Price is over 400. It's currently around 405...if only we could have a jump for more.
I've noticed that it's held over $400 for the past two day, was $405.11 when I checked this morning. Still a strong price, but I would have expected the price to track more with difficulty. Why can't we get 20% bumps in price every couple weeks? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Hmm, well dmz should negate any firewall issues. Do you have another location you can try them from? I wonder if it's something to do with your isp even, maybe?

So I pointed my S3+ to the club for you, I'll leave it running a few days.
Heat wave still pushing temps here to ~90*F, it's just too hot in my office to keep the S3+ going and I've shut it off. Thanks again, look forward to the next promo, hopefully we'll have gekko pods for that one!

Quick question....
At what point does Dust Payments get sent out? Is it weekly or monthly?
Someday in the distant future. or even few day later... if you have "dust problems" ...i propose to mini for me...so I send you your satoshi in advance... kano saying here: if you have mined more than $1 you can hope a soon payout... I'm pretty sure Kano said to NOT expect dust payments any time soon. I have almost $3 in dust accrued, I wouldn't even bring up dust payments until your dust balance was around ~0.1btc, that's getting "significant". I'm hypothesizing that when Kano writes the code for daily payments that will set up some framework that can be built upon later to handle dust. I think there are bigger fish to fry at the moment.

I think it's very good. We don't wait for transactions to accepted.
The network is intended to operate such that one block is solved every 10 minutes, it's not about convenience of getting tx confirmed. If you want fast/instant confirms there are plenty of altcoins designed around that philosophy, but with bitcoin I would tend to agree that it is "bad", at least for anyone with less than ~10PH at their disposal.

This pool is so dry! 52 PH/s and hardly 2 blocks! Eligius with 9PH/s had more blocks! Its really frustrating that this SO called Captain is silent like a Russian KGB!
So is there really 52PH pointed here then? Might be the reported hash rate is the problem, not the blocks the pool is (not) solving. /shrug

I just noticed one of my S7s has a best share of 66,576,783,617. That's the biggest I've ever seen from one of my rigs. It would have been a block back in November, which is a mere three months ago ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) Yes, I know that best share is a useless statistic. But it does give me an artificial, meaningless, and admittedly silly sense of accomplishment. Nice, I know how you feel My S3+ just had a best share of 44G over the weekend. That would have been a block this time last year, right after I started mining. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

Follow steps to get proper driver and zadig, make sure your system sees the miner. Download latest cgminer, 4.9.2: http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/Use U3 codes, e.g. --au3-freq <arg> Report back success or failure.

Correlation is not causation.

Do you have another location you can try them from? Could it be something with your firewall that is preventing the miners from talking to the pool? If you run a full node, can you try solo mining against your node?
Very strange problem, because they look like they are hashing just fine but not talking to the outside world.

I followed you link, right clicked the picture, and copied image location, then posted that link into image tags. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fscontent-lax3-1.xx.fbcdn.net%2Fhphotos-xtp1%2Fv%2Ft1.0-9%2Fs720x720%2F12717780_10153841317905450_9137277835980548009_n.jpg%3Foh%3D29b3deefa28fda9842675c0cfaca268e%26oe%3D572D4611&t=663&c=K385sjtFY_4XRw) Google "free image host", you don't need to post it to facebook. I like tinypict myself. The free hosts will give you a direct link to the image which you can insert into the image tags in the forum. It doesn't look like you are submitting shares to your pools properly (and those pool you are using are terrible for bitcoin, but that's another subject). Make sure your pool settings are correct or maybe try a different pool...

Wow, a 950G share, nice one! Looks like a rental based on the hash rates, hopefully they made some coin, congrats.

I do wonder what the hell an "Almost Block" is?
It's a result of "almost mining", like "Oops, I was almost mining at slush until I did some actual research." Many things to ponder here, but it's the little things that get me, like if the thread title can't bother to be updated with the pool hash rate in who knows how long, what does that say? Says a lot to me.

+27.7 = Mikestang
Price is over $380 this morning, but it's having trouble getting back to $400. At least it's been holding steady here and not dropping any more. I'd like to see up back in the mid-$400s, makes me feel better about paying for electricity.

With the end of Phil's compac solo club I decided to point all my club hash here. It's not a lot by any means, but I don't think I'm going to accomplish anything with it solo mining so might as well accrue some dust with it, might be worth something some day. Block on!

I'll be leaving mine pointed to the club for a while, until whenever the next time I need to restart my computer is
Well that didn't last long, lol. I came home and started using the computer when this happened, no joke: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi63.tinypic.com%2Fka6884.jpg&t=663&c=H_YABqhPYEq-hA) If it was anything but antivirus I'd ignore it, but I like not having viruses. Thanks again, Phil, good luck with the solar project, I look forward to the next whatever-you-put-together, haha. Edit- So I pointed my S3+ to the club for you, I'll leave it running a few days. We're having a bit of a heat wave here right no so I had shut it off from solo mining, had a 44G share last weekend. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) {"hashrate1m": "557G", "hashrate5m": "426G", "hashrate1hr": "78.2G", "hashrate1d": "29G", "hashrate7d": "26.9G", "lastupdate": 1455255699, "shares": 17049854, "bestshare": 2936702.6111035105, "bestever": 179524550} http://solo.ckpool.org/workers/1JiWuyX94wrCr7JhkAn7x5qNMCEef1KhqX.Jan11mikestangstick

and it is done ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif) Not all good things can last forever. Thanks for all your work putting this together, Phil, and all the other folk like cryptoglance and the spreadsheet fellow (sorry, forgot who was doing that page) for keeping track of everything, it was really fun. I would like to see permanent solo groups set up like this. With difficulty where it is the only way to solo mine effectively is to pool resources. Cheers!

Any progress on the single payment per 24 hour period? My payments are getting really small and having them grouped will be nice.
That's probably second on the todo list after some more performance changes. If all of a user's dust rewards for a single day total more than 0.0001btc will they be paid under the new once-per-day payment scheme? Or since each single reward is less than 10,000 satoshi will they continue to be held in bitcoin jail?

I do not want to hit a block or i'll regret forever no leaving them on solo :p
Well don't feel too bad if they do hit a block on Kano.is, because that doesn't necessarily mean they would have hit a block on cksolo or anywhere else. Every hash has the same chance as the next at solving one no matter where it's pointed.

I wish they would stop marketing these altcoins as an improvement to Bitcoin, to me it seems like they are trying to "take over" bitcoin like they did with XT. Regardless what you call it, there's only one bitcoin and I doubt many people (especially the Chinese) will adopt this new altcoin over core.
