Everyone knows the value of privacy online nowadays. Not only illegal entities are looking for ways to prevent others from tracing their blockchain transactions. Ordinary folks like you and I would rather not have prying eyes examining every little purchase we make online. We would also feel safer if our coins – the amount and where they go – are not shared with some random person online.

Because privacy coins are part of a world wherein a cryptomixer may be used to make it difficult to trace your transactions, you may be worried about just how legal they are.

However, this article will show you that there is nothing to worry about regarding the legality of using them.

I always read articles made by unijoin, as a reference and also add to my insight about cryptocurrency and its ins and outs, as a mixing service, unijoin has done a very good job Grin
1403  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex to shut its U.S operations on: April 28, 2023, 02:46:25 AM
even though I have an account at bittrex but I have never traded there again, it's been quite a while Smiley

This just came out: https://decrypt.co/136947/bittrex-faces-potential-enforcement-action-sec-report

I'm not very familiar with the laws and regulations in the U.S but how can this make sense if they already announced shutting down their operations?

I am also like that, I don't really understand the conditions of the strict rules that exist in the US but if I become the owner of bittrex then I will do the same thing (close bittrex service in the US) the regulations made by the SEC are very strict even the CEO of Bittrex claims that each States has different regulations so that it makes operational costs even more expensive.

Quote
California: Crypto exchange Bittrex, founded in 2014 by three Amazon alumni, is shutting down its US operations, citing a regulatory environment that has made it “no longer feasible” to operate in the country. In a tweet, Bittrex co-founder and US CEO Richie Lai said it’s “not economically viable for us to continue to operate in the current US regulatory and economic environment.” All customer funds are available to withdraw until the end of April, and its global business outside the US will continue to operate.

1404  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Being drunk while trading what was your experience on: April 28, 2023, 02:04:47 AM
I can't stop thinking about a trader who has a hobby of alcoholic liquor. we all know that when a person is drunk, his brain function decreases and that person will definitely not be able to control his self-awareness.
besides that how will he maintain his capital to trade while he has a hobby of drinking alcohol and the price of alcoholic drinks is quite expensive? even a trader with full awareness can make the wrong decision what about those who are drunk, I really can't imagine Shocked
1405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: April 28, 2023, 01:46:44 AM
The real addiction have made him change his behaviour which none could've expected. These kind of incidents happen often, but not for the purpose of gambling. In my country more number of suicides have taken place for the reason of losing big on gambling. Recently in an incident bank employee stole around $60k from the bank he works and ran away. Finally caught and on investigation he had done it to overcome the gambling loss that happened in the day.

but I see the case in the OP as too harsh, as a child and also a parent, I understand how devastated the child's mother feels when she hears that her child has been kidnapped and the kidnapper is her own father if I become the child's mother, then I will not reconcile with my father and will put him in jail, he has really lost his mind and maybe he will do something more reckless in the future like selling his grandaughter to a human organ trading syndicate just to gamble.
1406  Economy / Speculation / Re: The power of Bitcoin in global world on: April 27, 2023, 03:25:34 PM
Have you ever wonder how lucrative or powerful Bitcoin is in the crypto world.
And you ask yourself(especially as a beginner in cryptocurrency business) can 1 Bitcoin make you a millionaire? Now listen!
The  creator of swiss key, kyle kemper created a formula that determines how much Bitcoin one has to own in relation to the value of the world's wealth and the rise of a Bitcoin over time.
According to Kemper's formula: A person need a total of 0.06624605 BTC in order to guarantee wealth worth $1 million.

please include his prediction link because I tried to find the prediction you wrote but couldn't find it anywhere even on his Twitter account. but everyone is entitled to make predictions about the price of Bitcoin regardless of whether they are ordinary person or someone who works in technology.

as the half-brother of the prime minister of Canada, I doubt that the relationship between the two is fine, we know that Canada is not so friendly with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies even though they are planning to issue CBDC, I am curious what is the meaning of his prediction above.
1407  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it possible to get bitcoins for free? on: April 27, 2023, 02:47:14 PM
Maybe faucets can be considered as a way to get free satoshi, but I was talking about signature campaigns and they are way too different from clicking some button on the Internet. Using faucets require only some mechanical actions, you don't have to think about it. In contrast, signature campaigns impose rather strict conditions on participants, there are evaluation criteria, and not everyone can participate in them. There is a selection system, as in any job. And payments also often depend on the quality of the work performed, namely on the posts written by "employees". Of course, bitcoin you earned in signature campaign didn not require direct payment in cash, it is not a direct financial exchange. But they were earned, not received as a gift, therefor they are not free in any way.

I agree with your opinion, I also think that the bitcoin that are given to the signature campaign participants are not obtained for free, I myself am in a paid bitcoin signature campaign but I get bitcoin according to the weekly amount post that I made, if I don't make a post then I won't get anything.

There are only 2 ways you can get bitcoin for free, that is by using a faucet and participating in contests with bitcoin prizes, and in this forum there are often contests like that.
1408  Local / Ekonomi, Politik, dan Budaya / Re: BRICS vs Dollar AS on: April 26, 2023, 10:25:47 PM
...

1409  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does one start on crypto? on: April 26, 2023, 09:46:16 PM
Hi everyone, I would like to ask a very simple question on how to start on crypto if that is what it is called. The idea for me is in hopes I can just earn here and there mainly to help with monthly expenses. Not looking to invest like 5 figures but more of like 3 to 4 figure ranges to create that monthly recurring for my expenses.

I think the way/method that everyone uses to get crypto is not the same but a little advice from me is to start with what you are good at. Do you like writing - making photos/videos - active on social media - gambling - design - marketing etc., you can start from there;

but if you have more capital, you can become a P2P provider - miner - node provider, now all the choices depend on you, as long as you are patient - persistent - consistent then you can meet your monthly needs with crypto.
1410  Economy / Economics / Re: Argentina's Central Bank running out of dollars as inflation hits 100% on: April 26, 2023, 03:50:05 PM

It is important to note that while Argentina and El Salvador both suffer from inflation, the U.S. dollar is not legal tender in Argentina, and they have tight currency exchange controls, which create a black market for foreign and digital currencies.
SOURCE--

Previously, President Fernandez had discussed the possibility that Argentina would adopt bitcoin, but until now it was still just talk. but if Argentina really wants to get out of the current inflation, adopting Bitcoin will have a more positive impact on the country, coupled with providing social assistance to the poor, will boost people's purchasing power and surely the economy will move up again.
1411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spain's most anti-privacy and anti-crypto law comes into force. on: April 26, 2023, 02:58:19 PM
I don't think that the new privacy law passed in Spain will have a negative impact on Bitcoin, other than that usually rules like this will only apply to platforms registered in Spain (the effect is not so strong for platforms registered in other countries).

btw, since the chipmixer was seized, there are many countries that have tightened rules regarding privacy on the grounds of securing private data, preventing money laundering and tax evasion.
1412  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will you sell because of situations? on: April 26, 2023, 02:27:30 PM
This story is pathetic, the man who introduce me to bitcoin, his kid sis was knapped 2 weeks now and the kidnappers are asking for a huge ransom of  N10 Million Nigeria currency but the whole thing looks like a plan work from some people close to him because many people know him to be crypto dealer. Now this money is never available anywhere, the man's only option is to sell his bitcoin and even if he does is not up to the amount. Do you advise he sells and bail his kid sister?  Everybody is confuse.

Many things happens this days, putting you on a test! At what situations did you think you can sell your bitcoin and forget about bitcoin like it has never exist in your life. Knowing well the situation you're into many must have passed it and scale through without selling. What then will make you to sell even if the price is against you?

why not report it to the police, surely they will help the victim's family find a solution>

if I'm in a critical situation (such as illness or something else) then there's nothing wrong with selling the bitcoin that I'm holding imo, because there are important things that are urgent and can't wait for time. then how important is it to have a stable income so that the bitcoin that are being hold don't need to be sold when facing an urgent problem (just a suggestion for everyone).

1413  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is improving I guess? on: April 26, 2023, 05:47:52 AM
We are more likely to experience better end of the year, as of last two weeks Bitcoin was $23,000 but I can see some impressive changes hopefully the ends or mid of the year will make significant changes in price. Though am not excited much because  even if it pumps I might not enjoy the fat price, I bought when the price is high but now you will pity my wallet. Anyway we're sure of better 2023.

sorry OP, if I may know at what price you bought Bitcoin first?

as long as you don't sell it, the amount of bitcoins you buy doesn't change at all, only the value based on USD or your country's currency changes. we all believe that the bitcoin prices will go up (next few months or the next few years), and trust me that your patience will give you big results in the future.
1414  Economy / Economics / Re: SPENDING MORE THAN YOU EARN on: April 26, 2023, 05:09:10 AM
...

👉👉Shopping with a list
This is a lifesaver and a game changer. It’s so simple! Literally, all you have to do is write down what you need in the house that week. Make the list, and stick to it. If you only need to get chicken and vegetables and some pasta at the house for the week, there’s no reason for you to be going to the snack food section. It’s a trap!

👉👉Control your grocery list
Having meal plan can help you minimize your monthly expenditure. This helps you to stop spending money unnecessarily on food without depriving yourself of your favorite treats. This will also help you to plan your week without any worries and give you the insight of all what you need from the store.

👉👉Learn to say “no”
Not all goods worth buying at the moment. Although ads may be tempting but one should learn to go off any unnecessary items.

Reference: https://www.pnc.com/insights/personal-finance/save/how-to-stop-spending-money.html

CONCLUSION
It's good for one to satisfy his/her desire when making purchase of items but this shouldn't cause issues in ones lifestyle. The key to stop spending too much money is to create better money habits in your daily life. But I know that’s easier said than done. Putting one or all of these ideas into action, helps in building a healthy spending habit. Take control of your spending today and you’ll reap financial rewards for years to come.

people who shop so much (they are even willing to go into debt just to satisfy their shopping desires) that they can't control themselves are called "shopaholics". I have a friend who is like this (I happen to know her since I was a girl) and she is even involved in debt of up to hundreds of millions of rupiah just because of her crazy shopping and holiday tendencies.

shopping and going into debt only satisfies the desire for a moment, for the long term it is a very destructive habit, wise people will definitely only shop according to their needs, I have heard that the Japanese people's living habits are very good, they will only buy what is needed, not would be a waste of money.

1416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is $30 dollars worth starting bitcoin? on: April 25, 2023, 10:25:06 AM
Someone ask me a question after introducing bitcoin to him, if he can start up with $30 and grow with it but I told him bitcoin is wide and high in volume, price and market, that's means whatever you're starting with determine the outcome of the market like for example; if you start with $30 and eventually the market goes up to a little increase of $32 can not be compared with someone who started same time with you, at the rate $100.

So also when the market is down to some extent, the person with $30 may likely loss more because of the money is small. Blockchain has the minimum amount one can invest if am not mistaken but if your amount is too small may be difficult to make easy progress.

What do you think about my advised to him?

I see your suggestion is good. people who start investing in Bitcoin with small capital will only get small profits too, conversely, those who invest with large capital will get big profits too, but you don't explain that Bitcoin won't make someone rich in 1 night. btw, I'm already wary of giving advice to people who only invest small money in bitcoin, most of them hope to make 1 million dollars by just buying $50 worth of bitcoin LOL
1417  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Bitcoin Conference 2023 on: April 25, 2023, 08:22:31 AM

Tapi jujur aja ngeri lihat harga tiketnya gan.

harga tiket nya bikin kaum mendang mending seperti saya mundur cepat, wkwkwk

1419  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is money ruling the world? on: April 23, 2023, 02:55:59 AM
Money rules the world because a man who is a billionaire is respected and loved by everyone. Why? Because he has the superpower to control everything from money whether a person or a thing. We can’t even think a man who has no money in his pocket can easily rule the world. That’s the reason the world is only ruling by those who have money to do all the things that they want which is although a darker side of our lives.
which do you value more?  do people who have no money or who have money?  I'm sure you appreciate those who have money more.

not all billionaires are bad people (who use money to satisfy their dark side) but a billionaire is valued for the influence and power he has especially for billionaires who start from zero, they will receive more respect than billionaires who come from parents  .  to be honest, being someone who has a lot of money is not easy, it takes extra strength, perseverance and a good strategy so that all plans go well.
1420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: April 22, 2023, 10:39:28 PM
Reading another post, it crossed my mind that AIs and particularly ChatGPT could potentially be trained with a large samples of games played by poker champions and then put it to auto-play with amateur on-line players. If this is successful, it could mean the end of human on-line poker playing except perhaps for the world masters and the like. Has anyone tried? Would it be possible??

the development of AI continues to occur, but along with that the development of AI detectors and anti-AI also emerges, so when AI is able to become a great poker player, I'm sure many gambling sites that prohibit the use of AI or add rules will ban users who use AI, so for players who  really master poker, no need to worry about the emergence of AI.
