821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This Smells Like Hypocrisy on: January 22, 2023, 11:53:53 PM
To me, this seems hypocritical. You claim that gambling is illegal, but you may bet on horse racing, Pachinko, bicycle racing, boat racing, and Mahjong, which baffles me. I do not seem to understand. Why is that so? You claim it is unlawful, yet wagering on games that are overseen by the government is not unlawful. Is this not hypocritical? What does the government fear?

I'm not fully aware of how gambling works in Japan but I don't see any hypocrisy here. They are not totally the whole gambling as 100% illegal.

In a gambling-friendly country, there's always legal gambling and illegal gambling.

Obviously, those legal gambling should only be patronized by their citizens. Their country, their rules.

When we play against player, surely there arise a question. Whether it is a real player or not? Maybe the confused mind itself keep your game down. Better is to enjoy the casino games that gives excitement as well as disappointment. My choice is Casino A and I'm surprised to see the voting is high for the Casino B.

This is always my concerned. PvP games are more prone to cheating and there's no way we can determine if we are up against a real human.

Like in chess games, there are lots of bots designed here and for average users, no way they can win against a bot.

Maybe the reputation of the platform will be the only basis if we are playing with fair competition in a certain PvP match.
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 22, 2023, 11:48:44 PM
I am still hesitant whether Inoue will dominate the 122 lbs unless he beats Casimero.  You can win the belt but unless you beat all the possible contender, there is no way to say that a boxer dominates that weight category since there is still 1 what if that is left which cause doubt in the mind of the boxing fans.

Bantamweight and SuperBantamweight don't really have much of a big difference. Inoue has a big chance of dominating the 122 lbs.

But John Riel Casimero as a basis for it? That was a pure non-sense argument. I like our own Casimero to face Inoue in the future and will support him obviously but for him to consider a big threat to Inoue seems not appropriate. Blame their camp because Casimero wasn't able to get the chance of facing Inoue in the Bantamweight.

As I mentioned, for that Casimero to be included in the discussion again, he just needs to keep on winnings until being recognized and moved up the rankings. There are lots of tough boxers in the 122 lbs aside from Inoue and those current champions.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: January 22, 2023, 11:40:11 PM
What do you think? is that 1.40 is still attractive to take or we will just bet on Inoue winning KO, probably that would give a better odds.

Since creating a big noise in his name in the world of boxing and later on called "The Monster", I don't remember Naoya Inoue being given a @1.4 odds by the bookies. He's always the Favorite but this time, that might be the highest odds I saw for him by the bookies.

To maximize the advantages of betting on Inoue though, better wait for other betting options.

As of now, the fight is still in the progress of finalizing everything but it's almost close to being done deal.

And with that age, comes Donaire's knowledge and experience, he might not have the speed just like when he was in his prime, however, his timing is still perfect for this division, that's why he was able to knock out younger boxer than him, until he hit a snag on a prime Inoue.

Since Moloney can't be compared to Inoue, the current performance of Donaire, at his current age, might still be effective on Moloney.

But still, I don't want to take Donaire's age as a hindrance. Moloney on the other hand isn't the Moloney before. Obviously, the quickness won't be the same in his prime but the point here is, that specialty of his didn't fade in an instant and he keep that even entering his veteran period.

Maybe the turning point of this match is, who will show a lack of stamina first where I believed Donaire will be at disadvantage if the fight last long.
826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: QUESTION: For Gambling Enthusiasts ❗❗ on: January 21, 2023, 03:55:55 PM
Does anyone know if there are actually any P Vs P games that players can put something at stake and compete against others to win the pot? I'm not talking about strictly gambling games like poker and alike, but more about the 'traditional' games like e.g. car racing etc

I believed referring to the crypto-gambling platform, there wasn't much demand or maybe close to zero. Not sure though.

But for the sake of giving some example, the 8-ball Mini pool (formerly in Miniclip) does have a tournament where users need to stake some chips (or gold?) where the real money is needed to purchase those.

Should be just for fun but there's a time that it's addictive as it can also be played locally between circles of friends with real money.
827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: January 21, 2023, 03:51:48 PM
i think this will be another repeat of mayweather-pacquiao history. their respective promoters will make a deal once their respective boxers are already past their prime.

The problem is, Terence Crawford doesn't have a well-strong established, and influenced promoter that is one of the keys to unlocking that possible clash with Spence Jr. Since no promoter, might be tough for Crawford's camp to negotiate about purse split even accepting up to 30% share. Since Spence Jr. is handled by a big and well-known promoter, they will do everything to make sure that all terms will be in favor of them since Spence Jr. is also considered the PPV King. Business as usual.

If the negotiation is between big promoters, let's say Top Rank and PBC, that fight might happen. But the worst is, when Top Rank during the time they handle Crawford, Arum has lots of sh*t of reasons why he didn't able to grant Crawford his much-awaited big title fight that result in the latter leaving under his shadow.
828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: January 21, 2023, 03:42:49 PM
Inoue is lucky that his path goes directly to challenging a champion, that's the benefit of being an undisputed champion in bantamweight division.

That's the most boxing fans want to see in the first place since I'm sure if this fight against Fulton won't be materialized, Bob Arum will surely receive some trash talk from his haters and obviously, these people will think that Bob is just saving his Japanese cash cow from hard and difficult fights.

Now that this fight is almost 99% deal, never seen any comments now on some discussions on the boxing social media pages referring to saving the a** of Inoue from facing strong and tough opponents.

As far as early predicted odds by some random analysts and sites are concerned, it seems Inoue will be the Favorite here.

The Bolts are 3-3 when McDaniels played for them as a replacement for their first import, O'Bryant. Not a good record at least for me, but good enough for him to be picked as the import of the Bolts again.

That might be a different story if McDaniels played from the very first game. When he came to Bolts, the team is already struggling. No choice for him but quickly adjusts to the current phase and try to form chemistry right away with his teammates in the mid-conference period.

Let's see if he still has that agility and speed as if everyone noticed, McDaniels' build becomes bulky making him more effective at the paint.

No other team has a resident import other than Ginebra so don't expect that they will get the same import on 2 consecutive conference.

The reason I have that thought in my mind that Rakocevic will be considered again as Magnolia's import for the long term is because, if I remember correctly, I encounter an article last year, during Magnolia's winning streak in the early games last conference, that the team might finally find "the one" referring to their future and possible resident import.

Although not that I'm really expecting at 100% as I'm truly aware that it's not that easy to just decide on that "one". Smiley
830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: January 20, 2023, 07:56:30 PM
How did it become possible to fight at 154 lbs when the title at stake was meant for 147 lbs? There's a current champion at 154 lbs so how this fight between Spence and Thurman will turned out? After the fight, like it will still consider as 147 lbs fight lol.

It become possible because WBC forced it to make it possible. Cheesy

Technically, the winner of this fight will hold a Welterweight Titles (147 lbs). It's just that both boxers compete for it at 154 lbs.

On the other hand, another big boxing organization WBA, in which Spence also holds its welterweight title, asked Spence to close a deal with Crawford within 60 days after the Keith Thurman fight.

Because of that, there's still a chance that Spence and Crawford will meet this year but the question is, will Spence fight Crawford at 147 lbs.
831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 20, 2023, 07:46:48 PM
He is wise indeed! But I'm really curious if the Los Angeles Lakers will be the end of his road and will be the team to officially retire his jersey because at the back of my mind, I'm also thinking that he might choose to retire with the Cleveland Cavaliers, where his home team is and where he get drafted. Anyway, we still have a few more years to enjoy LeBron James greatness, so let's cherish it while he's still active and hopefully he can add one more ring.

Next season, LeBron James will have his player option and no one knows if he will leave the Lakers or form a new contract with the team. I'm also not seeing him retiring in the Lakers jersey but there are things that might be the reason/s why he will stay with the Lakers until retirement.

First, LeBron's family is already settled in the Los Angeles Lakers. Bronny is also studying there and is part of the school's basketball team.

Second, Bronny might enter the NBA draft next season, and Los Angeles Lakers are the only team that might push on acquiring him as LeBron is hoping to play with his son, even just for a season.

Well then, we will see it all in the off-season.

Meralco - KJ McDaniels
Magnolia - Eric McCree

MERALCO
I hope KJ McDaniels this time will be able to finish his whole Governors Cup stint. Meralco was able to bounce back from the bottom standing when he takes over as the team's import last conference. Prior also to that, when he was on NLEX last time, the team do have a good position at the standing but he didn't able to finish that conference due to some priorities which are just reasonable as the league halted the operation several times during that conference because of the pandemic.

MAGNOLIA
I thought Nick Rakocevic will remain as their import this upcoming conference and will try to build the team with him in the long run. They even somehow pointed out before if I'm not mistaken. Even got injured during their early games last conference, Nick does have impressive stats. Magnolia should at least consider what Ginebra does to Brownlee before that even underperforming as an import during his early season in Ginebra, they trust the process and are now worth the risks. But maybe they see something special with Eric McCree.
833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: January 20, 2023, 07:22:26 PM
Even if Fulton is the champion, I don't see that he will be the one to give Inoue his first lost. He is not a heavy hitter in my opinion. His game plan was to play hard and grind, toe to toe. But that strategy won't work against Inoue because once Inoue touches that chin, Fulton might go down.

I remember when I shared this Bob Arum's statement before about the possibility of a clash between Inoue and Fulton in the future if the former will decide to move up weight if he wins the bantamweight unification against Paul Butler;

"It’s Cruel And Unusual Punishment To Ask Anybody To Fight Inoue"

Some critics against Arum described that statement as he's just protecting Inoue that's why he can't answer directly if he will allow that to happen. These critics think that Fulton will stop Inoue's stardom that's why Arum can't provide a definite response.

Now that this fight is now materialized, and a rare situation where both Top Rank and TGB agree to do business, these critics that favor Fulton got what their want. I also not seeing Fulton will be the first boxer to give the Japanese monster's first defeat.

Halatang may iniinda pa talaga at di pa 100%. Tintry naman niyang tumira ng tumira pero di makuha iyong usual rhythm niya.

Pero kahit malas the whole game, iyong importanteng clutch shot naman nadali niya hehe kaya ayun nanalo sila.
835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 20, 2023, 06:48:29 PM
He still got a shot and I believe that he can still reign once more before hanging his gloves, which I also do think that's what he wanted to do too.

Adding to that, his plans were just focused on a title match. He didn't consider fighting again at the bottom.

He truly knows that fighting again at the bottom or a non-title fight doesn't make sense and it's good to just hang his gloves instead.

Both of his plans are title matches;

- returning to 115 lbs and facing the champion
- returning to 118 lbs if Inoue will move up and fight for the vacant title

Since he still sits at top of the rankings even after losing to Inoue, he is eligible for both.

PVP gaming is really a thing but only for those who are skilled enough in that particular and specific game.

Not all do have those skills that's why others preferred just playing the usual casino games and find their luck. PVP type of gaming is also for experienced ones that a pre-knowledge about the game is really necessary before anyone wants to compete with others with stake money.

There are also games that might be prone to some cheats or any sort of game bot e.g chess, checkers, pool, billiards etc. and we don't know if we are against a real human or a bot.
837  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin balik 20k$ na ulet. Bear? on: January 20, 2023, 06:37:03 PM

Go with the flow na lang kabayan at kung posible, ipagpatuloy lang ang pag-accumulate kung ang goal is to hodl for long.

Much better, for the meantime na iconsider ang recent price movement as a normal day in the market.

Chupagetti

Nakakadismaya itong si Terence Lallave also known as Chupagetti .

839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 20, 2023, 12:54:07 AM
There is this thing about shopping and airlines that when you check and forget, they send you bonus or discount for your possible shopping/trip. Same holds true for casinos, if you just register and leave they will send you some bonus to get you started playing.

Register then just leave? What's the point of registering?

Or maybe you think just by leaving the account after registering, there should be a bonus? Did I understand it right?

About the bonus though, yes there is but don't always expect that. You really need to make some deposits to get started. Aside from that, always keep in mind that bonuses always come and are associated with certain terms, and expect that you will really need to spend money in your own pocket to be eligible.
