There are many people who have been scammed this last year with the livestreams that they made on YouTube with hacked channels, but really if you think about it, nobody is going to multiply x2 the btc that you send to the wallet that they indicate.
You won't fall for it only if you know that it is a scam because most people that are desperate and are newbie when it comes to earning money online so whenever there is someone who presents them the idea of doubling their money, they don't hesitate or doubt because they don't know that it is a scam.

Privacy mate, that's also what bitcoin and cryptocurrency gives so many people, it's pointless racking brains about other peoples wealth or who owns a particular bitcoin wallet if the wallet is not in the books for any crime or in association with one. -in between it may be a group owned wallet and not a single person- .
People will still pry no matter what privacy measures they take and even the impossibility of knowing will not stop these people because that is just human behavior. There is only one person that is guaranteed to have a 1 million bitcoin which is Satoshi Nakamoto. But if it isn't Satoshi then that is a pretty dumb way to store your bitcoin considering that it will be over in just one attack which isn't likely going to happen but possibilities are still possibilities.

The biggest risk in crypto in my opinion, have to be prepared if one coin that we have falls in value like from 1000 $ in the future it drops to 100 $ and it takes a long time to return to 1000 $. because with the decline in coins, then we will experience losses and our capital is held back In my opinion, the biggest risk is losing / holding our money in one of the coins
So you mean volatility right? I don't think that it won't be a risk anymore because if you look at it, that volatility could be someone's opportunity to get into bitcoin. Always expect losses so you don't run into unnecessary stress of upsetting those losses.

I don't think the price can go down to zero but there is a possibility for it to decrease to much lower levels than now of course. But things are going really well for Bitcoin now. The price is at a very great level and its adoption continues to increase. But the Bitcoin team should definitely find a solution for high fees which is happening when the price goes to the moon. Because it really doesn't make me feel good when I pay too high fees for my transactions.
There will always be a possibility that the price will slump to zero but I don't think that we have to worry about that from happening because there are a lot of companies right now that is currently invested in bitcoin and I think that they are our first line of defense when it comes to that because they have the biggest interest that they have to protect. I hope that they will fix that because I believe that if the fees are kept at minimum or low then the developers can focus on other things.

He basically commited scam and therefore the sentencing is justified. I hope this sentencing should reform him so that he does not commit such crimes in the future. This should also be an eye opener for those who have committed scams in the past or are planning to commit in the future, that you cannot escape the law.
I don't think so, I assume that you haven't seen the penal system in US, most first offenders that got out of jail has a high chance that they will become repeat offender. US prison system is not made to reform the criminals but to only make them more angry and smart. Only way for him to not become a repeat offender is if the kid was to get a job that specializes in coding because that skill can be used for something good, maybe the Federal government might take in this kid if he can prove his skills.

One thing is for sure about bitcoin and almost anything in this world to be honest, and that is if you just keep whining how X can make me rich instead of how can I use X to make me rich then you will arrive at nothing because you never had any plans to do action, you want the spoon fed to you instead of the other way around.

Oh sure, it's hugely debatable. And while I definitely get your point, unfortunately we simply need custodians early on. Not everyone is ready to "be your own bank" right off the bat, because it's undoubtedly going to be a very very foreign concept for most people because everyone has simply gotten so used to custodians. The goal is to just slowly but surely steer people off custodians as they learn more and more about bitcoin and self sovereignty.
You are right, the narrative of being your own bank has been so ingrained that we forgot that not everyone has the ability or wants to keep up with the technology that makes them independent of custodians. I agree with the idea of taking it slow because it helps bitcoin seep in to the depths and I don't want bitcoin to become a one-hit wonder.

From the governmental side, there are many on the frontline. Whoever feels threatened by Bitcoin's existence is going to try fighting against it. I don't think there's any specific governmental body that works against cryptos. From the Bitcoin side, devs are the frontline, followed by us.
The thing is, it seems like in Bitcoin's case, lines of code have more power than a government does. This seems insane but it's how it is.
Personally, the people that are afraid of bitcoin and is waging a war against it are the people that are afraid that they will lose control of the population, we know that bitcoin is a tool to financial freedom that has been shackling people ever since the first banks were created and this freedom meant that people will not rely on banks and eventually lead to their ruin so to prevent that from happening, they have to do whatever it takes to defame bitcoin but most of the time those schemes backfires.

Since it pretty much carries the cryptocurrency name to the public, there is a high tendency that if bitcoin were to die, people's insights and opinions about cryptocurrencies could change for the worst. And that's probably the reason why most banks out there attack bitcoin solely, since they knew that if the bitcoin hype were to die, the ones that came along with it will too eventually.
There are some cryptocurrencies that can take the crown if bitcoin were to go down guns blazing (knock on wood). What I mean by that is bitcoin has been in the cryptospace for a decade or so and along the way there are other that followed suit so I think that even if bitcoin were to die, people can just migrate to other cryptocurrency and make it get big but I doubt that they will be able to do what bitcoin did in a decade.

The simpsons will make a comeback to streaming services instead of TV I guess not too far off. Of course one of the episodes will have special guest Satoshi Nakamoto himself once Bitcoin hits mainstream You still think that the real satoshi will become a special guest huh? Bitcoin in my opinion already has hit the mainstream so I think satoshi showed himself a long time ago. Most of the Simpsons' episode in streaming services are cropped so I think a lot wouldn't enjoy the subtle censorship that is in the streaming services, they don't need a comeback, they have been here for a long time and I don't think that this is the time that they are going to end.

I don't think a world war can happen. In any case, I do not think that this will be the time for crypto.
If you read the news especially from different sources, you can see how tense the relations between superpowers and rogue nations are one snap is all that it takes for a war to burst out. If ever a war was to break out, I don't think that bitcoin is going to be the first of the things we have to worry because war claims any lives it can get its hands on so your life is the priority more than bitcoin.

It's impossible. Do not hope for such a thing.
No one in their right mind will hold onto the the hope that it will go up at that price but how do you know that it is impossible for bitcoin to hit that prices by the end of the year, I mean there have been a lot of things that happened in this past 3 months which shouldn't have happened because we believe that it will follow the same pattern as the last halving but it was debunked when a continuous ATH spike happened so maybe, it is too early to say it is impossible.

What makes you think that the testimonies and opinion of your friends is enough to justify the fade out in popularity of bitcoin? Because the only time that it will matter is when you have around 100 million friends which is close to impossible if not impossible. There are a lot of countries and people that isn't reached by the digital tentacles of bitcoin so I think it is still too early to say that it is losing popularity considering that there aren't a lot of people that knows about bitcoin compared to global population, I think that it isn't even considered famous in the first place.

If you are talking about the short term risk/reward ratio, then you are correct, the higher the price goes, the higher the chance of it falling back. But if it's going to be long term investment, no matter when you invest, you will eventually get profit as long as you don't sell them at a loss.
Hopefully that will be what the bitcoin market is going to follow because that is how stock market goes in a long term. And if bitcoin were to really do that then that means that in the future the growth is going to be much higher than what is the price currently. The people that fear the drops in bitcoin prices are the people that are greedy and wants to get their money quickly thinking that that is how investing works.

By then, the typical "you cant use bitcoin to pay for anything" FUD will finally be fully invalidated(even though it was already untrue for years). I wouldn't be surprised if this ended up like BitPay though, but I'm not complaining.
I don't think that FUDs will be fully invalidated because people who spread FUD is going to make another angle on the narrative like it is volatile for purchasing or not a secure way of payment, they will just find another way to make stupid FUD. Maybe with the help of VISA, Bitcoin network will get bigger because a company can make the necessary infrastructures to improve the speed and overall performance of bitcoin.

Truth be told and to separate me from people who pretends to say that I will hodl it until this point which is clearly just a hindsight, if I bought at that price, I would be pretty naïve and will sell when the prices go up more than my investment, it could be between 150$ or 1000$ because I didn't know that bitcoin would grow in prices like the present.

you'd have a high possibility if you run a campaign in the forum and buy a forum ad auctioned by Theymos. this will turn the spotlight on your casino and will make users try out. yes, you will spend on marketing a new casino, that's just the way to go.
they do further in order for the business to survive the competition but once you get there like the trusted casino, they could already roll the money they earn while also spending for the marketing. there is no stopping to remain on top.
Not to mention that their team is going to help users of this forum get some extra cash for the job for promoting their website through signature campaign and with that you can consider yourself a contributor on this platform that is hopefully grows steadily. Trust is another thing you have to prove which is completes the part of becoming an established casino in the forum.

Lots of titles I haven't watched yet. I highly doubt they could create a good one because of the pandemic . But my focus is on the best animated features. Pandemic = focus on animations. You can't say that they didn't create a good film if you haven't watched any of it yet, isn't that a little paradoxical to assume that the movies are bad even though you haven't watched any of it. I haven't seen any of it yet so I don't have any predictions but there is still a lot of time before the awards so maybe I can catch up and predict.

Maybe that is a scenario from the other higher officials who involve in the corruptions because sometimes, that can hide their prove about the corruptions. If some officials getting jails, that will be temporary, but the truth is, they can handle the other corruptions from the jail because their network is too wider. We really need clean officials who can work to eradicate corruption, and although that is not easy, they need to cooperate with the other officials who also can be trusted. Easy to say that we eradicate corruption but the only way to really have it completely eradicated is when we do an ironclad policies regarding corruption like death penalty for proven cases of corruption. Honestly, it is going to be difficult to eradicate corruption because we can't defeat human nature that is the root of corruption, with people that is striving for more power, wealth and influence, I think that we still haven't got any progress of eradicating it.

I really liked the book about the cyber criminal, but didn't like this movie, which I expected more from! It's very strange that Dread Pirate Roberts' helpers are not covered in the movie... Also the movie didn't cover the main reason for catching Ross Ulbricht - his E-mail... In general the plot seemed to me to be as compressed as possible...
You will be disappointed if you expect something out of a movie that has a limited time that they need to fit all the more important parts, the reason that they might not have added the helpers is that it doesn't evoke any sensational feeling in the movie.
