961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's first tweet since 2018? on: October 05, 2023, 10:28:32 PM
Source: https://twitter.com/satoshi/status/1708886029636137256

As I was about to sleep, I came across this one. Can't believe he made his first tweet since 2018.

Here's Satoshi's latest tweet and I quote:

"Bitcoin is a predicate machine.  Over the following months, we shall explore different aspects that were not explicitly contained within the white paper.  These aspects are all parts of bitcoin, and are important.  Some of these ideas were touched upon in the early years; now is the time to extrapolate and explain."

When I look at the comments of this tweet, there are mixed reactions like he's not the real Satoshi, scheduled post, he just got out of jail, etc.

But his account has blue verified check mark at least.

I don't know what to say but he does have some plans in store for Bitcoin. What's your take on this guys?

I have observed several tweets that this account has made, most of the tweets occurred in 2018 and all of them are just copy pastes from Satoshi's writings on the BTT forum, there is no evidence that he is the real Satoshi, I'm sure he accidentally has the nickname (@) Satoshi. The real Satoshi wouldn't be careless about exposing himself/herself, especially now that Elon Musk has Twitter, so there's a big chance he'll be able to track all Twitter users.
962  Economy / Gambling / Re: make some developments related gambling on: October 05, 2023, 07:56:28 PM
i would give some suggestion to make developments related  gambling up to that time

Online Gambling Online gambling continued to grow in popularity, with a wide range of casino games, sports betting, poker, and other forms of gambling available on the internet. .

Also Mobile gambling apps and websites became increasingly prevalent, allowing users to place bets and play casino games on their smartphones and tablets. The convenience of mobile gambling contributed to its expansion
countries make some positive work in this process to regulating online gambling to ensure consumer protection and generate tax revenue

I'm sure that all online gambling business owners are very aware that smartphone applications are really needed by many players nowadays, but there are quite a lot of obstacles that will be faced if their online gambling smartphone application is made, such as being banned by the government and so on. Nowadays, most people only believe in downloading APKs that come from the Play Store and App Store, and the problem that occurs is that not all countries legalize gambling, so not all gambling site APKs can be accessed in countries around the world, whereas if only By focusing on websites alone, there is no need to worry about being banned by the government, even from countries that prohibit gambling. In conclusion, the online gambling site application is good but it will not be effective throughout the world so its development will not run well, business owners will only waste their money..

...
Well it's no suprise to me and thats why so many people here actually advise not to force someone into bitcoin knowledge and in the case of fraud, well even the fiat currency are use for scamming not only bitcoin. The world is designed to always have certain lazy people who always tend to take advantage of people naive nature. Bitcoin is something that always speaks for itself and that's why people that will be interested will always come around no matter what time its takes them.

talking about someone's fear of investing in bitcoin, it's not easy to persuade them to invest in bitcoin, I once told about a friend of mine who broke up with me because he sold his bitcoin at a loss during the bearish market in 2020, at that time he said told me that I had deceived him by persuading him to invest his money in bitcoin, even though if he had just wanted to be patient then there would have been no loss because the number of bitcoins he had would never change, now I am sure he regrets all the impatience he did at that time, bitcoin was not designed for the short term, but for the long term.
964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for everybody but we must accept it before it can be ours. on: October 05, 2023, 07:15:29 PM
...
Bitcoin is for everybody, but we all have to accept it before it can be ours so I conclude that we must first accept bitcoin before we can have access to it and if you don't accept bitcoin you can't invest on it.

the same thing with your current partner, if you don't open the door of your heart to him at the beginning then the two of you will never be together, bitcoin is a very popular cryptocurrency but as time goes by there is a lot of FUD created, which is spread by the government and Another bitcoin hater, if you believe in FUD rather than doing your own research on bitcoin then you will never buy bitcoin ever. not everyone wants to accept bitcoin, don't be one of those who don't like bitcoin, you will regret it later!!
965  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: October 05, 2023, 06:42:53 PM
If I were to gamble at a casino like this, I would feel like I had been cheated. If mandatory KYC is implemented, the registration form should include a checklist or notes outlining the terms and conditions of agreeing to KYC. It seems like the casino is only interested in taking deposits and doesn't care about their customers receiving their winnings.
Not everybody like to do KYC on a casino based on our several idealogy and what we think about KYC. It doesn't make sense when a casino will allow us to register, fund account and play games on the casino without any KYC but when it comes to withdrawal of funds, that is where KYC will be mandatory. This kind of attempt does not make sense at all so we need to make sure that we ask questions about casinos we want to be using before we start using them because those people that had successfully able to make withdrawal on the casino after funding and making winning, that would aid us to know if the casino worth our interest or not.

Don't ever miss out on something like this, if you really intend to make a deposit at an online casino then the first thing you must know is their rules regarding KYC, don't let them not require it at the start but suddenly require KYC to be done when you want to withdraw your winnings. Apart from that, you also have to pay attention to the country of origin of the gambling site, usually countries that require KYC to be implemented on a gambling site are countries like the US and UK, there gambling is quite supervised, especially online crypto gambling.

967  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Seorang Youtuber Menjual Channelnya Karena Kerugian di Kripto on: October 04, 2023, 07:43:48 PM

968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: October 04, 2023, 01:50:01 PM
Addiction is tough, really tough. All types of addiction have the potential to ruin lives. There is help available but sometimes people have to hit rock bottom before they really feel the urge to change.

I wouldn’t wish any type of addiction on anybody. You can break the cycle though, you just have to really want to.

even being addicted to work can also endanger health and social relationships, so never be trivial about small things, when we do something excessively to the point of forgetting time and money then it's a good idea to consult with other people, don't let what we have built be destroyed instantly the result of the gambling addiction that we experience.

970  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Trading on: October 02, 2023, 08:18:52 PM
No trader wins all the time but your wins have to be more than your loses. anyone who has established him/herself in trading will know what to do when loses comes. if it appears like you are gambling you can put somethings into checks,  however you wont totally stop because of losses because you will lose whether you like it or not. for someone that is testing out a strategy or a newbie trader you will have to experience some loses on the way to perfect your strategy. after trying all things and  if it seems like its not working for you then you try other things maybe like using a bot or just investment.

I agree that not all traders win 100%, but using trading bots will only make you master nothing. Remember in trading, mastering basic skills is something that is highly recommended, then analytical and technical skills. There are many trading strategies that can be used but not all of them will work well for you, if you lose then that is still normal but if your loss is bigger than your win then you have to introspect yourself, of course there is something wrong with the strategy you are using and also the accuracy of your decision making.
971  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does bitcoin price increase after halving? on: October 02, 2023, 07:51:27 PM
Halving events have frequently been associated with increase in price of bitcoin with significant upward momentum both before and after halving. Bitcoin halving often generate increased market attention and hype. Expectation of lower supply and likely price increase may fuel positive feelings amongst investors and traders.

usually it will be like that, that's why many people collect as much bitcoin as they can so that when the halving happens, they will sell it at a high price (after the halving), another factor that influences drastic changes in the price of bitcoin after the halving is that the media will highlight it, and the news will spread throughout the world, this is what makes people interested in buying more. another habit of Bitcoin that cannot be eliminated is its price fluctuations. When the price of Bitcoin is at its peak, it is very likely that the price will change drastically not long after that, so an investor or short-term trader will take advantage of the halving moment to try their luck.
972  Economy / Economics / Re: Honda Now Accepts Bitcoin and Ethereum As Payment Methods on: October 02, 2023, 07:34:30 PM
...
As the Heading implies. Honda the giant of Japanese automobile now accept bitcoin and ethereum for payment through a third party partnership deal with a blockchain payment system called FCF Pay.
Honda not only taken the bold step of accepting crypto as payment option, also managed to expand their already huge user base with this important development.

Source

With such an opportunity to spend btc to buy luxury cars-
*Will you be willing to spend your btc to buy car from Honda? Or any other automobile company that will follow the Honda's part?

*Which other automobile company would you want to also accept btc for payment?

*Is this news big enough to trigger market uptrend in the coming weeks, months?

In my country, Honda is the motorbike manufacturer with the largest sales, followed by Yamaha which has the largest sales of motorbikes, so news like this is good news which of course can influence the adoption of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the future. However, I am skeptical that payments vis crypto will be permitted by the government of my country, because in my country crypto currency cannot be used as a transaction tool, it can only be traded as a commodity.

As Honda's tough competitor, I'm sure Yamaha will not remain silent, they definitely won't want to be left behind by Yamaha, so I predict Yamaha will follow in Honda's footsteps (accepting payments via Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies).
973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Inspired Me To Invest In Bitcoin. on: October 02, 2023, 07:20:06 PM
...

Bitcoin is revolutionizing the financial market, making it the economy of the future you too can take a bold step to invest in Bitcoin if you haven't invested.

everything you think about bitcoin is correct, I add a little that you can invest your money in bitcoin even in the amount of $10, while if you invest in other things such as property, shares or others then it is impossible for you to be able to invest $10.
bitcoin is a great thing in this century, you are free to call it an investment asset and you are also free to call it a currency, in essence bitcoin gives you freedom. the growth of bitcoin investors continues to increase, especially young people who are looking for extra money, so it is very natural that the price of bitcoin is predicted to continue to rise.
974  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do I need a mentor in my bitcoin journey. on: October 02, 2023, 06:05:46 PM
I have made a bold decision to start my bitcoin journey. But just like every a new born baby needs close care and attention to grow I really don't want to make a mistake in any thing I am doing. I have this question to ask.
''Is it advisable to to have a mentor who I can always go to as a newbie in the crypto space or I should rely all my knowledge on things I read online for my growth.

I think you have to read a lot to increase your knowledge about cryptocurrencies, getting guidance from seniors is good but you can't keep bothering them, I was a beginner too but I didn't have a mentor to increase my knowledge, I read a lot and I just asked a few trusted members a little, believe me as long as you read well and painstakingly your insight into Bitcoin will develop.
975  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of NFTs have a market cap of zero on: October 02, 2023, 05:53:42 PM
Quote
One of the latest studies conducted regarding the NFT market found that 95% of NFT collections have a market capitalization of 0.

The unveiled reality of the NFT market: 95% of NFTs have a market cap of zero

The bearish market has been affecting the whole crypto industry downside, but regards NFT niche, it has been worst. Almost all NFTs have a market cap of zero, meaning investors and adopters have completely lost interest for them after so much hype and excitment we saw during the year of 2021.

Does it mean NFT is a scam sector of crypto market, or is their concept good, but the execution of the projects are wrecking everything? Is it still possible for NFTs to recover their credibility?

according to predictions that there will be many NFT assets that will have almost zero value, since the emergence of the NFT phenomenon, it is clear that the value created from a piece of NFT is only based on hype, there is no clear use case, everything is created purely by hype. When the majority of NFT assets are at the peak of their hype, we often see unreasonable prices, it's really a pity for those who buy expensively but now suffer big losses because what they hoped for didn't work out well.
I predict, it will be difficult for some NFT assets to have great value again, people have already left it.

976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How is the chance of $PEPE to become the next $SHIB? on: October 02, 2023, 05:31:27 PM
I don't follow developments in the price of $PEPE or $SHIB so I can't provide further feedback on this, but I'm very sure that $PEPE will not be able to imitate the valuation of $SHIB, because $PEPE doesn't have support from influencers, I don't advise you to make these two meme tokens your main investment, apart from the amount which reaches billions, the amount can be reduced or increased, as well as the price fluctuations which are only based on hype.
977  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we improve our country's economy by on culture or ecosystem? on: October 02, 2023, 03:26:53 PM
I live in one of the Asian country and I am very much agree and I can relate this with my experience, my parents weren't so educated and they are too busy working to teach me anything about money, I wish the school could teach me about money management, and I think there are many people facing similar issue. After I get my first job, working and earning money was easier for me than managing money, the only thing I know was saving money to my account, nothing about how much can I spend for entertainment, for food , etc. I only learn about those thing and other financial thing from the internet.

Most of us are the same; school doesn't teach us how to hustle and earn money; they just teach us what is written in the book and prepare us to find a job. There is no business or other financial stuff that was taught to us; we need to discover it on our own. We know that we can learn it from the internet, but it is still good if we can also learn or tackle the basics of it in school because that is really one of our goals in life.
I also feel the same way, in my education I have never found the knowledge of making money immediately, when I finish my education it will seem strange that education alone will not be able to do anything to make money and this is a very sad thing, so I have to trying various types of jobs in order to make money.

Schools in general only prepare us to be ready to become workers, so it is very rare for entrepreneurs to be born from academics unless they really have big intentions of becoming entrepreneurs rather than workers, things like this have also been a big problem in our country for quite a long time, even for me at the beginning after graduating from college, I'm really confused about where and what to do. However, education is very important and has become part of the culture throughout the world and usually those who are highly educated will be more respected than those who are not educated.
978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My regret for not adopting bitcoin earlier. on: October 02, 2023, 02:15:42 PM
I was introduced to bitcoin in 2013 by my friend, but I was skeptical about it. Back then I believed it was one of those investment schemes that usually crash within a short period of time . My friend tried everything he could to make me understand that bitcoin is the future of money, but I gave him no listening ears, he got tired of talking to me about bitcoin. I was waiting patiently for the day he will come crying to me that bitcoin has crashed and all his investments gone.
But to my biggest surprise and to my loss, I have been waiting for over a decade now and bitcoin has never crashed instead it has been gaining popularity and global adoption. My friend who first told me about bitcoin is now a millionaire in dollars. This happened before my very eyes and I have been a regret for not listening to him when he was talking to me about bitcoin. I haven’t made any significant progress in my financial life since then, but I was presented with the opportunity to change my narrative ten years ago but I couldn’t. Today marks it exactly ten years since my friend talked to me about bitcoin. I decided to take the bold step to adopt bitcoin and spread the knowledge to others. After reading many articles about bitcoin I have come to realize that bitcoin is the future of money. I have also learned the bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. But I am ready to start up this journey with due diligence and continuous learning because knowledge is power. I will do my best to promote bitcoin to the people around me, to the villages and communities around my region. I’m doing this so that people will get to know the truth as I don’t want others to have the regrets I have today. I want to give people the same opportunity that my friend gave me ten years ago. I will do my best and the choice is theirs to make. I will never give up on my quest to spread bitcoin to others. So help me God!!

So take your failure in the past as a valuable lesson, then spread the news to other people, I know what you are doing is not easy but if you are consistent with what you are doing then I am sure you will get great respect  from the community you build.  bitcoin in the past 10 years was still small but bitcoin in the next 10 years will be bigger than now, bitcoin is the asset of the future.
979  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you manage your finances and family if your income is low range? on: October 02, 2023, 08:57:35 AM
There are many people around us, where their income is not enough to manage a family how do you manage your family and economy? There are many people who manage their family very well even though their income is very low in their personal life, how do you manage it?

I admit that my monthly income is not large, so it is to cover the costs of daily needs, our family lives frugally and only eats at restaurants on important days. From what I've noticed, if it's just to survive then there are many people who are able to do it, but often the desire to have luxury goods and live a hedonistic life makes people forget how much they earn each month, don't let your lifestyle damage your family's finances, think again about how difficult it is for you to make money now (I'm also thinking about that).
980  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Let fear to lose be motivation to learn on: October 01, 2023, 07:41:47 PM
Since I know cryptocurrency my biggest fear is to lost all my capital or large amounts in trading or investment, because of the fear in me I don't do things that I'm not sure of or things I don't know. My fear to lose have always been a motivation or a reason for me to know things concerning cryptocurrency,  I fear to start trading when I'm of myself that I know nothing to trade , fear to start investment when I know that I don't have a source of income.

My fear have been a motivation to learn,  even If I start trading I may lose but not to lose everything because of the understanding I have. My fear to lose have always made me to take the right decisions and not to make money money my first ultimate in trading and investment but understanding as my first priority.

I know some of my mates who are into  cryptocurrency that phobia to lose but even with the fear to lose they still go ahead to trade. If beginners allows their fear to motivate them to learn first their won't be drastic lose in trading.

I'm not sure whether fear in trading is a good thing, because you won't accomplish anything in trading even when you feel technically proficient and so on if your fear is greater than your courage to make a move. Learning is indeed important, but studying too often will not make you immediately make a profit in trading, you have to trade directly while you continue to learn and evaluate your trading history in the past so that in the future you will use a better strategy.
