341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In the best interest of investors, Bounties shouldn't be paid in Tokens on: October 22, 2023, 03:35:16 PM
well i dont mind paid in any currency either native token or stable one, as long they dont cut the rates when native token rise up and they decided to pay with stable one
lol, best interest for them not for sake the rules already accepted in the first sign
Bounty managers don't usually change their rates unless you are payed on a dollar value of their native token. In short, the number of token would be lesser if the token value rises. Though it can't be guaranteed since not all bounty campaign are handled by reputable campaign managers, some campaigns are handled by the project team members that can change the rules if they want since most of those bounty project rules states that they can change their rules at any given time.

But yeah, it's rare to see a forum member who don't mind to be paid in a native token, most of us here want to have a stable coin or some other altcoin that has a value as a reward.
342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your nice hit to leave the casino. on: October 22, 2023, 03:15:35 PM
Just in case, what amount will be looking like a nice hit for you to leave a casino just immediately for maybe your first, second or third hit on the machine as you have just walked in?
A few consecutive winnings even if it's just a small amount can satisfy me, and I decide to immediately stop gambling. So, my winnings will not be taken back by the house. I don't let my emotions get over me, knowing my priorities helps me to set a limit in gambling. As I know that even a small winning in a day, by doing this method regularly, that small winning will be profitable in the long run.

I have the same thought. It is more lighter to leave a casino with a win even if the winnings is not that big. It is just depending on the mindset that you have. A profit is always a profit and you are not a loser since you gain from the casino no matter how small or large the amount is. If I noticed that I got a consecutive greens without hitting a red, I personally will give up playing and just take home the winnings. Even if I just started because I can somehow get the sense of victory after profiting even for a short period of time, my mind would be screaming easy money in that kind of scenario.
343  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a formula for Bitcoin starters? on: October 21, 2023, 07:12:05 PM
Starting Bitcoin investment with little capital will be very challenging mostly if that happens to be the major survival option of the investor. And in cases where the investor plans on using the proceed to solve their needs they might end up selling when the price have dropped just to settle the pressing need of that time.

As experienced investors are there measures that can be imbibed by new investors with little capital to help boast their capital. Some will want to mention patience which I will agree to but in situations where the money is needed to meet an emergency need how to you tackle such situations. Your formula might be a saving approach.
If your money is used for your survival, don't think about investing first. Most of the time you will sell those investment when the time that you need the money and probably you will be on a loss. Increase your income first before investing even if it's not bitcoin. Use an allocated investment money that you will not use to other things, just dedicated to investing.

If you have the money to invest, accumulate some knowledge about bitcoin and you are the one who will decide if you will invest or not. The common knowledge is enough, no need to learn the technical side of it.

Just remember to not invest the money that is not allocated in investing, you will just end up losing or will not maximize the possible profit.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore on: October 21, 2023, 06:38:01 PM
There are many top altcoins which I won’t consider anymore. The reason is simple due to the low and irregular price. I would like to mention about Shiba Inu. I don’t know if it qualifies for the list of top altcoins or not. But yes it’s price is quite unpredictable, and if we see on a regular basis then it’s going down and down. I don’t want to incur losses, hence selling the Shiba or not buying it will be the wisest decision. This is just my own choice and decision is based on my own analysis.

The top altcoins are the most inefficient investment of your money as they do not outperform bitcoin investments by much, even at times yielding inferior returns. If altcoins can't beat bitcoin in terms of investment appeal, then why carry your money into these altcoins. SHIB has long been in that category of coins that went high and is now slowly dying. SHIB is a memcoin, and investing in memcoins is always attracted by probable high returns. It makes no sense to expect high returns from a token that has already managed to grow by a million percent.
I agree with that. The possible profit we can get from the altcoins who experienced a massive pumps in price has a lower chance of us getting the profits we desire. If we want massive profits, the hidden gems in the market are the one we should target and buy. The risk is high since it's hard to predict if those coins will really go high up but the possible profit we can get is massive whenever they sky rocketed. I highly agree with the example you showed, SHIB is one of those, it skyrocketed so high that the market will have a hard time pumping it on to that same level again or at make you a millionaire just like those who bought that coin on the time that it hasn't been noticed by the public.
345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card gambling fuels gambling addiction on: October 21, 2023, 06:07:57 PM
That's the reason why I don't link my credit card to my online casino, or I don't use my credit card to gamble because I know it will be a bad idea, and I will continue to use my credit card as I start it, so I keep away from gambling. Let's say it's my limitation; I only use the money that I allocate for gambling and have the discipline to not use other money. I value my money not to be lost, so as long as I can, I will never ever use my credit card for my hobby, which is gambling. Using my credit card for gambling is like having a debt that will take a toll on me and could get me into a tight situation, which I avoid as long as I can. Rather, I fuel my gambling from my other sidelines which I have invested.

What about using your credit card to pay for other hobbies you may have or you could have in the future?
Let us say you get into video games, movies or riding bicycles, etc. Would you still keep your credit card at bay or would not mind to get into a little bit of debt for it?
Because we can see the use of credit as only to be intended to pay for esencial things, but since those hobbies which I mentioned could be less likely to devolve into an spiral of money spending, some would may feel more comfortable spending on them than gambling.
I am on the side of only using the credit card to fuel esencial purchases and use debit for hobbies, not matter better they have anything to do with gambling or not.
We have a different hobbies and some of those hobbies are money generating hobbies which some of us can consider as investment, hobby is the secondary purpose. Depending on how financial literate you are, you can use your credit card to for good. As long as you know that you will not be in debt by using it or for short you are responsible in using your credit card, there's no harm in it. Having control on what or where to spend it is essential in having those. I believe that having a credit card is a huge responsibility since it can be a burden to you if you use it in a wrong way. My conclusion is credit card shouldn't be used on gambling, since just by using it there means you are not responsible.
346  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigeria socialite went all in on this sport bet on: October 21, 2023, 05:39:57 PM
They can afford betting on a higher stake given that they are rich and probably won't hurt them even if they lost the bet. There might be another reason like doing promotions on the casino that they are playing and it might be a sponsored bet by the casino, we won't really know. There are many high rollers out there but some of them just don't really show it off publicly. They can go on a higher level so I don't see any problem with that. I understand that influential people are sharing it on public because maybe they want to include it on their figure just like how drake are doing it.
347  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: October 21, 2023, 04:57:52 PM

If you take a look at the history behind cockfighting, you will realize it is a very ancient practice in many places where those animals were available for the folk population to raise and breed.
I do not know much about Bangladesh, but I would not be surprised if it was very widespread in the past and now has continued to be practiced in villages in that country, because the traditional weight it has.
Here in my country, we may not have as much history with that tradition, and yet we still partake in it, being Bangladesh a country of the old world with longer history and access to cocks.

In the end, all of this goes back onto the tradition versus progress argument. Whether tradition is such of a an important thing, so it is necessary to make animals to fight themselves in a savage way.

The cock fighting was the very old way of the gambling by our previous generation, the ancient people use the animals for the gambling. The history says that, the gambler will play the cock fight and breed the winning cock to the next generation.Actually they will kill the beaten cock and eat as their food. This was the strongest belief by the cock fighting in most of the cock fighting origin countries.Actually in your country Bangladesh, the gambler will do the cock fighting. The cock fighting was still available at the Pakistan,India,Vietnam and some of the Asian countries. This country people had huge wish on this game.
It is somehow similar in my own country which is Philippines. I have some experience in cockfighting and entering the cockfighting arena since my father and grand father used to participate in this cockfighting events as a breeder and has fighting cock. The strongest cock is the one the is bred to produce a potentially stronger cock. If there's a cockfight, the winning gambler will take home the losing cock which is probably dead and cook it to be eaten or serve in a drinking party after a winning game. That is based on my experience but today, I haven't entered the cockfighting arena for a long time and I don't know if it is still being done by cockfighting gamblers. Maybe they are still doing it since it's a tradition that is still being passed.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on staying responsible. on: October 20, 2023, 11:52:18 PM
Let's discuss the unique challenges of responsible gambling in the world of cryptocurrencies.

Crypto gambling can be fun, but it's important to keep our financial boundaries intact.

Share your tips and thoughts on staying responsible in this digital realm.

Imho, what's even more important than setting a reasonable budget is your attitude towards gambling. If you treat it seriously, as a job, you are far more likely to fail. Treating gambling as a hobby, just for fun, helps a lot.
It depends on how much you seriously you are taking it. There are people who are very cautious when they are doing gambling, we can somehow calling it extreme risk management where every move they do is calculated and the gambler knows the risk of it, we can find those people in high level poker tables. But yeah, treating gambling as a hobby makes it fun and enjoyable to play without much thinking about what result to get after a gambling session, though I think that the winning chance is not that high as you are trying to spice up things and I'm assuming that you are willing to take risk more than what you can really do to achieve a sudden adrenaline rush.
349  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: October 20, 2023, 11:21:58 PM
True, kakacheck ko lang ng marketprices at sobrang baba na talaga. Imagine yung terminator team before parang isang motor na tapos ngayon parang jolibee meal nalang haha. If maging trend ulit yung NFT games is for sure tataas ang axie given na isa sila sa still developing till now at may future potential coin like RON na pwede gamitin sa platform ng skymavis.

No idea lang sa magaandang axie since nag papalit palit yung meta.

Ang problema lang is I think pwedeng ma abuse yung ganitong way of distributing SLP if wala silang strict rules or mechanics about it. I'll try to check it out later kung pano to gumagana since nasa axie origins yung photo na nainclude mo at matagal tagal na din since nung last update ko ng origins sa PC ko.
350  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Traditional business or investing in bitcoin? which one is good? on: October 20, 2023, 11:02:07 PM
Parehas ay may kanya kanyang risk involved. It also depends kung ano yung experience mo both fields kasi yun yung important thing about it. Both are good depende kung ano ang view mo sakanilang dalawa since parehas naman sila may risk. Though for me mas pipiliin ko yung crypto kasi siguro mas mahaba yung experience ko sa cryptocurrency compared to having a business. Umaasa ako this time sa crypto cycle which is I think nasa middle na tayo ng cycle. Nag promise kasi ako sa sarili ko na mag cocommit ako na gagawin ko best ko this cycle.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play equal to deposited funds before you can withdraw on: October 19, 2023, 07:58:38 PM
I find it's bullshit if they ask for their user to wager 10x or 50x ot whatever from their deposited amount but 1x is pretty sensible and if someone didn't want to bet then they shouldn't be deposited in the first place.

The actual reason for the wagering requirement to exist is to avoid money launderers and if there is no such requirements in place then they can deposit millions and bet a few hundred then withdraw everything as whitewashed then the casino will have to face legal issues and charges and if that can be avoided with one rule then it doesn't sound like bullshit to me.
Yep, wagering the deposited amount is sensible because of money laundering issue though there are people who are in change of heart and not to do bets anymore after realizing the deposited the amount. There's should be another options for gamblers and should not be stuck in force wagering just because they want to withdraw their money. One thing I'm thinking is limiting the wager amount depending on the amount of deposit, having amount brackets on how much times should they wager or if they don't need to wager because the amount is too small. One other thing is to just have a stricter KYC option like having a recorded video call why they withdraw the money without spending and asking for reason. I think we all need options on situations like this.
352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ? on: October 19, 2023, 06:54:44 PM
Will you leave gambling if your future wife/husband tells you to do this ?
Yes of course, I won't sacrifice the love because of gambling. If the consequence is to high like having a deep argument or broking up because of gambling, I wouldn't risk it. It will just stop doing gambling or try to negotiate with my wife because we all know that gambling isn't something that you can quit instantly if you are playing it regularly or it is part of your entertainment. I think slowing down or slow quitting will do until you quit gambling.
353  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: October 19, 2023, 06:22:19 PM
What happened to Duelbits contests which were easily some of the most popular contests in this forum sometime back? Their multiplier battles were really entertaining and attracted a lot of attention.
It just stopped. Maybe it was not as effective as before in attracting new and existing users to play. But it was really fun on joining to such competitions specially if you knew that how reputable the manager and the casino are.

I think because they focus on tournaments event on social media to have a better scope compared to Bitcointalk which has a limited participants. Their social media giveaway and contest is very popular due to their strong community. They stop tournaments here in the forum after they consistently doing this on social media.

We are still bless that Duelbits still consider the forum as valuable place to promote due to their huge campaign budget weekly.

this is a good point too
even though bitcointalk is a niche community with a probably higher than average income and participation in crypto markets (bell curve slightly more over the left in terms of income than other niches due to early adopters), it's still small
you can have a much bigger reach using traditional social media like X or intstagram, youtube, tik tok.
True, if your a casino, you would want to have new gamblers or aspiring gamblers to start and gamble in your casino. Social media are the platforms to reach them since there are probably thousands of reach in a single post, what more if you boost the promotion you have on social media and reach millions. It is proven that doing promotions there is effective and can really improve your daily average players. Though promoting here doesn't mean throwing away promotion money since the forum will mostly talk about the casino also motivates the forum members to play and trust the casino, thus increase the reputation due to testimonies of current and past gamblers who experienced gambling in the casino.

Any recommendation kung ano ang magandang type na icollect for potential investment in the future?

True, kakacheck ko lang ng marketprices at sobrang baba na talaga. Imagine yung terminator team before parang isang motor na tapos ngayon parang jolibee meal nalang haha. 355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cockfighting? on: October 18, 2023, 04:29:13 PM
online cockfighting is legal in  several countries and so you can easily find it over the net. and still raking billions of dollars. and it seems that PH is leading on this one. then india, indonesia cuba, or france.
one can check this article - Countries With Legal Cock Fight Bets in the World just don't mind the gambling site they are recommending here. do your own search of the site.
the existence of this betting type seems to be more on the tradition of the area. how they evolved thru time and sustain this traditional gambling game.
As a local resident of PH, I think the masses in our country are more familiar with cock fighting rather than poker or at least in my area. There are at least 2 physical cockfighting arena in my city and it's neighboring city and there's no legal casino around. I live on a province in the Philippines and it is easier to find cockfighting arena than casino to be honest. Even my late grandfather raise cocks to fight in those arena! This is why I didn't get shocked when an online cockfighting casino rapidly grow in our country. I think cockfighting is a norm here.
It's basically business for platforms or service providers, they are always in the lookout for what's popular in a region so that they can offer that to the residents. Now the local betting shops or platforms know that people there love cockfighting and it is a very popular game among the masses that live in there, so they understand that if they offer bets for the cockfights, they can easily earn a lot of money from that because they obviously take some commission for the bets and lost bets are also kept by them.

You can barely find any platform offering the opportunity to place bets on an international level because the game is basically banned around the globe and it's only some countries where it's still allowed and it might not even be allowed but local authorities allow it and they don't get those arenas seized.
Of course there's business included but I don't know about the expansion of cockfighting business in our country aside from the online casino that just recently stopped by our government. Our local cockfighting arena existed before I knew it, this somehow means that the cockfighting arenas are a long time business and I guess regulated by our government since cockfighting arena are pretty much old and I haven't seen a new cockfighting arena in our local area since then. Maybe they just don't want to overpopulate these arenas, so thus there's a chance that future generation can lose interest in raising cocks to fight in those arenas.
356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Navigating the World of Online Gambling on: October 18, 2023, 04:02:41 PM
We navigate by following the stars... in this case, the star is BTCGosu. It's not just that we get the real and tested info about the crypto casinos around, we get some protection as well! BTCGosu will help us if we have issues with the crypto casino, especially if we are playing under the Gosu link. Basically, it's simple, you try it and you will find out. Smiley
It's essential to have a website or a service that provides unbiased reviews and true guidelines regarding a certain industry, and BTCGosu is the one for the gambling industry. There might be a lot of review websites but most of them aren't reliable, just take TrustPilot as an example which is full of biased and fake reviews from users of either the same platform or from other platforms that want to show a negative image of a certain gambling platform.

Some people might think that such things don't have a lot of influence but it's not true, in the past, I've always tried to look for reviews regarding any platform before joining it, and if someone sees that a platform has a good trust rate on such websites, they might get a wrong perception about it. So, it's important to have a platform that actually provides you with the reality and no biased trust ratings.
The sad part is not every gamblers know what is the trusted casino reviewer or know this forum. This is why casino still pay casino reviewers because they know that even there's still a possibility that someone who are finding a crypto casino will drift to the casino reviewer that they paid to make a bias review. The search engine can't filter out those bad casino reviewers that's why I think it will be hard for gamblers who are finding a casino to find this forum or other legitimate and trusted casino reviewer. It will be their luck if somehow they ended up on a trusty reviewer.
357  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Junket Operator on: October 18, 2023, 03:34:53 PM
The one who collected the money or investment are social media influencers which has a huge followers, they keep flexing all their money on social media which attracted investors after these influencers offered an investment plan. Victims told the media that they suppose to get investment contract but instead they receive a loan contract turned to be a red flag. It's not a small amount but the people who invested are just blinded how good the offer is and also how good the influencer convinced the victims. There are victims that the source of money was casino junket after other victims exposed the social media influencers.
If thats the case then its clearly it was a scam since from the start. How people do get blinded about having signing up some loan contracts instead of investment contract if it was really that an investment?

It does really shows on stupid those people are and making investments blindly without even trying to dig out on whats the real deal that they are facing on, on which they are really just that too much focused on
getting those returns without even trying to look on what are those potential risks that they could face on.Its always been that a golden rule that everything that turns out too good to be true then its most likely a scam or definitely a scam but still there are really that those stupid people who cant really just resist even it is really that obvious that it is really that clearly something fishy with those.
Getting some huge % on a specific amount of time without doing anything? You should really be thinking up twice already because there's always a catch always in the end and this is something
that you should really be looking into.

You wont really be getting wrecked if you had just made yourself that wise when it comes to decisions and really that making use of your own common sense rather than on making
yourself getting blinded with those offers which are obviously that a scam attempt but people do really likes on losing money first before they would really be learning their
lesson on which this had been always the case.
The victims told that they trust those influencers with the reason of those influencers are rich and always flexing their toy collection and money in their socials. They are blinded with the possibility of they can also get rich along with those influencers but the sad truth is they really wont. I also think that they are blinded by the 5% return each month which they said is guaranteed, obvious red flag. It's just sad to see people are still getting scammed by this kind of investment scheme which is unsustainable if we view it long term. I hope with the trending topic of this scam incident in our country, my country man should be awake that not all investment are true even if it came from a person who has a lot of influence.
358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest Low Cap altcoins for next bull run on: October 18, 2023, 02:52:17 PM
I can say that investing in altcoins is a good choice to maximize profits. You can consider adding coins like SUI, APT, ARB, OP to your investment portfolio. This is just a personal opinion and is shared for us to collectively reevaluate our own investment portfolios
I like the altcoins that you dropped there. I personally have those in my portfolio for the next bull market. They have a good market cap despite of being created in the bear market, there's also a lot of support from their own community which is good. I'm still accumulating some of the coins listed but I don't think I will stop accumulating since I'm doing DCA in those tokens. Let's hope that those coins will still be alive when the bull market happen or will survive the bear market at least.
359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give Bitcoin investment time on: October 18, 2023, 02:13:02 PM
When people start up a company, they give it some years before they expect profits. Most times they even re-invest their profits to expand and build their company to the standard they desire and this requires time. Furthermore, when people buy stocks of a company or make investment in businesses, they give it time which run into years before they expect profits.

Unfortunately, when people buy Bitcoin, they expect huge profits within a short period of time. This is the source of panic and fud that is exhibited by many Bitcoin investors.

While educating people about Bitcoin, I think it is wise we tell them Bitcoin need time to yield profit, let us change our approach in sharing Bitcoin knowledge so that people will not come into Bitcoin with the mindset of get-rich-quick.
Probably those people who thinks that they can earn huge profits from bitcoin in a short time lacks education or knowledge in bitcoin. Those people are the one who are getting eaten by the market and most likely on a loss before they quit. Comparing to other asset like stocks and forex, bitcoin is way too volatile that you can gain fast profits really but there are people who really are over expecting. Maybe they saw people who got rich so quickly by doing crypto which is I think during the bull market. This is why educating people is important in bitcoin or in crypto in general.

Kawawa mga naliquidate dahil sa fake news nayun, do you think na somehow manipulation yun ng cointelegraph? A reputated news crypto article publisher. Neutral ako sa nangyari since wala akong position pero I think proof ito na sobrang laki ng impact if ma matuloy yung bitcoin etfs. Nabasag ng sobrang bilis yung matigas na resistance, imagine more if legit news yun. Mag instant long siguro ako once confirmed na talaga.
