921  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to sell? Or to buy? on: June 21, 2016, 05:40:26 PM
if people really wanted to sell, then they should have done that when the price was still far above the $700 price level. there is no point in selling now as that will make you a panic seller. have some patience and keep holding as that is the best option.
922  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good idea to buy bitcoins now? on: June 20, 2016, 02:23:02 PM
for this time it is not a good idea . it is not profitable to invest on bitcoin right now because it is continuing to go to the higher price you might just sink your money if buy bitcoin for now it is very risky to draw money .
Yeah i agree but how if the price will continue to reach like $800 before halving so it a lot way not profitable. So if i have extra budget i will buy bitcoin but not whole i will buy just like 1/4 or 1/2 and i will hold it and keep earning everyday because of the price is continue rising. Opportunity doesn't knock twice so you need to think twice before doing big decision Cheesy.

If you can afford to buy with current price then you can buy it, but to be honest if you buy now then profit margin would not be too higher, but you will make some profits for sure.

the current price is good for securing profits or to simply keep holding. buying right now is too risky as you don't know if the price will go up much higher than current levels. i definitely wouldn't risk buying at these prices.
923  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: June 20, 2016, 02:10:46 PM
i used to buy a fixed amount of coins every month, but i stopped doing so when the price reached $450. i am satiafied with the amount of coins that i have. if the price happens to come down that low again, then i'll surely do it again, but not at these prices.
924  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = 1000$ in 2016 on: June 20, 2016, 12:48:20 PM
To be honest it could be possible for the price to finally reach $1000 this year. I think that it is going to depend on what is going to happen with the price after the halving.
We just have to wait it out and see what is going to happen with in a couple of weeks.

if the price comes down significantly after the block halving, then it will be very difficult for the price to go up that high this year. but i think if we will see $1000 prices again this year, then it will definitely be before the block halving. otherwise the chances for it to happen are very low. whatever is happening, i already made a good amount of profits.
925  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: June 20, 2016, 12:17:36 PM

With 28% capital gains tax in my country i am considering just holding forever recently. 28% is so huge, even if we hit $3k bitcoin from here i dont think its enough to make me sell any.

that's just insane. if you play it smart and know how to sell your bitcoins, then you can easily avoid paying a single penny in tax. mind telling what country you're from?
926  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: June 20, 2016, 11:59:53 AM
It matters a lot in my eyes because it has such a good future and you can such much profit with just holding it.
In my eyes its better than any other investment.

Yes bitcoin is the best investment for future and I think this is the right time to invest as price is still affordable if we are planning for long term investment in bitcoin.

right now is just a normal time to enter the market as the price has gone up significantly already. best times were when the price was between $300-$400. if you bought at these prices and kept holding your coins till now, then you would have made a more than decent profit in less than a year. where else do you find such a great yielding investment?
927  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 19, 2016, 03:48:31 PM
I think that it really depends on what sort of investment you are looking to invest in. Obviously if the investment you are investing in is something along the lines of a HYIP, then don't do it at all.

But if it's investing in BTC, go ahead.

hyip's shouldn't be considered an investment option. it's more like gambling. and the worst part is that if you know what hyip's are, and you put money in it, then you are just supporting scammers. it's horrible.
928  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: June 19, 2016, 03:37:55 PM
Well, I think 100 BTC is enough, because 1 bitcoin could may go up to over 1 million dollars by the time you retire. Investing in a retirement fund is not a good idea with the fiat currency system in place.

Bitcoin is a much better option.

not sure where you get the information from that 1 bitcoin can reach a value of $1 million, but it's not going to happen. it's better to set yourself some more realistic price targets. i can see a price of around $10,000 at most, at some point in the far future. if that indeed turns out to happen, then 100btc will be worth $1 million. which is a fantastic amount to retire with.
929  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: June 19, 2016, 03:28:51 PM
in 2020 bitcoin can be use in offline mode ?  Undecided

nah. transactions need to get their confirmations, which is only possible if you're connected to the internet. otherwise you can double spend your coins nearly everywhere. Grin
930  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: June 19, 2016, 02:56:05 PM
Halving makes thee bitcoin price go higher,,and they are waiting for this cause its only happening every four years.
Therefore this halving is an opportunity that should not be mislook by everyone here, this is the time where we can earn a good amount of bitcoins if we know how to risk. The halving is always good if majority will benefit.

the best times to invest in bitcoin due to the block halving are over at this point. right now is an okay moment to enter the market. it's either good for selling or holding even longer. that's how i look at it.
931  Other / Archival / Re: Should we sell btc? on: June 19, 2016, 01:15:16 PM
Well IMO you should sell now but not all of your holded btc. Maybe just secure a profit for yourself so that you won't regret if it's price suddenly falls.

If you sell your bitcoin right now with the price of $750 because your afraid when its price fall, how come if the price rise more and break $800 to $1000 before July. So that is a big regret of selling bitcoin instead of holding it and wait until it reach its highest value.
It all depends on the entry price. If the entry price was low enough, one may sell part of the holdings to secure gains and wait with the rest to see what happens. On the other hand, I don't expect the price much more, as at this pace, we already went into overbought territory long time ago.

i also have the feeling that the price has not much steam left to go up further. but then again, the guys or group behind the recent pumps will most likely lift the price further to maybe even reach $1000 again. just imagine the media attention at the time we hit that magical price again. it will attract a lot yolo investors hoping to make some quick bucks. and these people may end up buying the overbought coins at +$1000 rates. just like it happened the previous time.
932  Economy / Speculation / Re: 626 $ what!?!? Halving incoming.. on: June 19, 2016, 01:02:53 PM
Bitcoin is going to reward the holders well this time Smiley

Well it already has several times, patience is what one needs to have to make a decent profit out of bitcoin.

exactly! there have been enough times where the price went up to high price levels, and then got dumped down again after a while. if you have patience and not sell your coins as soon as you see you made 10% profit, then you can keep holding till you see the price gain around 70% or even double in value. that's exactly what i do. and there will be plenty more of these opportunities in the coming years. buy on time and sell on time. Wink
933  Economy / Economics / Re: How many coins did you have during the rise? on: June 19, 2016, 12:41:14 PM
i had around 2btc at that time, but i kept holding them hoping the price would sky rocket even higher. yes, i know it's a noobish mistake, but at that time i was a complete newbie.
934  Economy / Speculation / Re: PANIC BUYING !!!!!!! on: June 19, 2016, 12:33:29 PM
Give me cheap Bitcoin.......  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

never mind panic selling at what price will we be panic buying....lol  below $200 would be nice to see again.

Low btc price is a dream. I'd literally panic buy if the price fell just for my love of bitcoin.
But for the sake of bitcoin, I just hope it gets more recognition and usage.

With more usage ans recognition we can just see btc price even higher then its now. I think we can expect higher rise and only after that some big drop, but I doubt that we will see 200 $ ever again.
And like I said maybe its the time to make new record in price, its possible in my opinion. Old record is closer and closer every day, week... i hope for that!

it's better for everyone to just forget about $200 prices as it's very unlikely to happen. never say never, but it's better to focus on more realistic price targets. i think it's just a matter of time before people realize how dumb it is to keep the majority of their wealth in fiat. with bitcoin you'll avoid seeing your wealth decrease in value as the supply is limited, plus the fact that it is only gaining popularity.
935  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach $700 again on: June 18, 2016, 03:54:23 PM
Hahahaha look what you were saying. And we just reached $700 a week back and the price is still going extremely strong. The extremely bull market isn't going to stop from here Tongue

Bitcoin has no limits in terms of its price. It has all potential to hit even $1 million.

Bitcoins have a lot of potential to reach a value as high as $1 Million.  If somehow bitcoins has become more popular, it will go to a such high price which is beyond common man buying limit. So keep on collecting the Bitcoins till it reaches at it peak value.

Yes, this is the perfect time to collect coins and save for the future as price is not too high we can still buy some coins at this price but in future it won't be possible to buy.

perfect time to buy yourself as many coins as possible were when the price was below $400 not that long ago. right now is just an okay time to enter the market at these prices. but then again, that's how i look at the current market.
936  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 18, 2016, 03:47:39 PM
As you are investing for time and you are holding your bitcoin for a long time that is a long term investment.
And you are going to earn by just saving your money when the price increases.

Some people just cant stand the volatility of bitcoin which is why everyone choose the other thing instead of bitcoin. At the current rate, bitcoin is highly overpriced and not to mention that the volatility is keep ongoing every single day now and the price keep dropping and increasing at +/- $20 a day

Yeah and I think people should take price volatility positively, as it allows to make profits in quick session, Price is around $750 now so I think we can still afford to invest some money in bitcoin.

i welcome every bit of volatility that comes towards me. and yes, with large enough price swings you can make more than decent profits in quite a short time. the current market is basically a traders paradise right now.
937  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2.5 Years in Bitcoin and still holding. on: June 18, 2016, 02:22:37 PM
i started with holding in 2014, but the number of coins i had back then was not that much. i used the sub $300 prices in 2015 to buy myself plenty of coins in order to increase my position in bitcoin. and as you see it pays off nicely.
938  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reaching 1500$ after the halving , Possible ? on: June 18, 2016, 02:17:10 PM
it's fantastic to see the price reach $1500 if it indeed turns out to happen, but i expect a serious correction to happen making the price settle at a price of $600-$700 after reaching the high of $1000 just before the block halving. tension is building up which makes people hold their mouse cursor very close to the sell button.
939  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin exchanges have their own blockchain? on: June 18, 2016, 12:06:39 PM
bitcoins that you see being traded on exchanges and the coins in their orderbooks don't exist. it's just you depositing real coins to the exchange, and the exchange simply adds the numbers to your account. it has nothing to do with block chains and miners. these coins you see are just numbers in their data base. that's all. and to answer your question whether or not exchanges get manipulated; the answer is yes.
940  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Bitcoin will pass 1000 usd again ? on: June 18, 2016, 11:59:42 AM
I think the price will go past $1000 around September 2016 when the supply of coins is reduced due to the halving.

the block halving will take place on july 10, which might even show us $1000 prices within a month if china keeps pumping like they have done.
