It also depends on amount on each address...

Hi,
Just want to know that if I can use 160 GB HDD/SSD from my hp 6910p laptop (not sure thats HDD or SSD). One thing I want to point out that its 1.5 Gbps. I know space is OK but not sure if 1.5 Gbps would suffice or not.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Regards,
Rizwan
I assume it uses SATA? It will be only slow. It's definitly not SSD.

Hi to all miners...does any of U mining with rx 470 4gb GPU...just wondering what is the hashrate... tnx for answers...havea good mining
Same as Monero and other cryptonote coins. http://monerobenchmarks.info/

Anyone know if Cast XMR works with AEON, I'm assuming no. I'd be cool seeing how much my seven card 14.2Kh/s vega rig hashes on cryptonote-light. Wanna see if it's exacly double what ETN and XMR gives me.
Why not use XMR-STAK then? You can try the newest 2.0. Cast uses same kernel as XMR-STAK I think, shouldn't be hard to port it anyway.

Hello all, i get my 6 new cards today and i have the question: can i mod my own bios or is a better bios in the forum for more hashrate and lower the power? i have sapphire rx 570 nitro+ OC 4GB with Elpida Memory Ist the best way to use your way frome side one in this topic or search a better Bios in the forum and what hashrate are possible with this card by what power drow Best Regards Willi Sure mod it, you can use whatever guide you want, but at least don't use stock timing straps... You can use the Eliovp timings strap.

I can confirm this - changing it to GPU threads = 2 , I = 525 and Worksize to 9 is giving around 760 H/s on a RX 570 4GB with modded BIOS. Probably this can be optimised further but I always prefer to see if the new settings are stable (at least 24h run) and tweak again after a successful test.
For blockchain drivers and compute mod, it is still very low Very low might be overstated, it is possible to squeeze out 10% at best. I read that people reach stable 800 H/s. I prefer to have it running stable for one week and miss out on 2-3% performance and not get a headache because of stability issues. I've meant the intensity. Hashrate is good, depends more on timing strap, memory vendor and type. 800H/s with normal quality memory is no problem. 900+H/s is for good Samsung and good types of Hynix, maybe Elpida too.

I made paper wallet with address then I made cli wallet with DIFFERENT address (as tutorials around) Do I mine now on paper wallet or new cli address generated ? Do I ever need paper wallet address ? or from paper address goes to cli address, I don't understand.. Up to you, You can use only one or both.

your setting is best if you don't have blockchain drivers. Wait, but I do have the blockchain drivers installed. Does that mean that I shouldn't use ri=512 and g=2 since there's a better set? What settings are better for the blockchain drivers? You need higher I and maybe W.

There is an easy miner for CPU direct from the Electroneum site, and a miner for GPU "Claymore CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v10.2 Beta - POOL"
Two worst miners out there... I use easyminer for ETN. It has been the most reliable for me
Easy to use, but nothing more. Hashrate is pretty low.

Yeah...apparently there was a ddos attack but the moderator had to do some maintenance. It's back up now with about 20 MH/s
For this problem is great the new XMR-STAK 2.0 (links in first post) you can make your own list of pools and it will reconnect to other when one is unreachable. I've just set up sgminer 5.5.5 for a couple of my rigs and so far it seems to be faster than the xmr-stak. Running 480/470 cards with g=2 and ri=512, not sure though yet whether there's a better config for Polaris cards. And sgminer also has the auto pool switching function, so considering how it's faster and free, I don't see much point in using the xmr-stak for amd cards. By the way, why do you recommend the 5.5.5 version when there seem to be newer ones available? Is something wrong with the more recent builds? You mean the 5.6? It has nothing new for XMR. I've tried few SGminers and this one was so far the most stable, but you can try them all. SGminer is great in terms of hashrate, your setting is best if you don't have blockchain drivers. XMR-STAK can almost beat the SGminer with the right config. I like the clean UI of XMR-STAK and web stats, also it has a little better power consumption. SGminer has lot info I would say too much.

Hello everyone, how many memory errors are allowed per day? 20 is it a lot or is it normal?
Totally fine.

Damn, if you think this update is not enough to stop Fud then what else will, thanks for posting all this update we are now 100% sure Electroneum is moving along very nicely and will soon become one of the top coin of 2018, I will not be surprised if it hit the top 10 in just under 5 months after the wallet launch so keep holding and buying more.
I like these predictions I will mark the date in my my calender also. Currently I have there begining of the December 2017 ETN price 1 USD and January 2018 10 USD. I don't know where you get these numbers, but will see

Hopefully SUMO can steal a big piece of Moneros marketcap
There is a new kid on the block trying to steal away Monero and Sumokoin's marketcap and that kids name is Electroneum. Find out more about it here.. You mean like a retarded cousin the whole family is ashamed about? Then yes... Try to shill your shitcoin here as soon as they don't have to use the forked Sumokoin-Wallet since their dev can't make one themself.... ETN is fun, sorry I mean ETN fans are funny Did you know ETN will be $1 in about one week? The ETN dev style is awesome, they took Monero CLI didn't even rename it, it still says Monero Helium Hydra But they cannot do the same with GUI wallet somehow? There are ports of Monero GUI and SUMO GUI wallets for ETN unofficial... Once they release the wallet and ICO holders acounts will be unlocked the ETN price might be even free Or maybe not like they say they will HODL even after death

What pool is everyone in? Im in electroneum.space pool right now.
Pretty solid with 10etn payouts and only .5% pool fee.
Is there a better pool out there?
None of them are good. I've been mining on electroneum.space for a couple of days, and then it went down just a few hours ago: if you check their total hashrate you'll see how it dropped ~ 10x times, though it seems to be climbing back up now so they might've fixed whatever issues they were having, but for at least 1.5 hours there was no way to connect to the pool. So I switched to electroneum.ovh. And of course it went down only a couple hours after I switched to it. So I went to another pool, but I'm not telling which one anymore, cause it seems like whenever I say where I'm mining ETN — that pool goes down super fast. Yeah...apparently there was a ddos attack but the moderator had to do some maintenance. It's back up now with about 20 MH/s For this problem is great the new XMR-STAK 2.0 (links in first post) you can make your own list of pools and it will reconnect to other when one is unreachable.

Yes, its powering 5 cards but if I put the sixth card to the second pcie connector it doesnt power up. The card gets no power whatsoever it actually looks like the card is dead - the system only starts with 5 GPUs. Very weird
I have this same PSU and 6 cards is no problem at all. Have you switched PSU to single rail?

Do you have installed VC redist x64? https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145Older version shows DLL error, I'm not sure what it says in the 2.0 version.
