Looking tough now... Shami ruined all the excitement for windies.
Suddenly all entertainment gone now checking for some other way because its one sided game Shami kills dreams. I wouldn't say that this was a one sided match. When Pooram was hitting the ball like crazy alongside Hope there was a chance for WI to win this match irrespective of the huge target. Once Pooram is gone, there is nothing much to expect out of this game. Looks like Pollard's wicket is the first instance of both captains getting dismissed for Golden Duck in the same ODI

Shami gives the breakthrough which was needed for India. Pooram was looking dangerous of the two and now that he is gone. India once again got the chance to build some pressure to the WI batsmen Edit: Pollard Gone too.. Shami on a hat trick Missed.

My question is,will there be an change on CAB if protest goes that big?
Nothing is going to change because of the mass protest. Supreme court might set aside the act as it is unconstitutional. But I am sure that Modi and Amit Shah were already aware about the possibility of a judicial review, when they passed the unconstitutional bill. IMHO, they aren't even interested in giving citizenship to the refugees as they claim to be, all they are interested is the vote bank.. 95+ crore Hindus and 5+ crore other religious members (Christians, Sikhs, Jains, Parsis and Bhuddists). To these communities, now Modi and Amit Shah are their saviours. Even if SC strikes down CAB, Modi and Amit Shah will be happy as they have achieved their hidden agenda.

So the test match between NZ and AUS is going to be after Christmas on 26 Dec and the first test between ENG and SA is also starting on that day. I really am not happy with how the first test match ended but I hope NZ comeback hard and avoid further defeats.

When you exempt the Muslims from the bill.
its for minorities of those 3 countries now can you tell me one thing, if you are Muslim and living in Mulsim country then how come you will be in minorities? even Muslims can apply for citizenship, i don't know who told you that Muslims can not apply for citizenship of India. it's just the few politicians those using this for getting there vote bank in upcoming elections on the name of CAB. link to bill please check once and tell me where it says muslims cant not apply for cititzenship of India - http://164.100.47.4/BillsTexts/LSBillTexts/Asintroduced/370_2019_LS_Eng.pdfCurrently, only six religions (Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis and Christians) are eligible under CAB. Have you heard of Ahmadiyya Muslims? Ahmadiyya Muslims are declared as non-muslims in Pakistan. I hope this answers your question. And I never said that Muslims can't apply for citizenship. I'm just saying that CAB is giving special privileges to a certain sector and neglecting others. There are many questions unanswered here - Why not add Ahmadiyya Muslims to the list? Why not include other faiths? What happened to atheists? What happened to the refugees from Myanmar and Sirlanka? Myanmar has a history of persecution towards Rohingya Muslims, so does Srilanka with Tamil Elam's. So why the special treatment towards these three Muslim nations? For argument sake, if it was only Pakistan and Bangladesh, then we can say that they were separated from India once. But when you add Afghanistan why not add the Buddhist nations, Srilanka and Myanmar too?

@Vishnu.Reang Of all the leagues you have mentioned, I haven't watched any leagues except for IPL and I haven't even heard of SCL and the T20 Global League. It hard to find time to watch all these leagues

QuestionWhat do you guys prefer? 1. Just a link to a post 2. The full post? That's what I'm currently showing (kinda like WallObserver.tk) 3. Just a small part of each post? Maggiordomo did that, but it often showed the wrong part and it'll can mess up the layout. I prefer the 3rd option, just like Maggidromo's notification.
Didn't go well. So I'll opt for links only
Didn't know that Maggidromo was offline for a few days now, glad that you came up with a fast alternative. Edit: I hope there are no rank requirements, because it looks like I'm the only Full Member requesting the service

The citizenship amendment bill is completely unconstitutional. The preamble of the Indian Constitution starts like this WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens When you exempt the Muslims from the bill, the country is no longer secular as they claim to be. By passing this bill, the Government is creating further rift between the Muslims and other religious communities in India. The think is when you have absolute majority in the house, you can pass whatever bullshit you want, even if it's unconstitutional. And as Clement Kaliyar pointed out, this throws a bad light on the nation and should not be entertained.

Let me know your proposed entry fee once you have a good grip of the information.
An entry of 15$ to 30$ will be fine for me Anything below 10$ will be too low IMHO, but I'll join irrespective of the fees if it's not above 30$. I guess almost everyone who is active in cricket discussion is in a Signature Campaign, so I think it wouldn't hurt to pay a week's payout as an entry fee for the pool Even though my Sig Campaign pay is less, I can afford up to 30$ for the fun
|
|
|
@Royse, I am more than eager to join the pool But I was not active last year, so I am not aware on how exactly this works. Can you point me to the last year's thread or explain how this pool works? Are you suggesting 20$ for every match Or am I missing the main point

Williamson needs to put his thinking cap on and figure it out how to save this test match with only 4 bowlers. Debutant Ferguson is already ruled out due to calf injuryI doubt it'll come to that NZ are still trailing by 307 runs. With only 5 wickets remaining, I doubt they'll score another 108 runs tomorrow to avoid a follow-on. It's very clear that they couldn't face Starc's pace. But the real turning point was the wicket of Williamson, thanks to Smith's stunner. So NZ now have to focus on batting rather than bowling. I hope Ferguson can bat for both innings.
|
|
|
Wow Aussies on fire.. Back to back wickets from Starc and Hazelwood. Newzealand are 1/2 I doubt if they'll ever avoid follow-on from this stage. Only a solid parternship between Taylor and Williamson can save NZ from a defeat. Edit: Vishnu was faster. NZ 2/2

akhjob, you have got your winnings too.
Received. 1st I thought there was some mistake in the calculation as I received extra and checked this thread. Thanks for the extra Congrats to both of you for the winnings. akhjob seems very lucky one in this pool things. Keep it up bud.
I win 4 mutual bets and lose all the Multibets and you call me lucky
As deadley pointed out in another thread, you should also make some reasonable bets Please don't bet on a draw in T20s, it kills the fun of winning Btw, deadley is not deadly, LoL. He is a nice guy to know
|
|
|
Lol. Where did I say any of that? I never mentioned a T-20 match anywhere in any of my posts above. Just wanted to clarify why the toss is the worst bet of them all.
I did the math for a T20 game which is very hard to predict the results, but you bring up a test match as a example That's where the misunderstanding is. In T20, luck is a major factor in my opinion. Test matches are more skill based rather than luck.

@Royse Please send my winnings to bc1qt0fr5vn72qym0lw9z3d3xql9pfcqt3gqrf2lqj
Going with Windies this time, so that akhjob can take the winning pot again. Looks like deadley wants a piece too

I disagree. Toss is the toughest one since it is gambling which purely involves luck and nothing else while the other markets require research and luck making them way better in comparison. Example: Can Afghanistan win against India(Test match) through toss or the game itself?
I cant understand your example clearly. AFG may win a toss against IND which is a 50:50 chance, If you are asking whether they'll win against India in a test match that will be a 20:80 chance. But they don't offer such markets in a Multibet. Btw, are you saying that Afghanistan is too weak that they can't score 5 runs or over 5.5 runs in the 1st over against INDIA in a T20 match? Or that the Indian openers will not get out before managing a 50 run partnership?
|
|
|
So if you are planning to win Multibets in the 5x pool, choose Markets #1, #3 and (#8 or #9) for better chances of winning. Royse might not like this post as a bookie PS: This is just a rough calculation Even with this math understanding, you might fail miserably Good calculations, but almost are aware that multi-bets favor the bookie heavily which is why majority of the punters like usually wager small amounts to try and win big amounts for fun primarily. Not many focus on such bets seriously and many actively discourage them. Among the bets that Royse offers, I feel that the boundaries, sixes and 1st dismissal highest score are the best ones while the toss is the toughest one(No skill required). Yeah it's true that many are not interested in Multibets but you can get bigger rewards if you hit the spot Toss is the easiest one based on math. It doesn't need any skill, but that's the same with all the markets. Maybe a basic understanding of the game and players might help to some extent. You might think Rohit Sharma is in good form and might score big, but he might just leave the ball and end up to be a maiden 1st over and might start thrashing 6s from the next over. One cannot predict such things even with understanding of the players and the teams. Btw, Boundaries and sixes are not available for the 5x pool

Srilankans are in trouble 129/4, Pakistan have bounced back hard in the second session picking up four wickets. Now SL have to find a solid parternship from this point. If Angelo Mathews and de Silva are gone, then I believe, Pak will win this match.
