961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Exchanges, an end to good projects. on: September 15, 2019, 11:45:01 PM
You are right and I won't say the developers or team don't know what they are doing thus being an opportunity to abandon the project or could be in reality they lacked what it takes to run the project, therefore meaning it was all hype from the onset; I have seen projects that did this. As a team, even if the right amount needed to run the project, that is hard cap isn't met, there is no harm in listing in a decent exchange that won't kill the project but will help sustain it. In fact, any team listing their so called good project on a shit exchange needs to be questioned, because they have something up their sleeves.

963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it safe to exchange big amounts? on: September 14, 2019, 02:59:32 PM
Hey.
Is it safe to exchange big amounts on non-custodial exchangers like changelly or shapeshift, or are they designed for small transactions?
I'm a newbie and I want to know if it's safe. Also, I want to know if it's safe to exchange crypto on classical exchanges like binance.
Just like most people have suggested, exchanging on top or bigger exchanges like Binance is good not just for big amounts but also for smaller amounts. The good thing is, you will be sure your funds are secured while the customer service is at your disposal should any issue arise. Furthermore, although KYC exists, you can still exchange and withdraw about 2btc daily on exhanges like Binance. So you can give it a shot while being relaxed.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit Dev not shit coin on: September 14, 2019, 02:55:27 PM
Funny as it sounds but that's the reality on ground, however when I see all these worthless or shit coins  what normally comes to mind is the developers behind it, the same is with good coins. But most times, some of these fraudulent developers or team uses fake pictures and identity, thereby publishing their information on the forum might not really produce a good result. Instead I think the best way is to drag their project to this forum for those who aren't aware to be informed, in this way, we will succeed in helping bring down the project while saving potential buyers.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS IT A SIGN OF FAILURE OR Scam? on: September 14, 2019, 01:01:37 PM
Signature participants are just there to help promote the project to a wider audience, thus setting the project on the path to success; while on the other hand, the overall success of that said project depends on the team and their readiness to develop the project. Also, signature participants do not decide the token or coin they are paid with, that's for the team to decide. Therefore, in all sense, signature participants do not determine the overall success of any project also, paying them with major cryptocurrencies do not mean they are aware the project will scam but still going ahead wearing the signature just to attract investors whom will be scammed thereafter.

966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space? on: September 13, 2019, 10:52:28 PM
I agree with you to an extent, yes scam projects exists in their numbers but I don't think they are killing the entire crypto space rather they are dragging us behind because most of us lacks idea to point a number of them thus patronising them even the more.
So if we should start giving more attention to those upcoming projects but with clear definition on what they want to offer, experienced team and preferably working MVP as well as those few projects still existing and are really working hard to bring about change in this space as well as the world then we would go far. Nevertheless, I still believe the crypto space will be great, it is just a matter of time.
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Last 3 Months of 2019! What is your prediction about the Market? on: September 13, 2019, 10:42:21 PM
With the nature of the crypto space now especially with Bitcoin dominance being too strong, I find it hard predicting anything for the remainder of the year. The more we predict and expect it to work out, the more it goes sideways; so in order to keep my sanity and maintain a good stand am not predicting anything neither am I listening to any prediction. Let the market have its way while I stock up on coins I believe will do well sooner than later or in the near future starting with ETH.
968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So what is your favorite crypto exchange for trading in 2019?🔥🔥🔥🚀🚀🚀 on: September 13, 2019, 10:34:32 PM
Wow, HB DEX, a new decentralized exchange top your list that means there must be something you have seen there which  I would like to see as well. Nevertheless, your list is good but lacks most prominent exchanges which have proven their worth over time both in trading, IEO and otherwise; they are Huobi, Okex, Gate and BitMax. Also, another is Coinall which is trying its best too. In my own opinion, these are exchanges worth my time and money although they have their shortcomings but are better of than many in the crypto space.
969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will IEO be good in the future? on: September 13, 2019, 10:28:45 PM
I have now some money but still earning to invest more in an IEO. I have heard celer IEO and investor get x6 of its investment. I was move away by this profit in an instant, i want also so i keep money, my question is after all good feedback of IEO, will IEO be like Ico which failed in the market or will IEO be last longer?
One thing about this space which is worth knowing is that, it is highly unpredictable thus no one can really say if IEOs will last longer or not. On the other hand, taking a look at them nowadays I can say they will last a bit more as no one is currently having any interest in ICOs although there is none in existence I know of. Therefore by comparing the success rate of IEOs as well as the hype surrounding it now especially in top exchanges like Binance, Okex etc, one can say there is still more left to offer, however, carefulness is duly needed at all times.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why i prefer mining and investing in ICO/IEO on: September 12, 2019, 09:04:48 PM
Your stand are accurate but just ICO/IEO investing which comes with its own need for research, mining also has its own requirements of which the first is cost of electricity, followed by the type of mining equipment as well as cost. So if a user have access to cheaper energy, mining will be profitable for such user. However, I tend to stick to IEO investing since the cost of energy in my home is high. Also, the type of IEO I participate with is those taking place in exchanges like Binance etc.
971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: September 12, 2019, 07:02:23 PM
Till date no coin has been able to beat Bitcoin even those that promised to offer higher TPS etc are still struggling to maintain a good position on CmC or even offer what they promised. We should stop comparing coins to Bitcoin, even ETH can't be compared to it let alone BNB being the king of all coins. I see it this way, BNB rise in value when IEO comes to play, what if there is no IEO? What will be of the price? Even Binance chain hype is dying gradually.  Bitcoin on the other is driven by its potentiality which is the reason more people are going for it on daily basis. There will be no coin that can overtake Bitcoin, because it has proved itself worthy over time.

973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big prize for 1 participant in a signature campaign? on: September 09, 2019, 07:49:02 PM
If this should happen, I don't think the team will even be happy paying the full reward as they will think they didn't achieve enough in the campaign. However, let's assume it occurs, the first thing the bounty manager will do is to reduce the allocation of that campaign, then secondly checking the other campaigns with huge participants and increasing the allocation. In some cases, the allocation might be reduced and the token kept without being re-allocated to other campaigns.
I have never seen such, but should it happen, the bounty manager will do justice to it.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shopping using crypto? on: September 09, 2019, 07:44:11 PM
Shopping with crypto? That's really a great idea because one of the things we need for huge bull run is mass adoption. The truth is many users are tired of reading whitepaper of a project where the team outlined many Features but in reality there is nothing to show for, thereby if developers can really stick to the reason why the created the project in the first place, the blockchain space will be booming heavily now.
Nevertheless, I will checkout the project you just mentioned and know what they are trying to do different and if they will indeed contribute to the blockchain space in the long run. Once again thanks for sharing.

977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is whitepaper important in the project? on: September 08, 2019, 11:23:41 PM
Of a truth, it was meant to be important to study the Whitepaper before investing, at least that's what I learnt. But nowadays, it's not so important anymore as most projects are based on hype, and once that takes place all investors will be after hype and not what's written in the whitepaper. Taking IEOs today as example, how many investors really study any project whitepaper? But once it's an IEO major exchanges which of course comes with hype they will forget about the whitepaper and focus on how to participate.
978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think advisors help new projects? on: September 08, 2019, 10:39:17 PM
I do think advisors help new projects, because the success of the platform will also count as their success thus giving them more prestige to be used by other projects. Also, the advisors needs to be people with great experience and if possible Influence, as it will go a long way in convincing investors to invest while giving them confidence. However, we also need to study the project to know if it worth it or not, as most advisors can be there for short term profitability.
979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My eth is hacked ........ on: September 08, 2019, 10:33:15 PM
Sorry about this mate, but there is nothing you can do because your private key is meant to be private only to you. Anyone accessing it means you directly or indirectly gave the person access and owing to the way ETH blockchain is built there is no way to get it back you only have to let go. I will implore you take adequate steps to ensure you secure your wallet keys and phrases at all cost, if possible write it down and hid so you won't be victim of virus attack again. Also, be mindful of the websites you visit.
