821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you donate Bitcoin for the poor and needy? on: December 24, 2017, 05:02:49 PM
The point is to keep a bitcoin separately for donation to the poor. Donating a bitcoin directly will make sense if the receiver is aware of the functioning of bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. A poor and / or needy man can be sometimes an educated man or a knowledgeable man who is struggling to meet his ends. Bitcoin can otherwise be encashed and given to the poor.

It is always better to think big. I would rather create a trust or try to invest in healthcare or education of a poor child. All quick helps will not last long. Educating one child by spending a $25000 or more will reap great benefits to the society in comparison with feeding a whole lot of people once with the same money. Though it is not bad to feed but it is better to invest in a system that more than once continually feeds.

Yes I will donate Bitcoin to the poor and needy the way I feel is best useful for them. One percentage of the income can always be set aside for donation. After all, life is short and it is best to help as much as we can.
Even if I did, what's the use? The needy people are the ones who are illiterate and don't have enough basic necessities. I'd rather donate them some food, clothes and some more basic amenities to the needy rather than handing out bitcoin outright, which they won't understand and throw it away and that amount of bitcoin too will join with the bitcoin that has been lost because of carelessness. So my answer is no.
822  Economy / Speculation / Re: Same Scenario like end of 2013? ( bitcoin crash ) on: December 24, 2017, 03:36:01 PM
Hello
i thought about the time in the past where the bitcoin was breaking the 1k ( increasing the chart from nov-dec ) and crashed back to aprox 250$.
do you think its the same right now?
its end of the year, maybe the hype about bitcoin is gone, new year is coming everything starts back from the beginning
The price bitcoin tried to break through was 20,000$. Considering the math you have rolled out here, the price went down by 75% in the crash of 2013. So if the price goes down now by 75% the price can go all the way to 5000$ perBTC. That's too much but it's possible, for people are claiming this to be the worst crash in history of bubbles.
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good time to buy Monero? on: December 23, 2017, 09:03:20 PM
I have invested in some of top 10 alts (except dash and BCH) and wondering if it is a good time to buy Monero?!
Your knowledge sharing is appreciated.
Today? No. Yesterday(22/12/2017-the date when the market crashed), yes. But is it too late to buy XMR? Depends on what you're planning to do with it. If you're buying it for a longer term, well good news for you, you can still buy it, store it in your hardware wallet. But if you're looking for a short term trade, then you can be faced with a possible sequence of circumstances which is too risky at the moment. Since it's XMR, I'd seriously like to suggest you to hold it for a long term, it'd be worth the time and the money. Cause you know how popular XMR is and how lit it's features are.
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Made Me Do It on: December 23, 2017, 08:30:45 PM
Ever since Bitcoin has become more recognized as possibly being the new currency of the world, it has been under major attack in the media. Just because criminals decide to use Bitcoin to do their "dirty work" does not mean that Bitcoin itself is the bad guy. The same argument could also be made about guns, it is not the guns fault that criminals decide to use it in order to commit crimes. The media is constantly pumping out news about how dangerous Bitcoin is. Where was the media when Pablo Escobar became the first billion dollar drug lord using fiat currency? I also don't remember the media coming down hard on the dollar when El Chapo established his empire as the second most powerful drug lord. Bitcoin did not cause these guys to commit crimes. Bitcoin did not make them do it.

When will the media back off on their attacks and stop blaming Bitcoin as the problem?
There's a simple reason why media did so. If journalists try to mock or say bull shit about drug lords, next day they are found dead with bullet marks all over their bodies. A similar incident happened just couple of days ago, where a YouTube comedian made fun of a drug lord and told him to "suck his dick". Next day he was found dead with more than 15 bullets found in his body. The media chooses to target bitcoin as it's prey because no one knows the real person behind bitcoin, a pseudonym isn't going to help here. Media also likes to scare the shit out of people, so why not go after bitcoin and screw some people's lives?
825  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to make a full recovery by year end? on: December 23, 2017, 08:09:22 PM
Prices have already recovered to $15k according to preev. So, is it possible for bitcoin prices to return to its $19k peak by year eand if we follow current trend. The prices were at about $13k yesterday and today its risen by $2k. If it rises like this everyday until the end of the year, we might even exceed the bitcoin peak.

One thing is clear though, all the doomsayers who claimed the bubble was popping are wrong. The recovery is clear and that drop was nothing short of a miscalculation by investors, who now realise their mistakes and are buying back bitcoins.
It recovered quickly to be honest than what was expected. While hundreds of people were speculating how many days will this "biggest bubble burst" continue for,the price recovered within a day's gap. This may be an indicator that the charts can go from a V-shaped one to a W-shaped one where the price will drop again and recover quickly yet again. Its a possibility not an assurance.
826  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I dont like daytrading on: December 23, 2017, 07:47:19 PM
Even though much profit can be made. And i did a bit. But truth is... i dont like it. It gives me a weird unpleasant feeling. Because to me its just swapping air if all u buy and sell for is money. I love crypto and to me it feels like daytrading is raping it. Ur not really standing behind the idea and product anymore. Im not hating on daytraders or anything. Just doesnt seem my thing. I allways had the same in poker, taking lunchmoney and the game is what its about to me. Whenever i played higher stakes it just didnt felt right and even when i won a nice bit it even depressed me.
WHAT??  You have got to be kidding.  Cry Trading is bę bruh. I don't know why you don't like trading but do think twice, investments are really essential for a person on a long run in order to at least cope up with long term expenditures. Invest now and you won't have to worry much in the future, where you have to shell out so much money on your kid's education and you have to build their entire life. Think again man, what if this time you end up liking it? Roll Eyes
827  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Bitcoin according to ...... on: December 23, 2017, 07:07:09 PM
We all know what real bitcoin is and what's the difference between bitcoin and it's forged coins. Now these so called 'real bitcoin' with various names starting with bitcoin cash to bitcoin uranium to bitcoin diamond. I obviously do not believe in any other coins with bitcoin as a predecessor except for bitcoin itself. Bitcoin cash by far has been the only one which I'd say is at least close to decent. But one thing is sure, come what may, bitcoin will be bitcoin and alts will be alts even if they have bitcoin as it's predecessor and bitcoin will dominate and will still be the one which the majority will prefer to use. So no one has to get confused here except for people to whom bitcoin is a complete stranger.
828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Blackout - No transactions on Christmas Eve! on: December 23, 2017, 05:47:52 PM
Such is impossible, here's the reason: People are going to dump bitcoin on Christmas or new year's Eve and flee to some place where they can spend their weekend peacefully. Bitcoin blackout if in case it ever happens it'd be countered immediately by whales and traders. So why think of such a ridicule. But still just for the sole reason of not to degrade you, I wish you luck  Smiley.
829  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitcoin transaction problem on: December 22, 2017, 09:52:34 PM
Hi guys, I have transfered some money from blockchain.info to bittrex. Its almost 24 hours and still 0 confirms. I paid really big fee, more than 20 GBP. Blockchain.info is also showing me that "amount of transaction while send 2GBP". But there is pending deposit on bittrex showing me right amount. So should I wait? Or what is going on? This was probably biggest fee I have paid for money transfer ever.
The fee was high, the price was high, so your problem is defined. The reason why your transaction has no confirmations because a lot of transactions have been pending in the mempool and the lighting network is yet to be introduced to resolve the transaction fee and confirmation time issue. Either you can wait or try accelerating your transaction in antpool's free service.
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Ethereum will hit $1,000? on: December 22, 2017, 09:21:52 PM
If so, when?
Patience is the key. You can wait and see. The price is down due to the crash of the cryptos. In a time span of 6 months 1000$ per eth is possible. Eth has popular demand due to many reasons so there's no reason why ethereum cannot go to 1000$ ,it can go way higher.
831  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bubble Burst ? on: December 22, 2017, 08:38:11 PM
The Bitcoin correction seems too far and too quick . Hold ? Or sell and buy Bitcoin Cash? Or BTG or BTH? Any suggestions ?
Try trading if you have been only holding bitcoin till now? Believe me man, trading is lit as fuck. You can profit like hell during these type of situations wherein dumbasses panic sell, and traders buy smartly given you trade a coin which would be worth trading by considering various factors.
832  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How BITTREX try to scam his users: BE AWARE! on: December 22, 2017, 07:09:55 PM
This belongs in the scam accusations board.
I'm getting scared to make any more trades in bittrex, it's not enhanced account also.  Cry Man bittrex is good for trading, I haven't had any issues with it yet.
There are so many issues with bittrex and most of the exchange and I cannot do anything else but feel sorry for you. Hope you get your funds out of bittrex as soon as possible. Good luck to you.
Edit :- seems like your issue has been solved.
833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: xRP price in the next 24 hours prediction? on: December 21, 2017, 08:59:47 PM
What will be ripple price in the next 24 hours? What do you think guys? Will it drop or increase even more?  Huh
I say the price will rise more. The price is around 1.10$,the price can go to anywhere between 1.50-2$ per XRP. XRP has been so underrated since forever. It's time for people to understand its true potential.
XRP will be one of the most important coins in my portfolio and will belong to the list of the cryptos which I'll hold. Would suggest strongly to whoever has the stability to do so.
834  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you see the bitcoin economy 10 years from now? on: December 21, 2017, 08:03:32 PM
Bitcoin is growing fast and everyday a lot of people takes interest in this. I too started the other day and I am very willing to invest my time here. With that said, with the drastic growth of bitcoin worldwide, how do you see the bitcoin economy 10 years from now? Thank you as always.
These types of threads are being created everyday, and the forum is getting more and more spam with the majority saying the same shit over and over again. There is a search feature in the the forum ,use that for your ease. The answer to your question in simple language is that you can't say, it can be a bright one, it cannot be a bright one. A single person's opinion is not going to affect adversely, events determine the future. Stop wasting your time on silly questions, concentrate on more important and better things.
835  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Strong Sell Signal at breaking $16,000 on: December 21, 2017, 07:33:28 PM
MA, EMA, RSI indicators and weekly price change are all negative combined with increased trading volume.

http://cryptosignalz.com/bitcoin/
Damn the price has already gone to 15,200$ and the 16k$ support has already broken. The support is not backing up and BCH whales are also one of the reasons. Alts are rising in dollars and not in BTC. Sadly we only have one option and that would be to go with the flow.
836  Economy / Economics / Re: People are extremely biased towards bitcoin. on: December 21, 2017, 03:55:14 PM
Most people here and reddit will defend bitcoin no matter what instead of looking at the problems. Every time someone comments something about the speed or transaction fees they will just yell ''FUD'' or ''Another attack on bitcoin'' but it's not always that. I have been a strong supporter of bitcoin myself but we have to face it, it's not in a good position right now, sure the price is great but what else? Insane fees that are not getting solved any time soon? I know the demand is high but the ones that are buying are just buying to sell eventually not to support bitcoin, not to use it. The demand will eventually fade away and what do we have left? An outdated bitcoin that won't be able to compete with better coins.
Why not think of this, the reason for the rise in the fee is because of the price rise, miners want profit, bitcoin cash seems better to mine, so the reasons for the fee rise. The fees are high but so are the prices, can people not compensate and deal with the fee issue for now? Bitcoin may have competition but at the end the support for bitcoin is more than the support of any other coin and bitcoin will win easily.
837  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy the dip on: December 18, 2017, 04:49:20 AM
Classic retracement from first attempt to break $20,000. We already saw this before in other round numbers, happens sometime. Dip followed with nonsensical CME shorts FUD will be followed by a new ATH in a couple of days. Buy the dip or cry later, be warned.
The dip is most likely going to happen on new year's Eve or maybe a couple of days earlier. Until then there's firm and strong support. The support is backed by thousands with millions of dollars in their hands. But again buying during the dip would be profitable because it's bitcoin and no one would like to let down a wonderful opportunity.
838  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin contribution to world economy on: December 18, 2017, 04:46:17 AM
How do you think bitcoin will affect the world economy by 2028?
You can't say. It's bitcoin, you see, it is not easy to predict about. Expectations are obviously high but sometimes they are too high than what is required. Bitcoin will be vital for a decade but after that only time can tell what will happen.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Portfolio - Your Opinion? on: December 17, 2017, 08:05:34 PM
Hi all together,

please give me an advise about my current portfolio.

27% NEO
20% XBY
19 % EOS
12 % COMBI
5 % TRIA
11 % BTS
3 % SHIFT
3 % XBL

I have also some few KICK and GAS, but <1 percent.

Please show me hints or tricks how I can improve my Performance.

In the past few days, I also traded ADA and XLM, but ADA moved too quickly imo. I am also thinking about reducing NEO for XLM or STRAT

Thank you very much in advance.
Well, half of them are not that bad, and half of them are shit. Wait make that 30-70%. Neo is good, EOS, BTS are okayish, others are meh.
To be honest, this portfolio of yours ain't good, and I'd seriously suggest you to go for better altcoins. You can hold XLM and STRAT for some time if you want. Do your research, I'm sure you'll find quite a lot of good altcoins for you.
