41  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: January 25, 2024, 08:01:35 AM
no one can help Him because even authority Are not over these case so this is a  milking cow for this scammers to cheat their players even from day one and its really bad that we cannot do anything but to accept the fact that they can do anything without anyone chasing them so what we can do only is to prevent them from extending their scamming at least here in forum .
They are scamming for years and it seams that they don't show any remorse or plan to stop their operation. They don't seem to be seize by the officials knowing that they are around here for years and still operating. Even this forum can't stop this casino, the only way for us to help people is to warn people and not giving them false hope about their situation. This casino is a long time scammer, majority of the victims had already moved on. I think people who still asking for help to retrieve their funds should help and take care of their mental health, nothing can go right asking 1xbit to refund their money.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can we understand market going to be Bear? on: January 25, 2024, 07:41:22 AM
It's hard to tell a very accurate prediction but there are things that can improve the predictions. We all know that crypto has its phase and bear market comes after the bull market had taken over the market. From the past years, I learned that there are signs or clues that the bear market is coming. Fundamentals and technical analysis can contribute great on predicting where will the market goes, in our case it will be on the bear market. Fuds will appear like rumors, accusations, hacks, bankruptcy from many well known project and on bitcoin. Technical analysis will help you monitor if the market is overbought, indicators toward the bearish sides and etc. If I found these signs next bull market, I will believe that the market is going on the bearish side.
43  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Playing crypto for many years without holding Bitcoin. on: January 25, 2024, 07:21:17 AM
I'm sure that there are a lot of crypto veterans that are don't hold bitcoins but making profit in crypto. Bitcoin is a good hold but I think that the profit return is not as much as good as before, compared to the new altcoins nowadays that can easily go x5 during the bull market. Choosing the altcoin you hold is what matters knowing that holding shitcoins would mostlikely put your money on a grave. I can't blame those people who doesn't have bitcoin especially those people who are trading or actively rotating their funds to generate more.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a social or casual good guesser make better gambling prediction carrier? on: January 24, 2024, 03:02:30 PM
Funny enough my dear gamblers, something artrageous just happened within i and colleagues at work where we engaged on a "guessing and challenging game" daring ourselves in such a critical and lucky guesses.
E.G, *Guess where I am from.
*How many kids do you think I have?
 * How many hours/minutes do you think I drives from my house to work?
 * What high institution do you think I attended?
 * What is my 2nd childs shoe size?

These is a scenero of such game. Behold dear gamblers, someone in our midsts was able to make an exact 10 right guesses out of this challenge meanwhile others could even make count of a single right guess

This opted one of us to say to the champion that.... Oh wow, man, you are professional guesser. Maybe someone like you could be a professional gambling predictional.

I am concerned to ask, can such a person build a gambling carrier with such an excellent guessing prohibition? Or he should trash it all and believe that gambling predictions remains a game of luck?

Guessing doesn't rely on empty data, guessing something need some piece of information to make the guess possible. From the example you provided, the one who is being asked to guess will use the physical body and the background of the one who is asking a question to collect information that will help in making a guess that is possible and logical.

It is somehow the same with sportsbetting where you can use references to backed you guess prediction. The clearer the information, the higher the chance that the guess will be right.

If you are excellent in doing guess, this doesn't mean you should engage in gambling, though it is useful on such games like sportsbetting, poker and other games that rely on information. Slots uses luck, I don't think that there will be a place for a guessing skill.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You will do in this situation? on: January 24, 2024, 02:18:58 PM
A few days ago, my house was being cleaned. Three people are cleaning the front and back yards of the house. One of them was playing slots and I saw him. Actually, I wanted to suggest he try sports betting because I often see the guy watching football matches and he does have knowledge about many teams. So I was wondering if I could introduce him to sports betting so he could use his ability to predict every game he knows about.

Besides that, I just feel that if he deposited $10 = IDR 150,000 into a gambling site just to play slots, he would probably suffer a complete loss. But if he can place bets on sports betting, there is a possibility of him winning some money on small bets. Wouldn't that be an advantage for him?

If you were in this situation, what would you do? Introduce him to sports betting or let him stick to playing slots. Yesterday, I just let it go but we still often meet at other activities.
I see nothing wrong suggesting that person to switch to sports betting as you see that he can profit there more based on your explanation. If he had the skills, he would profit more on sportbetting as slot heavily rely on luck and not is something that you can't have everyday. Sportsbetting is better given that there are strategies to be used and ofcourse the knowledge of the bettor on the game he is betting.

Though if I am on your situation, I won't bother that guy. I just let him stick on what he is doing. I don't want to be blamed if something bad happened because of the sports betting I recommended. I also think that guy knows what sportsbetting is, with so much advertisement over the internet and television, I'm sure he encountered one.
46  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: January 24, 2024, 01:40:15 PM
It's good that you are like that, because personally I have always tried to read the Tos , but sometimes I don't Know if it is because of laziness , but because of old Age , Once I go into the casino to Play , but that is already lost on me. past and that happened to me since the first time that KYC was made mandatory in all cases, so I said, well, why so much for that? If things are trying to be done differently, there are things that sometimes Cannot be Avoided and one of those is Always making these things available, already at this point , with a series of experiences that have been passed throughout our life. life and with the casinos , what do you say , what is the point of laziness of not reading=? If you Still have to read it later ? It is a lost time in reality , it is Bbetter to read and understand everything, before knowing what we are getting into than to be Taken by surprise by any eventuality that we have toComplain about , and if this happens we still have to do things that way, then the The same system somehow Forces us to do things in the most Correct way.

When we focus on a casino, we know that in order to be successful in the casino we Basically need to make our money work, and as such, what we will risk is our money , there is no other option, and there is nothing more unacceptable than having to have our money in the casino and we cannot withdraw it, it is something that is not also in the normal parameters of things, so in order not to have to go through that bad moment either, we must do something very sensible, complete the KYC, and we in a casino will always be the money, one of the things that offline casino has as an advantage is that you don't need so much protocol to withdraw, that is, if you win, you withdraw, if you don't win you don't have the right to go, sometimes those things are so basic What makes one casino better than another and depending on the tastes of the Player.

In my opinion many of them are lazy about reading Tos, because there are people who think Tos is important and not important,  and everyone tends to be lazy about reading  This is a small problem but can become a big one with their own laziness. It's true what you said,  it's better to read and understand it than for something undesirable to happen and get us into trouble, and when we get into trouble then reading it is no different from reading it at the beginning so if you can read and understand it at the beginning then it's better Just do it at the beginnings, don't wait for problems to come.

Indeed, what is at stake in gambling is money because there is nothing else to bet on, casino companies also won't care about what gamblers experience even if they experience a lot of losses. and if they don't have enough money then they should just stay at home.  but do offline casinos not submit us to withdrawal requirements such as KYC? when we get a win we can immediately withdraw it without many requirements.
People will only realize that the TOS is important if they somehow find an error or broken a rule that is being a disadvantage to them, that is the only time that they will read the TOS. There are gamblers that just want to play without reading so much formal stuff like TOS, I understand and relate to that but the risk of losing your money because you didn't read the TOS isn't something that you shouldn't care.

About the KYC stuff, just embark in our minds that if we play on a new casino, they will collect KYC anytime that they want even if they didn't when we registered. I I believe that KYC is being normalized on centralized casino, so every time I register on a new casino, I assume that they will collect it at some point.
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is arbitrage still possible in crypto ? on: January 24, 2024, 01:20:45 PM
is arbitrage still possible in crypto ? anyone has any luck with this method ?
I've tried it but I don't feel like I have much benefit from that method. Unless we really have quite large capital. Because sometimes the price difference between Cex is not that big. Or sometimes it returns to the same price quickly. But this method is still possible. But it must be an altcoin that has fast transaction speeds. Because if we do this on an altcoin that has a very slow network confirmation speed then we will be late when sending it to another exchange. But for now I don't use that method. Because it's too risky. Because sometimes we experience losses when prices decline and we actually lose in transaction fees.

Arbitrage trading is still possible in crypto trading but I don't know about the popularity, most traders that I know don't use the method, they'd prefer to do their trading in one exchange, because in using different exchange you'd have to be monitoring prices in them, in the end the difference might not be much, or within a short time price can stabilize. Moreover it might not be worth it without having enough capital, so it comes down to the choice of individual traders, the method that suits them best
The popularity decreased as the exchange has now better price rates that is near from other exchanges. It became more unprofitable than ever. There are a lot of new exchange now, I believe that you can take advantage of those especially if the token you plan to do arbitrage is newly release, price difference might be far and could be profitable, include the new dexes on your options. Though as you said, monitoring them aren't that easy as there are so many exchange.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No one has gone broke taking profits, always take profits. on: January 24, 2024, 12:39:28 PM
I started learning how to trade and my teacher just told me this advice that no one has gone broke taking profits when trading. I have always wanted to earn Bitcoin but I have been confused how to start then decided that I'll learn how to trade. I have been reading through the forum and I see lots of advice about holding and it's looking like if you sell you're not doing the correct thing. The first advice I have received is that I should always take profits. My teacher said the profits you take is better than all imagining profits you'll think that you can get in the future if you keep holding. He didn't say holding is bad but I got advice not to neglect the profits that I can take. I got this advice and I want to share it with everyone, always take profits.
Follow what you think is right. You teacher is right that taking profit is better than unrealized one. I myself is giving advise to other to just hold bitcoin if I know they are a complete newbies but on your case that you are learning how to trade, moving funds on your trades is inevitable. Trader always takes profit, holder does but on a much longer time. Remember that there are much risks on trading that's why I advise on just holding their bitcoin if they are newbies. Follow your earned knowledge, take advise but consider it as an option.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin completely erase the Traditional Banking System? on: January 23, 2024, 06:19:59 PM
I don't think so. Bitcoin is created to be an alternative to ever controlling banking system but it doesn't mean that it will replace it. There are so many reason why banking system/fiat system couldn't be demolished, one reason of it is the laws that currently exists in each of our countries. I also don't think that 100% of humans would want the ever comfortable banking system be demolished by bitcoin which most likely a new thing to them. There is a fear of the unknown, and I believe that most of the humans are still haven't tried or don't have any bitcoin knowledge.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people mostly fail in trading on: January 23, 2024, 09:43:42 AM
Most of the newbies accept trading as a get-rich-quick scheme, but it is never actually possible and it is a completely wrong decision. When a person thinks of trading, he only thinks positive thoughts to get rich, but before he thinks of such thoughts, he must also think of negative thoughts. Trading is a risky venture where there is no possibility of losing money. When you go to the market for trading, it is certain that you will suffer losses due to the volatility of the market. Anytime your money can go down due to market volatility, you should not get emotional but hold on patiently. But I think investment is more profitable than training because if you invest for a long time it will get a good result in future, but this is not the case in trading.
That was their mindset until they had tried trading. It's easy to assume that executing a trade is easy, buy low sell high, easy right? But the truth is there are other things that traders are doing before they achieve a successful trades. Research, technical and fundamental analysis are things that traders are commonly doing because it is proven that it can increase the chance of winning a trade. Most newbies doesn't know this as they only think that trading cost not that much effort.

Depending on how you see it, investing might be easier than trading. Though it will cost you time before your investment make a profit.
51  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't trust social media on: January 23, 2024, 08:07:07 AM
Beginners who are desperate to make money will fall for an offer like this , and if you go through the comments sections their are so many people who are so interested in this. Like if you go through the write up of this dude who claims to be bitcoin expert he said those that are finding it difficult to create a wallet he will help in creating the wallet and funding it. This is how many people will make mistakes to accept offer like this just because they want to earn quick.

Spending time to learn pays a lot and it prevent people from making painful mistakes. For those that have knowledge about wallet won't fall victim of allowing anyone to assist to create wallet. Spending time to learn is not a waste, it saves money from entering the wrong hands.

Beware, scammer can attack from anywhere, even popular apps like WhatsApp. They'll use tempting texts and links. Don't tap on links, particularly on your mobile. It risks revealing personal information like your mobile banking details or any you data. Always checking valid link or if you install app like android make sure use Android emulator.
I believe that one of the scammer most used messaging app is Telegram and the other one is whatsapp. There something into it that scammers like and ofcourse the number of people registered on these messaging apps. I personally see a lot of "contact me on whatsapp" type of post, most of this kind of post are just scams or will take advantage of you that's why I don't really like engaging in these type of people.

There are people who can be a victim to this scam, they aren't aware of this and mostly they don't even know how to run an android emulator. This is why there are still people who are falling to this obvious tricks by the scammers.

If something is too good to be true, then it's not true.
52  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: January 23, 2024, 07:17:44 AM
It's all about the promotions at the end of the day op. There are a shit-ton of crypto gambling sites these days which is why it's a saturated environment, but the ones that stand out usually offer tempting promotions along with great reputations.

This is how they cleverly market both their casino games and sportsbooks based on what I observed.
True. Casino want to stay visible as much as they can this is why I believe they are spending tons of money just for advertising. They want to be relevant as much as possible as this is important to gamblers, we can see trendy promotions on every casino nowadays. Just imagine the money that there are crypto casinos that are sponsoring professional sport teams and even appearing on large event as a major sponsor. They know that the return to them is much better compared to the money they had invested on marketing their casino.
53  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: January 22, 2024, 01:43:44 PM

I agree that Curacao gambling licenses are useless. Having a useless gambling license creates the fake sense of legitimacy, but the casino can still find ways to scam the gamblers.
Decentralized gambling should become the future. Betting directly from your cold wallet and receiving the profits directly to your cold wallet (minus a certain fee)should become the new normal. If decentralized gambling becomes a thing, why the hell would you trust a third party, by depositing your precious coins there and conducting useless KYC.
The problem is that nobody wants to invest in truly decentralized gambling projects.

I definitely think decentralized gambling has potential to shake things up.  Putting more control into players' hands about their money and personal info makes sense.  And it'd be tougher for shady casinos to take advantage.

but the issue is that big, traditional gambling outfits still have all the power.  Theyve got the cash and sway to lobby against decentralized gambling.  Plus they know how to aggressively market their own products.

So, they face an uphill battle against the entrenched gambling industry giants.  These big dogs won't go down without a fight.

I'm sure that there will be a time where gamblers will prefer decentralize more over the widely known centralized casino. There's a pros and cons with decentralized and centralized casino but on our current state, gamblers still like playing on centralized casino because on how easy to engage on gambling even there's a KYC requirement on centralized casino.

Sooner or later, decentralized casino will find a way to make gamblers switch on their gambling site, one idea I'm thinking is incentivizing them with airdrops. This can replace the deposit bonuses of centralized casino if ever it happened.
54  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 🔥 Bitcoin Accepted Store Spotted 🔥 on: January 22, 2024, 09:52:33 AM
Qualified kaya yung mga stores na nag aaccept ng local crypto wallets natin or payment processor like coins.ph, paymaya and gcash?

Currently wala akong alam na store dito sa area ko na nag aaccept ng bitcoin payment or any cryptopayment. Last bull market is nag sulputan yung mga store cryptopayments, pwede din direct to wallet payment like dadaan sa blockchain mismo at isa sa example nun is SLP ng axie infinity. If maalala niyo napakadami ng nag aaccept ng SLP payment sa stores and as expected, tinangal lang din nila ito since bumagsak na yung value ng SLP.

If may makita ako na mga stores sa area ko na nagaacccept ng bitcoin payment, I'll rush here sa thread para ipost ito.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do people always play gambling even if they always lose? on: January 22, 2024, 09:19:47 AM
Many time people play gambling even they loss Because of addition. who gamble for fun they always play gambling game in there free time not always and they always put the bet how much they afford to loss. So those who gamble even after thousands of losses are gambling addicts. And people addicted to gambling always lose more than they can afford and they suffer a lot.  And thousands of losses cannot stop them from gambling.
I started gambling without knowing about gambling in the first place. I lost a lot of money without understanding at first. Gradually when I learned to understand gambling, I got a sense of gambling. Since then the losses have decreased. If someone is addicted to gambling, it is never a good thing.  Can't do it in life. I was once a complete gambling addict and am slowly trying to wean myself off gambling. I know I can't quit gambling completely because once addicted to gambling they can never quit gambling.
Never quit gambling? I doubt that. I am an ex-gambling addict and currently, I know for myself that I can fully control myself from gambling temptation.  I know that I can fully stop doing gambling if I want to, I just play gambling if I want to with a strict budget to be used on a session. Believe in yourself, you can quit gambling even if you are once an addicted gambler, there are a lot of addicted people who quit their vices for good. I'm sure there are people here who has the same case as me, don't ever thing that gambling will linger with you forever because you don't have any choice.
56  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much knowledge is enough to satisfy an individual on: January 22, 2024, 06:37:26 AM
Knowledge is power but humans can't learn it all even if we spend 100% of our time learning everything we want since knowledge the can be learned is endless and still increasing day by day. This is why we humans has learning satisfaction, totally everyone has a different learning levels.

About your friends, I think that it's not that they are not satisfied with their current money on their wallet, I believe that they just don't want to let go this the opportunity of buying bitcoin at this price point and still earning from trading at the same time. It's not about the satisfaction, it's about taking the opportunity that is laid out and waiting to be grabbed.
57  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which Casino and Sportsbook have the best UI? Which others can improve? on: January 22, 2024, 06:06:13 AM
We all have our own preference if we are talking about UI. There's no one size fits all on UI. Personally I like a simple and straight forward on casino, having no too many pages and bustabit is the first gambling site that I can think of. It's easier to ctrl+f on a casino that has few pages to be honest.

I don't expect much on sports book design since it involves a lot of text and numbers on their UI but I think what really matters most is how easy can users familiarize a sportsbook design. How progressive can customer on using the sportsbook over the time.
58  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be deceived!! on: January 20, 2024, 07:38:17 PM
I just recently encountered an application that is for mining a certain altcoin. The term "mining" is widely misused nowadays, mining is for real computation work and it cannot be run on a mobile phone even if the phone is closed. I believe Pi network is the one who first introduced it to mobile phone which is an absolute BS, now there are new projects that are doing the same thing but shockingly there aren't really any complaints about this mining thing on their application. Newbies can misunderstood what mining on cryptocurrency really is if this becomes normalized especially on altcoin scene.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your plan with Bitcoin? on: January 20, 2024, 06:26:03 PM
Hi all,

I started investing in crypto February this year but due to the high price of Bitcoin did not start investing in it until mid June just after the crash.

Since then I have been DCA every week and currently own 2% of a Bitcoin at an average price of £17,900.

My goal is to hold Bitcoin until it reaches £500k - £1m, i know it will take a long time but will be worth it.

I am hoping these current prices last a lot longer so that we can all continue to DCA at low prices.

Just wondering how everyone else invests in Bitcoin? How often do you buy and how long do you plan to hold?
I'm doing a DCA as well, it's the easiest and best solution in my case. I think that after we pass $100k probably I would start selling little by little, in my opinion in the next bull run I don't think we'll be able to go beyond $150-160k, that's why at $120k I may sell 20%, at $130k another 20%, and so on. The idea is to buy again at a discounted price. I don't care selling at the top or buying the the bottom, whoever is able to do that is just plain luck and it happens maybe once or twice, so even if my timing is not the best I don't care, I'll be happy anyway.
As long as you bought during the bear market or the accumulation phases, you will make a profit during the bull market. Profit is profit and we should be happy because of that. I personally believe that selling portion by portion is a good way of liquidating our assets during a bull market, I had done it in the past and I'm planning to do it again when the bull market comes. This make sure that you won't have any regret in selling it all in a somehow undesirable selling price.

Taking profit is important thing to do and buying an asset again to roll your money is much more important. I failed to understand and execute it in the past that's why I had a bad bear market in the past.
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do people always play gambling even if they always lose? on: January 20, 2024, 07:39:26 AM
For the same reasons why people still drink and smoke even though they know that it is killing them.

Habits.

Gambling also makes you greedy so it is more dangerous than smoking and drinking. Not health-wise directly but since your health also depends on your finances, one can even say that gambling affects your health more than smoking.

Gambling gives you an illusion that you can become rich without having to work hard. In the end it only makes you poorer.
We receive feel good hormones from doing gambling, even if know that there are consequences on what we are doing, we still do it for the sake of enjoyment and making money from gambling. It's hard to resist this vice especially if you experience winning, just like other vices it is hard to stop and it can cause addiction.

I believe that the adrenaline rush we get from doing gambling is what make it addicting as it was my own experience. Though now that I have a low gambling activity, I hardly felt any anymore. Maybe it's the repetitive gambling activities that makes me not play regularly.
