8941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO 13 SEP] AMBROSUS: Trusted Quality of Food & Medicine [BOUNTY] on: September 04, 2017, 06:29:54 PM
Hello. Just stumbled upon this announcement page. I see that you have listed UN in your recognition or support partners. May I ask for some documentation or links to read about this partnership? Are you working with World Food Organization with the baby food products classifications? I am interested especially in that aspect. Thanks.
8942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell NEO For Qtum Based in Singapore on: September 04, 2017, 06:15:32 PM
It's worth swapping NEO for anything at the moment. Crazy price drop today.
But I think the Chinese ICO stuff is a bit of a scare story. A bit of regulation on ICOs can only be beneficial in the long run.

Kinda glad I did not get in earlier, even though it will probably recover once the dust from China settles. Scary story indeed, but there is too much at stake to let it fail now. 2018 is the latest we'll see a return to last week's prices so in fact now is a good time to buy. But in small amounts, just in case! QTUM ready to take the place of NEO?
8943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Want to buy worthless altcoins on: September 04, 2017, 04:31:05 PM
Interesting! I have a few ERC20 tokens you might like.

BETOPS tokens. I have 5. Supposedly these were worth $10 each as I put in $50 to get them.
I have also 75 ATS tokens, which are supposed to be $10 value at ICO (still ongoing actually) but I can let you have them for $5.

Interested in more just PM me. Spring cleaning!
8944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 04, 2017, 03:23:16 PM
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of ICO's. For every one good ICO, there are easily 20+ that are just there to ultimately steal money. It's just what's historically happened, and I'm not a big fan of anyone that wants my money.

More importantly are the questions - will the money that was in the ICO business-startup funding market find its way to a new one now? Or will the combination of the afflicted be looking to diversify outside of crypto?

Or will this be like cutting the head off a hydra, ultimately proving the legislation to be ineffective?

Regardless, I would expect that capital outflow from china will continue in some way.

I also get less and less interested with ICOs now. The way I see it, even if a project looks interesting, best to buy after they start listing the coin. It always gives good value when you buy up all the coins from the bounty and bonus dumpers. Will the money find a way? For sure. Will crypto suffer? I feel yes, but always the answer is,,, not for long.
8945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many cryptocurrencies should exist? on: September 04, 2017, 02:39:40 PM
I thought they were more than 1,000 by now. Does anyone know a place to track every single alt? Anyway, crypto is free and has no rules. We don't like a lot of things about it. But hey, other markets have plenty of "shit stocks" and "shit news" every day, a lot more than crypto. So let's not act like we are elite.

By the way, top 50 does not mean success and below it does not mean failure.
8946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best coins for Staking ?? on: September 04, 2017, 07:44:18 AM
I used to stake Bitbeans like you, but my mistake was to sell them off a few months ago when I had problems syncing from the wallet. I later realised that it was a problem with all my wallets especially qt. By that time I had no more mood to buy back the beans which had already risen up in price. My mini adventure did not last long. But it was fun for a while. I also had insane coins but after the swap I lost some and gave up also.
8947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Rare breed kittens for ETH/BTC Worldwide delivery on: September 04, 2017, 06:41:21 AM
Wow. You can make a lot of money by being the first freeder to trade lives with Bitcoins. Do you have licences for breeding your animals and can you show us proof that they are bred with humanity and not cruelty? Sorry to ask. I just saw myself what happens to purebreed animals. They force them to just breed and breed and because of genetic problems a lot of the babies are deformed and die. Even the ones used to breed become sick from just constant pregnancy and birth.
8948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: A new easy way to get Bitcoins on: September 04, 2017, 06:11:28 AM
Why PAX token is the next BIG coin?

The liquidity - PAX can be used and traded immediately upon completion of the ICO. PAX is the standard and only currency used on the PayperEx Network, and targeted to become an off-network supported payment method in the future.

The private wallet - A peer-to-peer payments service that allows people to send and receive funds in a simple and secure way with full control over their money. Every PayperEx member get his private wallet.

potential yield – Higher demand is expected since all the activity will be in PAX (Buying Paypers done only with PAX token) the outcome is increasing at the value of PAX token.

PAX value today: 1PAX = 0.00002 Bitcoin = $0.08
Crypto analyst estimates that in 1 year the value should rise to $1-2 per PAX
Learn More: here https://payperex.com/presale

So,,, what's the difference with other alts then? How will you convince people especially merchants to accept PAX or Paypers? Who will be buying Paypers to pay anything. Who are these crypto analysts who do these estimations?

Anyway, Bitcoin as you use in example is already available to buy in fractions so higher cost of whole coin is not any issue.
8949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [MCO] Time to buy on: September 03, 2017, 06:23:45 PM
still time to buy MCO even it is pumping .. as my calculation MCO will rise up to 400K  in a day or less
bu still i did manage to buyu some coins before it puump to more than 200K so i got the earn since then and still waiting for more pump of the coin ..
dont expect for the dump yet because it will not.. im on auto sell though at 400K.. this is just all speculations from me Smiley goodluck PAL

Nah, too late. I might have been tempted if I saw this yesterday, but I have said before that I will still wait for the card to actually come out. It already missed the deadline, so this price is pumping on rumour. It should be falling further if people have common sense. If I can buy some within hours of the news IF it happens, then I will be lucky. And yes, guys, just sell it at 50%. Don't be greedy with Monaco!
8950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 5 crypto currencies to invest in 2018 on: September 03, 2017, 05:05:52 PM
Not all coins are the same and at the AltcoinUnicorn Games we are trying to identify '#unicorn #altcoins that offer longer term sustainable upside for the #crypto investors'

AltcoinUnicorn FINAL is now set: Ripple vs. IOTA

'Round 3' voting at the #AltcoinUnicorn Games is now LIVE, we will crown the champion on Sep 9, 2017

For more information on the AltcoinUnicorn Games and voting, visit https://www.securecoin.capital/coingames

FINAL - Match 7: Ripple ($XRP) takes on IOTA ($IOT) - can IOTA pull off the upset against Ripple which enjoyed significant tailwinds to get into the final round

You can keep up with updates @currencycapital on Twitter, via https://twitter.com/currencycapital/status/898845208686743552

**PATH TO THE FINAL**
RIPPLE (#XRP)
ROUND 1: Closest of the 4 first round matches, EOS (#EOS) gave Ripple (#XRP) all that it had but fell short in mounting a comeback.
ROUND 2: Ripple (#XRP) supporters came out in droves to beat NEO (#NEO) in our 'West vs. East' showdown.

IOTA (#IOT)
ROUND 1: IOTA (#IOT) crushed Gnosis (#GNO) by getting 94% of all votes casted.
ROUND 2: IOTA (#IOT) kept up with its Round 1 performance by pulling off an upset by beating out popular Litecoin (#LTC) who they had trailed for most of the round.

What surprised me here is how did EOS even get this far? But anyway, everyone would expect Ripple and Iota to be in this round. Just a shame to see Litecoin fall away. Is this proof that price has nothing to do with the coin's value? Or at least we can say, price is part of it, but there is too much control from alts to decide certainty.
8951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kyber ICO on: September 03, 2017, 09:40:25 AM
Every1 speaks about taking part in ICO bit no1 mentions about technology itself and it's usability in future. The surname "Buterin" wanishes all the brains out, making hype.

Any serious fundamental analytics?

Check this and try to find more info about the project before making statements  Wink
https://testnet-wallet.kyber.network/

It is really going to be 160 Million Dollars ? Omg i am so out.

The hardcap is 200k ETH and 100k from this amount is for a special reserve that will guarantee enough liquidity to start exchange operations.
100k is for pre sale stragegic partners, 100k is for whitelisted participants (58k before KYC approval). I think individual invest cap will be really low (2-3 ETH).

Yeah,,, I no longer fall for Buterin hype, but I was guilty of it. I bought Humaniq after the ICO (yes, very latecomer and silly as all newbies), even though the price was higher than ICO but I read about his talk and the team. It all looked so professional. I was in tears when nothing happened. It even dropped more when other alts were rising. But all is in peace now. Crazy association with Buterin who makes more money whenever people use his ETH.

Individual invest cap low. Looks good but going to be hard KYC implementation.
8952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about them WAVES!!?? on: September 03, 2017, 09:09:19 AM
Waves is the most over hyped coin on the forum. I got in at $4 and just sold at $5.50 - everything.

I just don't see it moving in any major way this year at least

The official announcement topic has been locked
No major exchange listings (Cryptopia dropped - https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=rbx_btc)
The whole leasing thing is nonsense, a bunch of crappy tokens. Leasing should reward in Waves.

Yes, it has potential but not anytime soon so why am I going to lock up $100k waiting for some major surge when I can move it into Neo and benefit from a price increase with it's first ICO and gas? or Ark and get paid 5% in Ark in interest or any other promising coin.

I agree that it had a lot of hype, but not honestly more than 99% of other lesser altcoins. I will say this that they have a good and very lite wallet which I like. They have the easiest to use form of decentral exchange. Even the inbuilt leasing system looks nice and works well. Potential is in every alt. I don't know if waves is going to be x100 or even x10 but there is no reason to think why not. Compared with what else?
8953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: September 03, 2017, 08:12:03 AM
Its good to hold it. There are many negative news but we know there are fudders and and we know also that Vitalik and team are doing a good time to improve and make it more secure. They continue to innovate and improve. Also, as an additional reasons to hold  because it has many tokens under its platform.
I will buy an altcoin when it have rumor about scam, die soon, bad news, go the hell ... this is my strategy in last year when the price of Ethereum drop down to $6 per coin. Although, in that time I did not have much money for buy Ethereum and patience for wait it increase to high price like today, but profit x2 very easy.
Those kind of indications or behavior is really very risky but you are lucky enough that ETH goes into opposite way on which most people do make fud about this coin back to the years when it was just starting.I can say that this a good alt and seeing on its smart contracts I would say that this coin does really have the potential to be used in real world usage and seeing on most ICOs they are almost using Eth platform.
Yes he is a very lucky guy, so ETH grows up in the opposite direction and he made good pfoit. when it was below $15 even I also bought few coins but when it crossed $250 the first time I sold my coins. I never thought that ETH price will cross $350 margin in just a few months. Now i will do more research on any new coins before selling that coin.

It is not a really good strategy,,, you can look at some coins and see what happens after the "scam", and FUD. They become even worse, for months. Of course,,, if you are willing to wait 10 months or 1 year to take the risk for it to recover, then you will be OK. I think ETH was a very different case. The price was pumped. I am like everyone else who wish it would happen to us. Our <5$ coin to become >$100. Dream on we all.
8954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin ‘Milestone’ Trading Sends Price Over $60, Market Cap Hits $3 Bln on: September 02, 2017, 07:16:19 AM
If you bought LTC using your BTC 1 month ago, you are in deep shit  Embarrassed

Yes bitcoin has increased 40 percent and litecoin has only increased by 37 percent since July 29th. I'm sure some stressed individual is suffering bowel problems over that  Roll Eyes Hopefully most folks are just happy with fantastic profits no matter what coin they held.
True, people are overly dramatic over losing a few percent here and there, obviously no one likes to lose but if you make a trade and only lose 3% then things are not as bad, then when you make some good trades your earnings to losses ratio is going to be great and you are going to get profits.

Haha,,, good points. I don't even stress that my XEL lost 50% anymore because I have now made it back with the LTC I had. Investment funds is like gambling, in a way, for me. I spend it and I don't expect to make anything from it. 2 and 3% is great news because it means you know when to get out. That is the meaning of discipline.
8955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: September 01, 2017, 02:57:17 PM
Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

Thanks!
In my opinion it is a good altcoin for investment. Correct me if I'm wrong, the market cap of Etherium is more than half of Bitcoin. It is still on its level of growing. Also, it has a larger community compared to other altcoins which makes its market price higher as time passes by. Dipping is normal, it happens it normally happens in cryptocurrencies. And as everyone is saying  ETH is next to Bitcoin in terms of the ranks of cryptocurrency based on its users.

Well, Ethereum has shown now that it is capable of climbing back up to its ATH, but at the same time Bitcoin is making new ATHs. The last time ETh was almost $400 BTC had made $2500. But this is a sign that it does not just have to rely on ICO and Ethereum tokens, and both coins can coexist. There has to be a new ATH for ETH now, though.

And then what, another drop?
8956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does an ICO team even matter? on: September 01, 2017, 09:45:52 AM
A lot of ICO teams start out different from the way they end up eventually. This is normal anyway. Most devs, even if you have a real name and face attached, you never know if they are for sure part of the team. Some ICOs reserve funds for team, others recruit after have capital. You have big names and people behind ICOs like EOS. But does it matter? Who knows.
8957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STRATIS - Only Great Things Ahead on: September 01, 2017, 07:17:55 AM
Gosh,,, why do I keep on missing out on fantastic news like this,,, first this coin and next that alt. Is stratis really a good buy now at $7 though? I see it has fallen as low as $2 but I guess if we hope it can reach ATH again then that is at least 50% profit. Maybe I'll buy 10 coins first and hold.
8958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ZEN is a superior version of ZCash, but only 2% of price? lot of development on: September 01, 2017, 07:03:21 AM
This is like saying Bitcoin Cash is a superior version of Bitcoin. Or Litecoin is a superior version,,, BCH is 15% of price and litecoin is like 20%. Lots of development. Lots of things going on.

But please. Until you have merchants accepting it, it is almost useless.
8959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Syscoin: Masternodes coming soon(just announced), Moon shot imminent. on: August 31, 2017, 04:05:07 PM
No, I do not see this happening. Rumour has not triggered any thing. Wait for first Masternode to be implemented, and then it is safe to buy in. But still not to the moon. Not just yet. It has to be a lot more special than masternodes, guys.

My personal preference is buy at 3900 for day trade, but entry now is for moving stop loss start at 3900 and take profit at 5000.
8960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investors Beware: China to Give Death Penalty to ICO Traders? on: August 31, 2017, 11:50:05 AM
Oh relax guys. This is just another sensationalist story. Just like how kinder candy is banned by USA but not guns in stores (only some states do anyway), and it becomes a big hoo ha. Big deal. By the way, lots of countries have death penalties that have never been enforced. Do you know some of the obscure laws of your country?
