1581  Economy / Gambling / Re: Comparison between bitsler and stake on: June 13, 2022, 05:56:58 PM
Bistler is too big to be compared with stake, bistler is one of the oldest casinos to offer the bankroll option for the users to save their money and warn from the revenue of the site. I don't think stake has such features and coming from the angle of promotion both have done well as better and also have strong promotions when they were coming up back then.
I can`t agree with you. It is possible that bistler is older than stake, but it doesn`t mean the same time, that bistler better than stake because it is older. There are different features that makes stake interesting for gamblers and there are features that makes bistler interesting for another gamblers. I think that both casino are famous enough and they don`t need compare - they both have their gamblers which don`t want to change casino.
Same here because I think that stake casino is much bigger than bitsler. This one is obvious because we can see how big their promotions are and the number of players plus the amount of bonus that they are giving (it is possible to see it, if you are a member of their vip telegram group). What is only true here is that bistlser is older than stake but stake still manage to get the trust of the public despite of being a late comer on the gambling scene. Stake don't have an invest in bankroll feature but it's not a big deal.

@RILWAN if what you are saying is true that bitsler has a better promotion then why would the op come and complain here?
1582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are trading platforms useful? on: June 13, 2022, 01:49:20 PM
of course very useful mate!, but there are many trading platforms in the crypto currency world,
of course we have to follow only the best, such as OKX, FTX, Bitfinex, Coinbase and of course Binance,
you will feel safe if you trade there, and stay away from new platform, because many have been scammed
Those are quite important places and they are "useful" in the sense that they are allowing us to do what we want to do. However, they are not useful to make money, they are just there to help us do what we want. Think about it this way, if you have a math book, you are not a math genius, you just have a book that helps you understand it better, but you still need to study it.

IMO, exchanges and trading platforms are the books, you need to study them and learn to be better, they are there as tools that will help you, but you are still required to be willing to do all of it in order to keep it going for a long time.
1583  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will Hit over 700% or $250k is this possible? on: June 12, 2022, 06:14:02 PM
Almost all people who know about Bitcoin, strongly believe that Bitcoin is the most promising future asset. Before this prediction was published, there were also those who predicted that Bitcoin would reach a price of $100k in 2022. For me, predicting the price of Bitcoin is very interesting, but let's not talk about the timing. Because people like us who believe in the future of Bitcoin don't need that. For me at this time what needs to be done is to buy according to the money available and hold it.
What about the haters and normal individuals that don't dig much deeper in btc? They already heard about btc but they don't thought of what you said. Only the solid btc supporters are the only one's that can think of that but yeah there are other better predictions that this one.

This is not the first and this is not going to be the last but the more the adoption we get the more the prediction that could  come about btc reaching a higher value. 100k for btc is still weak. Maybe you are not aware that there are experts that say's btc can reach 1 million dollars? But this is the one that can reach a decade or two and not the 250k that is said in the article.
1584  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Legendary Forumla of Dip = Opportunity on: June 11, 2022, 03:51:06 PM
Trusting those stable coins after Luna crash is not at all good decision and the owner of funds has cashed out millions already and his Twitter profile going private giving clear signs of rug making the market loose badly and also some mentally sick due to big loss. This might happen with some other stable coin also so for me it's not going to work anymore but yes investment in btc is surely wise moves especially during these dips contrary to those are selling at this time.Just holding them not trading for long term is best solution for me.
It has always been a complaint about stable coins, take for example I can remember that a lot of people used to complain about USDT, until today there are still people complaining about how it is not fully backed by the US dollar, but by some other assets that the company owns or whatever. So in a case like this, maybe considering the stable coins which are decentralized might be a better option.

But as for me, I haven’t really made use of any stable coin, I’m always making use of Bitcoin, ethereum, and a few other cryptocurrencies that I feel are reliable, and no stable coin is on the list. But if anyone should be considering a stable coin, then I might say that DAI, which is a decentralized stable coin would be a good option here.
1585  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment? on: June 11, 2022, 01:46:36 PM
...
Since entering starting in May the price of bitcoin has continued to decline very deeply. Even the price of bitcoin is currently trading in the $30k-$29k price range. Therefore it seems that bitcoin is difficult to hit the $50k price target in June even to get back to the $40k area it's still difficult.
if you look at the price of bitcoin from a short term perspective (june) then Bitcoin will not be possible to reach that price ($50k)...
The first half of June is still not finished yet, and what if the price the next couple of days can rise above 30 to 35k? That will now be easy for btc to reach 50k as soon as the rise is continuous but if not June then we still have July and so on. We aren't rushing anyway so btc can always take its time. When it comes to the reason why people invest in btc.

I think the number one right now is because of its value that can potentially increase by up to a million dollar per one btc but before, the main reason why people invest is because they can feel freedom with it, which is very different from the fiat that is controlled by banks and governments.
1586  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you know how to trust online sportsbooks? on: June 10, 2022, 02:48:06 PM
first of all a site should have a license. if it possible I take a look about "privacy" and "about us" or other text (just be sure they have inserted useful information and it's not a mere copy paste from other platform).
I made a research online to verify and read scam accusations (I know that most of the site have some accusations but it's interesting understand why people are complaining).
Last but not least, I have a look on their topic in bitcointalk. If they have any promotion active or any kind of marketing.
What if you found out that they have a marketing/promotions on going on bitcointalk, what impression you would give? I supposed good? But you should rework that because there are also scam sites that are being advertised here 1xbit for example but there might be some others which I am not aware of but I guess you will still find the truth about them later on because I can see how careful you are before you try any sportsbook.

Having a license is also one of my bucket list but unlike you I don't take the time to read the privacy page, I don't know why but I know that they are also important and it has something to do with our data's. For the about us, I sometimes read this. Reading this will allow us to know the vision and mission of the sportsbook and also if they are connected to some other sportsbook or gambling sites.
1587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you educate petty traders in adopting Bitcoin? on: June 10, 2022, 05:48:32 AM
What's your opinion in educating these petty traders and letting them know more about Bitcoin because  I believe this is amongst the grassroot adoption which starts from the base as they do transact more often than some of the big companies we hear of. Although the petty traders do little amount but it is most often on daily basis.
What steps would you take in drawing the attention of the traders to Bitcoin?
Some vendors that you see in the street may look like they are poor but they are actually rich. They have a better house, have cars and their family live comfortably and they all achieved this because of their business so they are also part of the top class citizens in the society.

I believe that they already know bitcoin and maybe some of them are willing to accept btc if that is what is demanded by their customers but for those who are uneducated, they are the ones that we should be concerned of because they may not heard of btc before. We can educate them by simply telling them what is btc and what is its use and maybe do some actual demonstration.
1588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Well, you put your money in your luna if it gets forked? on: June 09, 2022, 08:23:20 PM
If you are ready to bear the risk then there is nothing wrong with trying, because at this time the recovery is indeed happening and the price is starting to increase again, but some investors still feel doubts about the coin because the decline that occurs is very large so the confidence to rise is very difficult to happen, but we just see the developments for the future hopefully big changes can occur.
I think one to two mistakes is already enough but more than that is not good anymore because it just shows that you did not learn anything but you are still like a fool believing on someone's promise even if they already did a mistake before. There might be some recovery but that was only small compared to what it's lost and I don't think its old price will come back because of some many factors like the supply and trust of the people and also the exchangers.

So, what if luna gets forked. What will be its role? To recover what the old investors have lost? LoL. That generous then but no it is not as simple as that. Some are given an airdrop but the amount is too tiny. Investors are still the ones that will put money and expect for the coin to have a different faith than the other one.
1589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you spread BTC to people within you on: June 09, 2022, 06:55:21 PM
As a lover of Bitcoin how do you spread Bitcoin, i mean how do you tell people about Bitcoin and it's adoptions?
I have been able to start up the first bitcoin book club in my city with a couple of my friends. Some months ago I talked to my parents about bitcoin. I regularly post short videos and pictures about bitcoin on my WhatsApp status. One other thing I'm trying to do in my community is translating bitcoin materials and resources into our local languages. The goals is not to shove it down their throats but to help them understand what this new innovation is one step at a time.
Oh was it you who created a thread about bitcoin book club here in bitcointalk? I read it last time but you better include that link on this reply so that many people can find it out. Anyway I like your initiative there. That seem to be the best answer in the op's question because you're not only spreading the word btc to your friends and family members but you are trying to spread it in the people on your own city/country.

Another thing that I like is you are taking time to translate your materials but for the many, they mainly use the English language but not all can understand English properly and there are terms that are hard, so it is important to explain it on our own local language.
1590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Is A Scam Like Terra Luna And Only Makes Millionaires Rich Who Hold 1000ETH on: June 09, 2022, 04:08:10 PM
I think ethereum will drop back around 1200 to 1350.. from studying the Fibonacci retracement over the recent years.  Ofcourse I can’t gurantee it. But I just think it’s substantially possible.
I know people have lost a lot more than me, but I’m not a rich man.  I put most of my money in these things and it’s halved.  I’m holding because I have no choice.
But it is not the question here instead it is about the comparison of Ethereum and Terra Luna and this is a different currency and a different project in which also has different supporters and this is the reality here.
Ethereum is a long run currency now while LUNA is just a scam project that exposed recently.
so there is no a like from these 2 .
Maybe he is trying to say that eth is following the path of luna because it will still drop a lot? But he shouldn't speculate like that because he himself invests invest on eth. Instead what he must do is try to be more positive. Eth and luna are both the same, they are cryptos and they are altcoins but they are different in terms of credibility as one if just a scam while the other is legit though there are some people that think eth is a scam coin.

Well, if that is what they think about then no problem but we who believe in eth can just close our ears. We know to ourselves if what is a true scam coin and what is a legit coin. They will only regret it soon once they see the big improvements coming from this coin.
1591  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Cryptocurrency for 1 Week! on: June 09, 2022, 08:54:23 AM
Honestly, if someone could turn such a small amount into something valuable, that would have been awesome, but it is not a long term solution at all. I always thought about doing something similar, like shoot videos of 1 hour size, where I trade, and I do not have to keep it a live video, meaning I could have like 10 times a day where I try to do 1 hour of trading, and whichever one I made the most profit, I will publish that.

Each and everyday that would be done to show how I could profit. When in reality, behind the scenes, I had 9 other tries where I may have lost some money. This could be done, and I am not doing it because it is unethical.
It is possible. There are lots of stories that I've heard and seen on the past where they can be able to turn a small amount of money into a big one. It was only about consistency, and doing a lot of trial and error till they finally make it.

Watching it live would have been better because we can saw the actual moves he is doing and we can see if he did make a mistake or a lose but the only downside is, it is going to be consuming in terms of internet data, electricity, storage/ram, and others. That would be the reason why he recorded the video instead and do some massive cutouts because it was a whole week of crypto trading.
1592  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin drops to $8k on: June 09, 2022, 07:42:51 AM
There could be a strong support at $26000, but the strong support we notice now is even higher than $26000 because bitcoin only got to that $26000 only once and it was like two months ago and has been seen a strong support at $27000 to $30000 ever since that time. But that does not mean bitcoin price can not decrease further but I believe the $3800 of 2019 and 2020 which was lowest bitcoin price after 2017 ATH may be the $19000 or $20000 of this time, but we are only guessing this though.
I get that people are looking at 26k as a strong support, but the reality is that we are looking at something that would be quite beneficial for us in the long run if we just look at the 30k level. Even if it goes under that, which it does sometimes, it doesn't really end up with a bad result for a long time, it just gets up from there to a higher level.

This is why I personally believe that we won't be under 30k too much, and not for too long. It may happen time to time, but that's about it and we will recover. So all in all, the best way to make money would be to invest at around these prices, because the downside of it is not that big at all.
1593  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t rush to buy Bitcoin on: June 08, 2022, 06:11:11 PM
The thing is, it may not go up like he said, but it may as well, that's the thing. Nobody can guarantee us that price won't be 50k this month, I am not saying that it will be 50k this month because none of us know that but we do not know it won't either. So, why not just buy it if you think that it won't drop too much. That way you could decide on what's going to happen, and you will make a good amount of profit in the long run as well.

Buying right now means there is a very very small chance that you will lose your money, and a big big chance that you could make profit. This is why I believe that he is right, maybe his timing could be wrong, but the idea is right.
This is basically the reason why we are speculating in the crypto world. If we knew exactly what it would do, then we wouldn't be guessing and losing money, we would be just doing whatever we want. But, we all know that it is not going to happen like that, so we just try to speculate and see where the price will be.

This results with us trading with things that would be a lot better in the long run, and that means profits would happen when the price goes up, for most people. Sure there are "some" people who make profit by shorting when it goes down, but a lot more people profit when it goes up. So that is why we mainly focus on when it will go up.
1594  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: June 08, 2022, 03:43:44 PM
It is not hidden, but maybe they did not announced publicly. As we all can see here https://help.stake.com/en/articles/4821738-what-is-rakeback-how-it-works-and-how-to-get-it and as confirmed by live support, the rakeback is now 5% only. The same information is also available under the VIP club page, but the information about when it is changed is available in the help center page. The article about rakeback is updated this week. Anyway, I dont understand why Stake cut it 50% off, but I think it may affect some players and may leave Stake because of this change.
Don't know what to say now, but it is a tricky move from Stake team. And they have done it really bad. The rakeback was 10% since the beginning. Suddenly they have reduced the rakeback rate by 50% without informing the users. At the same time they have increased the weekly bonus amount by 50% (up to) and announced it on the telegram VIP channel. Basically, they aren't giving anything extra. This change will bring benefits for Stake actually. The rakeback amount was promised one for every VIP user, but there is no guarantee that everyone will receive 50% extra on the weekly bonus amount.
It could happen, there could be some giving free stuff that change time to time, we just need to understand it and accept it and move on. I get that it could be upsetting, but casinos needs to realize they are there for profit making, and the best option they will have is the way they will go.

So, if dropping one thing 50%, and increasing another 50% gives them a better return, then it would definitely be the path for them, why not pick the most profitable thing? They probably calculate how many people would leave if they do such a thing, and realized that it wouldn't be really that much of importance, and went with it, and we as gamblers need to accept that.
1595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Mantra After, while playing And Before You Gamble on: June 08, 2022, 02:15:52 PM
This is often the setup in gambling community. And i believe it would be best if people would really gamble based on their capability not only mentally, but financially. If a person don't have much and just only a few spare of money to gamble, then he must know the consequences because gambling has its risks. One must be very careful in placing a bet and choosing the game to play.

Meanwhile, if a person have much to spare, it will be up to them whether they will gamble for fun or they will gamble for profit in mind. Of course, this should still be taken with risk management in mind so that they won't end up empty handed and bankrupt later on.
Yes, that is right. Wanting too much is bad and can lead them to dangers. If we are not wealthy, we can just accept it and don't try harder to get rich only with gambling. We can just stick with betting low and use gambling as a form of entertainment as we can feel a lot better this way than always aiming to win which isn't possible and can only lead us to have a bad mood.

Usually people that have lots of money, will try to make more money so they will play for profit but there might be some that are already contented on their wealth so they will only play for fun and by this, there is no need for them to deposit in bigger amounts.
1596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC & ETH Trends for the week on: June 08, 2022, 10:53:25 AM
I got a lot at $133. Converted my all  Shitcoin to etherium. Eth is likely the future because of new Usecase. Eth and the Erc 20 tokens will long time remain coins. Maybe some countries can back their fiat with bitcoin , Etherium and Litecoin . I hope Etherium and BTC will remain in top always.
Nice that you still got a decent money out of your shitcoins but what about the fees, are you disregarding it? My guess is you also have paid close to 50 dollars and maybe higher than that if you sell different kinds. Im too unfortunate that my shitcoins didn't cost even 5 dollars but what would I expect, they are shit anyway but moving on, you did a good job there for choosing eth over the real shitcoin.

Don't know about that new use case you are talking about. Did I miss something? I don't think so, I am active here in this space but that is true that eth is the future of money together with btc. Don't worry, btc and eth will always remain at the top. No other coins can shake them.
1597  Economy / Gambling / Re: 500 CASINO 🚀 Play with BNB ⚽️ SPORTSBOOK 🎡 Wheel & Casino 💰 No-Sticky Bonus on: June 08, 2022, 09:01:26 AM
Thats huge winning and I just can't believe it! (eye balls out! lolz). How can anyone be winning this much money and walk with it. Its just huge man.

Interesting casino but honestly I never saw much buzz about 500casino site. I think you guys are missing announcements and promotions and games and rounds section a lot. The game site is really nice and the color tone is just perfect for professional casino.

You guys should be promoting the casino a lot since you have huge selection of slots. The 3000+ slots caught my eye in the first place. Good to see you guys also have streamer competition, that's the one place where parties begin. Cool. Good luck.
To me it is not shocking anymore. The winning is huge because the bets are also huge and then the multiplier is also a little higher. I think what can overwhelmed me more is seeing a small bet and then a multiplier of over 10k because that wins are the ones that are rare to come. For you to win big, is of course you need to risk betting in higher multipliers or bet more bigger amounts as much as possible. You only need to prepare to lose big though.

If I am not mistaken, this casino was being promoted here before via sig campaigns. It helps them somehow since a lot of users are now familiar with them and maybe they are satisfied with the results already because they didn't do it again.
1598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 08, 2022, 07:28:16 AM
I am not disputing the fact that Wilfred Ndidi is a good defensive midfielder fit for Ten Hag's Manchester United team. What I meant is that every manager has a system and different systems requires different type of players to fit into the plan. Ten Hag's type of midfield 3 requires a controller, a 6, and a creator. If you could remember his Ajax team when they got to the semi finals in the Uefa Champions league, the midfield 3 consisted of Frankie De Jong, Van de Beek and Schone. Frankie De Jong was the 6. He was the sitter. That is how Ten Hag wants to builds his team, around a No 6 like Frankie De Jong. That is why you could see that he wants to bring him back to Manchester united.
I agree that Ndidi may not fit the system Erik Ten Hag has, he needs a player that could control the ball a lot more. But not like he is going to be able to buy out Kante, which would be the most perfect fit ever for him, but that's not available.

I assume that he is still considering the De Jong transfer though, don't know what's going to happen with that but looking at how Barcelona is in a dire financial crisis right now, offering a good amount would mean that you could definitely buy any player from them. De Jong didn't really play well enough to be irreplaceable for them neither, he was good, he was really good, but not like a superstar levels of player.
1599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good time to start accepting BTC? on: June 07, 2022, 09:55:24 PM
This could really work out only if the owner will get the perfect balance of bitcoin and fiat payment. In a business, most particularly with stores that offer products, the owner is required to restock so that the customers can have a wide variety of options to choose from. If most payment would be in crypto, he won't be able to buy immediately the things needed in the store because he first have to exchange it.

Hence, it should be balanced. Or at least have a margin for every bitcoin payment so that you won't be the one losing if ever you'll have to pay for transaction fee for converting it back in fiat. This will also serve as your bounce back if ever bitcoin will suddenly decrease in price.
You could always have USDT or BUSD or any other stablecoin directly converted system? I mean that way the owner would be able to accept 100+ different coins, which is awesome for the offer, and I did it, I accepted 100+ different coins when I was selling something. Then what happened? I just clicked a button that said "automatically convert to USDT" and that was it. Then I was able to pay the person I got the item, buy more, and resell it again and again.

Turned 1 item that I bought into 73 of them in my hand at some point, without spending a single dime, all paid by the customers I sold to, all automated converted into usdt. After that I stopped and just got rid of the inventory for very cheap and went back to my original job which is writing, and I love it.
1600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 07, 2022, 09:43:04 PM
With the limitations that Barcelona now have, Xavi will of course be extra in selecting the players that the club really needs to reduce their spending figures in buying players. Actually, there is no need to be too big in recruiting players, it's just that choosing the right players is often difficult and many even fail with fantastic transfer prices. Of course we should see Xavi's performance in bringing in players, as he did when he brought Aubameyang.
I still think that there is a good chance we could see some younger players taking over for sure. I get that maybe that is not ideal situation, and they may prefer some older players that already proved themselves, but pedri, coming back, fati, gavi, araujo, torres all of these are super young players, and them taking over the team, instead of playing mainly busquets, pique, aubameyang and what not, would be a lot better.

They could go with the youth setup and find players from there. Why do they even have la masia, the most famous youth setup, if not for times like these where they can't spend money on transfers and need to pick up players from there?
