Use unique, strong passwords are good because if they are weak, they can be bruteforced but don't store your passwords in email, any account, on any server.
Are your passwords in the green?

LastPass has data breach and other password manager softwares can have data breaches too.

We recently detected unusual activity within a third-party cloud storage service, which is currently shared by both LastPass and its affiliate GoTo. Customer passwords remain safely encrypted due to LastPass’s Zero Knowledge architecture. More info: http://bit.ly/3gLH2i0
More info, Notice of recent security incident
Yeah the password manager data breach was there which automatically have resulted in leak of data and personal information of the users so you should be very careful in them also following the security measures. The password should be combination of words, letters, numbers and character we all know but it should be kept safely without any carelessness because if someone else got your access your fund will be gone.We should be responsible in these matters and if you are having password manager goes with trusted one only.

If you follow my fellow Bitcoin Italia Podcast friend in Central America, you will discover that actually the Bitcoin Law did nothing for the poor people, unless giving the 30 USD.
Chivo Wallet is basically not used anymore, and bitcoin usage is basically zero in El Salvador.
I remember how many people have downloaded the wallet and there were claims that millions have used Chivo wallet because it was free money and they want to experience the new things but now the usage have declined due to various factors and have not heard anything new from the leader as well Bukele and only investment was in last dip but they have lost more then $60M with the current dip.

The new bitcoin bonds might be helpful for them and new investor around the globe seek interest in them but will be happy to see what future plans they have from raising the funds and how well this goes because you need proper plans and usage from people to keep it going.
924  Other / Meta / Re: [TOP-200] The most generous users giving merits on: January 09, 2023, 03:22:28 PM
Nah, no matter what I've posted about my position in this particular ranking, I don't--and never have--seen it as a competition.  In fact, I'm glad there are quite a few members who are regularly sending out more merits than I am.  If I was consistently leading the list, I think the merit system would be in trouble.
Exactly all the merit sources are doing the job and main aim is to distribute the merits to the deserving posts and members on the forum keeping up the distribution channel. This list is just an indication to how much merits were distributed based on their generosity while all are doing fine job and this is only motivation and statistics to represent to the members. You have done quite a well in distrubing merits on the forum and helping members reach next rank we all know.

Wow, I finally topped one of your chart. 1,301 is a decent good result, even if I think the record is the one recently set by ddmrddmr back in September with an astonishing 1,650.
I don't know if anyone dares to confirm that.
There is nothing astonishing about it because we know about his super human powers when it comes to merit related things then he unlocks it and distribute merits at speed light. Grin But you are also on the same way seeing your past few months smerits data charts so keep up the good work man and congratulations to be on top last month.
925  Other / Meta / Re: Save your nice merit records here - LAST UPDATE: 29/11/2022 on: January 09, 2023, 03:03:56 PM
New year - new achievements. It was possible to reach the following mark of 9 000 merit:

The last frontier before joining the five-figure merit club. Roll Eyes)
So finally you have unlocked another milestone on the forum man so congratulations to you for reaching the merit mark of 9k merits. So now there are two members currently in the 9k club with you and @El duderino_ and will be joined soon by @DdmrDdmr who is 48 merits left behind to embark the journey with you.

But again congratulations to you and hope to see you in 10k club soon as you have helped many other members to reach their next goal so you will also reach there soon.Best wishes to you for the same.

Most gamblers end up gambling on their mobiles way more often than their desktops which makes sense due to reasons like portability, higher usage etc. I tend to have more fun gambling on mobiles too.
I said that for me gambling upon desktop is best rather then on mobile devices because I have more better experience on wide screen and access all the features. But yes there are many gamblers who wager on the mobile device as all don't have desktop device with them so it depends on our personal preferences.
927  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: December 30, 2022, 05:26:06 PM
maybe you have to use a cellphone device that is of good quality and a fairly strong internet network. but for me Rollbit is a very friendly gambling platform to play on mobile or on desktop
The internet connection has to play important role in loading these sites and Rollbit is mobile compatible as well but I suggest even if you have good quality mobile phone place bets on desktop only as it's better to have it on big screen without any issues. But yes I login sometime from my mobile and it take few seconds to load the home page.
928  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 30, 2022, 05:11:58 PM
Places that are accepted by governments, such as coinbase, would not be able to steal your money and that is the important thing to see in this situation, regulations do matter, and they are there to protect you.
The regulations are actually made by the government to keep track record of these platforms and have tax from them in the first hand not for users safety. They will ask them to track you as well but if you say about coinbase then do you think they cannot scam you just because of regulations then you are wrong man.You need to be responsible because many government don't accept crypto as legal so funds are your responsibility.
929  Other / Meta / Re: What one change would you like to see in bitcointalk in 2023 on: December 30, 2022, 04:55:46 PM
There are many requests we have at this time but one that others have said and discussed before also is a pop up box for newbies while registering giving them idea about forum and important links so they don't have to ask it in making lot of threads would be great addition to the forum so there are other requests as well but we need to wait for it.

Doesn't even necessarily need to be an app. I just want better UI/UX for mobile. Heck, I'd be very happy even with just having a responsive UI alone.
That would be big relief for mobile users and whenever I login from mobile device it's hard to explore the forum and write posts as I have to make it compatible to my screen for eyes comfort but see if we have it anytime and yes improvements are good rather then having extra app.
930  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’ on: December 30, 2022, 04:36:28 PM
It is even better when there is some factual and logical basis to come to such "questioning" conclusions.
It's always better to support any statement with logical assumptions which helps to validate the claims but some are mere debates which are carried this way only and in this tweet was made with the same intentions just to have some attention towards the account.Although I have tried looking for some information about selling but didn't find any indication to that.

Totally agree with such an approach.
Even more because Bitcoin doesn't need promoters, saints or leaders.
Absolutely it has gained so much attention not because some influential people have promoted it like shitcoins but because of what it is actually like the true example of decentralisation and profitable scenarios to holder as well.So if we look into past growth also we will find that why it doesn't need any so called saints for its promotion and have the capability of growing with time. The people realise how good it is and to have the monetary freedom with them the adoption curve moves upwards.

I bet on Manchester United clean sheet yesterday and the odds was great though. Im not gonna highlight it that much but I wanna show you something today and I think this is what I'd like to call Rollbit's christmas gift ( or late christmas gift )

I was actually smiling the whole time when I hit all those huge multipliers lol. It was a $0.1 bonus buy though valued at $17.89
Great win man and congratulations for the win as you have received preety good amount as after Christmas gift from Rollbit slot with small amount and is this one of the big multipliers you have hit in recent times? The bonus buy valued at $17.89 was lucky for you as received $617 out of it so happy for you being fellow gambler.Enjoy it and if possible save some amount from it and put them aside.

So congratulations to all the winners of this month prediction contest with @Woodie being closet to the price at what bitcoin was trading at that time and all others as well. But @LFC_Bitcoin missed his hatrick this time but maybe in the next one he come back  Grin

There was a mistake i guess, my predicion was 15,710€ and there was a player "kryptqnick" which told 15,700€ which is near to 15,659€
I aslo noticed after your post that user has submitted €15,700 as his prediction and was close to the amount so he should be on the list so wait for response from them till then.
933  Economy / Economics / Re: MicroStrategy Buys $250M in Bitcoin, Calling the Crypto ‘Superior to Cash’ on: December 29, 2022, 04:29:27 PM
it seems the whale chart is trying to suggest he wants to short the market of his 132k coins and put a buy in to create 182k

which basic math suggests
sell at $16.5k =$2.178b
which would need a buy in at the rate of ~$12k/btc to yield 182k coin

its a bit late to be playing games to suggest influencers are going short.
everyone knows this is the era of going long.
Right at this time they would not take the risk of selling the coins like he said and buy back because their average price is still $30k around and they are in accumulation phase at this time with addition of 2500BTC and if they have decision of selling they wouldn't have made the purchase so it's not right.

I wouldn't comment this tweet.
This is clearly bullshit coming from an anonymous account with a clear agenda in mind.
As already pointed out by @Lucius that account is in rush to attract followers and you can clearly see his pinned tweet saying whosoever actively reply to his tweet grows his account and what his intentions are.And there are some attacks on Saylor as well in other tweets in order to promote his account with such tweets.

The Saylor has also said about bitcoin LN solutions and application in 2023 and have clear agenda in his mind with accumulating more and more bitcoin at every dip so why should he sell at loss and again hold for even more long term to regain his profits position? So this tweet has no meaning as if you follow Saylor Twitter and see his spaces you can have idea about his next moves and holding of bitcoin.
934  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Merit] Share your best posts/threads with Fillippone to be merit assessed on: December 29, 2022, 04:14:51 PM
There is a quick solution to find out how many apps someone has already submitted in this thread. I recommend the ninjastic.space tool and search for the username and enter the topic id.
It's really helpful tool and have used it multiple times whenever I need to extract some forum related information about posts, merits or members as you can filter out the results and have optimised results with you very easily.I have also recommended members to use it as search function instead of using forum search which shows messed up results but the problem is many members here might not ise it or find it hard if say about new members so they can have idea about round they are participating as post submission for merits in this thread.

You have written word app for submission? I think it's more of posts members are submitting not apps for merit evaluation and specifying the Round is good to have an idea how many posts each member has applied for.But we should keep the thread for the purpose it is made and not have lengthy discussion over it.
935  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any security risk of running a bitcoin node? on: December 29, 2022, 03:57:24 PM
If we are simply running bitcoin node from our connection without following any security measures then we are always at risk of being tracked by digital footprints so as suggested above Tor is the best alternative for you if you plan to run a full node and help the network. But also keep in mind that you need storage as well to maintain the record of all the transactions. You can have a look at this article for more details.

I don't think it would be very profitable for right now to mine Bitcoin and buy ASIC miners, but in theory you could do it and if done correctly with cold storage backup nobody could hack you.
It would take him long to cover the expenses if he have something like buying ASIC Machine for mining but even if he joins some mining pool sharing his hash power what he will get in share will be small but if he plans to contribute it that way he can try and gain some sats storing them in his wallet safely and when price surge he can have good profits. But if don't want to get traced then he needs to follow the security steps and bumping his IP with these methods.
936  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: December 28, 2022, 04:44:45 PM
but Rollbit site works fine on my phone. i bet on Slots and Live casino never failed to bet because for me Rollbit platform is good enough on my phone, never had any problem while betting
It also works fine on my mobile device but have personally not placed any bet from mobile phone and whenever I am in need I switch to desktop site mode from settings and adjust it accordingly but he might be facing some other issues as it loads and run on my device good.
937  Other / Meta / Re: Where should I post my announcements? on: December 28, 2022, 04:34:02 PM
Another thing is you need to buy copper membership because you're still a newbie and you can't attach image [1] usually people doesn't interested with a plain text announcement, so it's better for you to create/hire someone to design the announcement thread of your project.
Although he don't need to buy copper membership as he already have received 7 merits and will get the required activity in next two distribution period or say roughly in a month if he remains active for the period. But yes as he into promoting a business here then buying a copper membership will help to gain a little more trust among members and have well designed ANN thread for his announcement.

You have been already suggested the specified board for your projects and gambling related discussion goes into gambling board only so you must have your thread there and see if you can have some users for it but rank up to junior member or buy membership if you want to post images.
938  Other / Meta / Re: Request: New Local Board for Pakistan (Urdu) on: December 28, 2022, 04:20:14 PM
I really don't see what the drawback or issue for the forum admins on not creating the board. Maybe they have to do a bit of programming to set up the board and assign a moderator for the board. Fail to understand the exact reason for delaying board creation???
You have registered on the forum back in 2015 so how many how new boards addition you have seen from @theymos till then? It's not that if there is no drawback they will have it implemented on the urgent basis and they will take time considering lot of factors. The Nigerian community has it's own board after years of request and actively participating in the local thread discussion with lot of merits as well so @theymos have a separate board for them now.So now same is the case with Pakistani board as well and if @theymos find it suitable he will make addition for it if he find it's needed otherwise they can keep their request bumped and community support in future.
939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Fools Gold on: December 28, 2022, 03:51:23 PM
The word centralised always have some strings attached to it and all these projects offering you high APY have set up with motive to earn personal profits out of your pocket and you loose like in this case.If we say about DeFi then we see lot of hacks in it as well like Ronin network hack worth $600 Million so do you consider it safe? We need to get more awareness that how to keep your funds safe and in your custody.

This is a mix of "if it's too good to be true then it's a scam" and "never keep money for long on centralized platforms". Both keep to be preached and people still keep ignoring that in the name of earning some more fiat (ie fools' gold). Too bad.

I've read too about Midas. It's just another one that bites the dust. 2022 has made plenty of casualties.
The people usually get attracted to high yield projects without even looking into the details that could end up their funds with these projects and they have high chance of rug but still they are ignorant enough derived by the greed factor that they invest money in them.We already have lot of case examples and information about how they are making fool of people through these lucrative offers and then stake your funds offering returns but you in end get nothing but still they ignore these examples and preaches going by their mind into scam projects.
940  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I found here. on: December 28, 2022, 03:33:35 PM
Welcome to the forum @OP and you have been suggested the right place for having adequate knowledge about bitcoin if you are interested to have and explore different threads and engage yourself in active discussion here. But I am also curious to know like others is there a subject in your school that have bitcoin usage in it or some teacher in your locality voluntarily educating you about it? There are some threads on forum where we see members spreading awareness about bitcoin to neighbour and school kids so is it same kind or something different would you tell us?

However, because you will have a lot of questions and want to avoid asking what has already been discussed many times, learn how to use the forum's search feature.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5276341.0
But I think he will be in more complex situations to filter out the results with the forum search function as it's kind of messed up while giving out the results. However we can filter out our request but still hard so my advice is to simply google search with bitcointalk.org at the last and will be presented with most of the threads having your keywords as follows:

Code:
 How to make tables bitcointalk
How to make bitcoin wallet bitcointalk
How to rank up and have merits bitcointalk
