A rich dude used to have 1000 coins, one day, a rich guy will have thousands bits. boy. ami i dreaming?

Well remember, coinbase is doing this for competition purposes. Bitpay announced it was using bits, and this is just coinbase's way of saying, we see you bitpay.

Hello,
is there currently any problem with mytrezor.com backend? I can't see my incoming transactions and the worse thing is that I paid some amount via Coinbase and it seems not to be passing although it looks as sent from mytrezor.com.

I'm having some sort of issue as well... a transaction that I sent via MyTrezor isn't showing up on the network.

Great I probably should have read this before sending a transaction!

Also Slush and Stick, please don't push these transactions out as I paying a bitpay invoice and in ~11 mins it will then be gone and I have to fight up hill to get the refund!

Also a feature would be great is to be able to get the signed hex transaction, then we would be able to push our own transactions and wouldn't have worry about bits of proof not working!

that would be a great feature, something like bitwallet does

It would be, but they will never do it, and claim "It is too complex for the other 99% users that don't know how to push tx".

https://apicoin.io has had this option for a while, as well as being the first api and currently only api that returns bits, mbits, and btcs.
904  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: June 21, 2014, 05:43:26 AM
Maybe it should be a good idea to put some indicator of problems with backend to the mytrezor.com.

Or maybe get a backend that actually works!

Anyone have easy instructions for getting an S1 connected?

If anyone has any instructions on how to get an S1 connected to a local bitcoind instance, that is the template this software I build uses. That would help.

Also the software uses getblocktemplate, not getwork.
907  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-06-17] BitcoinMagazine: An Interview With Jeff Garzik, Bitcoin in Space on: June 20, 2014, 07:16:29 PM
Another person that doesn't understand, and asked softball questions
Quote
Catherine: Long term, could this replace the internet as we know it?

She clearly has no understanding about what this means for bitcoin.

Also I think this is too soon for something like for bitcoin, as the protocol isn't out of beta, but I am not surprise Jeff will go forward with this, as he is coming from the Gavin school of thinking, who cares that the protocol isn't fully hashed out, we need these stupid features.

This article is just rehashing what he said on CNBC, so no new information is being said here.

911  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to access bitcoin wallet API via web host on: June 20, 2014, 01:09:50 AM
Sounds like a firewall issue.

But if you just building a shop, why not just have an table in your database, that holds the bitcoin address and only the address. Then you can use a service like mine https://apicoin.io to get the balance of that address, or be notified of when a transaction goes to that address. This is more secure than using a bitcoind, which is way too heavy for this type of action.

Thanks for your reply! In fact I'm using some altcoin wallets instead of bitcoin, so is there any way I can solve this?

Open the RPC port which is 8333 for bitcoind.

Will try, thanks!

Also make sure you have this in your bitcoin.conf file...

rpcallowip=<server ip>

This guy is a lie! He didn't set a reserve and now he isn't selling because he thinks the offer is too low. WOW ok leaving negative trust.
915  Economy / Auctions / Re: Domain Name - BitcoinSolutions.com on: June 19, 2014, 09:47:21 PM
Gunna be so upset if this guy doesn't actually own these domains. What a waste of time that would have been :-/

Me too, but it is looking that way. The guy logged in today, yet made no comment on this post.

He probably sold his account to some attention seeking troll.

I thought trolling was against the rules? Why not ban his account?

Buddy, if those were the rules, I should've been banned in May.

No it is just rules for selected people...
917  Economy / Auctions / Re: Domain Name - BitcoinSolutions.com on: June 19, 2014, 03:44:24 PM
Since I pretty much won this auction, I want the domain name transferred to namecheap. Also OP really never provide proof he owns this domain, so I will not be sending first, he will be transferring the domain first.

They can start by adding proof of assets Wink That would make them alot more open to have it published everyday.
920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitPay sponsors U.S. college football on: June 18, 2014, 09:35:06 PM
I am going to be honest, I am not a sports person and not a college sports person, but I have heard of the big ten and rose bowl, where does this bowl stack against those?
