841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30th South East Asian Games on: November 22, 2019, 08:00:53 AM
The 30th South East Asian Games will be held here in the Philippines from November 22 to December 11. There will be 11 Countries that participate in this biennial Olympics. Here are the countries that will participate.

Brunei
Cambodia
Indonesia
Laos
Malaysia
Myanmar
Philippines
Singapore
Thailand
East Timor
Vietnam

Who do you think will bring home the most number of Medals this time?
Is there a sports betting site that will cover this?

If we see the history, the Philippines ranked at No. 1 position last time in 2005 when South East Asian Games were held in Manila, Philippines. After that the thailand dominated and got most medals 4 times.  Last time in 2017, there were held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the Malaysians got the highest medals. Keeping in view this history, i am sure Philippines will top again in the medals race.

It will not be easy for the Tsitsipas to reach the top because you can see the points difference is very high from the No 1 position of Nadal to the no 6 position of Tsitsipas .

agree, and Tsitsipas has a lot of points to defend in first part of the season, SF at Australian Open for example, Medvedev and Thiem are in a lot better position

but, there is one step for all of them, and that is to get the title on a grand slam, since there are five set matches, and Djokovic and Nadal, with Federer of course, are dominating the grand slam competition since Wawrinka took the title on US Open in 2016, while only six players won the title on grand slam in this decade (these four plus Cilic and Murray)

Both Tsitsipas and Thiem have to do a lot of hard work if they are to compete with Nadal and Djokovic. All the grand slam are being shared between these two for this year.

Australian & Open Wimbledon won by Novak Djokovic

French Open & US Open won by Rafael Nadal
843  Other / Off-topic / Re: Andriod or IOS on: November 22, 2019, 06:03:46 AM
All in all we will have more Android users than the iphone ones. As per the research, 75% of the total mobile users are Android based and 23% consists of the IOS users. I believe many people still want to use iphones but due to their high prices they are forced to use Android phones. If we make the iphones cheaper, many of those android lovers will shift to Iphone too.
844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 21, 2019, 01:36:36 PM
A T20 or one day might be won single handed but a test match cannot be won alone. Even if Rizwan was batting well, yet the whole team got out on 240. This means that even if he remained not out, the team could have scored on 30-40 more runs. You should give credit to the Australian players who are continuing their good form in this test too.
You cannot predict the outcome of a wicket as we have seen some surprising match winning innings in the past and if the Pakistan bowlers can restrict the Australian batsman then it will be an interesting match and these 30 to 40 runs might be a huge difference. With the technology in place the umpires need to check the decisions if they are not hundred percent certain and in this case Cummins bowled a no ball and no one rectified that and the third umpire was chilling at that time  Cheesy.

So if the third umpires knew that he had bowled a no ball, can't they interfere and ask the field umpires to change their decision. Why is that field umpires can trigger the third umpires and third umpires cannot advise the field umpire directly.
845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 21, 2019, 10:02:15 AM
6th wicket down now, have to say very bad decision from ground and third umpire. it was clearly no ball from pat Cummins but umpire gave Mohammad Rizwan out anyway. what's the use of technology if you still not going to use it correctly,
This has been a problem for sometime now. The frequency of bad decisions keeps increasing with time and I blame ICC for this. Majority of the decisions given by the umpires these days are so messed up that I feel like the viewers can do a better job in comparison.

It was very hard for Ground Umpire but Third umpire had millions of camera angle and footage but still he went with soft decision of out which was original decision. i can make peace with Ground umpire when it comes to close calls but third umpire simply has no excuse. this kind of decision can cost game to one team, Rizwan was playing very well and was in attacking mode.

846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be Gift of Santa Claus in this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers? on: November 21, 2019, 09:27:50 AM
Now, I think the last 1 year is not good for the BTC hodlers. So, I just ask Gift of Santa Claus this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers?

Compare the year 2018 and 2019 and you will find 2019 more better. The bitcoin prices moved above 4K and stayed above 8K for most part of the year. I think we will have another better year 2020 for bitcoin and we may see ATH in that year. That will be the real gift for the bitcoin holders.
847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any countries that accept cryptos as an actual method of payment? on: November 21, 2019, 06:07:14 AM
I heard that in Zimbabwe people use other currencies and cryptocurrencies to trade as their current monetary system has failed them. Do other countries also accept cryptocurrency as their main currency apart from Zimbabwe?

There are many countries which use Bitcoin as their primary currency like Venezuela and Iran. Those countries who are economically less strong or are facing sanctions from the US and their own currencies is becoming worthless, they are converting their money into bitcoins.
If you are talking about which country has legalized bitcoin, then Japan is one of the pioneers.
848  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the Bigdogs doing with Crypto or are they still in old school markets? on: November 21, 2019, 02:56:58 AM
Your question does not have a direct answer. Some bigdogs, or as we call it... whales. Are still active, and has been active for years. You can easily see several ten-hundred millions of dollars worth of Bitcoins and/or other cryptocurrencies moving fairly often, but you can't really compare it to the "old school markets".

Whales are still active and they are taking advantage by the bitcoin price movement. Whenever we see a bitcoin pump or dump for 300-500$ range in a single day, then it is because of the manipulation by the whales and big players who hold big portion of bitcoins.
Bigdogs will always be in the market to take the advantage of the volatile market.
849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Super Effective Way to Help You Follow the Trend of Bitcoin on: November 20, 2019, 05:33:47 PM
Bitcoin tends to trend both up and down for really long period of times. It is a trending asset because it is a new asset full of price discovery.
If I am going to ask about the trend of Bitcoin now;
I will never trade first. The trend is really unpredictable now, lot of flash dumps or flash pumps nowadays, saw those huge didl candles? That will going to rekt you.
Yes, you have some points; this could be probably because of upcoming block halving of Bitcoin, etc.

There are many trends indicators but none of them seems to be the perfect one. Most of the time bitcoin move opposite to the trend, so if you want to understand the trends you will need to study the bitcoins charts and history in depth.
850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CHART 2016 VS 2019 on: November 20, 2019, 05:16:12 PM
$8300- $8400 has been skipped, it looks like this decline will continue around $7500- $7700.  because I see from a number of indicators it still shows a falling trend.  and if you go up it might still be waiting at the beginning of the year  and I don't think there's good news about bitcoin right now.

Bitcoin may dump in the short run but in the bigger time frame it will rise high and broke its previous records. The problem is that when bitcoin prices start to fall, people become disappointed and never look at the big picture. The bitcoin prices cannot straight go up, there will be a lot of pump and dump in between.
851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forget Bitcoin Halving! on: November 20, 2019, 02:15:35 PM
Whatever we say, Bitcoin halving will be very important for the price to go up dramatically. I think Bitcoin needs an impulsion to start a new bull-run. Things will be more clear after the halving.

Bitcoin Halving is a big event and cannot be ignored. It will be very interested to see the bitcoin price movements before and after the halving. Also we need to compare how the bitcoin price behaved in the last halving and for sure it will follow the same pattern this time also.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Abu Dhabi T10 League 2019 on: November 20, 2019, 05:21:33 AM
i saw today's match but the ground is almost empty and i do not understand how the organizers will recover the money they spent.
I saw some clips in youtube and watching a match is like watching highlights and it is really fun, since the tournament is organized with the help of Emirates Cricket Board and they will be having a lot of money and television rights is always the lucrative deal in any sports, not sure how much they are able to get for the broadcasting rights, if not for profit you will not see this league continuing further and if i am not wrong this is the third edition.

Yes, this is the 3rd edition of this tournament but this is still not so popular league like many others. I think 10 overs a side is not an interesting format and hence people show not much interest in it.

I think very difficultly to predict the t10 matches because the match result can change any single over and I have predicted more than 10 matches but the result is  6-L 4-W few matches I lose just in final two over.

Its a big gamble to predict these matches as no one knows who will win the match. A strong team can also lose the match because of so much less overs. You need more luck and less skills to win these short format matches
853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin: The path to $10,000,000 ten million dollars per coin on: November 20, 2019, 04:12:59 AM
Bitcoin is designed to be more scarce every single day while the population is almost required to increase its demand. Why? Because people will have to sell their failed fiduciary currencies per Bitcoin. The current financial system failed already and people will realize that Bitcoin is the only system to reset everything. Governments will try to create their centralized cryptocurrencies that will fail like the fiat due to hacks and the fact that people will prefer to use Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a blackhole that is swallowing every single fiat bill. 10 million dollars per coin is probably too conservative. People who dont own Bitcoin now will have to own in it later. Those who are acummulating BTC right now will be the richest people in the world. Bitcoin should hit that price in the next 10 years and there is nothing that could stop it.

This analysis is too much optimistic and maybe not be taken seriously at the present time. I am not saying that it is impossible for bitcoin to reach $10,000,000 dollars but at the current time, this look like a childish statement.
For the last 2 years bitcoin failed to reach 19,800$ again and therefore we cannot expect bitcoin to rise ten million when it fails to cross small resistances like 10K, 15K etc. Nothing can be said with surety for the future prediction of the price.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you lured someone in Gambling? on: November 19, 2019, 07:38:53 AM
This really happens, a friend told me this, he has a friend that he wants to treat in his birthday, and since he is very much into gambling, he invited him to go on a casino to treat, since it's his birthday, but he did not have the slightest idea that his friend whom he lured to gambling, will frequent the casinos and play on his own, until he becomes addicted, he is guilty of this because he did not know that he will be luring his friend to gambling, because of that treat.
How about have you lured someone to gambling and what will you do if you did?

You took your friend to the gambling once and did not advice him to go there on regular basis. If he had become addicted to gambling, that is none of your fault. He might still be introduced to gambling by someone else and become addicted. The only thing which you could have told him to tell him the side effects of gambling in case he intent to come to casino often.
855  Economy / Gambling / Re: .4 BTC lost on satoshi dice on: November 19, 2019, 07:04:25 AM
For the last 2 years, sent .4 BTC to satoshi dice betting address before they disabled it. They never returned it. I've tried contacting them many time. I will probably never see this money again.

On which site did you sent 0.4 BTC to play the dice ?
Did you play with that money ? It might be that you played and lost all. You need to provide a little more details if you need any good suggestion.
856  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ProtonMail black friday is on! on: November 19, 2019, 04:29:27 AM
I created a ProtonMail account last week and was able to do so using just the Captcha... I suspect that this is an "Evil IP"™ or "Evil Country"™ type situation where users in certain locations or IP ranges are unable to use the Captcha method and are forced to either pay or provide an email.

And I just checked now... and it still shows me the Captcha method as an option for "Are you human?":

How an IP be evil unless you are not allowed to created multiple accounts ? And there should be no reason to avoid multi account creation from single IP.
Also one of my friend tired the SMS option but single mobile number can be used only one time, unlike gmail where you can use a single mobile number to verify multiple accounts.
Same is the case with email. A single email can be used to verify a single protonmail account.

858  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ARBITRAGE FOR ''BEGINNERS''? on: November 18, 2019, 05:00:32 PM
As i beginner i meant someone who's been trading for around half a year now (not day-trading).
Are arbitrage tools necessary or do they just make your life easier and which sites offer them?
Arbitrage was never to interesting to me but i've talked with a friend who's making a decent profit out of it (at least that is what he said...)
Thanks for help!

There are not many opportunities of arbitrage trading. Even if there is an opportunity, you need to be quick to react and should have funds in both the exchanges to quickly buy a coin, transfer to other exchange and then sell it high. As a beginner i think it is difficult to do but once your are experienced and have money distributed among exchanges, you can try your luck whenever you see an Arbitrage trading.
859  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to systematically learn to trade crypto from being a newbie? on: November 18, 2019, 04:48:26 PM
Often wonder how would approach trading and learning crypto if i started from the begining.
Would probably grab a book/start reading this forum. What about you?

I do not think any book can teach you crypto trading. If i were you, i would definitely search some basic knowledge videos about trading. It will be better if you can find a complete free video course of crypto trading.
Also i will try to get some knowledge from this forum specially the trading and speculation section.
860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade Bitcoin - AVOID "Get Rich Quick" Shit Coin Pump and Dump on: November 18, 2019, 03:55:08 PM
if you often use certain exchanges, of course, also memorize the characteristics of all the coins in it, this is a prerequisite to make sure you know the direction of each coin's chart.

It's okay to be tempted by candles with a potential reversal but first make sure the coin is still in the buying zone and its tendency to touch resistance, so don't analyze it instantly, the pattern of shitcoin is also able to breakout in one day.

I think we should select few of the coins in which we are interested and keep following their charts and news. I will recommend to keep 70% portfolio from top 20 coins in coinmarketcap.

There are pumps and dumps in Bitcoin as well and those who traded it in the last few months experienced them first hand. Going into bitcoin trading and especially trying to trade with leverage will make them play you like a fiddle. That's what those fast moves of 1k BTC on Bitstamp are meant to do. Liquidate all the leveraged suckers and influence exchanges with higher liquidity.

I normally do no like pump and dump coins or leverage trading because the risk of losing money is very high in them.
