OP you really think this way? Is there any people concerned that others wouldn't use bitcoin and why?
I don't think he really believes in what he posted. If he does, he's an idiot, and if he doesn't, he's an idiot for trolling the forums.
That leaves us to 2 alternatives, he's either and idiot or an idiot. Smiley

agreed, bad troll is also idiot.
Oh yes definitely, and these are the kind of people we don't need in the community anyways! So it's a good thing they come out with their unpopular opinions in the open so we know who they are. Smiley

Do you get paid 1 month after you sign up or are the periods the same for everyone in the campaign?

What was that? It's a bedbug. It doesn't feel like a bedbug! Okay, it's NOT a bed bug. ....L-l-l-let's go back to saying its' a bedbug.
How big are the bedbugs where you live? Could a penguin really be mistaken for one? Shocked

I too have tried their casino and it's real good experience.  Played BlackJack and Roulette and it was pretty smooth, no bugs or glitches or slowdown.

Top notch graphics and sound is pretty good.  And it's Provably fair!!!

It also doesn't help that teachers don't give two shits anymore, they're more worried about getting their salaries jacked up via unions, and even the ones who do give two shits are powerless because parents treat their kids like demi-gods and believe they can do no wrong.
Haha exactly. And that's the reason I'll slap my own kids.

Naa, but seriously tho, kids need to be raised knowing they're not always right. Can't defend them "OH MY GOD, DID YOU GET AN F ON YOUR TEST? IT MUST BE THE TEACHER'S FAULT, YOU'RE MY LITTLE GENIUS" and run to the school and shout at the people in charge.
Seems to happen too much nowadays.

I don't think it would be possible to make a ship 100% unsinkable. They can always be damaged.
What if they're build with some impenetrable armor?

i hate this...

Why not ask for donation to a worthy cause.
I think it's time to stop these thefts.

I do not invest, but it is too complicated for those who invest.
Every man for himself in these bitcoin times. Just don't invest in things, possibly make a thread about them if they're a scam.

You're not the first to notice, I've made a thread about it, several people posted this before. Sorry if you wasted your time, make sure to google the site name + scam first, whatever site it is. Smiley
Thoug they paid me my first payment 0.027BTC a month before.I posted it in your thread and you blamed me for a lie!
I can't recall. TX links for that transaction then?

What about War and Peace. Is it a good read.I'm 16 years old, can I read it easily?

you mean this one ?
Yeah I'm referring to this book. Can you advise?
I think Tolstoy is quite a rough author to take a bite out of if you're young. Perhaps if you're an experienced reader.
Then again you can't tell how difficult translations are gonna be to read if you're planning on reading it in your
mother tongue.
I plan to read it in English.

Waterways, by Kyell Gold. I read a lot of books, spent most of my childhood reading, and that is by far the best story I have ever read.
I am gonna read it then.
I would definitely give it a try if that's the case, it's a classic book. Smiley

935  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your time machine is here...what year would you like? on: April 17, 2014, 08:16:34 PM
2008 Cheesy

I was 11 back then lol

but I would of found some ways to purchase bitcoins Cheesy

besides, I would bet my money on all football games I remember Cheesy

If you time travel you won't be that 11 year you, you would be currently you and you could go visit with that young you Cheesy
Or that how it usually work at movies, I'm not sure how this time machine works tough.

He will go back to 2008 and paste a sticky note on his room to buy tons of bitcoins and in 2014 he will be driving tesla.

I would just go talking to myself like, "Hi, I'm you from future and I will make you rich".
It would be pretty easy to proof that I'm "me" and that I'm from future.

yeah, but you have to make sure no one else sees you, which would be a hard job..

Why I couldn't just be my new friend? Cheesy
Just use disguise or something. So that people would'n think why I would look exactly like me Cheesy

which kind of disguise? Cheesy

I look a lot like younger me just half a meter taller lol
Obviously, you'd have to wear a lot of make up, possibly a mask.

yeah, and other people in my house wouldn't be surprised to see a dude in a mask hanging out with me? Cheesy

I should kidnap myself on the way from school, but what if I kick myself in the nuts Cheesy
You'd have to wear some sort of ball-protection. Do you own any hockey equipment?

no, hockey isn't really popular in Europe Cheesy

but I'll take that one for the riches Cheesy

now, when have that settled all we need now is a time-machine Cheesy
Not popular in europe? How far west are ya from? Definitely not Scandinavia at least!

Croatia Tongue

we watch it sometimes, Medveščak is quite popular but it's not like I'v ever seen someone playing hockey Cheesy

In Zagreb maybe but I'm at the eastern end of the country Cheesy
Aha yeah, it might not be as popular a bit farther south. It's still huge in the north though.
Basically the countries with winter 70% of the year like winter related sports, for some
reason. Wink

well it makes sense Cheesy

down here we're all into football, handball, waterpolo etc. Cheesy

not sure which part of Scandinavia you're from but if you're from Sweden you might be into handball too Cheesy
Handball is alright. Fast paced sports with good entertainment quality. Altho I don't really watch any sports, on ice or not. Smiley
936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 51% attack on: April 17, 2014, 08:15:52 PM
According to Sotoshi's white paper, it seems that a 51% attack would only disrupt current transactions but not affect the previous blocks.
Where can one find this?

I think he means the original paper by Satoshi https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf
However I can't find any explicit mentioning of the 51% attack in it.
Hm me neither, that's what I thought he referred to as well.

Under "Calculations" section of bitcoin.pdf

quote:
-"We consider the scenario of an attacker trying to generate an alternate chain faster than the honest
chain. Even if this is accomplished, it does not throw the system open to arbitrary changes, such
as creating value out of thin air or taking money that never belonged to the attacker. Nodes are
not going to accept an invalid transaction as payment, and honest nodes will never accept a block
containing them. An attacker can only try to change one of his own transactions to take back
money he recently spent"
end quote.

To generate an alternate chain faster than the honest chain would mean that the attacker would have 51% or greater control of network.  How else would someone generate a chain faster than the main chain?
No that seems to make sense. Doesn't seem to be that big of a deal if this is true, however we can't know if he missed something until someone actually tries and succeeds.

Why would I trust a complete stranger?

let me answer with a counter question, why would you trust someone you know?
When did I say that I did? :O

you did not, but that means you trust no one
do you believe God? Cheesy
I believe nothing that I have no reason to believe in. Isn't that a healthy attitude?

Tragic news out of South Korea.

http://kotaku.com/father-let-son-die-while-he-played-online-games-1562919428

Quote
He would only check in on his two year-old every two or three days, feeding the child and then leaving to head off to another PC bang (net cafe)

Quote
On March 7, Chung allegedly found his son dead. He finally disposed of the body in a trash bag and continued going to net cafes and playing PC games.

Now who says Games don't kill people?

Everybody still says that. Games didn't kill the baby, the father did.

as I stated earlier

games don't kill, stupid motherfuckers do

As I said even earlier than you

games don't kill people, people kill people
That's right, it sucks that media and people say games kill people.
Yes, but it's the medias way of scaring people. "Games make you violent, look here, ONE boy in australia hit a hole through his wall when he got angry" etc etc. That's what keeps them alive, scaring people.
