921  Other / Meta / Re: Signature posters Union on: April 13, 2019, 04:08:40 PM
Would you guys be interested in forming a signatures union that doesn't work for low wages?

I don't think we need a union for this, as it totally depends on the users if he/she wants to apply for a lower paying campaign or not. It makes no sense to force projects to pay more if they can't afford it.

With the latest thread they opened in the Meta section, I think this is a legit noob.  Cheesy
(I reported the thread to moderator to move to off topic board.)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5131323
Yes, but I think he would be banned soon.

He is paralizing posts. This makes me inclined to think he is a noob for sure.

They also have a paralyzied Whitepaper.

Most of the content in there Whitepaper is copied from different sources.

Fake Team and Fake Whitepaper are enough for this project to be proclaimed as scam. They have nothing unique to work upon and trying to scam people. Thats really a shitty way of doing so.
925  Other / Meta / Re: Where to post giveaway thread? on: April 11, 2019, 06:08:23 AM
One more question-
Can I bump the thread once per 24 hours?

Yes, you can bump the thread every 24 hours as per the rules. Also keep in mind to delete the previous bumps.

You could check most of the rules to operate here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0

13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours.[2]

21. Old bumps should be deleted. [2]

927  Other / Meta / Re: My account was hacked! Pay attention please. on: April 10, 2019, 01:58:59 PM
Can you sign a message from address quoted here?

Bitcoin address: 1JJbUCz9pQZwddv9iJ7cBYvCUvGcywGXPs

It could atleast prove you are the original owner of the account.

I think the OP is quite familiar with the repeuted users here and would surely not send those merit begging message intentionally. Also the password was changed recently which points to the hack, but surely does not prove it.
928  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk.org creator? on: April 09, 2019, 05:53:15 AM
It's surprising how well-documented history can become totally forgotten... Satoshi created the forum on Nov 22, 2009, and was head administrator until almost 2011. Then Sirius was head administrator until 2012, which is when I took over.

Sorry, I have corrected the date (also corrected it on Wikipedia). But I have not forgotten the forum history! Shocked

Cobra also owns the bitcointalk.org domain name.

I see you have access to the domain name setting also you run the sever alone and Cψbra has no access to the database or funds but has control over the forum domain. Due to his less activity here some people could surely miss-understand it.

That wiki article is kind of terrible...

Yes, I agree. It has nothing explained and it needs an update.

I already saw some users discussing and working on it here :

Bitcointalk on Wikipedia looks kinda sparse
929  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ddmrddmr on DT1 on: April 09, 2019, 05:21:00 AM
DdmrDdmr is surely an elite minded guy with tones of knowledge about the forum and specifically merit analyzing. Some of his best analysis have helped the community here in many ways and his contribution should surely be noted.

He is an great example for bounty spammers and for the once who think merits earning is impossible, to let them know what they can do if they try to contribute to the forum in positive way. He is one of the most merited users around here.

I surely support him being on the DT.
930  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk.org creator? on: April 09, 2019, 04:58:33 AM
If the Bitcointalk was originally created by Satoshi Nakamoto then who is running this website now?

The control was transferred to theymos around 2010 2012 and he is the only owner and running the Bitcointalk effectively.

Howmany total members are there who handling this website now??

The working is handled by theymos himself and staff appointed by him.

Also to let you know the Bitcoin.org domain is owned by Cψbra.

931  Other / Meta / Re: My bitcointalk was hacked! PROOF INSIDE on: April 09, 2019, 03:23:43 AM
What happened to Zepher..?

He passed away. You can know more about it here.

932  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos, please share the list of banned accounts for BPIP and LoyceV websites on: April 08, 2019, 03:03:25 PM
I've noticed that from time to time modlog isn't showing the recent bans, and some of the banned profiles remain with signatures.

I thought modlog is the most recent update at realtime. But from what you experienced it looks to be false.

Perhaps this is due to the fact that forum staff are using the different methods for bans.
I think there are only two methods for ban.

1. Temporary Ban ( 7 days mostly )
2. Permanent Ban

Please correct me if there are more ways. Also I cannot see how would this effect the modlog.
933  Other / Meta / Re: Excessively meriting a mediocre post - rules? on: April 08, 2019, 01:21:57 PM
-Snip-

Thank You for stating, but I think some users here would have already reported it.

Hard to say how I'd feel, since I wouldn't send 40 merits to either a friend or an alt account.  I have a feeling I'd probably know I deserved whatever was coming to me and just move on, which is what you should do.  Lauda and TMAN don't often remove negs as far as I know, so you're going to have a hell of a hard time getting rid of the ones you got.

I don't know why are you ignoring the above listed facts but the person you are explaining is evading a ban.
934  Other / Meta / Re: Excessively meriting a mediocre post - rules? on: April 08, 2019, 10:58:59 AM
So , how do you know that SvenBomvolen is a banned account?

https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=SvenBomvolen (Autobanned)

I did not see Taki and his alt are banned till now for this ban evasion.

Yes, they are not banned until but would surely be banned later if some mod looks through the proofs here.
935  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Keplertek SCAM - collected $14 mln and are preparing for an exit on: April 08, 2019, 07:36:02 AM
Thats really very bad for some investors.

They also ran a promotional Bounty campaign on Bitcointalk:

✅🚀[Bounty] KEPLER - Next Generation Blockchain Platform For AI & Robotics 🚀

Even after a year the bounty payments are not distributed yet.

Kepler ANN:

✅🚀[ANN] [ICO] KEPLER - Next Generation Blockchain Platform For AI & Robotics🚀

I also see this user actively promoting the project.

————————————————————————————Freewallet to me————————————————————————————————————————

Dear customer,

We offer you to make a Skype call with us on Monday at 11:30 AM.
Is this time convenient for you?
Our security department will ask you some questions about your funds and your account.
Please also prepare your documents (ID and bank statement).

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

This is ridiculous way of verification from Freewallet. Even after many attempts and providing Identity Verification documents by OP the case is not solved yet.

Next move is asking for a Skype call, which is totally wrong way of handling the situation. Crypto should not work like this, and OP should not be forced to video chat with strangers to receover his funds. This looks like an very unprofessional attempt form a famous crypto wallet.

I would not recommend anyone using a platform which asks for Skype Video Call verification to withdraw Personal funds.
938  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ryan Hildreth , Bitconnect scam on: April 08, 2019, 03:42:29 AM
i won't be surprised if this dude shills another scam coin in the next bull market.

Yes, they could surely be working with some ways to scam more people with crypto. Ryan Hildreth is currently coping Tai Lopez and creating similar videos for his YouTube audience on "how to earn XX $ per day".

He has uploaded a video showing his YouTube viewers how many followers he had at the time of Bitconnet scam and how it is dropped now.

https://youtu.be/n76tqun-nKQ?t=3m1s

They already tried to pull an Exit Scam just after the first Bitconnet platform collapsed known as 'BitconnetX' but it was not that successfull. From this there is no-doubt they could be working on another massive Ponzi.

940  Economy / Reputation / Re: BtC withdraw struck on Localbitcoins on: April 07, 2019, 04:21:23 PM
There is no txn id given , it just says pending to address (my address).
That means its just not released from localbitcoins yet. But I think 30 minutes is very less time and as Royes777 said due to the increase in the BTC prices the transaction pretty much takes time.

I think you should await for the confirmation for a bit more time.
