821  Economy / Economics / Re: If the global economy collapses what's the first thing you do? on: September 14, 2023, 09:53:44 AM
Honestly if you have BTC congrats !!! We are heading  into a major economic shift and I feel like when the tides are turning like this there should be a conscious effort to land on the right side of that shift!!! Am I right? What should bitcoiners be doing right now to prepare for a potential global economic hardship other than the obvious which is to hodl and accumulate as much as you can...

Diversifying should be what they should be doing, if you have already bought a significant amount of Bitcoin and you're looking for other options then diversifying into real estate should be the next step. This advise mightn't be for everyone that read this comment but for those from my continent (Africa). If an economy collapse happens lands will be the only investment that can be certain to regain its value over time. Land are everlasting investment as they can't be lost unless you forgot where you bought them or the government takes it from you but still you'll be compensation veey well. Excluding bitcoin and land (Real estate), I don't see any investment that can save you in times of economy collapse.

In an event of economy collapse the first thing I'll do is to hold some cash, I'll sell some of my investment by converting them to cash and that's not because I believe in cash but because during this times things becomes difficult and a majority of our investment will lose value so to prevent we not selling them in losses, it's better we sell when they're still in profits and hold some cash that can take used through some period of the economy collapse while we look for others options.
822  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help and encourage newbies to grow. on: September 14, 2023, 08:59:52 AM
There is say that if you want to go fast follow the foot steps of successful people, this is also implies in the forum. To be successful in forum look to those in higher ranks that is when you will progress. The higher rank members did what is takes to achieve it to that position you found than now, if you follow their foot steps the sky will be you limit. The best thing is that stop looking at their various rank just focus on how to get there, but still dey should not be in rush to get there.

While they do that, they shouldn't plagiarized their posts or they'll end up losing access to the privileges of the forum. Looking at how quality higher ranked users are writing, is a good way to build yourself but also you have to be unique in your own way. Don't just copy everything they do, take the good things and work on improving them. When you add your own style and spices you get a pattern for yourself. One good thing to work on as a newbie is your writing style. The way you write also helps to communicate the thoughts you're writing. Some newbies ignore the use of punctuation marks and spacing (paragraphs) in their posts and this messes up everything they were saying in their replies.

Not taking the forum too seriously is something you can’t have many individuals do. It’s hard for users who have built their life around the forum not to take it seriously. It almost feels like there life, there second life and somewhere they can express themselves as well as find solution to solve some of their life’s problems.

Probably what he's trying to say is that we shouldn't get too emotional invested into the forum, what will happens tomorrow if the forum is no more. The forum is just another social community on the internet and all you're needed to do is to follow the rules that the forum has provided for her users to adhere to and you'll be in good hands. Communicate on the forum like you'll do on other platforms and don't put pressure on yourself. If your post are of quality, there's every tendency that it'll be merited. It doesn't matter if it happens now or takes longer but make sure you're enjoying the forum while you're making use of it. Some people take the forum too seriously that you begin to think if they don't have a life outside the forum. He's just trying to advice newbies not to be like those set of people.
823  Economy / Economics / Re: Building wealth it's not just one time Luck on: September 14, 2023, 08:22:34 AM
This is just imagination, because what someone used and build its is not applicable to what another person will use and its own wealth, we have to understand one thing in building of wealth, because their is every tendency that what you invested on and be prosper I can't invest there and get propagated in the investment,

On the contrary, wealth isn't something you get from been lucky and that's when your statement is applicable because what someone did and got lucky at like gambling is unlikely to be replicated by another person but when it comes to wealth, several people can make use of the same strategy and come out successful. Mark Zuckerberg used Facebook (social media) to build his empire and other entrepreneurs have done the same thing and became successful. Bill gate uses Microsoft (tech industry) to build his wealth and other entrepreneurs has done something similar and also built generational wealth. A strategy used for building wealth can be replicated by many people and they'll be successful that's why building wealth can't be a one time luck.

Chasing of so many things to gain money can be distractions of not getting reasonable achievements of anything.  The best thing is to be focused on one and bring out the best from it , this is the best way of making money. Billionaires I have seen, they focused on one project and make sure it becomes very successful, they didn't chase different things to make money to become Billionaires . They had target of achieving things one after the other.

Elon musk has many companies, He has Telsa (the car brand), Space X (space exploration), Twitter (now X which is social media), he has a perfume company as well and probably others that we haven't heard of or he's secretly invested in. Billionaire don't focus only on one investment or business, they would have one that they're known for and is probably giving them the biggest profits and publicity but they always have other business because they understand the power of diversifying. A hustler doesn't have one business he's doing as he always has multiple streams of income and that's how they make their wealth. Others are fortunate to have only one business that they make all their wealth from but you can't take your chances on having just one business.
824  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why do members switch campaigns always? on: September 14, 2023, 07:54:15 AM
This is still correct though:
I've never left a campaign before it ended. How many users can say that?

I don't know if you're speaking in reference to your alt here or your main account but here's my opinion on this if you're speaking as your main account. Not everyone has the same privileges you have on the forum and don't get me wrong (you deserve them all) but you're unlikely to be kick out of a campaign unlike other members on the forum. People are looking for security in campaigns, that's campaign that won't kick them out just because they don't have the reputation like you do. People switch campaign for various reasons and one of them is to work with a manager that's less likely to replace them with others that are of higher reputation. Also you're privilege to be in one of the best paying campaigns (frequently) and also have side deals that are worth more than some campaigns are paying that many accounts can never have on the forum. You should be comfortable in any campaign you're participating in and don't have a reason to switch.

I think members also switch campaigns, because they follow specific bounty managers. There are managers who a more strict than others, when we speak about post evaluation, and these managers also have more light or preferable campaign rules. For example some managers allow local posting, some just count few posts. Some members, instead of struggling to post 15 posts in English each week, would rather make 25 posts on their native language.

One rule I highlighted in my thread: [Guide] Factors to consider before joining paid signature campaigns. is that we should always work for a campaign that won't change our posting habits and even when they're the only options available on the forum, we should avoid them and keep participating in discussion on the forum. You don't need to be in a campaign to write on the forum and you shouldn't join any that you won't be comfortable in. Signature campaign aren't jobs that you can justify being in for the salary to keep life moving until you find another more suiting to you. So in this scenario instead of participating in a campaign that won't allow you to post in your local baord, ignored them and wait for those that'll allow you be you.
825  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are stable coins free from SEC ? on: September 14, 2023, 07:26:40 AM
Well if you don't know, the SEC ruined BUSD for Binance exchange, this stable coin is no more in operation, that's one down, it could be the end but something tells me that stable coin will be the next target in the future,

Personally I believe that SEC going after BUSD is a personal attack on Binance exchange and Cz imstead of it having anything to do with BUSD breaking any law like been an unregistered security. We have more worst stablecoin that aren't been attacked like USDT but they're still been allowed to operate freely. It's not a news that SEC were looking for means to go after Binance exchange and have tired several allegations without having any positive feedback until they went after their stablecoin and have forced Binance to seize support for the stablecoin (Binance is doing that slowly). SEC is unlikely to go after other major stablecoin because they can easily defend the fact that they aren't security but I still don't understand why BUSD was unable to defend itself.

Truly if the SEC wants to bring crypto down for good they would have gone after Stablecoins first, I mean this would surely deliver a massive blow to crypto industries and the market would be instantly in red, not like the 17k dump that Bitcoin did in the past month, imagine bringing USDT down, this will cripple Bitcoin for good.

The SEC attack on the industry is a planned out attack, and going after stablecoin first won't have had more impact of fear as going after projects issuing coins/tokens did because stablecoin aren't securities but these tokens been minted out of nowhere are all securities and they can be easily taken down. Besides stablecoin aren't the backbone of the industry, the market was there before stablecoin got introduced and even after they're gone the market will still be active. If the current stablecoin get destroyed by the SEC, new ones will emerge and start from where the previous ones stop and the new ones will be more immune to SEC lawsuits so the SEC know what they're doing not going after stablecoin first.
826  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Heartwarming as Binance donates $3 Million in BNB to it's users in Morocco on: September 14, 2023, 06:52:23 AM
According to the Binance founder and CEO CZ, he said: “The impact of the earthquake on the Moroccan people is devastating. We hope we can bring some support to those affected. For Moroccan users who receive these donations but are unimpacted by the earthquake, we ask them to pass the funds on to those most in need.”

I sympathize with both those afffected directly and indirectly, earthquake isn't something we should wish on any nations as they are very destructive. Seeing the videos online shows how seriously the earthquake was and people are going to be homeless. Some people that have worked their whole life to build or buy the house that they were leaving in will get destroyed and I just hope humanitarian helps reach all of them affected which brings me to what Cz just did with his BNB donation. Although his gesture are highly appreciated but he could have done the donation in a different way. I don't like when people mix business with charity, he could have easily converted those funds to stablecoin and done his donation without putting BNB under pressure because those that received the donation will have to sell at some point to get fiats.

Sincerely speaking i don't know the kind of heart CZ has but to me i can classify it to the heart of gold, at this point the most needed time he raise such a huge amount money in bnb to the affected victims is a thing that no one else could thought of.

CZ is a businessman and a opportunist, he'll jump on every opportunity to look good in the eyes of the public as that's what's good for his business (exchange). This donation will do him more good than it might do those affected because not everyone will get the donation. The amount of publicity that both Binance the exchange and BNB the coin will get get is bigger than what would had been the results if that donation amount was been used for marketing. Media coverage, peer2peer discussion about the donation etc will all give Binance free promotion. Maybe next time the funds should be donated directly to an NGO that can meet those affected directly.
827  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another reason and proof to keep funds in your wallet not in an exchange on: September 13, 2023, 11:15:20 PM
Earlier there is a news that Coinex have been hack, where the hacker transfer and drain the wallet, with ETH, Polygon, Tron etc, i think this is the first time this exchange has been hack, i say i have coins there but no value, but if you have lots of eth and others thats is a major concern, since we don't know if they can refund the loses.

Same story we have been hearing since cryptocurrency exchange went mainstream, most exchange aren't worthy of been used because they have zero security features and aren't different from those that have been compromised in the past. Most exchanges just copy codes from other exchange and use for their platforms which means if the copied platforms got exploited, there's every tendency that they'll be exploited as well. Keeping coins on exchanges aren't not wise, this isn't going to be the first time an exchange is getting exploited and it won't be the last because hackers are constantly improviny their skills to steal and the exchanges aren't doing things necessary to keep their platforms safe (because there isn't much they can do since they're already using a centralized server).

Its just wrong on first place , why would you store your valuable asset on exchange , most exhanger are centralized anyways so its not make any sense that you would store an Unregulated asset onto it . doesnt matter how convenient and safe , no one really knows when security breach and other something goes wrong happen. The only right answer was ur own wallet , you get your own private key and full access and control on your own asset .

Both the decentralized exchange aren't recommend to store coins on their platforms. You don't have to store coins on exchanges because most of them are centralized, you don't do that because it isn't safe and exchanges has their own services that they offer which acting as a wallet isn't one of them. Your coins should be store on a wallet that gives you full control. We should be the ones protecting our coins so we can hold ourselves responsible for anything that happens to them and not be in a situation were you lose your coins because of others mistakes. Centralized exchange are always liable to attack because they're perfect target to hackers.
828  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it too late to seek a new beginning? on: September 13, 2023, 10:02:12 PM
Without anyone's help, I began studying the forum and gradually, I began understanding some things, and I learned that bounties are no longer as profitable as they once were and that they are simply a waste of time and also I figured that I can learn more about bitcoin here.

You have taken the right steps and it'll favour you in the future, it's never too late to make the right decision when we're on the wrong path of life just as you were. The mistake you made wasn't that you participated in bounties but you shifted all your attention to just bounties and this means you were more after the "how to earn" instead of leaning first. Let me ask you this question, if bounties were still profitable would you have still picked interest in learning about cryptocurency instead of just participating in bounties and are you shifting your attention just because bounties are no longer profitable. What happens in the future if bounties becomes profitable again will you go back or continue improving your knowledge on cryptocurency. I asked those questions so you'll know what you really want (is it to make money or to learn).

I've been a little busy lately, which has reduced the amount of time I spend here, but I believe I'm finally prepared to embark on the path to becoming a bitcoin expert. I desire a new beginning and am hoping that my prior participation in bounties was not improper. In order to accomplish this aim of mine, I will need all of your help and guidance.

If you really want to learn and not to grow your account on the forum to be eligible to participate in signature campaign since bounties aren't profitable again then your account history of been a bounty participants isn't important. What's important is you dedicating time for your learning process through asking questions and doing personal research to improve your knowledge on cryptocurency. Use the resources been sent to you by the forum members and study. Watch educational YouTube video and whenever you have some misunderstanding don't fail to ask questions on the forum and we'll assist you in the best way possible. We have very intellectual users on the forum so you'll be in good hands.

What is democracy:
Quote
Democracy is often said to mean 'rule by the people'. An example of this is any system of government in which people vote their elected representatives into parliament.

You think say na because those things wey dey happen for other African countries no dey happen for Nigeria na him make you think say we dey do democracy. Wetin dem teach me say na democracy for school no be wetin we dey see for the country. The government supposed be government of the people by the people and for the people. Abeg no vex na wetin dey happen for the country be dat? When last our vote really matters abi no be dis country wey we dey see person tell us say na him turn and still collect the power without we not been able to do anything. This one wey you list all those president from different regions of the country wetin dat one dey tell you, it simply means we're doing turn by turn so na dat one be democracy or our politicians dey share the country as it fits dem.

Democracy no be turn by turn, e supposed be who the people vote in, e no matter if the person qualify or not but who the people love and they want make him rule them that's what democracy is about. If you go wash your skin from black to white no means say you go call yourself white (take Micheal Jackson as a case study). The back here be say we no dey actually practice democracy and the white be say the government dey say na democracy wey dey practice. How you go accept wetin no be true, abi you wan make we dey suffer like other African countries before we agree say no be democracy we dey practice, just because the government say we're doing something that isn't true no mean say we go accept am. In a Democratic government e no matter if na the same family dey rule but provided the people want dem and they're been voted back into power, na democracy be dat. Until our vote begin dey count we're deceiving ourselves thinking we're practicing democracy.

On paper the country is practicing democracy but in reality the government are just deceiving the innocent citizens.
830  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Waste of money can be utilise in another source on: September 13, 2023, 07:43:15 PM
Some people health needs smoking to survive but I will advice who is into smoking and drinking to divert the money for bitcoin because many of us today misused some of the opportunity of investment instead they use it for something that is not profiting

Abeg who dey need smoking to survive, like dem born you from ur mama belle and you carry Igbo for hand dey come out? I no understand and even if you dun smoke to the extent say if you no do am your body go worry you, na you cause am because if you no been smoke from the beginning you no for get dat kind conditions dem. Smoking no good but I no go talk say drinking and gambling no good too. Dem dey alright if you dey do am for the leisure times but e no make sense make you over do am come dey get addiction problem dem. Dat one go put you under another kind challenge wey if you no dey careful you fit see yourself for situations wey you go regret your own life. About the investing dem, no be every money wey you go invest, sometimes carry yourself commot enjoy life small.

I think you don't smoke, drink or gambling, so don't blame those that are engaged on it. People doing all this act do it for fun. You no fit say that they no dey invest, not necessarily say na only Bitcoin go invest your money. Mr OP you no hw much dey dey sale all this things, the money dey small and person wey I dey think say you dey refer to na the middle class persons wey dey look for waitin dey chop everyday, by the way all this no fit past #2000 for poor person. Is not that am supporting all this act ooo but they need am to survive.

The money dey small no means say e no dey waste when you over do all this things wey OP dey talk so, when you accumulate all the money together you for fit use am do better thing wey go improve your lifestyle and no be must say na Bitcoin investmen wey you go do, other investment dey or businesses. Infact you for use dat money learn some skills wey go improve your life or take lessons on some kind things dem wey man supposed learn. Those money spent on those things dey plenty oh when you add all together over the years wey you dey do am. See taxi man wey dey hustle d whole dey go drink and smoke all for bar, all those kind life no make sense because if dem been dey save that money use do better things for their life, e fit for uplift their living situatios.
831  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Can a unified language solve Nigeria's problem of tribalism? on: September 13, 2023, 07:12:50 PM
The cancerous problem with the country is that the countrymen don't fight for national interest but rather for ethnic and religious interest above national. Whenever we start to place national interest above ethnic and religious interest we will unconsciously be killing those barriers that creates differences in among us, because at that time we will be speak with one voice, one interest, one goal and one object which is the National interest.

Better truth and this one na because we no dey united for the country, everybody just dey fight for wetin go benefit dem. See as people dey support Peter obi so, even though na him be the better candidate yet many people just dey only support am because him from the side wey go benefit dem. Christians dey support am because others (dat's those wey follow am contest) no be christians and even Peter obi know this one dats why his campaign were mostly targeted at attending church service, the guy been dey jump from one church to another during campaigns time and they beg pastors to help am convinced people of his aims for the country (voice note later leak of dis conversations dem). The biggest problem of Nigeria na say we no dey united. Unity alone dey eradicate many problems because we go dey the same frequency.

While the idea of a common language can foster unity, it alone cannot eradicate issues like bad leadership and underdevelopment in a country. The question is: what's the purpose of unity when those in power continue to neglect their responsibilities?

When we dey united we go follow put hand together commot the bad eggs wey dey worry our country and nobody go opposed. But now if you wan commot person, dis one go say na their person or na their turn so you no fit succeed to commot the person. E dey like northerns, see as dem support buhari in the midst of all the rubbish government wey him dey do but those people believe say dem born dem to rule this country so e better their person dey there then for dem to lose power. If to say we dey United, we no suppose dey share political power to carry everybody along like how ministers are been appointed not because of the CV of those people but as a reward or compensation package.
832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: September 13, 2023, 06:11:59 PM
If Arsenal could push Manchester United to concede 3 goals in EPL which is consider as one of the toughest league in the world, who is PSV that they can't pieces. Anything can happen but this is what the current Arsenal form can do because we are gunners and about history, they are not different from Arsenal in the Champions League; the last time they won, many of their players are not yet born.

Manchester united hasn't been in their best shape so we can't be using that match to determine how good arsenal are although there's no doubt that arsenal are on a mission this season to win a trophy that they didn't get last season after been the better team in most of the time the season lasted. The premier league isn't the champions league as both league has different atmosphere. Arsenal knows Manchester united very well so the coach could easily draft out a plan to play them and he did just that and won the game. PSV is a different team and don't play regularly against Arsenal for them to know how to play them. No team in the champions league should be underrated because determination can make teams do the unthinkable.

Group F was the most challenging group compared with the rests of group in UCL group qualification. All the clubs were placing at the group F were strong teams on their domestic competitions.
Im thinking this group become the hardest group to predict. Im aware if some teams like newcastle, PSG and acmilan are equal.

Newcastle won't qualify from that group, I was thinking they'll do well this season but from the few games I have watched them play this season it seems they have lost the gas and energy they had last season. Playing in the champions league and the premier league isn't going to be easy on them so I don't see them qualifying from the group and also as I have said before, they're the less experience team among other teams there. Dortmund are my guarantee pick to advance from he group and they might even top the group considering how good they were in the last season tournament until they met Chelsea that knocked them out of the competition. Ac Milan could also advance easily.
833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 13, 2023, 06:00:44 PM
Even they can't get Mbappe, they still have an another option which is Osimhen.
Osimhen is cheaper and easier to recruit than Mbappe, both of them have a good sense to score a goal and fast. But Mbappe is more overrated since he from France and he have won a world cup, unlike Osimhen which lack of trophy.

Real Madrid just don't sign players because they're good, they sign players that are sellable in regards to image right and fame. Mbappe is the better choice fitting to Real Madrid but the only problem will be how they'll fit Mbappe and Vinicius Junior into the team because they both play from the right (NO 7). If they can't find a way to play both players then they shouldn't put the coach in a difficult situation were they will have to choose between both players. If they can make any of them play in the left wing effectively then Real Madrid will be the team to look out for next season because they'll be unstoppable just as just Manchester city were unstoppable last season and they won the treble. Victor Osimhen shouldn't have all his hope on Real Madrid signing him instead he can go for Chelsea if they qualify for the champion league next season, he'll be the proper Didier Drogba replacement.

Today's gossip: Chelsea's 24-year-old English defender Trevoh Chalobah does not expect to play a prominent role when he returns from a hamstring injury this month. (Standard)

I don't like the way Chelsea (coach or the owner) is treating Chalobah because this guy has been giving his best for the club but not getting appreciated. He wants to stay at Chelsea and fight for his spot but they're not giving him the opportunity to prove himself. Chalobah isn't a bad defender, there was a period when he didn't lose any game he started for Chelsea but because of lack of consistency of playing due to him getting benched cause him to lose that record. Chalobah is better than Wesley Fofana that was bought from Leicester city and haven't proven himself to the club. The club even tried to disposed of Chalobah on the deadline day of the season and I believe that was because they're trying to get 100% profit on him to balance the sheet.
834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 13, 2023, 05:42:43 PM
Many of overrated ex-Chelsea's players are flopping when they joined other teams e.g. Jorginho, Mount, and Havertz. While other cheap players e.g. Kovacic and Pulisic are still able to survive in their new teams.

The money used to buy players contribute to how the player is be received at the new club, this isn't only a Chelsea thing as other clubs are experiencing same results. Chelsea too has players they overbought that are flopping and also players that were bought for their worth and doing well for the club. When a player is been overbought, the fans expect him to start proving his worth immediately and that can disorganized the players because he's joining a new club and need some readjustment period but doesn't have that because of what the fans and coaches are expecting from him. Low price put you under the radar and even when you're not performing well people will give you a break because you didn't cost them much.

Chelsea has truly struggled to discover their optimal composition since the middle of last season. In several matches against lower-ranked teams, Chelsea continues to face difficulties, and when it comes to their high-stakes Big Match encounters, their performance deteriorates even further.

We don't have forward that can be relied on and thats has been our problem from last season but the coaches and club owners has refused to recognized that. They thought they have solved that problem when they signed Nkunku but forgot to do their due diligence about his injuries. Nkunku doesn't play a complete season without having some injury crises and that's what has begun without the season starting properly. Sterling can't be relied on every game because he isn't a consistent player. The only reason he was doing so well at Manchester city was because he was surrounded with world class player with lots of experience and a worthy manager but at Chelsea things hasn't been as expected.
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: September 13, 2023, 04:50:50 PM
We can say that Ronaldo joined Al Nassr for money. Of course, if he doesn't spend that money, Ronaldo will refuse to play in the Saudi Arabian professional league. Earning a lot of money from a legitimate job would be great. But this is even better when we get to do work that we are passionate about and love. So, who can refuse that offer?
Ronaldo shows that his passion and desire for the title are still boiling. He was both angry and sad, the emotions of someone who works for passion first, and money is indispensable.

Didn't Messi just rejected a more lucrative offer than what Ronaldo is been offered, Lukaka also rejected a big more offer form the Saudi club that was interested in bringing him to the Saudi Pro league. Other players rejected a move to join the league like Victor Osimhen and the rest that the media didn't make popular. It doesn't matter if Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabia league because the money or not but is he justifying for the money they spent on him, the answer is yes because he just won then a trophy that they haven't won before. He's also contribution greatly to the publicity of the club and the league I general. He's also the reason many other European players are join the league. Without Ronaldo, I don't think the league would have gotten the amount of attention it has received I'm the past months.

Of course, Gerrad's arrival brought great changes. Moreover, the arrival of Gerrad was able to bring European players like Henderson. But Gerrad's arrival seems to be a big problem for him. This is a tax matter. If Gerrad does really well in the SPL then he could get a big tax bill. There is no coach protection like in Europe which makes the problem can later arise.   This is a provision from Europe that players and bosses must remain abroad for one full tax year in order for their income to remain tax-free from HMRC.

Steven Gerrard arrival at the league also helped in convincing the players joining Al-Ettifaq FC especially the players with Liverpool connections. I think other clubs should do something similar by bringing in other managers that are famous in Europe like Frank Lampard. He'll be able to convince other players to come from the premier league and other top European league to join the Saudi Pro league. In regards to the tax issue, managers could easily do as the HMRC says to avoid defaulting. One year isn't a big time to stay away from home considering the benefits you'll get after that also I think there'll be a protection for managers in the future.

What left is Morocco vs Liberia match and I don't know if it was rescheduled yet or not.

It got rescheduled and it was expected because of the numerous earthquake experience by the people of Morocco. I can't imagine what they're going through, my condolences goes to all affect persons. The match been played while the country is going through this tough times won't have been right so we commend the officials for rescheduling the match, there'll be plenty of time to play the game. Probably after the families affected are healed from the whole situation. I'm routing for Morocco to win this game with a big margin, I know Morocco are always the favorite but they should win with more goals so the nation will have more reason to smile again.
Morocco and Liberia were due to meet at Agadir Stadium in the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations. However, a 6.9 earthquake, which left more than 1,000 dead and 300 injured, struck the city and forced the authorities to suspend the match. The decision was announced in an official statement:
"Following the earthquake recorded on Friday night in several regions of the Kingdom, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation announces the postponement to a later date of the match of the last day of the qualifiers (Group K) of the Cup. This postponement was decided after consultation with the African Football Confederation," they said.

With the official list of referees to officiate the AFCON 2024 Tournament out, no Nigerian ref was included and I'm beginning to wonder why. The last time a Nigerian ref officiated in AFCON was 13 years ago.

England has influences, they have all the big media attention so ignoring them will be putting that competition under some serious attack from the media houses in England but we don't have such influence in Nigeria. When things like this happens everybody will just stay silent. The media power in Africa is South Africa because they own all the big companies in sport. The removing of Nigerians from the list of officiating staff is justifiable because it I ask you to mention one referees that's a Nigerian that you know you can't. We aren't the best people when it comes to having integrity and it's better they aren't allowed on the big stages to disgrace this country more because I know when the opportunity comes to take a bribe they won't hesitate to accept that money, they're aren't even been payed well in Nigeria leagues.
837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Ignore the new Apple toys & Invest in Bitcoin, history always repeat itself. on: September 12, 2023, 11:56:09 PM

I don't do this often but if my post can save a soul from making the wrong decision, it would be worth the effort. We're in September which is the period which Apple flood the market with their new toys and people make the mistakes of throwing away money every year on these items. Why would anyone buy something that'll be devalued in about 12 months time because around this time next year Apple will be releasing a new set of devices and an upgrade of what will be released this year. Instead of buying those devices now, you can use that money for something more reasonable by investing that money in Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin is low currently which is another reason to make use of this opportunity to invest in Bitcoin.

Those that bought bitcoin and ignored the latest iphone during the period those previous model above (in the image) were launched have made a better financial decision and anybody thinking of getting the new iphone when you already have a perfectly working phone should rethink that decision and invest the money in buying Bitcoin. You'll be getting around BTC0.031 +/-  which will be worth more in the future than the amount you'll spend to buy it while that new Iphone will lose value in the next 12 months. if you really what to get something relating to apple then buy their stocks instead of the devices (that's another means of diversifying your portfolio, if you think you already have enough Bitcoin secured for the future).

Just imagine the profits that would have been if those that bought the new iphone during the release date of those model above bought bitcoin instead. Avoid making same mistakes and choose bitcoin.

Nigeria's security institution is burdened with corruption; from the army to the police and virtually every arm of it. It is rather unfortunate that the top military hierarchy are just politicians in military uniforms. As it stand today, laws are made only for the poor because the rich are under the protection of the security forces who are ready to kill to protect them

Na so we dun see am na but make you no think say e different for other parts of the world because this one na d normal thing for this life. The only problem na say our own system no dey work and instead of dem tdey do this behavior through backyard as e dey for other parts of the world, our own an say na every large dem dey do am because nothing anybody fit do dem for the country. I still dey talk am say we no dey any democracy for this country, we just dey lie to ourselves because these politicians still dey anytime wey dem like. Corruption dey everywhere for the country and the arm forces no different, e fit be say na dem corrupt pass self.

Until our security institution is reformed and made to stand for what they are supposed to, I don't see us making much progress as a people.

First thing first, are the law enforcement officers been paid well, I no think say dem dey pay dem well and when you reason wetin this people dey pass through and still gets owed salary, if na yourself you supposed vex you and that's why the law enforcement officers pull their anger on normal civilians because dem dun already dey vex due to the poor treatments to them from the government. If to say this government dey take care of this security officers maybe dem no for dey mumu as dem dey mumu. And na why any opportunity wey dem see to take make money dem dey take am like during elections.

I was told that some people have been holding BTC over 7 or 8 years for the price of BTC to reach a particular price of their choice before they can sell, does it mean they don't have issues to solve by selling their BTC? Or they have other way to get the money to solve the issues without selling their BTC? because it hard me to hold long like one year when there are some important things to buy.

Dem talk say dun put plenty people for problems wey dem no expect, no go dey follow wetin dem talk take dey live your own life but do wetin go workout for your. Wetin happen to you na wetin dey happen to many people wey invest inside bitcoin and wetin dey cause am na lack of planning wey dem no get. When you dey invest inside Bitcoin, no go pack all ur money take dey invest or you go see urself for this kind situation few months later. When you wan invest inside bitcoin, time your money well. Keep savings one side and also keep vex money wey you go use Incase things no go as you plan dem and that spare wey remain na wetin you go invest. I know say dem say make you invest before you spend or chop but for crypto here because of how volatile wey d market be, e better you no go carry all your money take do investment.

Not that I don't make profits when I hold, but to hold for that particular price to come to pass is the major challenge to me, can you share your idea on how to make it real in the future for that your target price to come to pass, so that people that are facing the same problem like me will learn.

Invest only money wey you no go reason for a very long time na the only wey to reach this target wey you dey find so because when you invest only money wey you no go even know say e dey for investment, you go fit forget about am for Bitcoin until e grow fit give you better turnup. Make I use this example give you, make I say you dey chop #100k monthly for salary, you fit dey invest #10k monthly for Bitcoin. You see dat 10k wey you dey invest, you no go reason am because na chicken change for your salary and when you do am for 12 months you dun invest 120k so and you go get cash to handle other challenges wey come your side but you see person wey dey chop #100k go invest #50k  or even more just because him wan chop quick money, na dat kind person go enter this your situationship. Dey invest only your spare money and you no go enter this problem again.
