Just trying to be safe and I don't want to click a link that I'm not very familiar.
Same here buddy I am not used in clicking links specially when it comes to random newbies ,since I have a friend that was victimized by phishing links before (but I’m not saying that everything is phishing but it’s better to keep precautions)

What does the video is all about? can you speak your observation through words in here?
Also waiting for explanation about what video is all about

But for me hitting Bitcoin to 1 million is next to impossible, and let’s not over expecting because failure will surely follow.

I am enough with $100k for the max bitcoin price

The video just shows that you can rationally think BTC could be $1M in 2025.
This is not absurd but I personally believe we need a few more years.

I just took a huge dump .... was a huge drop with a splash at the end.... OP was right  Grin
983  Economy / Speculation / Re: Long term advance notice! on: August 27, 2019, 03:22:39 PM

Some serious tax payments to be made

40% tax, on amount in USD at settlement.

By the time you sell the BTC, and pay the taxes .... then?!  How much will be left ?!!??!   Shocked

Just ask for 1 year notice to pay the tax, you will have to sell less BTC ;-)

The problem is rather, once the tax bill is calculated, it does not account for the market price any more -  I'd not buy such a risk, and not for Long term at all

Or he just needs to go somewhere where there is no extradition bill and give them all the finger...  Cool
984  Economy / Speculation / Re: Peter Schiff speculation, bitcoin will never hit $50k on: August 27, 2019, 03:20:44 PM
Bitcoin does seem to good to be true so I can understand people staying away... I for sure have never made money as quick as with Bitcoin...

On the other side of the trade there are also people who never lost money as quick as with Bitcoin.  Cheesy

The thing with people however is that they are too stupid to understand that even a small 1-2% allocation to Bitcoin is a fantastic move. If Bitcoin ends up worthless at one point in the future, their loss is negligible. If Bitcoin ends up breaking wild and is approaching the $1 million level, the profit will turn their entire portfolio in a big fat green dildo party.

Yeah if you bought at $19k thinking M00N!!! and end up at $3k Cheesy

Did anyone think that CSW would give an interview for free?
No. This is just an elaborated "consortium" to FUD that Bitcoin price could fall. (Not that it wouldn't be volatile anyway).

What a weird read, the guy seems to have a bit of a messianic complex. IMO if Ira dumped all those coins immediately I would love it, BTC tanks temporarily for a day or less and we all pick up cheap coins. The total supply remains the same, a btc is still a btc. To me, this would be a lot different than uncertainty in the market or another exchange hack tanking btc. And what's cooler is it likely won't be priced in beforehand as no one knows when or even if Ira will dump. So yeah, bring it on.

The story is strange because you can only tax what is owned. So only if a legal document explaining the trust is available, explaining the contents of the trust aswell, he would need to pay up on behalf of the trust.
I wouldn't think a smart guy would have his bitcoins mentioned in some legal document on which the IRA can lay it's hands.

The coins won't be dumped. If you look at the Silkroad coins, they were auctioned.
So I believe the Bitcoins will be auctioned for the price that the IRA need, maybe in batches.
Who will be auctioning the coins is unclear, so either the IRA or CSW.
Don't think the coins will get dumped in one go or even hit the exchanges.

Having those coins dispersed into the network is good since there will be less and less whales that can manipulate the price.

Maybe the current sideways movement is the dumping of those coins to gather the owed amount in USD...  Undecided

Well I respect your theory. If bitcoin will gonna hit 1million dollars in the future let's say 100years from now, then it will become the most pricey investment and will become a controversial for sure. It maybe possible since the supply of bitcoin is just limited but honestly it is hardly reached that price since there has many issues regarding the transactions, fees, etc.

It will not take 100years. More like 5-10 years.
987  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 27, 2019, 11:57:36 AM
I predict a violent price explosion within the next 5 days. The spiral spring is charged and ready to release it's energy.

Hope you are right...

New poll incoming.

86 of you are doing it wrong  Wink

I am optimistic for BTC in the long term, but thinking more about BTC than sex is terribly unhealthy, for obvious reasons.

You'll grow hair on you palms?

Maybe build something that is underwater ... or floating ... like those seasteads. Or similar to oil rigs.

Or a wall around it. As a Dutch person we don’t have a problem with living below sea level.

I have a very interesting theory about when exactly bitcoin will hit $1 million.

I said everything in the video, I'm sure you will like it.

It's not an investment advice, but just an observation from me, after following bitcoin for more than 5 years.

Please watch the video here and tell me what do you think :

https://3speak.online/watch?v=clixmoney/hjimplyn
Does it really matter? What I mean is if at some point during the next decades bitcoin hits a very high price I will no longer care about its price in dollars and instead worry about what I can buy with my bitcoin, I say this because in order to reach a price close to that the dollar will have to lose a significant portion of its purchasing power, besides many of the people currently holding some bitcoin will not be holding any at that point since they do not really understand how valuable bitcoin really is.

Ok so you say bitcoin can only go up if the dollar devaluates and loses purchasing power. Yet you say Bitcoin is valuable Huh

I get what you want to say and that is that the value of bitcoin will increase in purchasing power, and the dollar could become useless. Thus making bitcoin the main store of value and directly usable. Converting is useless.

Is this one thinking big enough? Nengo Atoll

2 hour (775km) private plane flight from Tahiti.... yep your in fucking nowhere.... sipping booze from a coconut....
It’s big and flat enough to plant a runway for worlds biggest jets.
Big enough to build houses for everyone you know.
Beautiful water (inner atoll sea) for diving...

There's a ton of little shack houses in those pictures already there.  How many people live on that island already and who the hell are they?  If you buy the island, do you just kick them off or something?  And if nobody lives in those dozens of shacks, what the hell are the shacks for?  I'm guessing one reason there's not a lot of interest from rich people is because it's...an atoll...and the thing is basically underwater already.  Any type of bad weather and the whole thing is submersed and you die.

Hahaha. The shacks are usually from vanilla farmers, you can kick them off. They are selling the place... it is a freehold.

“It provides the opportunity for its owner to organize his/her life and lifestyle exactly as he/she wishes……“

The place does need renovation but wtf you can build anything you like.
And the sea level isn’t going to rise that much, not like it will rise 10m. So just build your mansion a little higher up and towards the inner sea protecting you from the weather.
I’d rather sit on a pearly white beach than a high ugly rock.
Many countries successfully live on atolls and they are breathtaking...
994  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 26, 2019, 09:39:48 PM

You guys thinking small.

Why don't you just buy this?

Big Scrub Island

Let the imagination flow. Buy yourself 6-7 women as well. Breed Constantly. Build your own kingdom and name yourself XXXXX the first, king of the andals and the first men, protector of the realm etc.

Damn thing still hasn't sold. It got the perfect name too. If btc manages to do a 500x run, I am planning to make an offer they can't refuse.  Cool

997  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your Bitcoin price prediction for 2019 on: August 26, 2019, 05:30:30 PM
My gut says $20k is pushing it.
I'm hoping for $50k-$70k.
When looking at the past $100k-$200k should be possible (although my gut says "what have you been smoking bro?")
That seems to be something realistic, I too have the gut that $20000 is possible to be reached end of the year. Already we've touched close to $14000, and this increases the chances for $20000. There were more wild guesses of $100k and more to be reached, at this instance we've very small percentage of reaching it.

Ok, I know it's just predictions, and there are a lot of almost impossible pumps that BTC did  Grin
But 100k USD for this year? I don't think so, it looks so hard because people are waiting 20K USD to dump and wait for a dip

20k for now it's the main goal

Sounds like a plan...  Cool
998  Economy / Speculation / Re: Facebook’s Libra + Bitcoin + Trump + Israel = 666 Orwellian Dystopia on: August 26, 2019, 05:28:37 PM
I had once thought of creating a topic as regards this also and little did I know that someone ad already created it, according to my bible, it was recorded that in the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ after the trumpet had sounded, there will be a single currency that would have been introduced to the world and whoever does not have the mark 666 will not be able to send the single currency, and I am wondering if Satoshi is human or a sprit that has created the currency to fulfill the prophecy.

If this is so, perhaps, there is nothing that government can ever do to fight the bitcoin because prophecy must be fulfilled, which means bitcoin has come to stay and will go round the whole world, and what does that interpret, bitcoin will still appreciate a lot more than this before Jesus comes .

After the trumpet sounded
Or
After the Trump sounded

999  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you see cryptocurrency 10 years from now? on: August 26, 2019, 02:34:09 PM
Hey guys,

I was watching some documentaries the other day about our monetary system. I'm convinced that crypto currency is the future money and fiat currency will be erase in the future. How long do you think can it take?

Thanks!
Everything will come to its time but not this soon.

Governments from around the world are against- crypto currency as they think it will ruin their country because of decentralization

But also everything will come to its place when world are ready to face and accept new currency and this is crypto

How do you go about helping people? mortgage? insurance? stimulating the economy? etc...
Crypto is basically monetary anarchy which is as good as cash money. We don't live in a cash-only society for good reasons...
So I am for using crypto where it is an asset to society (like international and person to person transactions)
