I didn't bid skull, but I was wrong anyway, lol.
Ah OK. Didn't see any other bet at the time of your posting. :-) Was it "dory" or "palm tree"? Palm tree, but I don't know how I saw that now. Now the picture is becoming more clear.

Always meet in public, don't meet at a house or anything.

Note taken: Don't open a account & don't deposit any Bitcoins there, EVER.

your statement that my pc is not protected well enough is first of all a joke. my pc is very well protected, but a good hacker does have no problem hacking into even goverments, banks and big companies. So assuming that your safe .... think again having a good firewall and and a router does not mean your safe at all
His/Her statement is correct, your computer is not secure enough, not even mine is. However my Bitcoins are not stored on a computer, but a paper wallet. So unless someone comes and takes it away from me physically, then it's pretty darn safe. (It's not even at my house, but a secure location). It's also known that governments do not have the biggest protections systems, read some articles online from Whitehats, they will tell you that their computer at home is more secure.

Scammer tag would be appreciated until the situation is clarified, if that ever happens.
Yeah, it seems this has been forgotten about, where has never been clarified by the Oldsport, only answers which don't prove anything.

He just messaged me offering 4000 WDC for 2 BTC.
Will report back how it goes. I required him to go first (which is perfectly reasonable, I've been here for over a year). Haven't heard back from him after saying he needs to go first though lol.
He may not trust you (I know, I know) so why don't you offer escrow? (Safe for BOTH parties) He messaged me back: ]You go first, and yes we can split the order in half if that's what you'd prefer.
Now come on, this dude is screaming scam. He's raised all the red flags and done it to multiple people, this either needs to be dealt with by a ban or at least a scammer tag.

From an experience I've just had, always be suspicious of people who have taken out several loans at once and they haven't taken steps to repay, chances are it's a grab and run strategy.
On this note, always ask if they can provide collateral.

So yeah, has this been sold?

Hmm, keep us updated.
But, from now on I would suggest taking a partial payment.
EDIT: I believe he sold a ps3 which could be the money he is talking about.

I believe they stopped international shipments a few weeks ago and only ship to the US.
They have a good reputation.
They do have a good reputation, a very good one.

How long have you waited after contacting them?

If you are a new user of Linux and you are just starting out, then I would recommend http://linuxcommand.org/lc3_learning_the_shell.php as a start. After that, do a full installation of Arch Linux. They have really good documentation. When you are comfortable in Arch Linux, go do a Gentoo installation. They have even better documentation. When those are mastered, install Debian and relax. These three distros will give you a good understanding of the GNU/Linux operating system. +1, it has some easy to follow instructions.

Yeah, I finally agree with this.
