Binance Launchpad is a more professional platform in both terms of safety of funds and reliability of the project. I only invest 10% of my BTC holdings to new ICOs and I can't find any good arguments on whitepaper of new projects.

A flat market is not profitable for investors and swing traders. If you guys haven't already noticed, I like investing in small caps listed on decent sized exchanges, As I think they have the greatest potential to pump in bull runs. I have had great success doing this with coins such as Walton, VertCoin, Lisk, Antshares, Einsteinium and many others (when they where still considered small lul).
Feel free to post your own thoughts and coins which you will hodl to the moon.
I'd like to tell everyone though that I have a general rule when buying alts: Never buy an ALT that's already pumped! unless it has REALLY good fundamentals.
Nice strategy to follow. It is not possible to make money with already pumped coins and pump&dump coins are not safe for long term investing. Even fundamental base doesn't improve the chance of project to survive in this market. |

You can see it with certain patterns, useless coins getting pumped, but now in a smarter way.

Be motivated, but careful.

You nailed it but this small price increase waves are not fuel for starting the bull trend. ICOs can't collect the money and they postpone their time period with hoping for better market circumstances. Investors don't fall to this trap and mainly they withdrew for staying away till recovery. |

Icos failing doesn't mean Ethereum will fail too, Ethereum has broader usage which is not just about launching and funding ICOs. Think about dapps building, Ethereum has made this so much easy that it takes little to nothing to build dapps.
ICOs faile for a real reason and all whole ecosystem has somehow deep connections to each other, ignoring one part will not help to understand the big image. After the fall in prices,ETH red prices are followed by altcoins that made on ETH blockchain. |

There is no problem about the speed of transaction or the confirmation period whenever you send bitcoin to anyone.
It depends on how much your fee does.
That is definitely correct, the higher the fees you pay for a transaction to proceed the faster the transaction is especially these days when there is no network congestion happening in the Bitcoin network but if there are network congestions that will occur just like what happened way back in the year 2017 when the market is pretty bullish and there are a lot of people using Bitcoin it will surely cause some delay even if you use high fees on paying a transaction. During congestion and peak times on network putting high fees for miners can help a bit to accelerate the confirmation period of transaction. During the last month of 2017 situation was different and even high fees don't help to speed up the transaction confirmation time. I am sure same will happen if prices gonna cross below the 2500$ and I expect such attack to bulls in this year. |

You pay money and you get value. What you paid is called the price and what you got is called value. If value increases then it will directly affect to price of that financial tool. Zero value is another case and it is meaningless to discuss it. If such a case happens then panic selling will not let to accept logically decisions. |

Bitcoin last two days raised up about 5% and could be higher price, I don't why today bitcoin have lower and dump again. Without got negative news I check bitcoin and altcoin have take down at lower price and always hope one later could back to higher price again.
It's because we are still in the bear market and speculators, whales will book profits any time they want, just like we've seen in the past couple of days. Good thing though is that the price holds around the $38xx range, so there's a possibility that an upward movement could happen, when another positive news hits the market. Or we can be speculators ourselves, buy at this dip and wait till the price goes on $4200 and sell.  Speculative advice is like a double edge sword that can hurt you and person in front of you. I prefer to wait for settled dust before deciding about buy or sell trading positions. 4000$ is current resistance and BTC price will go higher levels if it can cross this line. |

Now it is very hard to find a decent coin. It seems to me that investing in top coins is safer than investing in new projects.
Decent coins exist but everyone is responsible for their investment. I don't think so. I advise to make a portfolio with lowest marketcap coins and managing this portfolio will give better ROI than making a basket with top cryptocurrencies. |

Hhhmmm, I don't want take risk like just that to avoid transaction fee, I would prefer pay the fee for transaction. it just not make sanse to me to avoid transaction fee.
Yes, it is better for us to pay transaction fees to avoid inconvenience, do it according to the procedure and of course this will also be more effective in the future I prefer to withdraw funds with Doge or Monero due to lowest fees for withdrawal from the exchange. XMR only take 0.05$ per withdrawal and i choose this anonymous coin instead of paying 3$ to BTC withdrawal. |

I see you wrote this article in 2016, I think you have succeeded now with the 20k money you used to have. because in that year Crypto is growing rapidly, and maybe in 2017, you are very happy with your money. but for example, if I currently have 20k, I might use it to trade. I don't use it for long-term investments. because in my opinion the risk of trading today is smaller than making a long-term investment. in my opinion, it's better to earn a little more than to bear a huge risk.
I'm sure he already make a lot of money if he really invested all his money. Let's say he invested last May 2016 and the price per BTC was just around $450 so he will owned BTC44.44 , and then hold it for more than a year waiting for the bull run to come, On december 2017 he sold his BTC44.44 at $19,500 so that converts to $866,580 less $20,000 and that results to a net profit of $846 580. WOW! Lol. You wrote the best possible outcome with these numbers and this calculation doesn't reflect reality from my experience. There are emotions that don't let trader, investor act with pure logic. If he was able to sell during all-time high levels then he will not come back to post here IMO. |

It is worth noting that, according to some online sources such as Bitcoinist, bitcoin whales - those with the largest wallets - have accumulated 150,000 bitcoin in the last two months. This makes bitcoin even more scarce than it already is. The next time a bull market comes, there will likely be few circulating bitcoins with massive demand.
Accumulation on a few hands has more disadvantages than an advantage. Bitcoin whales can easily manipulate the markets for their own needs and i doubt there will be enough liquidity for covering big orders. |
