I am extremely shocked about how fast this sale has gone.
902  Other / Off-topic / Re: Sonny Vleisides' finally sticking it up his investors' asses! on: June 30, 2013, 05:00:41 PM
If BFL changed their refund policy, they must have done it within the past week.

They did, that is why it is news.  Wink

Pretty sure all you have to do is talk negatively about BFL in public and they force you to take a refund.

I don't see what the big deal is. If you want a refund just start a thread and talk some shit.

Genius.  Grin

Thank you
903  Economy / Auctions / Re: Selling my 2 letter domain sv.gd on: June 23, 2013, 01:51:10 PM
The winner, Stunna has been gone for 2 days now, and hasn't responded to the PM I sent him asking for payment a few days ago. The domain is still in my hands, but if Stunna doesn't re-appear for much longer, I suppose I'll have to take some sort-of action, i.e. re-do the auction, or give to the second highest bidder?

I will pay for his bid at 110 if you are oksy with that.
He's replied to me telling me that he's no longer interested and would be fine with you taking his place at $110
At the current price of $65, that'll be 1.7BTC to the address I've sent you in PM, and then I'll discuss the transfer.

Paid 1.7 when btc was 75

Still dont have this domain.

300,000 LTC sell wall at 2.74

I wondered why we were no longer over 3

i'm not on Theymos's default trust list so it is pointless to leave any feed back but I will,

I wouldn't advise people who didn't had bad experiences with Coinabul to give negative feedback.

The rules are might have lost. If not for this thread i might have lost.

OK. All clear then.

not my system, just obeying the "rules" as always.

Not really familiar with the system at 100% yet. Been super busy lately, so I'm on catch up mode today Tongue

It is an odd system. theymos set who is "trusted" but said more or less any one can say anything and more or less cuz no one is trusted other than who theymos trusts.

No one can see what I said as Theymos does not trust me.

You folks want me to respond to this mess, or to push some code that fixes bugs in the new 0.6.x release where we are very close?

I think I'll push some code first...

And here us ignorant speculators were tricked into thinking 0.8.2 was right around the corner  Wink

I pointed you at important news URL's to read, and you repeatedly refused to read it, instead continuing to ask me questions that were answered in public.

0.6.x and 0.8.2 are being developed simultaneously to both have the same rules.  0.8.2 still has bugs and is very experimental.  I discovered an annoying problem in it a few days ago and fixed it.  We don't want surprises with a new official release, so 0.6.x is the next stable release which reduces fees.

I have an appointment soon.  I'll be back later today.

Quoting PMs eh? Can I publish my log for transparency?
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE - LitecoinFoundation.org donates 2000 LTC to wtogami and Aspect for 0.8.2 on: June 17, 2013, 07:46:49 PM
Chaang,

We made it pretty clear in the development fund thread, that the LTC received will be used in a responsible way. All the current LTC devs are in constant contact with each other. And we all have to agree to something before the funds are used. And every expense is laid out in the public.

There is no secret deal. We have not made any deals with anyone that would unfairly influence the direction of the project. Each one of us are adamant about this point. The large mysterious donor just wanted to help out our cause and did not want his identity known. Is that a crime? No. Does that mean he has a secret influence on us? No!

It is true that I was preoccupied with RL a year ago and let Litecoin development slip. Greedi took advantage of that and tried to claim himself to be the lead developer of Litecoin. I was not aware of that. Did he ask for donation and did you donate to him? I'm sorry for your lost LTC. But you could have easily done your due diligence before donating. I was still available via PM on bitcointalk. If I had received a PM from you saying that "Greedi is claiming to be the lead developer of Litecoin. Is that true?", I would have come back sooner to clean house. The second I found out Greedi was overstepping, I took cared of it.

If you wanted to donate to help improve Litecoin, then please donate to the development fund that all the LTC devs agreed to use. If you want to donate to a single person, feel free to do that in private. But publicly donating to 2 of the devs seems a bit manipulative. And that's why aspect called you out on it.

We were just following the advice of warren (and that is why aspect was included in the donation).

I'm going to PM you about other details so they are not public.

I did not freak out.  I think my response was balanced while questioning the validity of the message and validity of the organization.

I stated that donation fundraising is for the development team and that the development team is not susceptible to dictation of what should be done with the funds.  Any dictation of what and how should be done by the development team will be instantly refused.  If anyone gives donations saying "if you do so and so", can take their funds back.  If someone wants to donate to individuals, they are welcome to do that in private.

I then proceeded to question the validity of someone with 0 posts calling themselves 'Litecoin Foundation'. Especially since we have had ongoing discussions about this internally.  I also stated that:
Quote
Until there is further real-life information from your direction in regards to your organization, I am unable to establish your level of credibility. Thus I will ignore any interaction with you until that is addressed.

I then also added a personal note that criticized your approach of stating that 'XYZ donates to warren and aspect'.  The whole post looked designed to me like an entrapment that validates your so called foundation the second we accept the funds from you.

My post was almost instantly deleted by whoever started the thread - the 'foundation'.  You should not have done this.  People who have good intent don't delete other people's messages from threads, instead they engage in discussion.  My original post was not hostile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=236506.msg2499524#msg2499524.  Your deletion of my response was. Hence the alternate threads.

respond to me on irc...

Yes but warren has stated he might not stay and coblee seems to be too busy. We wanted to give more than 2k.

that would be a pity, would be sad to see Warren leave. Clear communication is key which and he has done it tremendously good. I was glad to finaly see a coherent dev team.

keep up the good work dev team ^^

Honestly his lack of comitment is why we did this and limit it to only 2k

Drama so sweet Cool
thanks to it, the fundraising has had more exposure in a couple of hours than the last couple of days.
