I cannot understand why a 40-year-old person still insists on boxing, do these trainers not see that he is already too old? Could it be that their trainer, his physical trainer don't realize that Donaire is old? I keep asking myself the following: if Donaire is fighting for the money then why doesn't he retire and fight in these exhibition fights? because in exhibition fights he won't wear out his body and consequently wouldn't wear out his health

No one here can really understand because we are not in their place.

Aside from that, just let Donaire do what he wants. As I mentioned, he might didn't see yet his limitation due to the fact that he fought an unstoppable monster. We can see if he was still that fierce once he faced another boxer aside from Inoue.

Another thing, he was considered for that mandatory title fight. Who else doesn't want that opportunity even at that age?
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Artur Beterbiev vs Anthony Yarde on: January 19, 2023, 11:55:49 PM
And it could he could larger and boost his psychology that he can defeat him because the fight is going to be in his country, so he has what we call homecourt advantage but not sure if this is true in boxing. So yeah, we will see if he has what it takes, I mean accepting it shows that he has big balls already, but facing him in the ring could be different for Yarde when he taste the first punch of Beterbiev.

Homecourt advantage, so is the home crowd, might really be an advantage but that was all useless if a boxer is really up against a tough opponent.

Artur Beterbiev is not new to pressure and seems won't really be affected much fighting against a crowd.

Yarde on the other hand should take advantage of any advantages in this fight. A boost of morale because of the crowd is a big help but that is nothing if he can't perform well in the actual fight.

I like to think what Doncic did was shake these players on their roster. Boost them up to avoid being traded. Play harder. Be consistent. Because if they do all of those, I doubt he will request something like this again. Who knows, they might just need a little push.

I'm also thinking the same. Never seen Luka asking for a much better teammate but instead just wants them to remain consistent at all times. Even though they were able to bounce back from the Western Conference standing, unfortunately, the whole team is not consistent aside from Luka.

I posted before that if Luka will score below 25 points, the Mavericks are likely to lose that game. That was during, if I remembered correctly, around late December to early January games. Luka is a pure offensive scoring machine and that's what Mavericks have to take advantage of. His teammates should try to give him good support and the most important thing, be consistent as always.

Where do we see the ticket sales for this match? And is any of you going to watch any of these series? I think I'll invite my brother and pops on watching the 28 of Feb game since it's going to be Tuesday and it's not going to be that hectic at all unless my leave is granted.

I think ticket sales can be purchased online thru the famous ticket sale site, Ticketnet.

But for sure, tickets can also be purchased on the spot at the venue. The venue is the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.

Ticket price:

VVIP = Php 16,300
VIP = Php 9,800
Patron Gold = Php 2,500
Patron Silver = Php 1,700
Patron Bronze = Php 1,100
Lower Box Area = Php 300
General Admission = Php 100

Ticket Prices are not that bad and affordable.

846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 10 Biggest U.S Lottery Jackpots Ever...(Until Now) on: January 18, 2023, 11:45:57 PM
But why don't they instead draw 10 winners instead of having only 1 winner of more than $2 billion? I think this way is better. More winners of big prizes, the better.

In most lottery types, the the number of winners is based on how many were able to get the exact draw results.

It's not designed to only give the chances of winning to only 1 person. They can have 1 winner or even 100+ winners at the same time if lucky.

Just here in our country last year, a super rare occurrence happened in our Grand Lotto 6/55 where 433 bettors won at the same time and the crazy thing is, the winning numbers are divisible by 9. The result is 9-18-27-36-45-54. That was insane!
847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: January 18, 2023, 11:38:30 PM
So if a casino accepts lower amounts they might see more gamblers from different countries who have less to spend and accrue more earnings that way.

Most casinos I believed do have a lower minimum deposit amount and users should have no problem dealing with it.

The question is, what range of amount is considered as a low amount? $5? $2? $1?

If these people will just deposit that kind of amount, better just try their luck, not on online casinos. The casino shouldn't adjust for anything regarding the minimum deposit amount if the set amount is kind of fair already. Again, as far as local fiat casinos are concerned, especially here, the average minimum deposit amount I'm seeing is around $3 to $4.
848  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: January 18, 2023, 11:32:13 PM
I think there are several lessons here:
- there is not easy bet! even lower odds there is always a risk.
- it's really risky playing an huge amount. This not helps gambler because the risk is much much higher then rewards!
- gambling is not easy at all! it's really hard achieve a profit even for easy games!

what your opinion about this gambling issue? did you had experience similar experience? how a good gambler should avoid such mistakes?

This is what I'm saying before, it's more painful to lose a decent amount of betting in considered low odds (or safe odds to others) compare to risking money in underdog or high odds since upsets do happen. Imagine the amount that a bettor should stake just to feel the profit on these low odds where even though the chances of winning are really high, we can't disregard the fact that losing might still happen.

No way I will risk a huge amount even if the chances of winning are 99% for 1.01 odds.

My limit of tolerance in terms of choosing low odds is around @1.5 fixed. Can't risk lower than that.

On the last note, if JC will choose to play, then JBL will give the space for him, right? Like what you mentioned, it's only a backup purpose in case JC is not available due to other schedules that may prevent him from playing in FIBA.

That's correct. If Jordan Clarkson is not suitable to play on Gilas specifically in the World Cup, Justin Brownlee is the backup. From now on though, expect Justin Brownlee to be the always face we will see in Gilas as its naturalized player on other basketball events such as Asian games, SEA games, etc.

It's only the FIBA qualifying games that Clarkson won't make it to because of the current NBA season but in the FIBA World Cup, NBA is in the off-season so we can expect that Clarkson might be available.

Gilas' next window will be on February 25 and 28 against Lebanon and Jordan respectively.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: January 18, 2023, 11:03:39 PM
Or probably this is another classic example of how corrupt WBC. And I will admit that we love boxing, but sometimes this is the main reason why it is becoming trash, with all the politics and so we haven't see the fight that we want.

Hope that boxing fans will not support that fight lol.

Defending a 147lbs title in a 154lbs fight, there's even no need for an explanation on this on why it becomes a bullsh*t match.

A clear ducking to the supposed mandatory fight. Can't blame Spence's camp only as they are just being under but the whole WBC themselves are ruining the fun.
851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 18, 2023, 10:56:49 PM
He is getting closer and closer to reaching the all-time points leader, above Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, with 315 points left to tie.

LeBron James is averaging 29.7 PPG this season but if he continues to establish monster production at some of their games, like above the 30s, 40s, , etc., he might be able to pass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar within their next 10 games. That was an insane production at his age.

We are all lucky to witness that kind of achievement in this era. Good storytelling in the future. Wink

That record is something that I believed can't be broken for another 20 years or more, I guess (but my boy Luka Doncic will get it lol). Advanced congratulations already for LeBron James and damn, I hope no injury will spoil that achievement.

I think your level of understanding of things that you browse on the web is beyond average. This is your first post (although the account was created a year ago) and you know already where this topic should be posted.

The same as how you are able to browse several topics in the gambling section, you just have to truly understand what you are reading on those topics you are referring to. It's not that hard to choose a gambling site here as long as proper reading and understanding will take place.

There are lots of reputable gambling sites here and I'm sure there is no way you will end up on a sh*tty site.

You will be familiar with the payment system once you continue progressing and exploring the gambling site's interface.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How real is the winnings? on: January 18, 2023, 10:39:55 PM
It is without a shock these days that when one downloads apps to explore, like game apps; features or tasks that can earn one some coins or diamonds, or candy come with real earning prospect. If one could successful convert such earns from these games or other apps, these monies could be used to get gift cards or could be withdrawn in some instances.

In most cases, those apps are all waste of time. If I'm sure about it, these apps you are referring to do have tons of advertisements.

Unfortunately, no one can even confirm if they are paying since no one can even reach the requirements to become eligible for the payment.

Some users will advance fast on their early progress but when it's only at least 1-2% needed to complete the required tier, that's the time something not right will happened and the progress will stuck now, for let's say 98%.

For most cases where the earnings cannot be converted, but purchases could be made with bank cards, to fund them, what is best adviced?
How real are some of these winnings/earnings, incase anyone has had luck cashing their gaming/other apps wins to real cash/gift item?

We can give you much better and more accurate responses if you can give examples of the apps you are referring to.

But as I mentioned, mostly it's a waste of time.

That's money and a chance for the title again. A perfect combination for a retiring boxer. Win or not, he will have a good amount in his pocket and maybe calm down waiting for a challenger or just do what Inoue did vacating the belt. I bet it will be difficult to trim that weight now considering his age, metabolism will be at a different level.
He already proved himself a lot of times in different weight classes. Time to just calm things down after this upcoming fight.

And in the very first place, how can Nonito Donaire even consider retiring if he's still given a big break and a chance for a title fight?

At his current age, which is in the retirement period already, such an offer to fight for a title match is something they can't just let go of. A nice opportunity to be a champion again while at the same, collecting more money before retiring.

Aside from that, I believed we did not see yet the limit of Donaire because Inoue is a big deal. I want to see his performance against an opponent after Inoue and that's the time we can only see if retiring should be an option now for him.
855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 18, 2023, 12:33:03 AM
Also, Donaire is more suited in the bantamweight division rather than looking for a title at 115 pounds as I'm inclined that his career might end sooner that what he expected. Having a fight against Moloney for the vacant title is already a good opportunity for Donaire to display his prowess again in this division that he was once a champion, it will be a perfect bout for him to test if he can still do few more fights or it's time for him to hang up his gloves.

Honestly, Donaire returning to 115 lbs is a good option for me knowing that he's already on a retirement period, and getting a title here shouldn't be a tough challenge for Donaire even at his age. However, since WBC Bantamweight is now vacant, fighting at 118 lbs becomes a better option for Donaire.

Another thing, it's not that when Inoue vacates his title, Donaire will get away with the rights of becoming a mandatory fighter. It's just that after being beaten by Inoue, Donaire retains its position on the WBC rankings and becomes a 2nd mandatory fighter.

Anyways, it's now official that Donaire vs Moloney for the vacant WBC Bantamweight champion will take place.

Just waiting for the other details and information e.g date, venue, etc.
856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 17, 2023, 11:59:23 PM

Since others do have a question or concern about Ginebra should get another import as Brownlee is now a Filipino, this is my point of view.

Naturalized players are being pushed for the sake of playing in our Gilas team. It's not meant for PBA. As far as PBA rules are concerned, naturalized players are still considered as import therefore Justin Brownlee is still an import. Remember Marcus Douthit? He still plays as an import even as a naturalized player.

Just imagine, if PBA imports will be eligible to play as a local when they are granted a Filipino citizen, it will bring unbalanced to the league which is currently unbalanced right now. Again, players like Brownlee are just being considered with a Filipino nationality because of one reason, to be able to play with our national team. The uncertain availability of Jordan Clarkson in PH's FIBA games is one of the reasons too that's why it was being pushed.
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 10 Biggest U.S Lottery Jackpots Ever...(Until Now) on: January 17, 2023, 11:56:52 PM
1. Do you think its possible to win such an amount of money in online gambling/Sports betting ?
(my own opinion: I don't think its possible, as I've never seen.

2. Is there any online lottery casino available where it is possible to win such as enormous amount of money? Please share ..

1. Depends on the winning limit. But responding to that question directly, yes it's possible. In sports betting, if really eager to push on that huge winning, a parlay with huge odds will do. But as I said, there's only a winning limit depending on the bookies. The same goes for online gambling. There are top winners' records on a specific slot game if that's available on your preferred casino site.

2. Crypto? Fiat? In fiat, I'm sure there is. In crypto, maybe freebitco.in lottery or we can consider also their Lamborghini lottery. But don't expect there are lots of crypto-gambling sites offering a lottery.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My soccer betting experiment in almost a week. on: January 17, 2023, 11:51:57 PM

With the chosen odds you have bet on, I would say that you are currently in a good run.

What's next? Risks more and increase your bet. Believe me, don't settle on that low amount for long if your strategy is working well. Try to set a decent budget "at risk". If you lose it, then do the usual moving-on process. If you won it, then keep it up.

Then, later on, come back to what you really preferred to play, slot machines. Smiley
859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 17, 2023, 11:47:30 PM
Before rebuilding they can taste another play-off run with Bron, maybe one last time.

That's what the Lakers fans want to see even though the chances are kind of slim at the moment. But who knows as long as the Lakers are trying their best to remain alive in getting this year's playoff spot regardless if they will play on the play-in or not.

LeBron James' possibly achieving one of the toughest records in the league which is becoming the number 1 in NBA All-time Scoring leaders + Lakers competing in the playoffs will be a sweet achievement for the Lakers this season.

Anthony Davis might come back with a few games before the All-Star or early February as far as some rumor about his status is concerned.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you handle your losses on: January 16, 2023, 11:54:35 PM
Number one rule is keep a daily budget for gambling and dont go past it, reduce your bet size if required to last however long you want to bet but dont exceed the total spend for want of chasing a streak or trying to recover losses.

Is there really a thing called daily budget in gambling? It's impossible that the majority of gamblers will be able to comply with that.

The best thing would be, in a current session, if results are that bad, then don't chase that luck but instead take a break in the meantime.

Having a set budget for gambling will just sometimes lead to creating more temptation to continue gambling especially when losing streak.
