1881  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: March 16, 2014, 01:32:36 PM
one thing I did want to mention... I don't see why PBMining needs a new website... I think the site as it is, is perfectly OK. I've never had any bother logging in, or buying contracts, and stats are stable... can someone answer... why migrate?

"Yes it will definitely be https! Most of the improvements will be "behind the scenes" but the biggest changes on the front end will be the order system.   The general visual layout will look very similar at first, but we will be able to expand much easier now.  Our new development environment will be MUCH easier to work with, so new improvements will be added continuously.  Graphic designers will be able to come in and not only make things look nicer, but enable more compatibility for mobile devices.  With the current system, our site is in "lock-down" mode due to the January attacks against certain vulnerabilities, so adding features right now is risky and nearly impossible"

doh. I had read that. thanks  Lips sealed i'll shut up now lol

Not have to shup up Smiley

Think it is mostly for security reasons and adding features.

But i agree with you, the design is straight forward liked it when i first saw it. What i´m missing little bit is more information on the mining farm/hardware used.
I think they not want other mining companys looking into their cards too much. Understandable.

Some people may think it´s a ponzi, but i think it is not and PBM is for real.

Sure , you never know, but my bet it´s not something like that.
The only reason people are doubting them is cause OP refused to give out some information earlier. Altho I've no concern with their legitimacy, and as long as people are getting paid and are satisfied I see no reason to complain. Smiley

Well, what information we need. He can say i owns 500 miners, putting some pictures of a mining farm here and we have to believe its real.

Only way is to get a 3rd party involvend who keeps their business secret and say that PBM has assets worth 500 Bitcoins and is legit.

An professional auditing company or something like that.
Yeah as I said I have no doubts, the guy asking for the information was just annoying.

he says he stole money so basically he is a hacker
He says he DIDN'T steal the money, it was just metaphorical. Did you even read the ****ing post? -_-

It might be just me, but a non-functional website owned by someone with lots of red trust - No thanks.

Nice attitude with that insulting quote. More proof she is a disrespectful idiot who has no grasp of what she did to Dorian Nakamoto personally by writing that article singling him out. Yeah, I would say skip "sending a message to the Newsweek advertisers" and just make sure the message gets delivered to her personally somehow (by having to endure the same weirdness of people following her around and to her house at all hours of the day and night to creep her out), just like Dorian Nakamoto now has to deal with. Maybe if she learns that invasion of her own privacy sucks, she won't casually do this to someone else again in the future.
Until I read her hateful, insulting and disrespectful text she wrote I thought it'd be stupid to teach someone not to mess with someone's privacy by doing the same to her ( like showing people killing is wrong by killing them ), altho now I wouldn't mind. Hope you get her.
1885  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: March 16, 2014, 12:51:46 PM
Lol, I guess the question now is will it reach 10,000?
No, it really isn't? We're still below 1000, and the discussion
or rather the question should be if we'll recover to 1000 and if so when. Smiley

1888  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Fucking Ponzi's and the idiots that buy into them + List of Shills on: March 16, 2014, 12:48:30 PM
I don't see the problem *if* the website is clearly labeled as being what it is....

When people invest in companies pretending to be crowdfunding such as Leancy who posed as an IT investment company and stole $5,000,000 from people, then I would have a problem.

Otherwise we all know the risks.

Here's my problem: they aren't gambling.  Perhaps they are gambling in the strictest letter-of-the-law sense, but so is literally everything else in the world.  The gambling section should be for gambling games with well defined rules, payouts, and (ideally) are provably fair.

Think about how it looks to someone just getting into bitcoins.  They come to the largest forum, and click on one of the largest sub-forums (gambling).  And oh look, it's 25% ponzis.  That's a very bad look, as ponzi's are universally reviled.  To the casual viewer, it looks like the only thing to do with bitcoins is funnel them into a ponzi.  It makes something that is already misunderstood by a large portion of the population look even MORE shady.
I already posted a link to the thread suggesting/discussing a new forum section that seems to be coming in the near future, where people can post all their pyramid/ponzi schemes they like. And the best part? You don't have to see them unless you go there by your own free will!
No more reason for people to whine!
1889  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: March 16, 2014, 12:46:59 PM
Hah yeah, it's quite entertaining.

@Zero3112: Yeah perhaps, should've been moved by now though considering how long it's been around and active.
1890  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Legit bitcoin faucets sites on: March 16, 2014, 11:52:05 AM
Or you could do both. Faucets are there for people who have just started out, it's what got me started.
I'm only using a few faucets daily nowadays and mainly earn sites + signature, but there's still a use
for them, otherwise they wouldn't be around.
1891  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: March 16, 2014, 02:29:16 AM
"personal preference" is correct.
It's Sat night perhaps I should leave for a while.
Are you having fun?
It's quite enjoyable, although where I am it's Sunday morning. Isn't it fantastic that we're
able to communicate with people all around the world?
1892  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: March 16, 2014, 02:27:52 AM
It just hit me, why isn't this post in the speculation forum? Shocked

Obviously that site lists the faucets that pays to coinbox, but not much else.
1895  Economy / Goods / Re: buy beef with bitcoins on: March 16, 2014, 01:32:11 AM
I got your private message OP. I'm just gonna put it like this. I will not eat anything that's been shipped to me by a stranger. Meat, candy, bread, vegetables, nothing. Not that I think anyone would deliberately send food samples to deliberately poison someone, but there's always a risk. I hope however that someone takes you up on that offer, gets a sample, and finds it alright so you can get your business started.
I won't be that guy, but I'm thankful for the offer.

Best of luck.  Smiley
1896  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Legit bitcoin faucets sites on: March 16, 2014, 01:29:41 AM
Check this site for compilation of legit faucet sites + earnbtc sites ( PTC etc ).
Tried all faucets, they're sufficiently funded ( when I type this ), and everything is paying out.
www.earnbtc.weebly.com

Good luck!
1897  Economy / Services / Re: Auction for 3 ad spots on freebitcoinwin.com for 1 week on: March 16, 2014, 01:24:36 AM
Also, are you aware that site tells you the withdrawal limit is 0,0005460 btc?
This means if you only win the lowest amount, which you do 99% of the time, you would need to roll over 240 times to reach the withdrawal limit.
Is this intended or a typo?
1898  Economy / Services / Re: Auction for 3 ad spots on freebitcoinwin.com for 1 week on: March 16, 2014, 01:17:12 AM
Oh, there is actually an owner of freebitcoinwin willing to show his face?
The site is a copy trying to steal freebitco.in passwords, and has not paid out.
Also someone provided screenshots of winning the biggest win by rolling 10 000,
however was only rewarded with 0,02 btc rather than the promised 0,2.
Plus he never got paid at all. Stay away from this guy, not only is he a scammer,
but he's most likely lying about the page views etc.

Already said site is not yet complete and did not launch it, trying to fix some small bugs
For your information someone was even abble to to win 100 Btc when i was working on the script
Would like to see that screenshot about the 10000 rolling because if this is true would help me fix the bug

Your logic is sick. Why would someone spend thousands of dollars to build a script  to steal account passwords of another faucet  to steal some satoshi.

Also if you know someone who got the 10000 roll, probably should be others and the odd is 1 on 10000 to get that roll so that means that this site has good traffic

Who's logic is sick? Just cause someone 'got lucky' on your bugged scam site doesn't mean it has a lot of visitors. As you said yourself it's not working.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=471228.msg5405367#msg5405367. There's the guy providing the screenshot, + the thread I made about it. Nobody stated to have received payments, only on the contrary.

You built it yourself? Fun stuff, what a coincidence it turned out to be an exact copy of another faucet, apart from 2 changed colors on the main page.

Color, Colour, Couleur, Colore... How Do You Say It?
In my opinion colour is the way you spell it and koll-or is the way you say it, but perhaps it's a matter of personal preference?
