961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trading strategies how to turn 50$ into 100k$ in a month ? on: September 10, 2022, 11:08:07 PM
To b honest its not that hard to turn 1k$ into 100 or 150K $ u need to be at the rght place in teh right time or have the right experience n connections
Really?  But how can you determine a good coin to invest like the same meme coin that you've mentioned?

It might be they are just lucky people who picked a coin that's supported by the group of pump and dump.
It seems you gamble your money in that way, you didn't know the right time that you've said, the right coin that you'd pick.  It could be these meme coins will potentially make a profit but remember it can also wipe out your investment instantly when the value against the dollar rapidly down.

Bitcoin can also be profitable if you'll wait until the right time, it's safer than meme coins.
962  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: bitcoin telegram on: September 09, 2022, 11:49:40 PM
It is obvious you are trying to promote them.
It's obvious!  I didn't see better information on that group.
He/she didn't warn OP that the Telegram group is very risky for the newbie to fall into a scammer's trap.
Nowadays people should be careful on social media groups, especially Telegram, they're a house of scammers.

We've here a forum that publicly seen to anyone the transparency of the discussions (mining) and also you will learn reading from the previous discussions that might be related to your issues.
963  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Accepted crypto for trading on: September 06, 2022, 11:59:31 PM
Hello you guys,
Until now, there is no country officially accepted crypto for trading or purchase as I know. Can you explain why?
One reason could be they're afraid of accepting/adopting because they think that it could be a harm to their government banking system.  But in fact, it is not.  Because each government has its own perspective view on Bitcoin, those government officials who are open-minded and willing to adopt crypto, better regulate it than if they don't have benefits from it because people can still use crypto even though it's banned in their country.

Quote
Moreover, do you think that which country could be the first?
It's given above, country of El Salvador was the first country that legalized Bitcoin.
But this depends on your country, like my country it's not fully legally accepted but partially regulated.

965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I won't be buying Eth until the merge is completed things are running fine on: September 06, 2022, 11:32:47 PM
It's said as I've heard that the merge won't have an effect if you're holding Ethereum, still appear in your wallet so I don't think there's an issue before and after merging your coin.  Though there are possible changes and that's why I didn't want to hold my altcoins in the long term which seems risky IMO.

My advice is based on what I've read yesterday, be careful with the possible scam attempt instead.  Possible someone will ask you to transfer your Ethereum into their wallet to complete the merging process which is not true.

It's really up to you when you want to buy Ethereum and it's safe.
966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing Bitcoin private keys using dental implants? on: September 06, 2022, 10:59:21 PM
There are too many ways of experimenting with storing your private key safe but I tend to agree with the post above, paper is enough, it's proven and tested.  Also, engraving in a piece of metal would be also the best way but dental implants?  I don't think so, though there are too many cons that are possible that will happen than the pros.

There are too many what if, on this method of storing your private key which I think, it's too paranoid IMO.
You can implant it anywhere in your body but make sure don't risk your health by just storing your private key, I remember this when I saw a short video clip regarding a man who implants the key chip on his car in his hand.
967  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for September on: September 05, 2022, 11:59:12 PM
When someone wants to know the price of Bitcoin ahead of time, I always say,  "oh, that's a difficult question" which is the fact.

I voted $15k, but that's not exactly the price that I have in my mind, it might be the price that will play at the $20k range but it will not resist over that within this month.  I guess possible, that the Bitcoin price will bounce back after this correction in the first month of the 4th quarter of this year which is we expect that the Bitcoin price will usually be in a bullish trend during the month of December, IMO.
968  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: best way to keep cold storage wallet, but connect it to internet rarely to send. on: September 05, 2022, 11:49:15 PM
The issue I have with buying an air-gapped device is I remember reading where people purchased these things and they came to them pre-hacked already and they lost their bitcoins.
If by air-gapped device you mean a hardware wallet then the best thing to do to avoid being scammed is to never buy used devices an only buy from the official website of the company or from one of their authorized resellers.
But if you mean a pc or phone then you can't say it's air-gapped unless you format it by yourself and install a fresh and clean OS on it. You never know if the old owner has used it to access the internet before or not.
It's being paranoid thinking about your security if you're using an old device for the fully air-gapped wallet.  You'll never know how secure your device is for storing your Bitcoin.  Not unless IMO, purchasing a brand new hardware wallet from the official website reseller, (for Trezor and for Ledger hardware wallet).

There are too many possibilities that could cause a leak if you'll use old computers for the airgap wallet.
Why not a hardware wallet that has built-in security features?
969  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance to remove USDC as a tradable asset. on: September 05, 2022, 10:46:37 PM
Probably the CEO think about that why not their BUSD becomes dominated not the USDT which is already dominated by all stablecoins in the market.
It's clear that it's all about their stablecoin wanting to become dominant in their market and why not?

But at least not delisting on the exchange, though I like his plan to merge all liquidity into one pair which is BUSD.
It's all about business in the end and we know CZ, everything he will do to maintain the rank of his exchnage and also popularity of his stablecoin.
I would do the same if I'm CZ's place.  Cheesy
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me choose on: September 04, 2022, 11:26:01 PM
Between Skale Network, Satoshi Island or Lido Dao which one do you think will be better investment in this bear market.
Is this shitcoin isn't it?
People have already wasted their tears because of this shitcoins, how many of you learned it already?

Still, the best is if you want to invest in them do your own research instead and don't rely on others' opinions because that isn't good.  I don't usually give financial advice to anyone because I don't want them to blame me at the end, or the reason there's a flood of tears IF that will happen.  Wink

If you really want to try, just invest money that you can afford, it seems you gamble your money in that way and no one can guess it will give a good outcome.  At least, you know the possible consequences.
971  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I use Bitcoin in a country that it is banned? on: September 04, 2022, 11:08:03 PM
What are your suggestions for me and other beginners/users that are in this condition but want to participate in the technology and benefits that Bitcoin brings over the banks and government interference?
Bitcoin was created to become a decentralized digital currency, there is no third-party need and even the government can't stop or interfere with Bitcoin.
So purchasing is also made on decentralized exchange and this becomes possible on P2P exchange which you can buy and sell Bitcoin in your country.  You can't use it publicly in your country as a currency like in a coffee shop or having Bitcoin ATM machines but you can invest or trade Bitcoin using decentralized platforms.

Are the most common p2p exchange where you can buy Bitcoin even though it's banned in your country.

but I read that many have had their bank accounts banned, especially when there is a huge inflow..
Just buy a little by little and don't use a big cash inflow.
972  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto day trader groups on: September 04, 2022, 10:41:27 PM
I am looking for public and paid groups. please send me a link and i will check it out.
Both of them aren't good for traders, believed me, you'll regret it if you found paid service that seems wasting your money and time.  Because I've heard most of them are nonsense and I even tried the public one as my reference in trading before but I leave on the group because it makes me distracted when I'm in trading.  Another factor could be, that they will become a pump and dump group in which is organizer will benefit most than the members.

I would prefer to have my own research, unreliable sources could be your problem in the future.  Why not just start in simple and basic trading like buy low and sell high.  It's up to you now.
973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some say Bitcoin is dead but Bitcoin is not dead on: September 04, 2022, 10:29:46 PM
From 2017 until now when I discovered Bitcoin, I experienced and watched twice the bull market and also experienced a bear market movement.  I understand the sentiment of those people who throw negative to Bitcoin when a bear market comes, before I will hate or ignore them I just try to give an explanation that the market will recover soon.  Most of them say Bitcoin is dead when there's a bear market but when the bull market comes they become full of regret about why they didn't invest while in the bear season.

We can't blame them because they lack knowledge, if we can't make them understand the market situation then, that's the start we ignore them if they didn't listen.  We've different perspectives in life but let them regret when there's a bull market comes.
974  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - days since last all time high on: September 03, 2022, 11:58:10 PM
My guess could be Bitcoin dropped into a range of $15k to $16k in the month of November and it will resist a little in the last quarter of this year which is what the chart seems right but I don't think it will repeat itself.  I didn't see if there's a bullish trend this year or even next year, it seems the resistance waiting after the next halving comes which the most anticipated that it will repeat after 4 years.

However, I didn't think that too much scratching my head about the Bitcoin price, I prefer long-term holding which will surely there's will be a bull trend soon.

But still, the Bitcoin price is unpredictable for me which is I've faith that there will be a new ATH soon.
975  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto business isn't for everyone on: September 03, 2022, 11:23:35 PM
If you're seeking profit in crypto there's a simple rule that you must follow, "buy low sell high".
I tend to agree with the stated OP above, crypto investment isn't for everyone meant for and it seems like crypto trading, if you aren't knowledgeable enough, that kind of business path isn't good for you.

Every form of investment expected that there's a risk, now the problem is how you'll manage the risk and turn it into a successful one.

Just like the joke that I've found in my social media news feed a few days ago.
Someone asked if investing in crypto made him a millionaire, and there's one answer that made me laugh, it says, "Yes if you're a billionaire".
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: That's why I really like bitcoin :) on: September 03, 2022, 10:59:31 PM
Bitcoin is like a bank that’s in no way closed, this currency is moving and available 24/7. Further people and places are starting to accept it, from coffee shops to real estate possessors, this is a currency gaining traction and seems to be gaining worldwide acceptance.
I will not say that Bitcoin is like a bank, in which aspect?
The bank is centralized and Bitcoin is not. The bank is only open during working time (except for some of its features that can be accessed 24/7, but not all aspects can.), and Bitcoin can be accessed 24/7. The bank needs more regulation and Bitcoin is not.
But I'd like to say, be your own bank through Bitcoin.  You've got full control over your asset and you do transactions anytime you want.
It might be that's what OP meant for.  It can also express financial freedom as what's posted above.

I like people who've admired Bitcoin.
Yeah, it's an amazing creation that until now people adopted on it, we must say thank you to the creator (Satoshi Nakamoto) who has an unknown name.  Bitcoin considering is a part of technology innovation that we encounter now.
977  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How do I start as a bounty manager? on: September 03, 2022, 10:49:43 PM
I've been here in the forum for how many years and I've witnessed how many bounty managers quit their job because there are a bunch of bounty scams projects that might affect their reputation, if you don't know how to determine them, it could be you'll also become their victim paying their fancy token that doesn't even have a value in the market.  Determining a good project to manage their bounty campaign isn't easy as per see, though ain't a bounty manager but this was what I've noticed for those bounty managers that already have a negative tagged under their profile because running of a scam project seeking high payable projects.

Yes, you can, by following forum rules.
But the problem is you don't have enough reputation yet in the forum which is it's hard for you to hire good bounty hunters, which most of them matter now with a trusted campaign manager upon joining a bounty campaign.
978  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: EPISODE 2: I TEACH YOUNG ADULTS ON BITCOIN TRADING on: September 02, 2022, 03:02:19 PM
Great initiative, it's your responsibility now to guide them on the right path in trading to have a security-first before making money.

There are so many things that they need to understand first, first the wallet that you've used was the wallet that I've used too, and keep in mind the huge fee for transferring Bitcoin to Binance.  It should always teach or remind them not to hold Bitcoin on any custodial wallets or exchange.

I'm afraid that someday they will blame you once they will encountered failure, the same that happened to me when I teach my sister about trading.
Don't forget to tell them the possible negative consequences when they're in that stage (it will help you not to blame yourself when they have failed in trading), not only focus on the profit.
979  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Awareness of scam on social media will help reduce scam on: September 02, 2022, 02:33:04 PM
Fortunately, I didn't scam a significant amount ever, it might be because I'm fully oriented here in the forum and in social media as well, that's a part of being crypto enthusiast, be vigilant always and never trust any strangers who offer something free or give free money.  There's no quick free money on the internet and no one wants to be generous and provide a few dollars to those people who they didn't know.

Greed, yes that's right!
The mean reason why people will fall into the scammer's hands is because of greed and also possible there's no idea about crypto, as they heard, they will gain profit.  Social media could help newbies not to scam but this is upon the individual crypto enthusiast, if they will not have DYOR possible, this scam will happen to them.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to hodl Ethereums? (ETH MERGE) on: August 30, 2022, 11:59:13 PM
Which exchanges will support fork tokens?
Coinbase announced on Cointelegraph that they evaluate any potential forks’ following the Merge.

IMO, if you trust them then you can try to leave your coins in their wallet but remember there's a risk tied up on it.
It's not a good idea to leave our coins on a centralized exchange that holds everything in our coins.
If you remember the golden rule in crypto "Not your keys, Not your coins" you'll definitely not risk your Ethereum just for the fork tokens.
