1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can i make money from Launchpads on: June 07, 2024, 11:13:41 PM
Are you talking about the launchpad on Centralized exchange? Yes it can be profitable especially if you have large amount of funds. Exchanges do offer stable coin to stake on which is somehow safe on volatility but high APY comes from the more volatile token such as staking the token that is being rewarded itself. If you have the courage and trust on the token, going for the higher APY would be the go to but if you just want to play it safe, staking stable coin is good. I tried doing it with just $200 on my exchange account and the reward that I got is no more than 10$ in value, it's quite good rather than making it sit on your account.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FTX will repay everybody 118% back on: June 07, 2024, 10:58:21 PM
Well it's nice for the victims actually recovering their money but even with a move from like this from FTX will recover their reputation. I wonder how did FTX gained their money to pay the victims of FTX? I don't think that their business is doing good after their problem of scamming people, or somehow the funds that they scammed stay still and bloomed in value that's why they will pay on form of fiat. Though I strongly believe that this will never recover their reputation because it seems to me that they are trying to fix their mistake.
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is getting addicted to gambling right or wrong? on: June 07, 2024, 10:48:59 PM
Gambling addiction is process in which an individual cannot control their urge in gambling even when they tend to lose. They are willing to sacrifice their most valuable assets with the hope of winning. A story was told of a young man in my community who used his only son for gambling because he was so addicted that he can't do without gambling in a day. he can do anything when it comes to gambling. I also know people who are wealthy today through gambling. So, is it wrong to be too addicted to gambling? how can it be control or how can one manage gambling?
It is no mistake that people will participate in gambling but gambling can definitely be an important medium for their entertainment. Yes but he needs to be careful so that gambling doesn't ruin his career and have a negative impact on his family. The person in your community who is addicted to gambling and now cannot stop participating in gambling every day is a type of disorder. He is now so deeply addicted to gambling that he can no longer control himself from gambling. Yes, such a situation is never desirable but rather a situation where a gambler can stop gambling as needed and resume gambling when needed for entertainment. But in this case your community member must be treated in a rehabilitation center and must be motivated by his next of kin otherwise he is likely to face a more dire situation.
Every type of addiction is bad no matter what it is, people should understand how to check themselves if they are addicted or not and understand that there are many consequences between this addictions. It is never too late from everyone especially on those who are addicted to gambling, There are still chances to recover from it with the help of others like putting the guy on a rehabilitation center. I myself had been an gambling addict, but I recover from it and luckily I did it myself without the help of others. This shows that there are still chances before the addiction ruin our whole lives. Things like gambling should be done in moderation and I learned it the hard way.
4  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Play-to-Airdrop (Worth it kaya?) on: June 07, 2024, 10:23:49 PM
~
Parang sa lahat ng linggo na ginawa ko yung paglalaro parang umabot na din ng 0.5 AXS naipon ko. Not bad na at parang nostalgic at nageenjoy naman ako kaso nga lang wala nang nadadagdag sa rank.  Grin

Wala na kasi akong balita dito sa axie paano nag earn after mag drop ng price ng SLP, ano na ba other ways to earn dito sa axie kasi marami ako nakikitang player is still nag babalik loob pa din sila sa pag lalaro nito. Tapos ilang SLP per day and pwede mo ma earn at worth it pa din ba sya like side trip lang for entertainment?
Via bounty quest boards. Need mo manalo ng atleast 1 game sa Origins and classic also praying to atia to earn points na convertible into AXS. Daily task siya at per week meron 12,500 axs na bounty pool. Last week nagawa ko yung 1 game win on classic and origins and daily pray ki atia for 7 days and naka earn ako ng .34 AXS. Habang tumatagal dumadami yung players na nag paparticipate kaya dinagdagan ng Sky mavis team yung bounty pool from 10,000 to 12500 para somehow maging justifiable yung pag laro. Sa totoo lang medyo mababa yung bigayan given the current price of AXS and mahirap din siya ipascholar knowing na may hatian pa kayo ng scholar mo.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on Web3's decentralized GPU cloud infrastructure? on: June 07, 2024, 10:08:11 PM
It's a good concept. Depin, I think this will become a trend during bull market. I plan on buying that exact aethir after their TGE, also other project like io.net are on my list. Though I'm still thinking whether I should buy their hardware or I should only focus on their token, I'm thinking about the profitability or where should I put my money on. I haven't deep dived of this project that's why I still can't decide. Maybe I should hear your thought guys.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Only In a Coin that Increase in Value in this Bull Run. on: June 07, 2024, 09:42:08 PM
I think it just depends on each individual's taste, sometimes people like short term investments and there are also long term ones, of course the coin in question has different characteristics, but if you choose an altcoin that has good fundamentals I think the potential for rising higher not only in the bullrun this time, it usually continues as long as the crypto market is still improving.

Who dare try invest into altcoins for long term if you never bought in pre-sale? That's a wrong move for 90% of all most altcoins in the crypto market because most of them go to sleep mode immediately after the bull run instead of progressing gradually, some don't make growth again in some other bull runs that comes later that's why investment into altcoins remain short term, put some money make profits and take profits that's the only way about it.

If you are making a long investment to any altcoins, let it no go beyond Ethereum and BNB, that's the best I can recommended since it's having similar growths with Bitcoin when it comes to ETF and also demand while BNB been an exchange coin will always remain utility to Binance even in many decades to come but you see the rest of altcoins, don't even try and hold them forever, buy low and sell high.
Yep it's true, there are only few altcoin that can survive to going to another bull market, these coins are the remarkable ones. If we want to be smart and play it safe, selling all of our altcoin during the bull market will give us load of profit that can we use to buy at lower lows at bear market again. No matter what price we bought the altcoin as long as we profit from it, it's fine. There are bunch of altcoins out there and the only thing we need to do is to be smart about it.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tap Swap and other new projects trending on: June 07, 2024, 09:28:02 PM
Just like past airdrop trends like social media engagement, tap swap game on telegram became trending because of NOTCOIN. It is successful indeed in creating trend but I doesn't think that this trend will last long given that the result of past trend that make project surge and copying the same way of requirements for their airdrops, unfortunately the projects who copied doesn't get attention by investors but only full of farmers hoping to get money from it, so project value flops during their TGE.

I realized from this that the first who introduce the concept will get the support of investors.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins have you blacklisted? on: June 05, 2024, 08:42:36 PM
I guess majority of the shitcoin or shitcoin that is used to deceive people or scam people. One of the coin that I don't plan on having one is Pi coin. I don't like the whole structure of their token and I hate the brained wash supporters of it, as if they are earning from shilling the Pi coin. There are even people using it daily, It is currently being used as a peer to peer payment for goods and services. I am so sorry for those merchants who accepted Pi coin as a payment, it is an instant loss for them given that Pi coin doesn't have real value in the market.

The billion coin is what I am seeing with Pi coin nowadays, brainwashed supporters.
If a coin is used to pay things online and pay for services then it is a good coin because even bitcoin was created to pay things online as p2p but that didn't workout. But my concern on the pi network is that how are the sellers of those goods received the pi because there is no wallet to receive the coin. And as you said many people are mining the pi everyday. I some of my neighbors my mining pi very seriously and they sold some of the pi before and they sold it with a reasonable amount.
Though I don't like shitcoins and all my investment is only in bitcoin.
I haven't used or registered on Pi coin mining but with a simple search just now, I discovered they have a wallet in for pi network. If your neighbors sold it, then it's good for them since they made some money but I don't think it's good for the buyer as I personally think it is a worthless token. Just like I said that there are merchants accepting this token but that doesn't mean that the token has some value that they can exchange for something rightly equivalent to that instantly unlike bitcoin or other good altcoin or even shitcoin that is listed on CEX or DEX. There are so many people who want to sell their Pi token but there are only few people who like to buy it given with the risk involved.
9  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pilipinas isang Top Crypto Country on: June 05, 2024, 08:13:09 PM
Dahil siguro ito sa mga farmers or airdrop hunters dito sa bansa natin kaya nasa top tayo. Napakaactive natin sa crypto but I think volume wise wala tayong palag sa ibang bansa since napakarami lang nating users but most of us are just seeking free money.
10  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin ETF sa bansa on: June 05, 2024, 08:00:24 PM
Yep it's a fact na marami pading uneducated about sa bitcoin sa bansa natin but I don't think na magiging solution ang pag launch ng Bitcoin ETF dito sa bansa natin sa pag palaganap ng knowledge about bitcoin. What we need is knowledge na pwedeng idistribute ng media like Television or radio para maabot yung mga normal na tao not just investors.

Possibly na mag ka Bitcoin ETF tayo pero matagal tagal pa ito sa tingin ko given na palaging late ang Pilipinas pag dating sa mga bagay bagay.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's Your Take on Celebrities Backing Memecoins? on: June 05, 2024, 07:10:04 PM
I'm a memecoin/shitcoin hater before but I actually learned how to use it on the way that I can profit with it. I learned from my mistakes backthen on not giving up much thoughts about memecoins which made many people millionaires that's why I treat memecoins as a short term token more like a money machine. Celebrity shillers are part of meme coin marketing, as long as I entered before the celebrities shill the coins, I'm all good because I'm speculating that the coin will have many buy orders which means profit. Memecoins are risky and understanding it can bring you a good profit.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Messed up with my Notcoin on: June 04, 2024, 11:33:03 PM
Well me too. I f*cked up on passing this kind of tap tap game. I really didn't think that this kind of game would have a decent price on the launch but I'm sure there are many people like me who are upset on not trying this game even not registering on the game. The notcoin wave really put tap tap copy cat game into action, I can see new copycat concept daily hoping that they can achieve notcoin success but I don't think so. The crypto community is crazy that those who hates this kind of taptap games somehow regret on not even trying. Lucky you that you had some allocation received but remember it is still free money even if you sold at lower prices. Just take it as a lesson and move on.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Realistic expectations this bull run? on: June 04, 2024, 11:01:30 PM
Hi,

This is my first bull run and just wondering if the below expectations are likely for the current top 6 altcoins I am holding during the bull run peak later this year/ early next year?

I feel they are pretty fair predictions , i have heard many say they can all go higher but I will be happy with the below.

I have not experienced peak bull run euphoria before but I know it can go crazy but I also want to play it safe and guarantee profits so won't be greedy.

I just want to get an understanding and have realistic expectations.

Arcblock - $12 (my average price is $0.11)
Cronos - $0.90 (my average price is $0.08)
Quant - $900 (my average price is $101)
ICP - $90 (my average price is $5.69)
Jasmy - $0.25 (my average price is $0.01)
Hbar - $0.90 (my average price is $0.07)

It's hard to give figures because every coin has different tokenomics but I guess expecting a 10x on each coin would be realistic and 5x is a conservative one on a bull market. Every major coins on bull market are going crazy on their prices on my experience but manage your emotions and set an ideal price to sell, don't be blinded by greediness. I am not familiar with the most coins mentioned but altcoins tend to follow when bitcoin goes up.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoins to invest right now on: June 04, 2024, 10:22:50 PM
There are a lot of altcoins that are being developed today, there are so much that I can't really tell who is the best given that there are different factors like risks, profit possibility, project future development, etc.. Just do your own research on what altcoins to buy or invest and when do you plan to hold it out until you sell.

My personal take on this is that I like to focus on buying new good fundamental coins as they can bring good profit compared to last generation coins. I believe that there are a lot of top 2021 bull run tokens that will be demoted into lower ranks because new coins will emerge the rankings. This happened before and I believe it will happen again soon.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keeping your assets safe in the crypto space.. on: June 04, 2024, 10:04:15 PM
One constant fact that I've noticed since I got into crypto is that the moment a project or a company starts getting popular or begins to gain a huge follower base, it starts to attract scammers like Sugar to ants.

It honestly gets annoying after a while, I can't join a Telegram or Discord group without being DMed by a dozen of them, fake links flying here and there. A recent example is Bitget releasing a couple of articles to inform their users about phishing and a particular malicious browser extension named "AggrTrade". I've seen similar notifications from Binance, bybit also telling their users to be careful

Still, I guess we can only just remain careful to avoid falling victim to scammers after all there isn’t much that can be done. What have you guys been doing to keep your assets safe though? Drop some comments, let's learn.
Well that's basically a fact, not just telegram but it also happened very much on twitter. Scammers obviously wants wide audience, a projects who got a lot of attention is one of the tools of a scammer that they can use to scam people by imitating them and lure them into their objective which is scamming. This is why we can see constant reminder from projects and established platforms such as CEXs about the threat of scammers. Scamming industry is lucrative that's why we can see scammers everywhere especially on cryptospace so the best thing we can do is to repel them by using helpful tools that helps us into detecting them.

I'm personally using Defillama extension on my browser and it is really helpful to the fact that it can even detect phishing or fake websites.

We should also learn how to configure the settings on our social media and messaging channels like telegram, discord and twitter to unwanted people, in short scammers from sending messages to us or at least on our crypto social accounts.

19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The scam of FAKE fixed matches on: February 05, 2024, 06:43:54 PM
If I ever saw a advertisement about a fixed match, I would not click it. There's no way that a fixed matches could be advertised publicly, even if it is a paid ones. So being advertised publicly is a major red flag, those who do real match fixing never share it as they spend a ton of money on making it possible. It's a scammer new way of scamming us gambler, I wonder how people are getting scammed by this. I will get it if it's newbies or new to the gambling industry but if it's a seasoned gambler, there's something wrong with that gambler. Desperation to win will just bring us to a dire situation like this, so always remember to be vigilant and stay out in this kind of offerings/scams.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many traders will lose soon a lot the ftx 2.0 is ready on: February 05, 2024, 06:13:03 PM
lol whichever exchange this is, it will only happen after the bull run, we are safe until you won't withdraw your coins from that exchange whichever that exchange is.

ftx2.0 = unknown.   crypto.com?
if the same modus, it's this exchange that comes to my mind, almost the same promotion, and have bought arena also. nothing else besides this one. if there is something they save for the last attempt i guess its crypto.com.
It's hard to trust every exchange nowadays, the safe play is to don't store our funds on these exchanges and only use them when it is needed. Storing our funds on our non-custodial wallet is an important thing. Decentralize platforms are now increasing more than ever, I believe that there will be a time where decentralize exchange will be our first choice rather than centralized exchange.

Personally, I'm trying to avoid mid tier crypto exchange as much as possible and just try to stick with the top tier exchanges and platforms to lessen the chances of being scammed or being hacked.
