841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Things to know before trading. on: August 22, 2021, 06:16:00 AM
There are a number of things you must pay close attention to before you start tradingIf you do not pay attention to all these issues, you may face losses in trading.Don't be overly greedy, have a preconceived notion of trading, be patient, keep up-to-date with information, and above all, keep your emotions in check.
Don't be greedy? I mean someone who enrolls multiple accounts in signature campaigns shouldn't be giving such advice to others. Sorry about getting personal but this is just another post made for the count.

Although talked about multiple times, I feel like there are still a few things I must mention that are essential for any trader, especially one who trades cryptos.

1- Knowledge obviously
2- Ability to read charts (technical analysis) & fundamental analysis
3- A good balance between greed and ambitions.
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 21, 2021, 09:50:08 PM
The amazing part is that they are still lacking so many players that they got, I think Wijnaldum is the only player they got that they are playing right now? I mean I do not think that we will really see anything that would be interesting right away from the first games that other players play too, so it is going to be a few months for us to see the big change with all those awesome players but they haven't even started.

There is a month for them all to get in and get in shape, which will be awesome. The fact that they are still dominating even before they started playing shows you how awesome they are. The only bad outcome right now would be if the team doesn't end up jelling well together, if they lose a lot of chemistry and they start playing bad then they will have to handle that very carefully because it will make or break this team.
843  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the math behind a casino's "max bet" and bankroll management? on: August 20, 2021, 06:46:27 PM
how did they decide that the game mentioned must have a max win of 0.75%? what is the formula?
I haven't checked, so apology if someone has already answered this. But let me try and explain from my own understanding of the max bet. It depends on two things.

1- The Bankroll of the casino: If the casino has let's say $1million bankroll then usually the max bet will be something like $10 or so because the casino has to ensure that it is capable of affording a large number of losses, just in case.

2- Maybe the risk casino is able to take: Some casinos might have a smaller bankroll but allow larger max bets just because they have the appetite to risk more and allow players to gamble big.

I remember there used to be a casino who allowed max bet so big that once a player won big, they had to agree on a deal where the casino will pay the player in installments each month. Not sure how it worked out though.
844  Economy / Economics / Re: Have you been grateful for today? on: August 20, 2021, 03:52:24 PM
I just opened Facebook and read a short, but meaningful post. in the post it says

Quote
A mountain of gold would not be enough for a greedy person.
But, a plate of food is enough for a grateful person

I ponder when I do daily trading in the crypto market, I often get profit even though it is not too much, But I am always annoyed and irritated if the profit I get is not on target. I forgot to be grateful and hopefully, I can be a grateful person even though I get a little profit from crypto trading.
Sure! I never wake up a day without being grateful to God for everything I have, especially life and good health which are the first thing you need since they always say that health is wealth, and when you’re not healthy you won’t be able to work to make yourself wealthy. So, it’s very important to grateful for whatever you have. I do tell people that whatever you get you should try to be happy with it.

Even with the little profit you have gotten from bitcoin investment can be used to do some other things that will generate more wealth for you. Some people lose because they feel that they can just invest money only in cryptocurrency and then relax while they get rich overnight, no it doesn’t work that way. Investment won’t make you rich overnight, so find other things doing and always try to reinvest what you get.

846  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbet.io - Main sponsor of Southampton FC on: July 17, 2021, 08:20:59 PM
This guy is having a good week! ^^^ Winning over 1,000 Euros on a 4 leg multi. Some brave selections, but even braver to hold on!! ^^^
Another successful brazilian league accumulator. What is with all these brazilian and japanese league accumulator wins in recent times? Feels like there is a group of professionals winning these together.

Am actually considering doing more research into these leagues(never bet on them so far) in order to score such accumulator wins myself.
And I guess so many people are winning parlays at sportsbet.io because of the cool promotion where you get refunded if just one leg loses. If someone is not yet aware of the promotion, here is how it goes.

1- You make a multi bet at sportsbet with at least 5 legs
2- The odds for each bet must be 1.5 or higher
3- If you lose the bet by just 1 leg/bet then you get refunded as a free bet.

This is the reason why everyone who loves parlays are placing their bets at sportsbet because you get an added insurance along with boosted odds  Smiley.
847  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥 Crypto-Gambling.Net 🔥 Crypto Casino Reviews By A Real Insider ✅ on: July 08, 2021, 07:06:11 PM
You're accusing me of not including bustabit/bustadice just because they don't offer an affiliate program.
There's no problem in not reviewing a site if they don't have an affiliate program in place, but what RHavar said is exactly why only the affiliated websites are mentioned. You should acknowledge the fact and there's no problem with not reviewing or listing sites you don't want to.

I don't understand what you mean by the "Are you trying to say you've "actively worked for" all these casinos in the past year?" - Which casinos are you referring to here?
He said that in response to this "One of the core principles of the site is that I will never review a site, that I have actively worked for within the past year. I think that's the only fair thing to do in my position."

This statement does sound like you have worked for various casinos and hence you don't want to review them yourself.

One interesting thing I saw on your website is that you have mentioned in cons of sites as follows

Stake - We lack to find one.
7bit casino - We lack to find one.
Winz - They don’t accept players from the United Kingdom and United States

If you have any knowledge about stake, they don't accept players from USA as well so either mention the same cons for each casino or just don't mention it for any of them.

I like you have reviewed sites in details but please avoid these small mistakes.
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does on-line compete with the VIP experience on: July 03, 2021, 09:53:55 PM
People have different preferences, due to the obvious limitations of online casinos in the sense that you are at your own home and not at their own installations the bonuses that you receive as being a VIP gambler are very straightforward, and while this is great for some there are others that prefer to feel important and be given free drinks, tickets to certain events and even something as simple as an attractive woman seating besides them, however even if you take that aside you can make some interesting networking in a physical casino if you are a VIP that you cannot do in an online casino and this holds value as well.
I guess you are right there might be some gamblers who want free drinks and a special lounge/lobby for them to play instead of a cash bonus directly. Not every gambler is aiming to win from the casino actually and some just want to feel VIP which I agree, is more possible in offline casinos than online ones.

But if my opinion was recorded, I would always want higher cashback and bonuses than those free drinks and special treatment.
849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is Trading Plane ? on: July 03, 2021, 08:42:58 PM
with the same plan it will not necessarily produce the same amount of profit, this depends on each trader's vision and intuition. therefore it is important to be confident in what we see, so that we do not regret the actions we have taken. especially with experience, we seem to automatically have feelings for the market, with the behavior of the candle that is formed
That is the hardest thing about trading, you can have one exact plan and give it to 100 different people and that same exact thing will not have the same impact on the people exactly the same, all those 100 will have a different result.

This is why I think it is obvious that we should not look for the perfect plan in some other persons teachings, because there won't be any that is perfect for us, only the people who think that we should do what works for them and just because it works for them doesn't mean it will work for us as well.

It is a hard concept and I understand that many people have difficult time making their own and that is why they are working with other people to build their own, that makes sense if you have no idea how to do it yourself and if you test out enough examples eventually one of them may work for you as well, but it is going to be costly to do that.
850  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there a pattern when there is a dump like this? on: July 03, 2021, 08:08:10 PM
The pattern will always be there, but we can miss something important that will guide us to determine where the price will move. The news will still be news. Sometimes it can impact the market but vice versa. We have to be observant analyzing the market because sometimes, the pattern will not show clearly to make us analyze deeper to find the next clue.

But to know if the next minute will be dump is not easy because the sign is tough to analyze and the volume can become bigger or lower in any second.
The patterns are not clear because there are none. Those news are the only thing that moves bitcoin market forward, it could be higher or lower but they are the ones that does it. During the big bull run of this past year we had amazing news, from Elon Musk to paypal to Germany to many other things like big corporations going in, and after that when we went down from Elon Musk to Chinese ban to many other things that caused it to go down as well.

Long story short without those news there is no bitcoin movement, for a while there are no major news bad or good and the price got stuck, now you can check for patterns but only because there are no news, the moment we get a big news either good or bad that will decide on where the price will go. That is just how crypto works and as long as you get news and act accordingly you will make some profit.
851  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Next 10 years of Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2021, 07:19:24 PM
Bitcoin will continue to grow and it will survive for a long time.
Whether the price still has high volatility, people will still invest in bitcoin because they believe that bitcoin can give them the way to make money.
Cryptocurrency has already grown over the last 10 years, and it will grow more in the future.
The price can increase year by year, but we do not have the right prediction about the price to be at any price.
The only important part about this is that price could increase year to year and knowing that is enough. Sure there will be down times and nobody argues that the price will always go up without ever going down, we have just lived through a 50%+ drop in bitcoin price (and a ton in altcoins as well) so we know that the price will fall time to time. However if you buy crypto and hold it long enough you will always profit.

Knowing that just makes me so happy, I can't even have that guarantee in any company, it could be apple or google or facebook or amazon or any other company and I have zero trust that they will be higher in 10 years, they could be but there is no trust from me to them, however in bitcoin I know that in 10 years it will be higher than what it is right now, even higher than the ATH price. Knowing that makes me feel comfortable.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if US ban cryptocurrencies? on: July 03, 2021, 06:56:48 PM
Do you guys think one day USA may ban cryptocurrencies? If yes what would happen? I think it's not totally impossible and that would be a global crash on prices.
Nothing to substantial will happen.... is a big lie. Anyone that tells you that if USA bans crypto nothing would change in the long term is lying to you. Sure doesn't matter which nation bans it crypto will have a crash and in the long run (think of many years) it will recover and get better however eventually we are going to end up with nothing at all if USA is the one that does it. Why? Because they are one of the biggest spenders of crypto world and they spend a ton of money, there is really nothing we can do to equalize that with other nations because if USA bans it then that means other nations will look at it differently and everyone will be running around.

It could be done, USA could ban it and we could still survive but that requires every single other nation to full on support it and that is not going to happen anytime soon I can tell you that.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It takes years to build a reputation and seconds to break it on: July 03, 2021, 05:08:30 PM
People are wiser now and they know the true to a fake one, those fake reviews can not stand here in Bitcontalk, they can do that on other platform but not here in Bitcointalk, reading reviews coming here in Bitcointalk are worth it because they are independent reviews and it's an open discussion to see the truthfulness of those reviews.
Indeed that's the beauty of the forum, no matter how reputed or big the company is, if they have any disputes against their players, the player is free to open an accusation report against them with all the details and most often if the player's report is right and didn't make any mistake, the reputed members of the forum will tag the owner or representative of the casino which is a good red flag for players who might want to play at the site.

People still stupid enough, lol (but they think otherwise, yes). And they often easily manipulated, so there is no big deal to fool them. For that reason reviews is bought ins other places and sometimes even here (but here is problem that reputable users doesn't make paid reviews and review from Newbie looks enough suspicious)
Right and some blogs can take money and give false ratings to scam sites like 1xbit and others but here at the forum, trusted members won't take the money and leave incorrect feedbacks.

The forum's reputation of a site is a good reflection of its operating history and their honesty.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does on-line compete with the VIP experience on: July 03, 2021, 09:12:29 AM
The possibility of having a VIP treat as with the physical casino fir an Online casino platform is virtually zero. These treats comes with a comfort and relaxation zone amidst other intricacies from the opposite sex. There is no way you could feel this from a virtually coordinated system. If it isn't felt, it isn't enjoyable those, you would feel your funds running out pretty much, lol.
I can very well understand that physical casinos offer way more than an online casino in terms of special and exclusive experience but the online casinos are trying to match it because nowadays there are live dealer games and there are special rooms for high rollers where obviously more attractive dealers are present. I know it cannot match the real feeling of having a dealer in front of you though.

Online casinos are more focused on providing the players with virtual benefits such as bonuses while physical casinos are more focused on providing the player with exclusive physical experience. There is no feeling like watching the roulette spin in a real casino and no matter how realistic the online ones get, they cannot get close to that experience.
855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we live without btc? on: July 02, 2021, 09:25:13 PM
It's hard to imagine a market without Bitcoin.
Everything will hold on to it, if suddenly bitcoin drops to 0, the rest of the crypt will do the same, because if bitcoin could fall, any other currencies will be able to. Therefore, I believe that no, we cannot.
That was also evident from the recent bear run. When BTC collapsed/dropped there was not a single coin that survived and they went down by an even higher value as compared to Bitcoin. As much as can criticize bitcoin that it is only a payment option and provides no value and transactions are costly blah blah, we cannot underestimate the market cap it holds and the fact that everything started from bitcoins and then these altcoins were created.

We can live without bitcoins or cryptos of course but for me, personally, bitcoin and cryptocurrency have become an integral part of my life and I guess if BTC is suddenly collapsed or anything like that happens, it would be a really traumatizing event for me. Yes, I can live without crypto but because I have been part of this community for such a long time and I have earned so much with it, I feel like it's a big part of my life now.
856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is selling? on: July 02, 2021, 08:57:11 PM
Or just newbies thinking that cryptos are purely money maker for them.
That might be another reason indeed. A lot of newbies or new traders jump into the crypto market expecting to double their capital within a few days after they see all the hype created on Twitter and other social media. When faced with reality, they fold rather quickly and are the ones who panic the earliest. There are plenty of amateur traders in the crypto market right now.

What happens after that kind of mindset? They will turn their home into cryptocurrency hoping that they'll be able to upgrade to a mansion after that, then when predictions goes against theirs.
Haha, exactly the kind of thought I had. I have seen people even taking loans to invest in cryptocurrencies which may have worked out if the loan was taken with prior planning but these guys just gamble with their money and consider themselves to be traders.

What is their common plan B? Loaning. There where they start digging themselves into a deeper hole.
And at the end, they will blame bitcoin for their loss and start talking thrash at their social media handles.
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: July 02, 2021, 06:43:25 PM
It is disgusting how much FIA loves mercedes, they are basically one step away from giving all the keys to mercedes openly. First it was the FIA regulations that decided there can't be under 2 seconds because "it is dangerous" as if these are not cars that can go nearly 300 km per hour in a very short span of time that ends up getting close to each other and even some of the flied off high before. Then it was regulations about the wings which was basically aimed towards Red Bull of course.

Now FIA president comes out and says that all that tire burning acts at the end where Max was simply celebrating is "not tolerable" and once again "dangerous", this is formula 1 a ton more dangerous stuff happens then just some celebration. It is just too obvious that FIA loves mercedes and wants them to win every single year and they will do regulations and punishments as much as they can to hurt other teams and help mercedes, it is just simply disgusting.
858  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Next 10 years of Bitcoin? on: July 02, 2021, 06:16:47 PM
If indeed the good side of bitcoin continues to increase or persist from time to time.. I think of course bitcoin will survive and its role is still very good for the financial side, but if the bad side is more visible and considered in a risky direction.. I think bitcoin will weaken.
Well, but in my opinion.. bitcoin will still be in its popularity and will be welcomed even better even though there are many things that affect/disturb it.
About the price, of course it's hard to be sure, but I'm more tended to think that it will be higher than now
There is no weak side of bitcoin in the long run, even the idea of bitcoin is something that will grow bigger and bigger in the future. One day bitcoin will fail to go up much more and the volatility will stop, but that is not now, that is when bitcoin becomes something much bigger, like stock markets, and we need like 25x to 30x increase in bitcoin price compared to now in order to have that, which will not happen at any time soon.

Obviously speaking people will have bad feelings about bitcoin in the short term, it is going to be basically bad for short term and then good for long term. Think about it this way, go to 5 then drop to 3 then go to 10 drop to 7 go to 15 drop to 12 and so forth for a very long time, those drops can make people be scared of bitcoin but in the end it is always higher in the long term all because of the good side of it.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This time when bear market comes on: July 02, 2021, 04:27:13 PM
I think you are wrong, because currently a bear market is happening, it's just that the correction that occurs in 2021 is not as big as in 2018, but still a bear market will always occur when the bull run is over, therefore I always recommend not panic sell when a bear market occurs and hold or buy more, because I'm sure sooner or later the market will recover and increase very high again, so that we will get profit back from investing in cryptocurrency.
That is correct, a bear market is a bear market no matter how big or small the drop is. For example we are in a situation where we made a good profit in 2021 and then it crashed 50%, if you are not going to call 50%+ drop a bear market then what are you going to call it? Obviously it is a bear market, and yes it is not as harsh as 2018 that is true, in 2018 I have seen coins go down as much as 95% at some point, and bitcoin was down more than 80% and we still recovered, so there is really nothing wrong with calling it 2018 the biggest bear run I can remember.

However just because there were 80-90% drops in 2018 doesn't mean that the current 50%+ drop in the crypto market these days is not bear market neither, there are levels of it for sure but they are all still the same bear market. I hope that we can recover quicker from this as well, that would be great.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can the market build an immune system against meddling from influencer like Musk on: July 02, 2021, 03:00:10 PM
I don't think at the moment, but as the people involved mature and avoid making purchases at price peaks and not participating in FOMOs, controlling their greed. Immunity against influencers will appear. Most of the market noise is because people don't know how to control themselves and end up making decisions and taking actions in pure sentimentality, ignoring any planning and initial order. The people who got involved with Musk have now learned their lesson and will certainly not repeat the same mistakes.
The latest tweet he had about doge didn't increase the price of doge that much. So I assume that people are getting a bit smarter about it? I am not sure about it yet because it has been just one tweet but with more and more stuff maybe we could actually start to see people not caring about what he tweets? I am hoping that he tweets about doge these days because back in the day when he did that the price of doge went up and then he helped the crash happen in the last 2-3 months when the price went from 64k to 30k for bitcoin and from over 70 cents to what it is today for doge, yet this time around I want him to tweet and see if the price moves at all.

If he tweets again few more times and the price doesn't change at all, that is a good sign, if he tweets and price moves again then it means he still has influence. At the very least we saw one tweet that did nothing and that is a good start.
