821  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to Hodl or buy the Dip? on: June 09, 2023, 09:04:10 AM
With the current bear run of bitcoin at the market cap of 520.50B, down from 527.83B yesterday and down from 570.09B one year ago, at the price of $25k do you think it is a good opportunity to Hodl or buy the Dip in the current market?
DCA is probably the best thing to do from here since I believe we are not yet at the bottom and with the current news in circulation about Binance, the market can always go down again and if you are doing DCA, you can always keep buying at different price fall intervals so that you can have a good average buying price. If you buy at once and then the market goes down further, you might regret it.

So, I would probably suggest holding the current assets and then doing DCA for the remaining balance. That seems to be the most viable option for the current market conditions and wait for the bull run that might occur in 2024 after the Bitcoin halving event.
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving out to promote Bitcoin on: June 08, 2023, 04:53:21 PM
I think you are a really good and kind person who wants to help people. The most important thing is that they really understand what they are dealing with, and not just get free money and forget about it.
I don't think that $5 is a lot of money even if you are from a third-world country, but as long as you are getting it for doing nothing, why not? And it is a pretty good idea to incentivize people to learn about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies because humans tend to focus more on things that they know will benefit them whether in the short run or in the long run. Learning now and getting paid about $5 and then benefitting from the technology in the future is like a win-win situation.

I'm pretty sure that those who got $5 each for answering simple quiz questions about Bitcoin will tell their friends and families about the money they've won and how they've won it, and even if it's a small effort, it will surely enlighten some people about Bitcoin's existence.
823  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My spot Market trading stradegy what u think on: June 07, 2023, 04:58:10 AM
My spot market trading stradegy.

First we need to understood that coin the assets can fall down max of 100% and Even this one is very high %
That's wrong information my friend, in crypto world an asset can fall more than 2x to 4x depending on the previous pump that the asset as got. There isn't a fix range for falling of coins, and 100% is not a fix range for the dips. If you remember the case of Luna, and then that of FTX then you'll understand that those assets have gone many times down in their price, and that was way more than 100% in just few days.

Still, if we keep a positive outlook at your strategy than still there are many chances that you'll lock up your capital into a coin. The market in the times of bear run goes way many times below the range of 100%, and it hardly ever see a pump in those times. Any negative news in the market could create fear in the minds of the investors and within short period after that news the market can face huge dips because of bulk selling.

Your strategy might work in good market conditions, but a sudden bad condition could lock your capital for a long time if you applied the strategy with a useless coin that has limited use cases. I always recommend you to be careful with the strategy, and you should pick your coin more carefully because some of the coins won't get pumps after getting dumped, and the exchanges usually delist such coins.
I think you are not getting what he is implying here, by 100% fall he simply means that the token falls 100% from its current price which simply means that a token goes almost to zero which barely happens unless a project rug pulls. For example, if a token is worth $100 at the moment and it falls 30%, it will be priced at $70 after the fall, and if it falls 90%, it will now be priced at $10.

This strategy is basically good if you are using it for a coin that you trust and know that if it drops 30%, it will recover back and will go higher than the previous 30% that it has lost so that you don't get your money stuck in the trade.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: June 06, 2023, 05:23:29 AM
So it is very important for us gambling players that before we enter here we know the toss of a casino first, so that from the beginning we already know the wafering requirements. Because I remember before when I was a relatively new gambler, I was just exploring.

So, in my experience I deposited 50$, now when I saw that my money really came in, that's when I started gambling. And in less than 1 hour of my betting on a slot-games, I hit 55$ so, when I saw that, I thought about releasing the winnings I hit, just because the casino already has a wagering amount that is already followed I should be able to accumulate at least 100$ from my playing including winnings and losses.

Of course, since I'm a beginner, I couldn't do anything but follow their rules, so when I withdrew, I didn't withdraw 55$ but only 33$ because others lost in the slot games as well.
That is not really a lot, a $100 wagering requirement for a deposit of $50 means just a 2x wagering requirement which is easily reachable, I'm pretty sure that you wouldn't even be able to withdraw that $33 if the wagering requirement was 10x or something in which case, you would need to have wagered a total amount of $500 to be able to withdraw something back after your deposit.

These high requirements are the reason why a lot of people lose their initial bankrolls to the casinos because just like you, everyone will surely get some big win in the process but only because the wagering requirement is not met, they can't withdraw it and they keep playing until they lose everything at the end, and as they say, the house always wins.
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 06, 2023, 03:53:29 AM
The serie A is finally over, juventus team will be participating in the conference league unfortunatly for them the league took 10 points away from them which stoped them from participating in the champions league it was quite the disapointing season for the team, as for the relegation spezia team will be facing verona to see who will remain in the serie A.
If Juventus regain the 10 points they lost, then surely Juventus will be in the top four. But sometimes, I still see several sources who are still discussing Juventus' points, and some say so. But yes, even though the League has ended, but when Juventus still has the right to recover lost points, then that could happen even though indeed, the chance is very low to happen. Also, about Spezia against Verona later to compete to return to playing in Serie A next season, personally, both of them are still worthy.
In recent few years we have too many decisions by Serie A authorities which are creating questions about their investigation system and authority but nothing is going to change here because things are not in control if Juventus regain their 10 points then surely AC Milan going to lose their Champions League spot and Juventus going to enjoy this as well but now most chances we have no changes in these spots with Juventus will be competed in Conference league and AC Milan will be in Champions League.

Here I am favoring Verona because on many times they have done better performance but still lost but Spezia is also good side which perform good against big clubs as they have done in last game Roma hardly earned three points after having injury time goal from now things are on level for the both sides.
826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: June 05, 2023, 06:30:15 PM
Actually, if I recall correctly.
Biden's winning margin last time was quite slim, so if Trump manages to become the Republican candidate there is a good chance Trump would win this time. The Republican party has become more radical, so has the democrat Party, those in the middle who suffer from the economical decisions taken by the executive are those who will decide on 2024 who is going to be president.

If Biden had won with a wider margin than he did, I think I would agree with you prediction, though.
Well, you are sort of right, but also wrong. How should I put this, the end result wasn't close, it's required 270 electoral votes to win and Biden had 306 vs Trump having 232, so when you look at it that way then we can say that it was a landslide win, it was a "huge" win like Trump would say, the difference was insane when it ended, reaching 300+ is always a huge one. However, if you look at it individually state by state, there were some states that were closer than the others.

It means the end result shows you are wrong, but some states were close so you are right. If Trump somehow gets ALL those states to flip, then he can win. He needs to flip Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin and all of those small difference states but we are not even talking about just one, he needs at least 3 if I am not wrong, that's going to be tough, I am not sure if he could do it on all three together.
827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 05, 2023, 06:11:00 PM
City is only having UCL as the remaining match before the club will be entering into the new season. That will be so stupid if city is not putting the target to win the final match and get trophy as it was aiming to win the treble winners very soon.

The match against intermilan gonna be a bit different. I knew that majority of people underestimated intermilan at this moment due to the how big domination of manchester city in almost all of competitions. The only problem if manchester city has a chance to repeat the bad history against chelea again. The chance is quite small, but it doesn't mean intermilan had a zero chance for that.

Lukaku and lautaro martinez gonna be big bets from intermilan like haaland and KDB from city. The match will come this week. It's very interesting to watch it to come soon.
There may be a lot of drama betwen intermilan vs mancheste city in the future.
Obviously they will put it all out there without a doubt, they are going to both rest so they could be fresh for the game but also they will do conditioning as well so they are not "too" rested as well, they will be bringing 100%, like they are fresh and never played before, it is going to be epic. I believe that they do not have anything to worry about at this stage and they should be able to actually do something with this without a doubt.

I understand all those people who has opposed to this will end up with some questions without a doubt, but that doesn't mean that we are not going to get anything changing anytime soon, it is going to end up being something that benefits them and Inter may try their best but there is no way they can beat City at all.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet should be used to keep bitcoin safe? on: June 05, 2023, 04:30:19 PM
Thank you all for explaining so beautifully. Many people talk about many wallets, I chose Electrum wallet. I am going to use electrum wallet.
It's a good choice; in my opinion, it's the best one out there. I've been using it for the past few years, and I'm perfectly satisfied; it's simple and efficient. As others have already mentioned, if you're not actively trading, avoid stalling your funds on a centralized exchange; there are plenty of examples of them suddenly failing, such as Mt.Gox or FTX. I also saw some users recommending online wallets, which should be avoided at all costs. I've lost money that way.

Moreover, if I were you, after you're accustomed to cryptocurrencies and hold some Bitcoin or other coin yourself, I'd consider purchasing a hardware wallet, preferably Trezor, because there's currently some commotion regarding Ledger, one of the two most well-known options.
Keeping funds at an exchange or any other centralized exchange is obviously not a good choice if as you said they are not being used and are just kept idle, one should only have funds at an exchange or another platform if they are using the funds for some service offered by that platform, otherwise, one should always keep their funds in a wallet that give them full custody of their funds.

Electrum is probably the best choice if someone isn't willing to buy a hardware wallet and if someone doesn't have a lot of funds, electrum should be good enough to keep a few hundred or even a few thousand dollars since it is safe and secure if you have the seed phrase and private keys safe.
829  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I trade bitcoin? on: June 05, 2023, 03:14:03 PM
If you want to trade in bitcoin, you need to trade bitcoin with some wisdom. Suppose you trading some money in Bitcoin, you split this money into two parts, trading the first part of the money long-time in Bitcoin, and convert the second part to stable coin. Later when the market price of bitcoins drops, or the bitcoin market crashes, trade bitcoins with this money. Then you will get good amount of profit immediately. So if you trade Bitcoin like this you can get success very quickly.
Actually, not everyone gets success in trading because most people don't prefer learning before starting their journey, for such people, buying low and holding for long-term is the best solution. Buying and selling in short intervals requires experience and knowledge and if you don't have that, you can barely become a successful day trader or scalper. So if you don't know much about the market, you should simply just buy and hold.

Day trading might not look so difficult but it also isn't as simple as it may look or sound, one wrong trade can make your capital or a part of it stuck as it is not very easy to time the market perfectly and only someone who is very much experienced can do that and even those won't be able to time it perfectly.
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are a lot of scams on Twitter, and illegal links steal your assets. on: June 04, 2023, 07:21:39 PM
A few days ago, I saw a KOL with a large number of fans on Twitter. He was recommending a project recommended by many KOLs. As long as he followed his guidelines, he could get more airdrop tokens. As a result, when I clicked on the link, connect When my little fox wallet is signed and confirmed, my assets will be reset to zero. I checked the data on the chain, and in a short period of time, he actually defrauded more than 20,000 US dollars in digital currency, which is terrible.
Scamming 101: "You can easily scam people that want to scam you."

I am receiving many emails that promise me free money every day. Do I get greedy and click them links? No. If I did, then I would lose everything in my PC.

These scammers using people's greed against them and it is one of the most profitable business models ever existed. Better than owning a casino probably because they don't even pay any taxes.
It is way more profitable than owning a casino business, though it involves a lot of work because scammers are on it 24 hours to get as many victims as possible, they manage to get quite a lot of money every week or every month since we all know that there are a lot of greedy people that will get instantly interested if they see a website offering great returns on investments.

And the best part for scammers is, such people, will always be available for them, even if they fail to get everyone trapped if they manage to get at least 5 to 10 people out of a thousand, they will still be doing great because they take away quite a lot of money from the victims.
831  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chat GPT do a TA about bitcoin on: June 04, 2023, 06:53:30 PM
I tried before using AI tools and asked them especially related to financial matters, they always have disclaimers and didn't have clear explanations when it comes to predictions.  The most thing that I hated most is that they always said, is their data was based on 2021 and beyond.  So IMO, chatpgt is total waste of time relying on them but about TA on Bitcoin price.
That's great if they said that but I think there are still people who can't accept that fact. They are still expecting more from these AI's especially now that there are new AI's like Chatgpt and it was also being improved from time to time. Right now, Chatgpt is on it's version 4 but its performance are still kinda bad. Just take a look at the response get by @bettercrypto. What surprises me is he still call Chatgpt good.

You are right that they are delayed. Using them is not only a waste of time but its also a waste of money. This is why it's only better to rely on our own analysis. It may not be the best but at least it is more updated than what the AI's has to offer.
832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Casinos Should Do Survey From Time To Time To Assess You. on: June 04, 2023, 01:53:19 PM
Casinos may do survey from time to time but as a business, the survey will be something like "satisfaction level" of their players related to their services. This kind of survey might be needed to improve their service as they will know what is wanted by players and what is not wanted. However if we are talking about survey to asses players related to money to spend, I dont think casinos need to do it because it is player's responsibility. If it is about VPN, maybe a survey is needed because there are still many issues happened related to the use of VPN.
That's the point, casinos are businesses and they would probably not care much about how much their gamblers are wagering or losing every day or every week because the more their players wager and lose, the more revenue their platform will make and that is what they strive for, a business will surely look for profits and they wouldn't ask their customers not to spend much money with them.

All a casino can do is give a simple warning to a gambler that how much they've gambled so far and that they should gamble responsibly and that's all, now if a gambler doesn't take that seriously and goes ahead and gambles more, that is their responsibility.
833  Economy / Speculation / Re: Know your time to HOLD on: June 03, 2023, 06:52:45 PM
The concept is we have to think that bitcoin is a potential asset to hold in the long term, so that our investment goals are more focused and not thinking about how the market will react. Bitcoin will always have its moments ups and downs over a period of time, so it doesn't really matter how the market reacts once we have established an investment pattern. The problem lies in how knowledgeable we are in investing and most beginners get stuck in market conditions, so they don't try to learn the long term to invest in bitcoin.
Beginners seem to understand how the market works and how bitcoin can give them returns. But many newbies are too afraid to leave the market especially after they have invested, I mean they always monitor the price movement which at a certain moment has changed their investment plan especially when the price actually drops lower. I can say that as one of my personal experiences at beginner, but as I've been here longer and seen how bitcoin works over the long term, my investment plan hasn't changed much. So I think they need time, they need something convincing that in the long term bitcoin can give them returns, that's the experience.
What can be more convincing for them than the price history of Bitcoin? Shouldn't that be enough to convince someone that Bitcoin outperforms its own previous cycles in its next cycle, it has been proved multiple times in the past, so I don't think that people who don't believe in Bitcoin would get convinced only by words if they are not getting convinced by seeing this.

Facts and figures speak louder than words, and if you are a newbie and have doubts, all you need to do is do some research to find out for yourself what is the history of Bitcoin, where it started, how many problems it had to face, and how it reached where it is today by proving everyone wrong.
834  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are your bitcoin May/June price analysis? on: June 03, 2023, 06:16:06 PM
We got rejected at the 50 day average recently and thats the area of a monthly average also, its not that it has to be resistance as they are not fixed points but it does seem to point towards BTC being under the ice with a fight ahead of it still to regain positive momentum.    Near term it looks much more positive but this is just an  in-week view, we are above the 7 day average which is positive but the free space to move before 28k and a repeat encounter is also low.
For some reason, I feel like June is going to be a negative month just like May but it will go even lower compared to the -6% of May, the reason is simple, it doesn't have a strong support level and $28k seems to be a pretty strong resistance to cross at the moment, it isn't being able to go above it and even if it does, it doesn't manage to hold there for long and comes down quickly again.

From what it looks like, we will probably see the price going below $27k soon and once that happens, there will be more selling from those who have already started panicking seeing the price being so stable and more favorable for a drop.
835  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or banking investment? on: June 03, 2023, 06:41:53 AM
Well, I will always choose bitcoin, but then, it's not a bad idea to also diversify your investments to other investment sectors, not particularly keeping your money in the bank, but investing in assets like buying shares, precious stones like gold and diamond , investing in lands and properties - this is the same as real estate and so on..

For me currently, I have most of my investments in bitcoin, but like I said, I don't have to depend just on bitcoin, I also have small amount of monies invested in several other sectors of investment like I mentioned above.
It is essential to maintain a certain balance in your bank account to cater to your daily food shopping needs at supermarkets that do not accept Bitcoin as payment. As long as the distribution of Bitcoin remains uneven and it is not widely adopted as a legitimate means of payment according to regulations in certain countries, it becomes necessary to have a sufficient ATM balance in the bank. Paying for groceries with gold or stocks can be quite challenging. Therefore, it is advisable to possess an adequate amount of fiat currency to cover your daily expenses, including food.

Considering that you have a larger portion of your wealth in Bitcoin, it is understandable that you prefer investing in higher-risk assets. However, have you considered exploring other opportunities within the cryptocurrency realm, such as altcoins? They come with increased risks, but the potential returns can be equally rewarding.
It is obviously not possible to keep everything you have in Bitcoin since we all know that Bitcoin cannot be used for daily expenses yet and we will again need to convert some of our Bitcoins to fiat if we need to spend them and we will definitely need to do that on a daily basis, so yeah, it is not viable to not keep fiat at all only for this reason.

I don't agree that someone should invest in altcoins if they are thinking long term, altcoins can surely provide more profits but they are not good for the long run, if you are making short term trades, go for altcoins for sure.
836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 01, 2023, 08:15:39 PM
Ireland is not having the caliber of batsman that could face Stuart Board and England should have experimented with youngsters when they are facing a team like Ireland. It is going to be a one sided match and i would be surprised if the match drags to the final day.

England trail by 154 runs and the England batsman would take this as a batting practice and would score a huge first innings lead.
Ireland is a new team in test format but still their batting is extremely bad and disappointing,  on day 1 they end their first innings on 172 runs  and not a single player performed good .
England obviously will win this one easily but still ireland need to work alot on their batting.
First day of this test match is just completely as expected dominant by England, no Irish batsman were able to perform as requirements which Stuart Board steal the show in absence of James Anderson and have 5 for 51 which is good start of this season for him now he is also heading for the figure of 600 which he can complete in this season after bowling out Ireland on score of 172 England start their new season with Buzz ball and have impressive batting from Duckett and Crawley as they have 100+ runs very quickly now most chances tomorrow we will have another 300 which could be OK for them to win this match by an inning before The Ashes this could be amazing start for them because this will give them good confidence and better preparation for the start of this historic series.
837  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A opinion on regrets on: June 01, 2023, 07:14:39 PM
We regret about missing Bitcoin, then about XRP then about Ethereum then Doge then Shiba then Pepe (these are some top of my head and from what I've come across in my crypto term).

Point being there are always new opportunities and dwelling on regrets is futile.
Only a specific group of people get the privilege to get the benefits of an opportunity and all others will only regret it, but the truth is, it's all about destiny and luck. We were not destined to get profits from Bitcoin and Ethereum by becoming early adopters, we were not destined to become millionaires by investing early in DOGE, SHIB, and PEPE, and we might not even be destined to catch another opportunity that might come in the future.

But, just keep this thought alive in your mind that when it's our time and our destiny decides to shower its fortunes on us, we will get an opportunity to cash as well, and then those who missed it will be in our place, regretting.
838  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we headed to a nowhere economic direction ? on: June 01, 2023, 06:31:03 PM
I don't think, my country economy will be bad like your country economy because our government do everything possible within their capacity to ensure citizens don't feel bad about the current inflation that is affecting other countries citizens. Many investors in my country 80% of them are into cryptocurrency investment, because our government has created more opportunities for the people to take the advantage to support their financial growth in the country. I think, this inflation is about to leave for deflation to occur for people to start saving money, that they will use to invest in cryptocurrency and hold for the price to increase before they can sell to make a passive income.
What country is that? You and others are probably lucky to have a government that actually cares for their people, especially the ones on the lower side of the economy who don't earn much to fight the increasing inflation and face a lot of problems when there is an economic crisis within the country, governments barely care about such people or try their best to fight the inflation.

And when it comes to investments in Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies, not a lot of governments in the world are in favor of their people investing their money into them as that will indirectly mean they are losing the power to have financial control over their people.
839  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀🎲⭐️LeeBet.io | $100,000 Grand Opening | Innovative i-Gaming Platform on: June 01, 2023, 01:26:30 PM
Well, it definitely isn't a very lucrative giveaway and they might have only planned it for their regular players and it isn't to attract more gamblers towards the platform because if that was the case, they could simply just give away $5 at once to each user a month for any amount of month they want to run the giveaway for, that would make it much better and more attractive.
Although I do not like their free cent promotion but I do not agree with your suggestion as if they give free $5 each month, it will be so easy to be abused because it has no requirement at all.
Imagine if they do as what you suggest, hundreds or maybe thousands of people will create so many accounts in order to get the free $5 then withdraw it as there is no minimum withdrawal amount + no withdrawal fee IIRC.
I think the better option is to have daily faucet with bigger amount like 5-10 cents so players can play few bets after claiming the faucet.
There can always be a way to tackle that and stop the abusers, they can set some limits or requirements like only 1 claim per IP address and no VPNs allowed, that way, the abusers won't be able to keep creating accounts and claiming free money. How many devices do you think a person can have access to only to claim a free bonus every month?

The faucet option is good as well, the point is, that if they are giving away something for free, it should at least be useful and make a gambler be able to try their platform out and place some bets, with this method of claiming a few cents every 90 minutes, it is tiresome and useless in my opinion.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any advice for invest my first 600$ in altcoins? on: May 31, 2023, 09:15:40 PM
Is it good to invest in HOOk, SUI , ARB or ID altcoins? Since they are new just thought to give a try. Thank you
I think SUI is good, investors and developers are very focused on this project. This project is only 46 days after listing on CMC. Just enter SUI because the price is still very affordable $ 1.19
SUI is a new Binance listed token And its marketcap is still very low so it may do well going forward but not strongly. But op's investing his entire $600 focusing only on SUI is high risk and should be looking at other altcoins as well. I'm very scared to invest in altcoins so I don't recommend it to anyone.  And for this reason I do not want to talk about any altcoin here.  Because I lost a lot of money by investing in altcoin without understanding
"Investing without understanding" is basically what makes it go wrong in the first place, you can't gamble with your money in the cryptocurrency market as it is not gambling if you want to gamble, it's simply better if you go play some slots which might give you a pretty high multiplier but investing in a project without any understanding or research will leave you with nothing.

Investing in new altcoins needs proper research and understanding of the projects and if someone thinks they can't do that, they should simply stick with the old and trusted ones like ETH, BNB, and some more that are doing well at the moment, and have been doing well in the past too.
