking for help won't be beneficial instead learn and gain knowledge about bitcoin with time. |

It's good approach to tackle all those spammers who are trying different ways to plagiarise just to earn few merits and can't have their original ideas to be contributed on the forum.I see there are certain things which heps to distinguish between human writing and AI based text generator as there could be some sentences mixup but with ChatGPT the accuracy rate is high which is why it's becoming more popular and used by many at this time.But such things will help atleast some members here to report if they found someone is using these softwares to write their posts and help reduce plagiarism. Along with it these posts should also be reported in this thread also so that for violating the forum rules they should get account banned also. I don't know exactly if the AI posts in question can be recognized as easily as someone catches plagiarism, but there should be a tool that helps users to reveal the AI posts. While I haven't got the tool yet, but maybe someone there knows about it.

Few posts back @OP has added another rule to specify the Round for which you are submitting your post say you are submitting it second or third time you have to add subsequent round number to make clarifications on the matter.As the rule is every two weeks so those who are doing it regularly are in sixth round of post submission for merits. The campaign should be in its 12th two-week edition and not everyone is using the round countdown, so technically any committed user that hasn't missed out on submitting their review could be in round 12  I would not call it a campaign as it's genuine help from @fillippone to help share merits with deserving members so they can reach next rank but technically it's Round 6 for all as we can't ignore the two weeks rule for post submission and not any member has mentioned Round 12 in his submission. |

This competition has long time to go and everyone can join it in coming days. I am really positively that Bitcoin will climb to about $30,000 in the end of February. I have yet bet but it is my thinking and my prediction.
Very optimistic prediction. I don't think it will reach 30 grand before this month ends though due to small corrections here and there. I feel that it will reach 26 grand before this month ends in a slow and steady manner. It could also sink below the 20 grand mark if there is some extremely negative news which I hope won't happen. I am also optimistic about it's growth but the price pumps at this time are not too high that can take it to $30k range so it's also high within this month for me although we can play and make prediction in the close Circle that have more chances to be on that winning box but we all know bitcoin can have surprises for you. |

It's been exactly 1 year since this thread was created. At the moment, the contribution to the fight against low-quality posts has stopped at around 130,000 reports.
Lately it's hard to find free time for this type of activity, but maybe this year I will be able to take a new peak. Now reporting on the forum is going through hard times. Very low activity of reporters.
Still you have contributed much to the forum in reducing spam posting and your 130k reports is also a big number and motivation for all those who are submitting reports to the moderator.We all have some IRL work also which makes us little busy but taking your words and knowing your capabilities I know other record is on the verge here. After looking on the amount time contributed to the forum, fighting shit posters and scammers, I am surprised you are not one of the moderators. Forum stuff should consider giving you more forum power, otherwise time isnt spent wise, as you are a middleman between shit post and moderator. You should be able to personally clean that garbage, instead of passing broom to mods. But only in case you want such a privilege yourself.
I think the main part is helping forum to reduce the spam in any way possible and if you see his reports have high accuracy and action is taken on most of them so he is helping a lot through this way also but if we say adding him as moderator then it's good option but till that time he is doing great job and it should be appreciated.I don't think his time is being wasted with it as moderator takes action also considering his report so his contributions are duly noted.We all know there are lot of things pending on forum which @theymos has to do so leave it to him while @Ratimov hits say 200k reports. |
