8261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS] Google Bought Blockchain.info on: June 25, 2017, 10:28:39 AM
This is truly an uplifting news for bitcoin clients and we will see a huge cost increment these coming months. what's more, i think today is a decent time to purchase bitcoins before its late google will attempting to spread and advancing bitcoin everywhere throughout the web since google is a major organization it can be help a considerable measure to get more impression and to get more trust from individuals
It is really a misleading thread title, blockchain just invited investment from venture capitalist and this is not the first time they are doing that and this time around they raised over $40 million, that does not mean that google has anything to do with blockchain.info, Tongue the capital raised will be used mainly for research and development and they will expand to other countries, basically they are looking for expansion.

Some people who are in this forum just joke and make a title that does not make sense ,.
They are just looking for a thrill so that their thread has many readers.
Because it is very unreasonable to say that google Bought Blockchain.info.

Agree with you about this. It's very boring to read such topics. Not to say the ones that have been posted multiple times already with near the same title or spun to make it like it's new. And then we read the same posts again and again without something new. For exemple topics like
"is bitcoin used by terorrists" "is bitcoin used by ISIS" "is bitcoin used for criminal activity
8262  Economy / Economics / Re: Felicia (Sony) Adding Bitcoin Hardware Wallets on: June 25, 2017, 12:56:19 AM
...

High Japanese quality would likely mean nice acceptance of a Sony hardware wallet.  And the Japanese know how to produce in great quantity, that alone would (probably) help push down the price of BTC hardware wallets.

Let's see if Korea's Samsung Electronics jumps into that space too.  If Samsung and Japan start mass production, that would be a very good sign that heavy-hitters think that BTC will be big.

I've always wondered why Samsung never jumped into the Bitcoin mining machine market...  It *seems* like they would crush all the smaller manufacturers.

Samsung is focusing on others priorities and mining machine is not enough big for an empire like samsung. Unless it's not mainstream, they are not going to expand in this niche. A mass production could be very good, but there is not a market enough big to start a mass production

I hope that the Felica Bitcoin Hardware Wallet will be much more affordable than the other hardware wallets, such as Trezor. I badly wanted to purchase one Trezor wallet, but had to give up that idea as it costs around $100. There is no point in purchasing a wallet worth $100 to store $300 worth of coins.

Have you ever considered a LedgerWallet? The cheapest is ~70€ (But to store 300$ it is still useless I admit)
8263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still faster than Paypal. on: June 24, 2017, 09:52:52 PM
The main reason for paypal problem is they are not supporting the users rights properly, if someone genuinely does transaction and if he got scam of charge back then paypal dont go through genuinely. Paypal ban the user account without prior notice and even dont respond their query.
I understand your frustration with PayPal, but let's be objective. Transaction bitcoin also can not protect you from fraud. Speed of transfer bitcoin also depends on transit fees. I transferred bitcoins for 5 minutes. It's just a different system and cannot be compared. You can use Payza if you do not like PayPal. There is a possibility of payment in bitcoin.

Paypal is just a kind of outdated payment, I'm sure in the end they will disappear or more closer to the crypto transaction. In this case Peter Thiel continues to express appreciation of bitcoin, Paypal has many shortcomings and can not match the bitcoin. The various cases that befell such as on LR is enough to make my interest lost to paypal.

Outdated ? Go to visit Paypal Lab and you will be very surprised to see how Paypal is advanced regarding technology. Paypal Lab is already 2025-2030. In fact Paypal is so advanced that they have their own algorithm that is now used by some governments.
Online banking incrased with the years by a very high percentage, making Paypal totally relevant to this days where most banks prefer now investing in online banking.
You can't compare Paypal and Bitcoin, I don't know why people keep comparing both. Paypal is a payment processor Bitcoin is a (crypto) currency. It's like comparing a car with gaz
8264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin started taking capsule hotels in Japan on: June 24, 2017, 07:41:20 PM
I saw a video about this hotel. Look very futuristic. I don't know how much it cost but for sure it is not for me. The capsule look like a box for the cats when you travel. I assume the price is high so for a high price I would prefer to have a nice bedroom is a hotel with sauna, slaves, ect. Not a box where if your fart your neighboor can hear you

It is the perfect exemple that show how it's good to use an email wich you own the domain, specially when you use it with websites related to money. If an email is gone or something else, then you can end with similar situation as your, and it can be worst. When you own your domain you don't have to worry about to see it gone or else. If you have a problem with hosting then you can just move the hosting. Not to say you can host your email for free. I hope you will be able to get your problem solved
8266  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: can I buy bitcoin with Epay? on: June 23, 2017, 07:05:42 PM
Hi guys, I want to buy bitcoins, but I do not know where i should go to buy, because many platforms have a high fee, so recently I heard Epay also sells bitcoin, but I do not know if I should believe it. Maybe someone can give me some suggestion. Look forward to a reply, thanks!

You work for Epay....If you don't know the services offered by your company then you have no place there.
Please stop to think that people on this forum are all idiots. I know you use the same methods in others forums as well. I am so tired with Epay and their cheap methods for trying to promote their site.

Look at your profile if you don't remember what you did

8267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: Satoshi Nakamoto Is Dead!!! on: June 23, 2017, 06:20:30 PM
I think nothing would happen if a day we discover that Satoshi is dead. Bitcoin is now already running since "long time" that such thing will have no effect, at least in the long run. Maybe for a week or two, we will see all the bla bla bla on the news, wich may impact the value/volume but after this the stones will continue  rolling. The same will be if a day we see Satoshi comes back. Whereever he is, I hope he is going good

ALIBABA TO ACCEPT BITCOIN BEFORE AMAZON & OTHERS

There is a large difference between a poll result and an official statement from a company. And because people have an opinion, it's not going to force the company to do anything just to make people who answered to the poll happy. A poll result has a very
low importance as long you don't know about the audience (age, country, and others criterias). And more less when it's run on Twitter
8269  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Mistertango - Bitcoin friendly European Bank Account + free MasterCard on: June 22, 2017, 10:02:35 PM
I just registered and verified, and things are looking smooth!

Verified that it's IBAN

Results here:
Code:
SEPA DIRECT DEBIT	NO

A bit confused with this line. Does it mean you can't for exemple pay the bills that are automatically charged from your account?
Then all outgoing transactions can be done manually only? If you can clarify
8270  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] www.bitpanda.com Buy/Sell Bitcoins VISA MASTERCARD NETELLER SKRILL SOFORT on: June 22, 2017, 09:50:56 PM
I remember to see Amazon.de code for selling bitcoin, I wonder if you're planning to add other as well (amazon.es .it .fr.uk).
One member is mentionning payoneer, wich i could be interesed in, but don"t see it on the sell page option (https://www.bitpanda.com/trades/sell) Or the guy is using the sepa method and giving payoneer IBAN (if i remember payoneer users can hava their own iban upon request)

edit: i see now he says they returned payment back cause they dont support bitcoin payment services  Sad
8271  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mixer for safety on: June 21, 2017, 11:13:12 PM
Bitcoin Mixers are not so effective as you may think. In fact it's not effective at all for people with ressources. Of course Mixers are not going to tell you this. Maybe for the average Joe but remember the blockchain is fully open. Using a Mixer you create a fingerprint and you can be traced (really). Another thing is you can be mixed with stolen coin, then I let you imagine what can be the next

8273  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best Bitcoin debit card, real users experiences pls on: June 21, 2017, 12:42:49 PM
Hey guys,

I d like to get Bitcoin debit card. What is your preferable choice and why? Pls dont point this thread towards some paid promotion or comparisons thread, I d like to hear recent experiences from real users in terms of price, availability, quality of support, etc.

Thx a lot

I still don`t get it.What`s the point of having a bitcoin debit card?
Can you use it somewhere to buy stuff offline with your bitcoins?
Are there any merchants that accept such bitcoin debit cards?
Is it more secure than just holding your bitcoins on a paper wallet?
I just don`t understand why the forum members here continue to ask about btc debit/credit cards.

It's because then you can use your Bitcoins for buying real stuff and services ofline and online not to worry if merchant accepts Bitcoins or not. These are usualy Visa or Master cards that are accepted everywhere in the world. And this is also the easiest way to get fiat money because you can withdraw cash at ATMs.
It's funny how people such a long time after Bitcoin debit cards are available are still asking these questions.

And the funny thing is that you haven't answered yet .. why?
Why would you entrust a 3rd party with your coins.
Why would you use a card that actually converts your coins to fiat every time you make a purchase (that's not paying with bitcoins).
Why would you use a card that has fees twice or 3 times as much as the normal fiat cards.
Why take all the risks and the extra cost?

- The same reason about why would you trust an online wallet
- Because it's more easy for some. For exemple if i want to buy something, I load my card and buy. Otherwise i will have to sell the bitcoin online in an exchange, then request a bank transfer, get the money in my bank after 24 h. Using the card I can buy within minutes
- Because some people simply can't sell their bitcoin on exchanges and then request a bank transfer
- Because some people don't want their bank see some transactions related with bitcoin companies
- Fees are not high, of course if you try to get 10$ from ATM and pay 2.5$ it's no sense, but some people don't care. Who car to pay 1$ to load 2000$ on your card

Have you see their promo video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbi7cOy5zqY I find it very professionnal
@Arpetuos totally agree with you with decentralized exchanges.
8275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: June 21, 2017, 11:37:16 AM
The fees ! It becomes just crazy and with no sense to pay something like 5$ for a transaction. When you are sending 1BTC ok you can say who care (I do) but when you are sending 0.01BTC and pay 0.002 this is something else. Promoting bitcoin with a selling point "bitcoin is cheap to send" doesn't work anymore
8276  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can't find an exchange that deals with XMR and permits NY residents to register on: June 21, 2017, 09:15:24 AM
XMR is listed on Kraken but I am not aware if NY residents are allwed or not. If you haven't tried it may be good to check it.
It sucks that some states are acting like this. I know an owner of an INTL website quite large in north carolina he is looking since several months a solution so he can pay people with bitcoin but facing the same problem as your

Most of my time i spend it to manual traffic exchange easyhits4u and wonder if is any campaign to send you a huge traffic to your sites.

Pure garbage traffic, no one is his right mind would be interested with incentived traffic that is full of bots or zombies clicking all the day long and not even watching what they are surfing.

@SolarisDev Good job with the new wallet for Mac OS, I hope more to come Grin

@dutch_loneranger thanks for telling me, so you're doing good with Solaris. I am a little jealous Grin I know that Solaris is good to mine, but I have always skipped the "how to mine crypto" now I start to regret Cheesy

If you don't know, this is one of the best quality traffic exchange without any bots.

I have make a quick search and i haven't found any tweets from you can you post your twitter account with your tweets?

I know very well the site since years, the traffic is worse than PTC traffic Cheesy. And don't say no bots because there are a lot of it
Of course I can post my Twitter account and tweets but I won't. You can use twitter advanced search operator if you have problem to find something/someone

My first incoming Bitcoin Transaction: +0,000102 BTC March 21 2014 I know it's a very small transaction but wee all need to start somewhere right Cheesy It comes from a-ads.com An ads network. When I started using it I wasn't much interested in Bitcoin but more in the a-ads.com system and how they work
