1661  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: March 23, 2014, 06:46:09 PM
Payments today will be lumped together as 1 per customer.  A few customers will receive 2 separate payments because of a small bug that is still being ironed out, but we feel that overall this is a big improvement to our payout procedure.  This will also decrease the transactions from about 2500 down to 800.   Smiley

Theoretically, everyones "paid out" amount in their profile should be exactly the same as their actual single payout but if there are any issues please let me know.

this is a huge improvement for the payment part Smiley

for me that means 1 received payment instead of 50+
It does indeed seem to be good news. Lots of cred to the OP for constantly improving the website and actively updating here.
Shows a lot of seriousness and legitimacy. Keep it up.
1662  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: "The last posting from your IP was less than 360 seconds ago..." on: March 23, 2014, 06:44:05 PM
But you need to write here from time to time if you want to lift those restrictions.

You only need to post once a fortnight to get your full activity points though, providing your post count is higher than your current activity.
I thought this was common knowledge? There's a sticky in the
Meta for those who wants to read about it themselves though. Smiley

Apparently not given the number of queries and threads about it. Admittedly, it is quite confusing at first.
This is basically cause 99% of everyone who joins the forum does NOT read the "Newbie read-me" thread that's
stickied. They rather just join, post all their questions and has someone else answer it for them.
1663  Economy / Services / Re: Talk Crypto - Earn Bitcoin on: March 23, 2014, 06:42:59 PM
Amended Payment Ratio, we have now reached BTC0.014 / 1000 credits.

400 Credits on Registration
6 Credits Per Thread
3 Credits Per Post

One day it was 0.008 nd now 0.014 at this speed we will go skyrocket!

Ive stated countless times it'll increase when it can  Wink

Registration + 100 threads to get to the payout that's 0.014?
Gee wiz. :>

I dont really need to go through it all again do i? Lol

The rate of the ratio / credits is increasing all the time, if you hit the 1000 credits just basically wait until the right time when the ratio is alot better when withdrawing your credits, so then you get more for your posts.

And the risk involved with waiting? Site goes down, gets hacked, owner takes it down deliberately?
I bet you haven't included that in your calculations.
1664  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any BTC bank? on: March 23, 2014, 06:41:58 PM
If there used to be a BTC bank and crashed down why there is no one more bank?
Because a bank isn't the point of bitcoins whatsoever. You're supposed to get as far away from
3rd parties handling your money as you can.
Keep it in your own wallet. Smiley
1665  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: March 23, 2014, 06:40:10 PM
Loyalty program means he would probably drop per post rate, but intoduce a multiplier for each month you are with PD. Don't get all your hopes up too high, cos PD should be targeting those senior and hero members who have left, not necessarily standard and full memebrs who are sticking with PD.

I am just analysing from a business point of view. It will be interesting to see how it will play out  Smiley

I think he will reward non sr and hero members for sticking with PD, as competition currently pays out much higher.
Then he might aswell just increase rates? People wont swap back anyways as they already changed, and if he highers the payout for -some- people, he doesn't earn new signups anyway.

There will always be a higher paid campaign out there. With a loyalty multiplier, Stunna do not need to match those higher rates and still can retain members, cos it discourages members switching to other higher paid short term campaigns. The was no "cost" before, now you loose the loyalty bonus.

Regarding whether Stunna wishes to attract those sr/hero members who swapped out before, i really don't know. Only Stunna has the stats for the number of sr/hero members and their payouts. I would guess their aggregate payout is high. That is why Stunna cannot raise sr/hero rate too much, but undeniably their sigs are the most effective.

I think Members and Full Members tend to make more posts than Senior & Hero Members. The latter don't seem to make that many posts, but there's fewer of them, but their sigs are also much more visible. Hopefully when the ref links become active that will give Stunna some idea of what's more lucrative. It'll be interesting to see how many hits we personally get.
The reason there are lesser sr and hero member posts are the reasons you stated yourself, there are simply fewer of them. I'm excited to see if we get some referral system as well, would be cool.

It's not that. From what I've observed they literally just don't seem to make as many posts compared to users from lower member groups.
Maybe they've tired after 3 years on this forum then. I still see quite a few posts by 800+ activity people on this forum to be fair.

Pah, why am I on this list, I don't know...
Hey I have an idea, I'm going to collect a load of random names from this forum and list them all scammers without any meaning or evidence.
You're just a paranoid guy. Roll Eyes
Apparently I'm a scammer because I posted about the success of a ponzi payment... riiiiiggght, jog on.

Report the post to moderator

What he is doing is defamation
Is this actually reportable? If so, I'll go ahead and do it straight away. Would love to see
him get what he deserves for publicly naming and shaming innocent users.
1668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Client do you use and why ? on: March 23, 2014, 06:37:32 PM
Bitcoin-qt!

Is there another wallet?
Lol, there are a lot of other wallets. Ever used google? Cheesy

Some guys in Spain were making Ferrari and Lambos and they were selling them fro just 20.000-30.000 euro!

Would you buy one?
Implying the official client is the best one? Explain why it's the least mentioned in the whole thread?

Because people like to get goxxed! and Then start crying!

Who got goxxed for using qt client?

Here you have the link to the story!

I'm not referring to online "wallets", gox has nothing to do with programs like Multibit.
You're not gonna lose your money unless you're a complete idiot. You're not making a
good case at the moment.

I'm just paranoid!
How I can trust mutibit that he isn't sending my private keys and my wallet password to some shady server!

One thing I've learned! It's easier to prevent something then fight it!

So I just like to be extra safe Smiley
I don't see how that would even happen, lol. But yeah I guess arguably the official client is the
'safest'. Altho in my opinion there's really no risk if you don't store your coins on websites.
1669  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best book you ever had? on: March 23, 2014, 06:36:21 PM
Soccer in a Football World is a must for any U.S. soccer fan. The Ball is Round (global history of soccer) is also very good, but be prepared to set aside some time for it (it's over 900 pages).

I also really enjoy Ron Paul's books. Just finished re-reading The Revolution the other day.

Fiction-wise, nothing beats the Hitchhiker's Guide series for me.
Glad to see someone else enjoyed it as much as I did, best book series
I've ever read, don't think I'll ever come across something as entertaining.

Yeah, I haven't read a fiction book since that I've enjoyed as much as I did Hitchhiker's. I feel like I reached the peak too soon, lol.
Hah you're right about that to be honest, I read it when I was 14-15, so yeah, the peak was too soon.
Altho there's no saying you or I won't find a even better book out there.

So new people can only post once every 6 minutes?
That is correct, until you've been online and posted for a while, the restriction keeps going down. I've been here for 2 months and now it's about 27 seconds between posts that I have to wait. Nobody posts more than once per 27 seconds anyway so it's not really a restriction.

Hello and thanks!

When does the 0 get removed from under my name?
It has now for example Smiley
Go to the Meta section to read about activity.

Best of luck!

Yes, I seen that it has finally moved. Smiley

Thanks!
No problem, this section of the forum is for asking questions and getting help! Glad you actually used it for that rather than spamming. Smiley

In my opinion roads, police, fire services couldn't be built/services be offered without government involvement!
Of course they couldn't. Imagine a private police, that acts on the behalf of whoever pays them the most. I wanna know if all the hardcore liberal anarchists lurking on this forum would like to live in that community.
1674  Economy / Gambling / Re: [NEW] FairProof - the simplest provably fair bitcoin lottery (1,9% house fee) on: March 23, 2014, 06:32:05 PM
Got paid today, very fast payouts
and great visuals and game speed too, it's very rare to see a site combining both but they did it.

Yes I like the design too

And the website loads fast in my computer

That's good enough for me
The design is indeed quite good. I personally don't like the color scheme, but what the hell, taste differs. Smiley

Why should there not be?

Colors? rainbow colors?

Colors? rainbow colors?

Red? Green? Yellow? Orange? What other?
Arguably you could include brown, wouldn't that be just fair?

Why should there be equality in colours?
I fail to see why it shouldn't as well, can someone else bring something to the color-discussion?
1677  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you HATE most? on: March 23, 2014, 06:29:49 PM
Trolls. Hands down, trolls. At least those which are simply annoying, I don't have anything against the ones who try to be funny.
Arn't all trolls just attempting to be funny in their own way? Or at least trying to entertain themselves amongst with some others. Nobody trolls in privacy, it's always in front of public eyes.

Now now, nobody has confirmed what exactly the loyalty bonus will be, so it's too early to make up conclusions. We'll just have to wait and see how it pans out.

I agree. Not much point speculating with such little info. The "loyalty bonus" might just be a one off thing based on who Stunna feels has stayed the longest or who he has observed not jumping deals.
Exactly, therefore we wait until the rules are officially changed, then we'll see what's the best move for everyone. Smiley

1680  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...? on: March 23, 2014, 06:27:45 PM
april should pump that price a little bit.

Not really, we are going down and it should keep that way in April
This seems quite accurate, unless something big happens that makes it go up to high heavens. If not, I also think April is gonna be a slow month with prices ranging from 500-600.
and where do we see it by the end of 2014 ..? do you guys think we will pass the 1k$ mark or wee need something special to hit that mark again.

Nobody knows for sure where the price is going in the short or medium term

But I would bet we see 1000$ and even 2000$ within a year
I'm not too sure we'll reach 1000 usd, but I sure HOPE so. Remember to differ between hopes and serious speculation. I've no evidence or sources at all for my predictions, they might be completely wrong.

I know there are not a lot of bitcoins created and there are a lot of USD created and I know that the USD will collapse within 3years, I don't know if it will happen tomorrow, in 6months or in 3years but when it does BTC price will go up tremendously
Lets see some sources links and references supporting that the USD will collapse within 3 years. It's the typical bitcointalk user that just posts statements without supporting them with evidence.
