3141  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin Help The Poor on: January 23, 2021, 02:27:27 PM
Yes, it could help the poor only if they would know how to transact and invest using it. It would be best if they would know how to grab all the opportunities being offered by crypto. It could provide jobs and opportunities if we'll only dig deeper to crypto world. Bitcoin actually helps faster and instant transaction which is really beneficial for all of us.
3142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling All BTC for ETH this Bull Run on: January 22, 2021, 06:37:37 PM
I have heard that some high net worth individuals are unloading all their BTC for ETH.

Reason Being is ETH tends to outperform BTC in Returns in Bull Runs for example in 2017 and 2020. And with ETH recently making a new ATH in USD feels very bullish and looks it may do the same on ETH/BTC pair.

However after the the run or when they feel the top is in they will return the Ethereum back into BTC and hodl.

Do you think it's a good idea to hold more ETH than BTC rn?

It depends on how you see the possible movement of the market in the future. We have different instinct and speculations and we could rely our decisions on what we feel. I have actually sold my Btc when the price reached 40k and bought Eth from my profit. Both BTC and ETH are actually worth holding but things will depend on our investing strategy.
3143  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Coinless 2025 on: January 22, 2021, 05:42:24 PM
3144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people still buying XRP? on: January 22, 2021, 04:24:38 PM
Possibly trying to convince themselves that Ripple Labs will turn these lawsuits around and be some sort of a fairy tale ending wherein everyone holding XRP will get handsome profits. Seriously, with all those exchanges delisting XRP on their indices, it’s unwise to really push your luck into trading these coins since you’re left out with platforms that are relatively new and unproven when it comes to reliability and integrity. Also you’ll be facing liquidity issues since a lot has already dropped their XRP due to the news. At this point, only the delusional will have faith in XRP, and that’s no exaggeration.

XRP couldn't even defend themselves against the lawsuit that they're facing so lots of investors are losing their trust for it. I have also sold my XRP holdings when I've heard about their issue and it was too alarming so I've decided to switch to potential altcoins that are worth buying.
People are still buying altcoins because they're taking advantage of the dip hoping that it could still survive and rise again in the future.
3145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Buy all Lotto Combinations - Win Big on: January 22, 2021, 03:28:30 PM
I've never thought that actually this kind of strategy in my fantasy has ever existed. But doing the strategy will really cost them money at first and it's a big syndicate back then having that amount because inflation wasn't yet a big deal by that time.

Do you think this time that a group of people will remake this strategy? for me, I don't think that there will be.

I was also shocked because this strategy has been in my thoughts for years. I didn't expect that it really happened in real life. I guess they have done that in connivance with the lotto operators before. However, I don't think that the same thing could happen again because there were already lots of changes in the mechanics and it will cost a lot of money and effort.
3146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple is dying on: January 21, 2021, 07:38:22 PM
XRP should regain the trust of their investors first because since the case has been filed against then, some investors have lost their trust and sold their XRP holdings. It doesn't mean that XRP is dying but the fact that it's being manipulated has a negative effect on investors. Most of them have switched to other potential and reputable coins and we can't blame them for that. Xrp should fix their case first before it's too late.
3147  Economy / Gambling / Re: Zamabet - Fair Crypto Casino on: January 21, 2021, 05:24:25 PM
I think it would be better if you have posted a complete detail about your site including your promotions and bonuses, especially for new users. As you know, gamblers are now skeptical in choosing a site so you should make sure that you have a good reputation to catch and attract more players. Complete information from the beginning would be a big help to prove your legitimacy.
3148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to avoid as a beginner in trading Bitcoin? on: January 21, 2021, 02:49:42 PM
Avoid trading without enough knowledge. One of the most common mistakes of new traders these days is that they're fighting a battle without enough weapon which is enough information about the advantages and risks of cryptocurrency trading. There are still lots of things to learn about trading from its terms to technical strategies. Proper handling and control of our emotions are also important. You'll encounter lots of analysis and predictions but some of those aren't real so you better learn how to deal with the possible changes in the market so you won't always rely on other's opinions.
3149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: January 20, 2021, 05:43:58 PM
If you have a lot of money to start trading and you are good and knowledgeable about trading, I think that you can get rich. The funds will be the priority because if you are trading with pennies then you will need a miracle and patience for instant wealth to happen to you.

Trading isn't about instant success. We can't get rich through it in just a single day because it takes a lot of courage for us to earn a good profit in this field. It's not just a capital that we need but we also have to dedicate our time and effort to pursue it. Trading is a long process of learning so we also need to have an eagerness to adopt the possible market changes and for us to deal with the volatility of the market. We should also know how to handle our emotions since the market is unstable and always changing. Trading all in all is a long journey and we have to be knowledgeable about it.
3150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the ultimate winner of Bitcoin pump? on: January 20, 2021, 05:00:47 PM
Any traders and investors who have gained profit are still considered winners during this Bull season. We should keep in mind that profit is still profit and having a good decision to buy before the pump and selling it when the price struck high was the best move. However, we could still do the same thing as long as we know how to invest with perfect timing. I believe that there are more traders and holders who have gained better profit this season than the 2017's ath.
3151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long will this scam go on? on: January 20, 2021, 07:24:48 AM
In just 11 years of cryptocurrencies existence we've seen a series of shitcoins coming up, making a choice on which coin to hold aside $BTC & $ETH $BET $DOT $ADA & LINK is becoming difficult, how best can I get to know more viable  projects like the ones I already have? When will the proliferation of shitcoins in crypto space stop? Who will check mate the proliferation of shitcoins?

Shitcoins and scam projects are already part of the crypto world and we can't control their existence but we can still do something to get rid of them. As the market grows, we should also grow and learn how to choose good coins. All the coins that you have mentioned have good potential and dividing our assets to invest in those coins would be worth it. If we'll stress ourselves of shitcoins, we'll never foster. Let's just focus on profitable coins and more opportunities being offered here in crypto world.
3152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - Buy in or Bail out? on: January 19, 2021, 07:04:22 PM
SEC has been really hard on XRP. It got delisted by big exchanges. Now I'm in a dilemma. Should I keep or buy more XRP or bail out?

Of course, Ripple would have something up their sleeves. But what's the possible future for XRP?

It's pumping and still active but it's hard to trust it anymore since we have all found out that it's a centralized coin. Anything could happen and the price could be manipulated easily so it would be a big risk. Their reputation isn't clean anymore so I would prefer to invest with potential and reputable decentralized coins.

3154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you combat your weaknesses in trading? on: January 19, 2021, 03:03:14 PM
It's not just you OP, a lot of traders have the same problem with you, even me, I admit that.
With poor risk management, you will gonna lose your all money 100%! That's why the best advice I can give to a newbie in trading is to practice risk management first. Because in risk management, you can minimize the risks and maximize the profits, always have a plan before opening a trade position.
If you are just starting to trade, try first small capital, and of course, it will come with a small position size for every trade.

That's the common mistake that we have to correct as traders. We're sometimes being carried away by the hype that we can't even do something to minimize the risks. Starting with a small capital will serve as a good training ground for us to practice actual trading which is needed for us to familiarize the possible risks with the market movement.
3155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many project SCAMS - PLEASE CAREFUL on: January 18, 2021, 03:42:38 PM
That's the reason why doing lots of researches upon entering the crypto world is important. There will always be scammers everywhere and the best weapon that we could have to beat them is awareness and enough knowledge. Also, we shouldn't be greedy and keep in mind that aiming to earn easily without exerting an effort has a big risk.
3157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All of a sudden they want to join crypto. on: January 17, 2021, 06:07:04 PM
Hahahaha I have been getting quite alot of engagement lately... and pretty sure I'm not the only one  it's crazy seeing dm's  from doctors, lawyers, engineers, astronauts & Olympians.  Parents wanted me to be any of the above and now they're in my dm's trying to learn about crypto and how I make 6 figures from holding/staking altcoins like $BET $LINK $ ADA. Hmmmmmmmmm life.

It's good to see that even professionals are seeking help when it comes to crypto investment. It simply means that they're now seeing the advantage of investing with cryptocurrencies because of their current value. I have friends who rejected Bitcoin when I introduced it to them but they're trying to contact me again to know more about it but I was the one to ignore them this time. It's not that I don't want to share things with them but I also want them to do their own research and have the eagerness to adopt and know all the risks and advantages of crypto investing and staking.
3158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hamster powered races on: January 17, 2021, 05:04:13 PM
I hope they don't stress out the hamster too much if ever there will be lots of players coming in. The owner should have different hamster that's fine with what they were doing and it's all fine against the animal welfare.

There will be no stressed hamsters as the owner stated that the game will depend on the hamster's mood. That's where the game will rely on.

In the case of massive bets, I think there will be several hamsters that can put on the action at the same time or by batches.

I've seen this race's video on youtube before and it looks fun and interesting. Some people are against it because they think that hamsters are being abused but they should know that hamsters need exercise. They get bored when they don't do active exercises and the worse thing is they just chew and destroy their cage so this game is beneficial for players and the hamsters being used to run the game.
3159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos ordered by IBF on: January 17, 2021, 04:13:08 PM
I don't think that it's just a favorable fight for Lopez because George Kambosos has been preparing well for his future fights since he also wants to prove himself. Lopez's records have an edge yet he still has a lot to defeat for him to be called the king. As for some boxing critics, his strategy is still defeatable and it still has a lot of loopholes to polish, so Kambasos should focus on Lopez's movements first.
3160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Joseph Stahura avoids jail for all the campaign funds he used for gambling. on: January 17, 2021, 02:31:53 PM
That sentence was too light for him to learn his lessons and I'm sure that he'll still be able to do the same thing in the future. If he couldn't discipline himself in using the funds that he doesn't own, how much more if he had won the position? I guess his power and position are also the reasons why the judge made that kind of decision which is not really fair for ordinary people.
