1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: July 26, 2023, 03:57:24 PM
Japan played its second match and is currently two goals ahead of Costa Rica, Costa Rika must catch up with Japan if they want to keep the chance of qualifying from the group phase because losing to Japan will ensure they will be eliminated from the World Cup this time, but catching up is not easy because Japan is playing very well with defense and attack that is just as good, Costa Rika has not been able to make a single shot that can be on target so the second half must be a change from Costa Rica, but unfortunately as far as I have seen no team has managed to make a comeback after being left behind.
it was really interesting to see the enthusiasm of the people for the women's world cup was quite high, and the performance of the Japanese women's national team was very good this year, besides that the atmosphere around the stadium was also very supportive for the Japanese women's national team to dominate the match from start to finish. The 2 goals made by Japan put them in 2nd place in Group C at the moment.

The next game after this is Spain vs Zambia, if Spain wins, so the third match is no longer important, especially if Japan wins too, then the third match between Zambia vs Costa Rica will not have any impact on group C because it is certain that Japan and Spain will qualify and the other two teams will be eliminated, the second match in group c is quite decisive.
Spain successfully won 5-0 over Zambia, Spain's dominance was visible from the start of the match and there were even 2 quick goals created.. Spain and Japan are still very clean in Group C with no defeats though I'm still curious about the results of the third game (both teams).

...
I watched the video on twitter. It’s a good thing whatever he had consumed didn’t claim his life but he should have been taken to the hospital asap instead of allowing him lay there. He doesn’t look good.

Sadly, you’re right. News like this would continue to appear all over. People with irresponsible behaviors would in a bid to gamble more and in the process become reckless, take out loans from loan sharks cause no reputable financial institution would lend money out for the purpose of gambling. That’s where loan sharks come in. They’ve got money to lend when no one would seemingly lend you.

I think I could understand a little how pressured one may feel to go to the extent of taking his own life. In a lot of cases, suicide wouldn’t automatically clear the debt taken from a loan shark. The family of the deceased would sometimes be pressured to pay up the loan. A person under the heavy pressure of owing huge debts to unsavory people perhaps along with gambling addiction would think taking him out of the picture would solve everything. In a lot of cases, it doesn’t.

when you borrow money from loan sharks, will your debt be erased by death, of course the answer is no, loan sharks will continue to charge your family even though you are buried in the ground so don't ever borrow money from loan sharks for anything including gambling, it will only make it more difficult for yourself and your family.

but often human stupidity exceeds their common sense, they run out of capital when gambling and moneylenders look like saviors for them even though moneylenders are the ones who ruin their future, hopefully stupidity like this can decrease every year.

The whole of football world is anxiously awaiting the outcome of Harry Kane and Mbappe as the countdown to the forthcoming transfer window intensifies. Without a doubt both players clubs are uneasy about their probable departures. Fans of Bayern Munich naturally want to see Kane join the team but it is important to realise that the team is still very strong even without his addition. They can remain Bundesliga competitors if they have a strong team and capable management. Harry Kane has made a significant contribution to Tottenham, and it will not be simple to get him to leave. To improve their competitive prowess among the best in Europe Bayern Munich management must go above and beyond in their pursuit of the captain of the English national team.

this year's transfer window is really interesting, there is a lot of speculation about kane's future circulating, even though bayern has quite a number of attackers but the equivalent of lewandowski doesn't exist so bayern is working hard to find another center forward and harry kane is their main target, but some media report that kane is only interested in playing in the EPL, he won't go to other leagues so it's possible that kane will choose man utd.

bayern is a financially stable team, they should be able to look for other strikers and hojlund might be an option (man utd's target attacker)

If the reports about Mbappe and Al-Hilal's bid are correct, PSG has already accepted the 300 million and warranted Mbappe the right to have negotiations with Al-Hilal. For PSG it looks as if it is about the money and that they want to get rid of him at the right price. The discussions about him and also the attacks against each other between PSG and Mbappe are not very promising should they end up spending another season together. Mbappe will let the clock run down now and force all interested parties to raise their offer as long as they can.

the PSG president once said that mbappe would never go to madrid, so PSG management did everything possible to make mbappe not go to madrid and also get a big profit from selling mbappe, so when there was an offer from al hilal with an extraordinary transfer value, PSG management urged mbappe to agree to it.
however mbappe was reluctant to go there because he knew that if he now went to al hilal then his football career would be dimmed. madrid is mbappe's dream club since long ago, I'm sure the pressure and intimidation that PSG management will put on him will not work because he only wants to go to madrid.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 25, 2023, 08:17:01 PM
I think Napoli will be the most important player in this transfer window because there were many teams linked to this played and because of his performance we were even expecting to see a team like Real Madrid send him an offer to have Victor Osimhen for the next season but because of the huge amount of money, Napoli asks for this player that's a big hard for the team to even think about this player.

napoli is a team, not a player lol

Previously, there were three Napoli players who were highly targeted by the big teams, namely Osimhen, Min Jae An Kvarat, but so far only Min Jae has been successfully bought by Bayern Munich, for Osimhen and Kvarat, they are reportedly still gray. with osimhen's excellent form last season, he really deserves to be in real madrid, he is quite a talented striker as for kvarat, I'm a little worried he won't be fit to play in madrid.

other scattered information, newcastle is also trying their luck getting kvarat, it seems that Napoli will continue to be a concern in the transfer market.

1107  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Every Bitcoin holder Should Take a Cybersecurity course on: July 25, 2023, 03:42:38 PM
Every Bitcoin holder has to learn about cyber security. There are so many phrases like not your keys not your coins. There are topics covering how to secure your private keys, how to be careful and watch out for phishing emails, links, scams, keylogger and many others. For me the two most important reasons why every bitcoiners should take a personal course on cyber security are because crypto wallets are attractive to hackers and cybercriminals. Secondly, malwares and keyloggers ...there are too many malwares that try to record our details from the backend without our knowledge. Lastly, if the keys is yours, then the coins are yours, it lies on you take a cybersecurity course to learn sophisticated ways to protect your non-custodial wallet that has your coins.

I think that there has never been a time when bitcoiners should take personal Cyber security courses not for commercial purposes but for personal reasons for them to learn how to stay protected and secure their crypto assets.
What do you think?

"a home owner must secure his house from thieves who will definitely always target the contents of their home by providing good security against windows, doors and other funds that can be infiltrated by these thieves"

as well as laptops or smartphones that are currently owned by bitcoiners, hackers are very sophisticated and always have the smartest way to infiltrate a laptop or smartphone without realizing it, so it is important to have a little ability or knowledge about cyber security or what is the best way to avoid hacking or spying.
1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 24, 2023, 11:06:10 PM
In the pre-season match, Chelsea looked better than Brighton, of course with the arrival of the new coach, Chelsea seemed to have risen slightly from last season's downturn. My hope was that when the EPL started, Chelsea could really be much better than last season, while Arsenal suffered a defeat in the pre-season match against Manchester United yesterday. I think Arteta has to really evaluate that to be able to perform better in the EPL and UCL later.

So far Liverpool with the current squad team, I'm sure they are able to show the quality of their playing especially that they will also play besides the EPL in other championships such as the European league, apart from that Manchester City will definitely perform well in pre-season matches later, of course with the current squad team Guardiola is quite sure that their team can be much better than last season.  Grin

I like Chelsea's current playing style, they are really being trained by the right people, with Pochettino's distinctive playing style. 5-0 win over Wrexham and 4-3 win over B&H was a very good start for Chelsea before EPL gets back to run.
Many people highlighted the combination of Mudryk and Jackson, they performed brilliantly and opened up hope for Chelsea to be in the top 5 again. I don't expect much from Chelsea in the coming season, as long as they can play well and be compact then they will be able to keep up with the games of other big EPL teams like Man City and Man Utd.

1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 24, 2023, 08:48:02 AM
The success that Manchester City achieved last season was the result of the hard work they have done so far, Pep Guardiola's role is certainly inseparable from the success achieved by Manchester City. I can't say Manchester City was the best team last season, but after seeing the reality and the results that Manchester City got in several competitions, people can draw conclusions with the results that have been achieved.

In a match unexpected things always happen, Inter Milan has played well throughout the match, but the result of not being good at taking advantage of opportunities made Manchester City take advantage of the mistakes made by Inter Milan players. Surprise after surprise will return this season, the clubs that failed last season have reorganized their squad to face the challenges of the new season.

Those who don't like Manchester City must say that Man City was very lucky in the UCL final match against Inter and then, several opportunities were created but Inter were really unlucky, the teams that rearranged their squad this season definitely targeted to shift the dominance of Man City, especially in the EPL, Man Utd and Arsenal continue to relentlessly have ambitions to destroy Man City's dominance. if madrid succeeds in buying Mbappe then I am very sure madrid will again dominate the UCL.
1110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 24, 2023, 08:12:52 AM
But does it really matter whether Real Madrid would pay 180 million or 220 million? I think that Mbappe would be worth the money for lots of reasons. There is all the merchandise sales and Real Madrid would again be this club that was able to sign the best players in the world like they have done many times in the past. Their reputation would benefit again from that transfer and Mbappe brings in his following from his social media and he would not only be a good deal for Real Madrid, but for the whole league.

the value is fantastic if madrid has to pay mbappe at that rate and maybe mbappe's transfer will break the world record but looking at mbappe's performance so far, that is money that madrid deserves to spend and surely madrid will benefit beyond that, there won't even be a team in the spanish league that will be able to match madrid. barcelona and ATM definitely don't expect mbappe to go to madrid because the competition will be very tough. from rumors that continue to circulate, the president of PSG does not want to lose mbappe for free (free transfer)
1111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't expect everyone to embrace Bitcoin on: July 24, 2023, 07:38:30 AM
The earlier we understand that bitcoin is not for everyone, the better because it saves us the time and energy that we would have used to convince those who are uninterested, to move on to those who are interested and it can also drive adoption faster. I've read some threads here of some people trying to convince their family members on the positives of Bitcoin and get enraged if the said members don't share the same opinion as them but I feel everyone is entitled to his opinion and while some regard Bitcoin with outright disgust like Charlie Munger, there are some who care less of it's existence.

Bitcoiners have the opportunity to stand for something and that's eliminating the need for central authorities such as the government and banks and rather than forcing everyone to confirm to their beliefs, it's better to find an audience worth serving. What's your take, guys?

since the beginning of circulation, there will always be resistance to bitcoin and that is natural in my opinion. just informing the community that supports bitcoin I don't think it will be effective in accelerating adoption, I used to reject bitcoin but there was a time when I was very curious about bitcoin and finally I really felt the benefits of bitcoin. As bitcoiners, we also have a responsibility to share Bitcoin with everyone, of course, slowly.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 23, 2023, 09:15:23 PM
Kylian Mbappe would certainly not join any club that doesn't meet his own personal requirements just because Paris Saint Germaine management wants to get him sold so he doesn't leave for free when his contract with the club expires in next summer.
The player has made it clear that Real Madrid is his preferred destination so I think PSG's management should find a way to reach agreement with the Spanish club when they come knocking for the Frenchman. That I think will make things become easy for the three parties involved.

The funny thing is that Real Madrid is well aware that PSG is at an impasse, so they don’t even make proposals for the transfer of Mbappe  Grin Real Madrid is trying to squeeze all the juice out of this situation and it looks like they are succeeding. Even if they don't buy him now (I think they will), they will get him in a year, and PSG, which looked like a triumphant year ago, turned out to be a complete loser, since all options are not in their favor.

all power and efforts have been exerted by the PSG president to tie mbappe's feet to stay at PSG but mbappe is still young, he wants more achievements like the UCL while PSG are unable to give him that trophy. I'm also not sure if mbappe will officially move to real madridd as soon as possible, PSG really can't hold back the ambition of its players, after losing messi the next one to leave PSG is mbappe.
1113  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: July 23, 2023, 07:36:15 PM
Right we are gambling just with a hope to win otherwise we are putting all the funds at stake through our wager so we should be prepared for the loss and don't fee too much bad about it afterwards. If you win that's your luck but be prepared for loss scenario always.

discussing preparing ourselves for possible losses when gambling is usually called risk management and this is important so that we can prepare a strategy so that how much money we lose will make us stop playing.

Loosing money always hurts, but that is why you only need to gamble with money that you are prepared to loose. If you go to Vegas, your mindset just needs to be on having fun and having a budget that you want to spend on gambling; but you always you need to be prepared to loose it all as that is what most likely will happen.

For people who only have a little money, it's better to postpone the desire to gamble, forcing yourself will only create great stress when you lose because you can't afford to lose that money. like my answer above, risk management is important in all of our online or offline gambling activities, professional gamblers apply this strategy.
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: July 22, 2023, 10:07:56 PM
What religion?
What societies?
I don't know where you are from but in some parts of the world, women who gamble are seen as sinners and men, there, can' accept that a woman has the right to gamble and there is nothing wrong about it. I'm not talking about developing countries because in some developed countries men also think the same way. They can't accept the fact that a woman can afford to gamble and assume her responsibility when she loses.

I come from the country of Indonesia, here is the largest Muslim country in the world (in our country gambling is prohibited but here the betting market is very big), when a female gambler is detected, the general public will judge the woman as someone who is not responsible for her family and she will definitely be ostracized, you cannot equate social views on women in every country, patriarchy is still very strong and that is something that cannot be eliminated (that women should not gamble).

To Non English Users
Mistake is inevitable, if there is no mistake there is no correction, that is, people make mistake and through the mistake, corrections are made. Most users submit their post without cross checking the write up. So in many times omissions occurred and some ungrammatical statement occurred and English speaking users see them as trash, shit post without correction. It is better you reread you work before posting to avoid mistake. Be a good poster. Avoid mistake. But mistake is inevitable. It most come but not always.

to make posts on boards and sections in English, I always use google translate, It cannot be denied that Google Translate often gives wrong sentences, I saw several times that non-English users made very messy English posts, I didn't like that either and reported it to the moderator.

I continue to recommend that all non-English users use Grammerly on their Google Translate, Grammerly is very useful for those from other countries who cannot speak English, wrong sentences will be corrected and repaired automatically so that no spell errors are created.
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin competition. on: July 22, 2023, 08:52:58 PM
My new thought about the low investors rate on Bitcoin, this came to my mind this evening and I want to share my thoughts with everyone and not keeping it alone.
Bitcoin investors are much more than altcoins we all know that but thats not important, the important thing is Bitcoin is supposed to have more investors now if only their was no altcoins in the market, if you checked the numbers of investors you will understand what am trying to say. The competition in the market is making more investors not to invest more capital on Bitcoin.
If we use our fiat banks as an example, imagine we have only one bank in the country every citizens will want to open the bank and starts using it but if the banks are more people will spread and use other Banks.
If there's only Bitcoin in the market more investors will invest in Bitcoin because there is no competition. Although the price rate is much more than other coin, but people will still invest on altcoins because that's how Bitcoin price started so low.

the crypto market is like a cake, bitcoin has the biggest share in the cake (market) and the rest is just altcoins, that's very true if there were no altcoins then all investors would only glance at bitcoin, even so the purpose of creating altcoins was for various reasons, some were against bitcoin and some were actually created just to become memes like dogecoin. btw, several times it crossed my mind, is it possible that the majority of bitcoin investors have other coins they hold!
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: July 21, 2023, 08:09:09 PM
I even have a few female friends who are working from home. They say they work from home to help their husband earn money, and as long as it doesn't interfere with their household chores, it's not a problem, and on average, they can have extra income from working from home. And those who work from home are very good at managing their expenses, and when I asked them about gambling, they said they had never gambled because they and their husbands had committed never to gamble. After all, it could harm their lives. And I respect their decision. But perhaps other female friends don't want to admit that they also sometimes play gambling in their spare time but still within reasonable limits.

to be honest gambling activity is an activity that many people hide for several reasons, moreover there are social laws that claim that women who gamble are not fit to be housewives. the woman you told about did something good because she didn't gamble and respected her husband not to gamble, but maybe it's different for women out there, many of them gamble alone without their partners knowing or they gamble with their partners (each couple has a different way of maintaining their family relationship).

...

I forgot there was an off-topic board

But it's very quiet there. I'm not sure anyone wants to discuss there. I myself also just realized that there is an off-topic board after more than a month in this forum

you are wrong, the off-topic section has the most posts than the section begginer & help section or Meta section

The most important requirement for the topic that you create to be noticed by other members is that the topic must have great appeal - is a topic that is currently being hot discussed - will not result in spam postings or repeated answers, in essence you must have good literacy skills good and active in your posts so that the posters don't get bored in the posts you make.

other than that, don't make topics that have actually been made by other members but have sunk in for a long time.
1119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kuwait Bans Bitcoin and crypto payments, investement and mining on: July 21, 2023, 08:08:32 AM
bitcoin banned with accusations of being used for money laundering is FUD which is heard quite often and is used as an excuse by countries that don't like and support bitcoin. I am very sure that this accusation was prompted by the central bank of Kuwait, which does not want their business to be disturbed by the existence of Bitcoin there, even so, citizens who want to invest in Bitcoin can still do it secretly and without the knowledge of their government, access is not difficult (can use a VPN or take advantage of the TOR network).
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 19, 2023, 09:11:41 PM
I came across an article How Old Do You Have to Be to Gamble in USA?. In this article, i saw that the minimum age to gamble is between 18 to 21 years. I wonder if the online casino do follow this minimum age for gambling.

Yes, the gambling sites have our age data through the KYC documents. Do they ever restrict anyone who is underage to not to gamble?
Also, if we find any site allowing minors to gamble, can legal action be taken against them?
...

because every system in the casino is made by humans, there is no such thing as perfect, so gambling sites often have difficulty detecting whether those playing on their sites are adults or children, even though the gambling sites already require KYC because now there are many ways to manipulate KYC.

based on what I know, even in countries where gambling is legal, when casinos get a license they must obey the rules set and allowing minors to gamble is a serious violation so you must report to the authorities if you find minors gambling.
