What do you mean in the whole post. I don't think I really understand you well. Are you in anyway saying that the exchanges prevent the bitcoin price rise or they in a way influence it with the spot price. This therefore means that if there are no exchanges, the market movers will trade bitcoin directly against ordinary users to give the true value of bitcoin?

I quite understand you on this, there is not type of work that is as easy as reciting A,B,CD... There is some level of commitment and stress which obviously differs but more of the pressure is offline.
As you have noted that it also depends on your working relationship with your boss. But then there are also other types of stresses which can be,
1. Transportation to and fro working with the risk associated with it.
2. Distraction at work place by colleagues
3. To task of always dressing corporately even against your desire.
Working from home settles all these and also avoid noise pollution for those working in construction companies and marker place.

I think Op just used trading as an instance. There are many more ways to earn online rather than trading.
I appreciate online earning more than offline earnings. I have earned both online and offline. I started earning offline big before online but I tell you that the;
1. Stress
2. Commitment

Whales have the power to manipulate the prices of coins and this is more evident in altcoins that has lower price and low market cap. Bitcoin is not very easy to manipulate this team, you are definitely gonna risk so many resources which may turn bad for you.
Talking about if whales own 51% of bitcoin whether it will affect decentralization. The 50% attack is not about the number of bitcoin owned but the computational power. So, nothing will happen to decentralization because bitcoin network is based on PoW and not PoS.

It should be a sort of balanced thing. You get criticized when necessary and you get praised when necessary. These two will form a moving force that will propel you to greatness. If you are always being praised, it will also give a sense of wrong judgement and will not motivate you to do your best.  You will definitely think you are the best and therefore you have arrived.
That can also be said for criticism. When you are overly and unduly critisized, you will tend to lose your confidence and self esteem.

One is not always motivated through criticism. At times we do not need to be criticized to do more. We just need a simple couragement. Be it constructive or destructive criticism, everything has its time when it is time for you to be praised or encouraged you need the encouragement or praises and when it is time to be criticized you need the criticism. Constant and continuous criticism will however infusion in you some antagonistic spirit and will make you to achieve your goals in a more desperate away.

There are different types or levels of addiction.
It is only someone who is sick and admits that he is sick that will go to doctor in search for good health.

In the context of centralized exchange, Binance does p2p and it is fine. They are centralized and their own pattern of p2p must also have a central mediator to avoid cheating and abuse. Even in the context of the real escrow that Satoshi mentioned in the whitepaper, even Bisq altered it.
Everyone should do what works for them and bear the consequences. You cannot tell a big day trader that trades with the volume of 50k to 100k to be moving their funds everyday after trading. Everything is risk and reputable exchanges does fail that way with a public alert in the name of FUD.
