921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EAC] EarthCoin - EAC v1.3.1 Now Available! Now on BTC38 Exchange on: August 02, 2014, 02:42:13 PM

The price is doing a very nice slow climb no rush no rush Smiley

Yes. This is a example that dev try to do something, but because of the huge amount of coins available and because of the lack of miners (old script coin), this coin hasn't been moved back to 50 sats, because lets face it, why should this coin be trading so low, there are plenty of services that you can buy with your EAC coins. A little more innovation like Earthsend or EarthCloudWallet or anything else can move this to 50 sats again, and this could nothing to do with willing to dump my coins, but this is something to do with get it moving.

Linki and I have been discussing future development and we are planning some big changes for EAC. These changes will take some time and won't be announced until they are ready.

Let's wait for these changes then, as there's no other way to go for us Wink. I've got some EAC stashed for the long run and I'm not going to sell time soon. Or it has to be really attractive due to new changes, but I don't think that.

What are these changes going to be about? A "ninja swap"? Or are they regarding the total amount of EAC, or the amount of EAC you get each block?

These changes won't be announced until they are ready.
Wink

I've read that part of your text hehe, but you won't leak us some details about which subject of EAC might get changed?  Too bad hehe.

I'll wait. I was going to wait with my EAC anyways, so that doesn't botter me.  We'll hear from you Wink.
922  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Steam Wallet $20 credit -- only $2 (0.003btc)!!!! on: August 02, 2014, 02:12:39 PM
We can try it. I think it converts the USD into Euro when you use the code.

I never said it was healthy business, I said I am CrAzY  Cheesy

Allright 'Crazy Dude'. I will give it a try. Let's see whether you and this Crazy Business is legit. I would have spent the $2 on another beer tonight otherwise.

I'm currently synching my wallet, but I will send you a PM soon. Atleast, if you allow me to enter your service Wink.
923  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Worth mining? on: August 02, 2014, 02:09:36 PM
I don't think mining is currently profitable if you still have to buy all the equiptment yet.

However, that's with the current price. If you stash your mined BTC (which are now worth about, let's say $600), if might have been profitable in the long run (when the value might be about, for example $1500).  However, that's quite a gamble (in which you shouldn't be involved with money you can't afford to loose / money you lend).

Short term trading etc is still profitable (if you know how to, and got some luck).
Why don't you just buy BTC? If you actually just stash mined BTC from bought machines, the profits would be way smaller, shipping fees, overpriced equipments. It is better to use that amount of money to buy BTC as the fees combined would still be smaller than the loss from mining.

I totally agree with you. That's also the way I roll. I quit mining since many months now.   But what I ment to say was that mining still might be profitable. So if the topicstarter is really into mining, he might ROI in the long run.

Directly buying BTC instead is a smarter step in my opinion too, but hey, that's his own decision.

Does this also work for European accounts? (As we've got the Euro as Currency). Otherwise, I want to give it a shot Wink.

However, I'm still thinking about how this could be a healthy business for you.. ^^

926  Local / Beurzen / Re: www.bitonictracker.com on: August 02, 2014, 01:57:18 PM

lucozade or red bull if there is vodka in it Tongue

Haven't heard of that "Lucozade" drink yet. Is it a local drink in the country you live?

I drank quite a few Vodka Red Bull the lasts two weeks when I was on holiday. Too bad they cost about €7,- each time (for a small drink). However, this was in a great club.

Time will tell Wink.

Any newer updates yet? I just came back from a holiday. When I bought the Fibonacci ASICs earlier, I though I would be able to atleast control them at this moment, as it's almost the first of August now.

For now, I think we might be happy that we will be able to control the ASICs this year..  In periods as this me (and probably many other buyers) expect clear and daily head-ups and updates from Jasinlee and his team.

You will want to watch the thread in the litecoin forums.
It's not clear, or daily updates, but it's active.....Just messy.

I'm familiar with that topic. However, when you see all of the many new pages after you went from a holiday from about two weeks, it isn't really great to read through all these pages (as I've got more to do now).   However, I've got a PM from Jasinlee.

I think all we can do is wait. Complaining won't speed up the progess.  Let's hope we will get compensated in MHs even more as soon as the product is finally launched, as it otherwise will be hard to ROI.  Currently, I don't even mind not getting (much) profit, a ROI would be great too. But hey, we all bought these product in order to gain some profit one day right?.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NLG] Guldencoin — New website! on: July 31, 2014, 06:10:09 PM
more MHs is added more is the stability of the coin.

I see both Hashrate and simultaneous wallet connections are both up. Coin is growing.

That's indeed nice for the future of the coin, and the current stability. However, to let this coin gain in value I think it needs even more marketing. And it needs even more possibilities to spend it.

Does anyone some (Dutch) websites that might be interested in accepting GuldenCoin as a payment method? How about Dutch retailers?
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: GRAND COIN - 1 GRAND PER BLOCK and SUPER BLOCKS released TODAY 13/07/13 on: July 31, 2014, 06:08:49 PM
As I was on a holiday for two weeks, it takes me a lot of time to synch all my wallets.  Good to hear that atleast someone got their wallet synched.  As i'm synching other wallets now, I think i'll try to synch the GrandCoin wallet tomorrow.

I never had problem with synching the GrandCoin wallet. Even if it's not as popular as it was before.. I still think this coin has a future.
934  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: SteamBitShop ● Buy Steam games with bitcoin ● Instant delivery (0 confirmations) on: July 31, 2014, 06:07:25 PM
It's sad that the current value of the BTC is this low, now I can buy less stuff with my BTC ;\.

I would love to buy either the new Far Cry or Assassin's Creed Unity, but I think it's smarter for me to wait a while. Otherwise, you'll get a PM from me.
935  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best energy drink on: July 30, 2014, 04:23:08 PM
I just tried some "Burn" energy drinks over at Portugal last week. They've got many kinds. Most of them don't taste like a traditional energy drink, I think because they added flavours to the different kinds.

To me they tasted a bit weird, but I like them. Has anyone tried these yet?

If you're not on that list, you're not (correctly) enrolled. You might enroll now for the following month then Wink.

I just filled in the "Collecting Payment" form (and didn't enroll again, as Stunna stated: you don't need to enroll if you're already in). Going to start this month with 1679 posts, allthough I will be on a holiday for a part of this month. Let's hope I reach the 50 posts Wink.

Wink.

I have sent a request for payment considering all posts that I have made before I submitted it (15th July and before)
Does this mean I can change my signature now ?

Thanks,
Jambola2

Requests of payments only at 17th. I think we still in 15th or 16th in all the globe. Just wait more 30 hours or so, or Stunna will have an excuse to don't pay
I doubt he would not pay as he is really nice guy, but yeah terms clearly state that it's 17th to 17th and today is only 16th morning here.
I submitted yesterday does that mean I have to resubmit tomorrow?

I think you better PM Stunna. Why did you submit yesterday? It's very clear that you've to submit your posts on the 17th of each month. It's like this since many months now.. allthough the way of how to submit your posts has changed earlier.

If Stunna has the time to PM you, you'll get a reply on how to solve this. Otherwise, I'm not sure what you should do..
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Fibonacci SCRYPT ASIC Litecoin LTC Miners - Community Driven on: July 16, 2014, 08:55:37 AM
Let's hope that isn't going to be reality. Allthough Jasinlee keeps increasing the hashrate of their products earlier, for example a 10 Mh/s won't be worth much anymore in Q1 of 2015.. It might need to be increased to 100 Mh/s or 250 MH/s.. and that is going to bring problems with it for sure.

Let's all pray for a early delivery.
