1281  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: June 05, 2023, 01:42:03 PM
...

Well there is one way where you can take loan to invest in bitcoins but for that they need to be meet certain conditions. First you should take loan at a time when the bitcoin prices are very low so that when the bitcoin prices rises you can get maximum profit from that investment.

Secondly and more importantly you need to have money that you can return periodically to the person to whom you have taken the loan. Obviously the amount which you invested in bitcoin you would not like to cash out at time when the bitcoin prices are lower or your set target is not met.

it is indeed quite risky to take a loan to invest in Bitcoin, especially if we take a loan from a bank where it has high interest and accumulates. if it is true that the investment we made in Bitcoin using the borrowed money is successful, it will be able to give us a high profit. but if it's the other way around, you can imagine how we have to bear the debt + loss, plus the accumulated interest if we only pay the minimum payment.

therefore the best way to be able to invest in bitcoin is with money that we are willing to lose. even if the value of our investment decreases, at least it doesn't give us debt, because we use our own money. investments like this are safer and of course our sleep will be better because we are not disturbed by debt.
1282  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: Menghindari Kesalahan Ketika Mengikuti Hype Yang Sedang Terjadi on: June 05, 2023, 10:48:52 AM

1283  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your personal debt reduction method aside the debt snowball method? on: June 05, 2023, 09:44:54 AM
this method is quite good considering that we can pay off our debts in a more controlled manner and maximize the funds we use. we can avoid piling up debts and make debt more effective. Listing all of our debts will also make us more aware of our future ability to pay off these debts and take the necessary steps to increase income and settle these debts.

but for debt with accumulative interest, it's good to prioritize it first because from my past experience, I don't prioritize debt like this and in the end after calculating the total accumulated interest this is quite high too and can pay off some debts. so it's a good idea to prioritize debt with accumulated interest to be able to avoid ineffective debt payments.
1284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A opinion on regrets on: June 05, 2023, 08:44:42 AM
We regret about missing Bitcoin, then about XRP then about Ethereum then Doge then Shiba then Pepe (these are some top of my head and from what I've come across in my crypto term).

Point being there are always new opportunities and dwelling on regrets is futile.

for me personally, i'm lazy enough to regret something like that, because i think the opportunity is always there in the crypto market and i think there is no need to regret it because if there is another chance you can try it and if you are lucky you can get a higher profit from the previous.

so stop wasting your energy on regrets, instead you can learn and try to invest again in potential assets and see how crypto will trend in the future, because it's much better.
1285  Economy / Economics / Re: MONEY IS THE MOTIVATING FACTOR, what do you think? on: June 05, 2023, 03:59:11 AM
Money is a good follower, but is a poor leader.

Money will always lead you astray, but it will follow you well.

Any man that seeks to follow money becomes misled.
Money is meant to follow you, while you are meant to follow value.  Create value, solve problems, and do it well, you'll attract people to follow you; remember, money follows people with value.

What's your take on this?

i quite understand what you are saying. when we set our sights completely on money, we will tend to be afraid to lose it and when we do lose it, we will become quite mad, and we will look for money again, and so on. but when we focus on ourselves and our efforts, the money will follow, and when we lose it, we tend to think less about the loss and take it for granted, and this is the thinking of many rich people in the world.

but there is no denying that many people focus only on money because of their various needs and there is nothing wrong with that, but it's good not to focus too much on money because if so we will easily be disappointed and even crazy if we lose it, that's my opinion.
1286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Quick Bitcoin questions on: June 05, 2023, 03:16:27 AM
Why does it feels like Bitcoin is a better fit for store of value than a payment solution?

Is payment the substantial use case of crypto? If yes then where do you think Bitcoin stands? It cost me 0.20$ to make transactions on other payment solution that's not Bitcoin and it costs me over 1$ to make transaction with Bitcoin, isn't the cheaper always the better choice?

Since some crypto coins have cheaper transaction fee doesn't this make such coins a better fit for payment solution than Bitcoin?.and Bitcoin a better fit for store of value

if you calculate the fees for transactions in small amounts it might feel quite burdensome, but just imagine sending $ 28,800 in international transactions? how many fees do you have to pay if you use WesternUnion or Paypal services? not to mention you need to wait a long time to complete your transaction? and if they find out the transaction is for business but you use individual transaction your account will be frozen.

with bitcoin you are charged fees of around $ 0.84 USD for $ 28,800 (lightning network) and with less than a few minutes your transaction will arrive, you can imagine how profitable and fast it is to use Bitcoin in international transactions. the money arrives directly in your wallet and you don't have to worry about many things. so for international transactions it is great to use bitcoin.

Semi-final to Promotion Play-offs leg 1 of 2 today is underway

- Alaves vs Eibar ended with a score of 1-1
(Elbar played pretty well even though in minute 3 they had to play with only 10 players because arbilla got a red card but they were able to maintain a draw until the end of the match)

- Albacete vs Levante is underway
(Albacete as the host continues to put a lot of pressure on the Levante defense, it is very likely that this match will be won by Albacete)
1288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Force Your Children to Learn Bitcoin on: June 03, 2023, 06:00:46 PM
Teaching children on bitcoin is like the latest threads in the forum. It is good to tell our children about bitcoin in their tender ages but destiny is not something you force someone to achieve. Just like the general saying that "You can take a horse to the river but you cannot force it to drink the water". That's, it is good to tell your children about bitcoin but you cannot force him or her to learn bitcoin if it is not in the mind of the child and if that is not the child's calling in life.

Just like another instant again, it is a Ghanaian Play called "Sons and Daughters by Joe De Graft". The father wanted his daughter to study law while the some for medicine but the boy wanted to study Fine and Applied Arts while the girl wanted to study Theatre Arts but the father refused. There was a day the boy's friend drew Ghanaian President and the picture was bought with a very big amounts of money which was about millions and it was broadcasted on National TV and Radio Stations and the father heard about the news and he called his children and advised them to study what they like.

I think that play is a very big lesson to everyone in the contemporary world. So if your children are not interested to learn bitcoin please don't force them. Everyone has their own destiny.

true, something that is too forced will end badly, therefore it is better to provide knowledge to children about what bitcoin is, but the decision to accept or not is entirely up to them, we cannot force them to adopt bitcoin just like us. they have their own thoughts and we cannot impose our will.

but usually these children will quickly understand if they are directed without coercion, usually they will tend to be curious about what their parents are doing, and that can make them understand more about what bitcoin is and the possibility that they will adopt it too will get bigger, because they see firsthand that their parents enjoy the results of adopting bitcoin in their daily lives.
1289  Economy / Economics / Re: China reopening was a flop, if we're heading to deflation, what about Bitcoin? on: June 03, 2023, 05:03:56 PM
...
- do you believe we're heading to deflation?

i believe that we will lead to deflation, but of course the level of deflation for each country will be different, because it is related to their economic and foreign policies. even though in the future the deflation of a country, for example America, will have a domino effect on other countries, it will not have a significant effect on other countries, unless the country is completely dependent on America. so we're right into deflation, but it's not as scary as one might think.

...
- how do you think the price of BTC will be influenced if we do so?

it depends, it can have a good impact on bitcoin or not. it will have a good impact if during the deflation, people short sell their stocks or bonds and transfer them to bitcoin to get better profits. or they will sell their bitcoins to be able to secure the value of their investment, which will have a negative impact on the price of bitcoins. all possibilities will happen, but i hope in the first possibility.

1291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you use a VPN on a casino, even if it is not allowed in their ToS? on: June 03, 2023, 09:22:19 AM
don't shout that the gambling site is a scam, cruel, blah blah blah when your account is locked and your money is frozen (because) you yourself violated the TOS set by the gambling site.

the rules that are mostly set by gambling sites are absolute imo so when we break them the potential for us to get into trouble will be very large, I definitely won't use a VPN when the gambling site I'm going to play on prohibits it (but if they provide an exception then I will continue because in my country there are many gambling sites that are banned), they will definitely think I'm trying to cheat on their gambling site.
1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: He Committed Suicide After Losing School fees, And That Of Friend To Betting.. on: June 03, 2023, 09:05:24 AM
it is the duty of parents, teachers, and also the community to continue to monitor the small changes that occur in children, moreover, their mentality is still not stable. usually, suicide is done by people who want attention and are confused about the best way for them to solve the problems they are facing right now.

when the child dies due to suicide, the mental pressure that the parents will receive is enormous, because it is not easy to raise a child from a young age with great affection.

for the parents out there, keep an eye on your children, keep an eye on their association from gambling and free sex under age, and don't just be busy working, because children are a responsibility that God has given us.
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin is dead, long live ... what? on: June 03, 2023, 04:37:26 AM
your base saying that Bitcoin is dead due to just Ordinal issues doesn't make any sense at all. bitcoin is not dead, now or in the future, want to know why? because there are still many who have pinned their hopes on bitcoin even when the bitcoin market dropped in 2018, there are still many who still hold bitcoin, and the proof is that it managed to reach its ATH in 2021.

so just because Ordinal causing problems to the bitcoin network doesn't necessarily make bitcoin an unreliable digital asset, it just proves that bitcoin still needs improvement, and as long as bitcoin core dev can improve bitcoin for the better, I think that there isn't yet an asset digital technology that can rival bitcoin in terms of economics and architecture.
1294  Economy / Economics / Re: I hear de-dollarsotaion over and over again it's funny on: June 03, 2023, 03:28:23 AM
It's just funny it seems to me someone who really want to buy our dollars spreading this rumours.
Don't forget one thing in financial world all the news are either fud or FOMO nobody dont give here news just to inform others.

Smart question Will be when we Will see USD Market trading pairs being removed halted or replaced by other currencies?
It's just funny becouse USD still dominance the markets and not any time in future this not going to be changed.

And...brics..nations..china...russia..india...lol..give me brake.... it's joke.

this is not just a joke, this is a real threat to the USD denomination on the international market. Just imagine if many countries de-dollarized and shifted their economic direction to China? it would simply depreciate the value of the USD significantly.

so don't assume that the superiority of the USD will last forever, it will be lowered sooner or later, countries will definitely think which one is the most profitable for them, and maybe leaning on China now it is benefiting them the most as many countries in Africa and Asia region do and dedollarization is their best bet.
1295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: June 02, 2023, 08:28:41 PM
I haven't heard whether he will stay at Real Madrid or not, but if he will stay with Real Madrid for at least one more season, that would be good news. The reason is that Real Madrid still needs Benzema in the squad, because at the moment they have not found a player who can replace his role. Real Madrid must move quickly in aiming its target to get a replacement for Benzema. Because one of their weaknesses this season when they played without Benzema.

that's football, they have to continue to grow and Madrid also has to be able to move on if Benzema is no longer playing there.

what I have seen so far is when rumors blow, slowly they will become a reality (for example, when rumors of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi moving to the Arab League)

Quote
Reports say the 35-year-old forward is ready to end his trophy-laden 14-year career with Real Madrid and has been lured by a fantastic offer from Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad. It is reported that the Ballon D'or winner will earn a fee of 100 million Euros

to be honest, Benzema already has everything even he also has the world cup, so at the end of his career chasing money is a natural thing, besides he is a pretty devout Muslim so being there will provide well for him and his family (for now still can not be sure whether he will accept this offer or this offer has not happened at all)
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 02, 2023, 05:30:09 PM
The head-to-head that will be carried out by Roma vs Spezia will probably be quite an exciting match. This week will be the 19th week of the season and will be the 6th meeting between Roma vs Spezia. In the last 5 matches Spezia was only able to draw once, and in the other 4 matches Spezia had to lose to Roma.
Head-to-head will certainly benefit Roma greatly, but anyway I think Rome's current condition is not good. Roma failed to grab full points in the last 7 weeks out of 7 matches they played, so of course psychologically it will have an impact on the match against Spezia. I'm not underestimating Spezia even though they could potentially be relegated at the end of the season, but Roma will certainly have to work very hard to realize their plans of returning to the Europa League next season.

from the several matches that Roma has carried out in the past few months, Roma only won 1-0 over Leverkusen in the European League semifinals. it is Jose Mourinho's job to improve the morale and mentality of his players because if later on matchday 38 they lose to Spezia at home, I'm sure there will be a lot of ridicule thrown at Mourinho and the Roma players themselves.

Milan still has a chance to be in the top 3 (if Inter loses to Torino), the competition to get into the top 3 until matchday ends, is really tight.
1297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: June 02, 2023, 05:14:24 PM
A gambling addict doesn't necessarily have to be a drug addict as well, some of them might be but those are very rare cases. A drug addict generally doesn't have any money to gamble and even if they do, they are mostly not in their perfect senses and someone without any sense cannot gamble and even if they do, they can never manage to win anything.

Gambling addict who doesn't think that they are addicted or need any assistance is never going to let anyone help them out of the situation, only those gamblers who acknowledge the fact that they are in trouble because of their gambling habit can be helped.

only a small percentage of gambling addicts are drug addicts and vice versa but in several cases in my country are many crystal methamphetamine users who gamble on slots even for days on end because the effects of using methamphetamine they use are insomnia and very self-confidence, so that's not no wonder they love meth so much because of the effects they can feel from using it.

people who become gambling addicts + drug addicts, it is almost impossible to be saved, that person will definitely easily ruin their life.
1298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STAGNATION OF BITCOIN PRICE FOR WEEKS on: June 02, 2023, 03:35:06 PM
Bitcoin's price holds steady near $27,000 as investors consider debt ceiling developments. CoinDesk's former head of research writes that with much government efforts in such large, emerging countries as PAKISTAN and NIGERIA to curb crypto activity, citizens there seem to be turning to digital assets as a hedge.
The most valuable cryptocurrency in terms of market value (BTC) was currently trading at around $26,866, up 0.4%. According to CoinDesk data, BTC has been trading between $26,500 and $27,500 for nearly two weeks due to macroeconomic uncertainty. Crypto traders are uncertain as to how Bitcoin will behave over the next few days, weeks or even months.
The probability of default is quite low, but if it does, it might feel like a blow to risk appetite, sending cryptos sharply lower.
Bitcoin is content to trade towards the bottom of its previous trading range of $26,500 to $30,000.
Currently it's trading at $26,784.00.
Invest what you can afford to lose, it's good to hodl BTC if you can afford to lose what you intend to invest or what you invested 🌝

this is reasonable considering that until now global market conditions are still unstable and most of the government's decisions are not in favor of the bitcoin price movement, that is what has hampered the bitcoin price. right now there is no need to get your hopes up too high that the price of bitcoin will increase significantly, because we are not there yet.

bitcoin price could increase before the halving, chances are that it will increase significantly it will last a few months later, so if possible you can set up your current position to continue to hold and increase the value of your investment before the halving occurs.
1299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for newbies on: June 02, 2023, 02:31:53 PM
Know the Market learn the Market and it's very important to know it's financial and big instutions playground.
U got to know their rules of game.
I know the rules of game and i make all the moves according how the big guys and big funds moving.
Follow the rules of funds and wall Street sec and Fed and you Are good here.

everyone here already understands that if you can guess where the big players are going you will definitely profit in the market, but it's not as easy as it looks, it's quite difficult to be able to guess how these big players work, especially for newbies who are just getting into market.

so the best thing in my opinion is that you can play it safe by investing according to your abilities, don't be too forced, and increase your investment slowly, and hold it up to the point you want. never be consumed by speculation and stay focused on what you are holding now, just believe that it will be able to bring you profit.
1300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: June 01, 2023, 08:49:41 PM
ChatGPT is all the rage at the moment. I’ve seen that people are asking it to predict sporting events. Would you leave gambling decisions up to artificial intelligence? Do you see any potential drawbacks for outsourcing your bets to a software program? Has anyone here tried this yet? Do we need someone to put together a thread of ChatGPT predictions to see how accurate they are?  Any other thoughts?

too risky to leave our betting decisions to artificial intelligence imo, then I won't do it.
Just imagine, is it possible for ChatGPT to accurately and precisely predict yesterday's match in the European Cup final match between Sevilla vs Roma, I'm sure everyone must answer it's impossible.

it is not easy to be able to get accurate predictions, the data collected alone will not be 100% correct because soccer betting is still dominated by luck.
