901  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 29/11/2022 on: January 14, 2023, 03:32:22 PM
That was a long way! I remembered when I first created my account. A few days later the merit system was implemented,  and getting one or two merits was so fucking hard!

That was about 1800 days ago,  5 years! So much happened, and I am still here. Great mark!

Thanks, and I plan to reach 5k soon  Smiley
Congratulations man you have paved your way to reach that mark of 4000 merits on the forum and all of that earned which is great achievement over all these years.I also know it's not easy to gain merits but with your quality contributions on the forum you have made it possible.

Speaking of 5000 merits then if possible you can achieve it this year and hope it goes well as you have received 359 merits in past 150 days so taking into average of 2-3 merits daily it's achievable this year so best wishes to you man and catch you there as time flies if you see compare past results with the current one. Wink
902  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 13, 2023, 05:16:58 PM

It's correct that the domain name roobet.com was registered 20 years ago, however, it was owned by a different company or person at that time. We can confirm this by checking historical archived versions of the site, like this snapshot from 2018 which clearly shows that the domain was being offered for sale. Also, there are old posts from absolutely-positioned such as this one, which confirm that he was actively involved in the development of crypto gambling site during that time period. It's possible that some review sites may have mixed up the years the casino was launched, as they only consider the date the domain was registered, but Roobet is definitely NOT a 20-year-old casino.

Yeah it's not that old because they have the campaign running on the forum in 2019 and they might be operational before that time also but not too much and they have gained popularity over these few years only with players engagement and their marketing. But yes I am also sure they have been in casino line from few years not 20 years.

As you have been already directed above how to buy copper memberships by paying a small fees and lifting the restrictions you can check it out to see if it works fine for you.

You are already junior member with 1 merit and can easily post images without any restrictions but if you want to advertise any sort of business on the forum then it's advisable to buy the membership so as to lift the other restrictions and giving more formal sort of impression to the members when they see such account. But rest is your wish that whether you want to have it or not because you are free to post images now with junior rank on your profile.
905  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 29/11/2022 on: January 13, 2023, 04:42:06 PM
Here is another nice record from the CM gang member who has reached another milestone on the forum with 3300 merits and it's for @hosseinimr93

Congratulations to him for reaching this target and now he has headed forward to his next goal with his effective contributions on the forum

It happened today (or yesterday, I did not check). I think I was lucky to obtain that rank with Activity:826. Yey!
Congratulations on new your rank mate and you are lucky that you have achieved it soon although you have crossed the limit early but ask @Ratimov who was waiting it each activity distribution period and got it after 1000 activity when he was having huge merits with him  Grin but still congratulations on your new rank.
906  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 12, 2023, 04:47:36 PM
It's better for me to activate 2FA for my account in Rollbit and log in my account on computer to play games. I don't feel safe to login my account on a smart phone that has my 2FA too. It is like I do all things on one device and it's so risky. I perhaps worry a lot about it but prevention and carefulness are better than carelessness.
This is the risk exposure we are talking about it here but many take it lightly and then regret later on.Some have also not enabled 2FA security features while those have enabled it they use the same device where they have authenticator download to get the code and login on the same device so what if it's compromised? I also recommend different devices for security but you should know how to handle them as well.
907  Other / Meta / Re: is it normal on: January 12, 2023, 04:32:03 PM
All deleted posts that were not of much use, saying thank you or a few one-line sentences, will always be treated as low-quality posts by the moderators. Get used to not thanking, instead, you can send merit if you find the post useful, and if you have nothing to give, then just take note of the information and that's it.
Yeah that's right because if we are using only one word as our post the moderator will delete them to prevent such things on forum. The best advice for newbies is to make brief reply explaining his doubt was clear or make one post to reply to different users by quoting their reply but it can be hard for them in initial phase. So simple is to take note of it and avoid such posts.

Since the question has already been answered pretty well, OP, please lock the thread.
Yeah that will prevent the spam posting in this particular thread as he has been already answered by many users on his doubt so no further discussion about it needed.

Posted my first prediction in the predictor event sometime back which was something in the 15 grand range though I am hoping that won't happen due to BTC's current rally. Felt good to see BTC break out of the 16 grand range.
The charts are in green range again which is really nice to see and bitcoin breaking some barriers so make your prediction according to that but we all know bitcoin sometimes has surprises for us although from long time we are stuck at that mid range so hope to come out of it now.
909  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My first taste of Bitcoin. on: January 12, 2023, 04:00:59 PM

910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Hackers hide malware in fake NFT game on: January 12, 2023, 03:47:58 PM
What's new here? I thought once adding NFT to the wallet, hackers would be able to remotely monitor the device and thus know the seed and password when entered.
The most of the times when you are victim of these phising links the hackers install malware into your device or like you said whenever you type any password or seed phrases on that device they have access to it through keylogger which has been into your system through these viruses and your whole wallet is drained by the scammers yet we do such things.

Installing a random games for fun on a device that has a hot wallet is stupid, you should be more careful or buy a separate phone for such things..
The basic problem with most of the people is they have funds stored in same device they use for all the purposes and they click on various links on the internet becoming prone to such hacks. The best practice is to use air gapped devices for storing your funds that is never connected to internet so as to remain safe but if not then use hardware wallets or as said different device with non custodial wallets and funds in them.

You want to play NFT game, visit any site click on the links from random users or pop ups on the site do it but just have in mind the consequences it can have as you have funds in your wallet but I think most of the people don't imagine such things. They see game rewards like P2E earn concept and just to earn some shit token from the game they download full virus into the system and also run it on administrator allowing to make changes without a doubt but this is what happens afterwards. You gain nothing from the game but also loose what you have.
911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sell motorbikes to buy bitcoins on: January 11, 2023, 04:55:31 PM
It reminded me of my case when I thought to invest in bitcoin through DCA method and follow the procedure and have a thread about it when I also invested my surplus income to bitcoin on weekly basis and have accumulated some sats through it which I am still holding at the time.

So the bike was not going to give any return and considering the depreciation it would have not given you return but maintenance cost only but it was not in your use and you made the right choice by investing in bitcoin the amount you get so it's the right choice. But hope you keep it for long term that will help you out for what you have planned but I personally encourage people to invest in it if they can but only extra funds.

913  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 11, 2023, 04:26:39 PM
Having more devices is good but if you don't know how to manage them from security perspective then there's no fun and main part is most people have their funds stored on the same device they gamble upon which could turn risky sometimes if you ever click on those phising links. But have not heard about any scam site operating under the name of Rollbit till the moment but still remain safe.
914  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchanges lie to you! on: January 11, 2023, 03:39:11 PM
They don't always need newbies, the biggest part of their funds come from people who get used to certain things like storing their coins on an exchange conveniently being able to sell them in a blinking of an eye or even having open orders with those coins they lock inside an exchange.
So they need to lie and tell these traders that their funds are safe.
Exactly they are just setting up this whole thing and people become accustomed to store their coins over exchange completely ignoring the fact these Centralised platforms are risky not for loss of funds but also affecting their privacy but as you say they have been under false dilemma that CEX are safe.

Like previously CZ has convinced people that 99% of people can't handle their fund in cold storage but in reality it was tricky indirectly stating that use Binance which is more safe for you and make him earn more dollars. But people don't realise this and you will see many believing his fake talks and rest we all know how CEX are trying to scam you of your funds.
915  Other / Meta / Re: bullrun2020bro - Merit Source Application on: January 11, 2023, 03:23:54 PM
January bump!

I really appreciate your support everyone.

No merit source yet. But I will keep trying!  Smiley
The new year might bring some new hopes for you and @theymos might consider adding more merit sources to the forum as if we consider his latest work then new Nigerian board and @OP patch has been already completed. So he might also look forward to this one also so keep trying and best wishes to you.
916  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 10, 2023, 04:03:10 PM

I do not think it is possible for a website or app to steal your keyboard information, except your device has previously been infected by a malware or virus. The screen resolution could be used by some sites to bring up pop ups in awkward positions (and make the option to cancel so small), where one can easily click to accept some random suggestion mistakenly as they would by clicking with their fingers.

Not exposing your device to random sites is wise and something I also apply in my dealings with gambling websites.

- Jay -
The keylogger can be installed in your system through some ways but not solely by visiting any site until you click on some phising links but the thing for safety is never store your sensitive information on your device connected to internet. For safety store funds on airgapped devices if possible but you should visit the sites you trust and that also through orginal link as there some scam clone sites for it also.
917  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 10, 2023, 03:44:55 PM
I agree. That's why it is advisable to use a strong password to protect our account. As I have said in my earlier post, i'm not using a 2fa in my account since I dont leave huge funds there (often, it has a few dollars only for my next gambling session). I'm just using a strong password and a different ones for my other accounts like my email add so incase something went wrong, it won't be easy for the hacker to invade my other accounts.
See I know many of us don't have huge bankroll and play with minimum amounts only but 2FA is better for security reasons of our account adding extra layer to it so we should use it but yes if you have strong password that can't be easily brute forced it's fine. Also if you are using password manager see if it's safe after the latest breach.
918  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Are Some Of The Most Efficient Ways To Invest My Bitcoin Earnings? on: January 10, 2023, 03:31:03 PM

Step 1 - Hold bitcoin in your own wallet
Step 2 - Wait

That's it! Wink

You can try to day trade if you think you have the knowledge to beat the market, but most newbies who try day trading end up losing money. Anything else is just too risky. Any centralized platform which offers interest, yields, lending income, etc., will take your coins and essentially gamble them on the open market or high risk investments, if they don't just steal them outright, and there is a high chance that you will lose everything, as has happened with literally millions of users across dozens of such platforms which have all gone bankrupt in recent months.
Those platforms where you stake your coins to earn interest over them are just scam and will not provide you anything or the other part is they have so many security patches making those sites vulnerable to hacks leading to loss of funds. So if you have invested in high yielding projects they will not be able to pay you off but also freeze your coins so avoid them at any cost. When you see such lucrative offers they are fraud in the start only and many have lost their bitcoins through it so if you have bitcoin it's already a earning so keep them safe with you.

As you have mentioned I would like to add that :

1) Keep your coins in your custody away from those CEX you found safe heaven for your coins as not your keys, not your coins

2) Backup your seed phrase safely in multiple locations and keep in mind they remain safe without anyone knowing about it.

3) Wait for some years or HODL for long term if you want to have more returns or be in profitable situation over your bitcoin investment.

Rest all ways you will find can lead to loss of funds as this is very risky market and one mistake can invite scammers to yourself disposing off your funds to them so be safe with your bitcoin.Day trading is possible but as you said gaining profits out of it is risky but if you are ready to invest your coins in some projects for some time in hope of return which is not happening it's better to just hold your coins with you.
919  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: age 28 is it too late or not to invest in bitcoin.? on: January 10, 2023, 03:13:47 PM
I don't see any point in asking others that what age is best to make investment in bitcoin or any other assets because if you see the investment will give you return in some years then probably invest in it if you are not too old as you need some pension or saving plans to retire and enjoy your time period.

Frankly saying we don't know about the future and young age investment doesn't guarantee you will enjoy them in old age but still we make investment to some extent based on the age factor but you are still 28 and if you see bitcoin as investment with profitable return and understand why it will be giving return then without any doubts invest in it holding it for long term. But the main thing is you have the mindset rather then relying on what others have to say.

With this lifestyle, I don't think you'll last long. So it's too late for you. Grin
I see why has he put forward the age barrier related doubt now because this lifestyle will not be helpful even with bitcoin investment so the guy needs to change some habits.
