2961  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell Altcoins on: March 21, 2021, 06:25:43 PM
Hi guys,

a question which i had discussed with some of my friends before:

If you were invested heavy in alts but rather light in btc lets say 30% BTC / 70% alts you made a good profit in dollar.
BUT i have the feeling i wasted so much BTC to buy Alts and right now BTC has surpassed many of them by far.

Do you think it would be wise to sell some Alts for BTC right now?
Or is BTC dominance to high?

Really interested in your thoughts!

Kind regards.

As long as you bought potential altcoins, there's nothing to worry about your holdings though Bitcoin would really surpass them because there's always a right season to gain a good profit from all our altcoin holdings. Just try to forget about your altcoin investments right now and try to check on it when the alt season approaches. Also, profit is still profit, and don't feel disappointed if you couldn't reach your expected profit because sometimes, greediness could lead us to regrets.
2962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum gas problem to be resolved in July on: March 21, 2021, 05:21:33 PM
Still a long way to go, but then again doesn't necessarily guarantee that in july the gas will be truly resolved.
Best course of action is just to move on from the eth blockchain from the time being because lets be honest here, none of us could wait 4 months just to send some shrimp amount of erc tokens and 4 months is just too long when it come to this so I guess it's already decided that whoever who wants to send their tokens out there just send right now or waiting for 4 months.

4 months is really long and we still don't have any guarantee that it could really happen. The gas fee has been a huge burden for most of traders and sometimes, we couldn't even withdraw our funds because gas fees are higher that it. That's actually the reason why some traders switch to other altcoins.
2963  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Unable to trade because of my nationality on: March 21, 2021, 04:04:12 PM
There are a huge number of exchanges besides Binance. Why trade with Binance? For example, Bithamb or Okeh. Yes, there are a lot of exchanges now. If you are trading for small amounts, you do not need to go through verification. In addition, there are so many decentralized exchanges where you don't need to ask anyone's permission at all. Yes, of course, you can only trade Ethereum tokens there, but nonetheless.
There are many more exchanges. I don't know if they are available in your country. But, as a rule, you can buy and sell there without any problems. There are automatic exchangers in messengers. In my opinion, this is more than a great choice.

If that is continuously happening then just look for other legit and reputable exchanges that wouldn't restrict you from registering. I just didn't thought that some Binance ban some countries. There are still other options for you to use especially those exchanges that don't ask for KYC.
2964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Considering huge transaction fees, what coins to support on new gambling site? on: March 21, 2021, 03:53:58 PM
Dogecoin has always been a popular choice and so has litecoin. Almost every casino that supports altcoins supports these two currencies. There are some coins with higher market caps but they are primarily used for smart contracts so not very many people use them for gambling. Doge and LTC's main purpose has been to avoid high fees. Doge is also very popular right now so you might as well take advantage of that since people will be looking for places where it is an accepted currency.

Popular and reputable gambling sites support these coins and I have been using them since we could save fees. It's more beneficial rather than Ethereum which has high gas fees. Shifting to potential coins with a lower transaction fee is the best choice that we can do especially during this ath. I hope that more gambling sites would accept and support more potential altcoins.
2965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk name once again used to fool people by hackers! on: March 21, 2021, 01:50:32 PM
'Sigh' it seems people will always behave foolish even when the reality is glaring right in front of them, how easy is it for some people to throw money around to people on the Internet, no wonder scammers are not trying too hard when we have the likes of him everywhere, I hope he learnt something from this and others who are potential victim should learn also Undecided

Lots of scammers these days are taking advantage of Elon's name to scam people and one of the common reasons why unwise people get scam is their greediness. They always think that anything that involves Elon's name is profitable. We can't deny the fact that Elon is really an influential person yet it's still our prerogative to be wise and observant on what to follow or where to invest with.
2966  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Alt Season on: March 21, 2021, 01:02:26 PM
Sa ngayon ay mahirap mag predict kung alt season naba or hindi pa kasi nag dominate ulit ang bitcoin kung saan pumalo ulit ito hanggang sa 40k USD which is good kasi sasabay na naman ang other coins but during sa pag baba ng price ng BTC eh naka maintain padin ang price ng ethereum kung saan ayaw nga nito bumitaw at there is a chance na mag pump at ayun na nga nakita natin noong mga nakaraang mga araw na tuloy tuloy padin at nakapag set na ito ng panibago nitong ATH which is good kasabay ng eth ay pumapalag nadin ang mga altcoins. Actually this is my year sa investment ng altcoins also got curious until ilang buwan ba mag run ang isang alt season?.

2967  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Being impredictable on: March 21, 2021, 11:53:17 AM
You have to play online and by this no one can predict your emotion.  Wink

This may not be true. Your emotions and strategies could still be predictable even if you are playing online poker.

For me, you can be unpredictable if you don't stick to a single strategy. Please don't treat me as an expert in poker, of course. I am mostly just playing for fun and even with fun poker games with little bets, my hand would still uncontrollably shake.

Anyway, having only one approach will make your play very transparent. Try to shift from one approach to another and your opponent will keep on guessing. Being too methodical in poker would be to your disadvantage. Playing only premium hands, for example, will soon become apparent to your opponent and you may easily fall to weaker hands through a bluff.

Be focus yet try to do different strategies because wise players could also read your movements. Try to create unique movements from time to time so your opponent wouldn't predict your future moves. Just be playful, tricky, and have fun while playing because sometimes you could be more readable if you're too serious.
2968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to invest in right now on: March 21, 2021, 09:28:58 AM
Which altcoins would you select to invest now?

Mine are:

EOS
Alpha
Mantra
Cartesi
Siacoin
XRP
Reef

As for me, BNB, Dot, Litecoin, and ETH are worth investing in since they have been showing good potential for years. XRP is also a good choice but I still find it risky to invest in it these days because of the lawsuit that it's facing. I hope that they would fix it as soon as possible because it has been affecting their reputation.
2969  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best 5 Altcoins to buy right now. My picks on: March 21, 2021, 07:45:20 AM
Of all the coins that you have mentioned, I'm only holding Kudama and Polkadot. These two has huge potential to grow more in the future especially dot. We've seen how they striked high these days. It might be too hard to Polka to beat Eth but I believe that it could really grow and develop more in the coming days.
2970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Artur Beterbiev vs Adam Deines Unified Light Heavyweight Title on: March 20, 2021, 02:14:10 PM
Here is the official trailer for the bout https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQvM2REAMUo

Beterbiev has some serious power in his hands but Deines is a hard man to hit, even when he is headhunting, and he is really active in the ring (albeit with a more inactive fighter), check out his fight with Zura Mekereshvili for some reference. This could be a barnburner.

It will be another tough fight but I guess Beterbiev has an advantage since he has a better record. However, Deines seems too prepared but he still has a lot to prove. It could be another milestone for him yet he still really have to perform his best since Beterciev is too playful on the ring. This is still an exciting match.
2971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies will be around in 10 years and why? on: March 20, 2021, 12:32:54 PM
Potential coins with a strong foundation could last for years or could even continuously grow and develop just like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Binance coin but I don't think XRP could last longer since it's facing suitcases. I think it still has a lot to surpass.
2972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy on: March 19, 2021, 06:35:55 PM
Would like to know what is the best strategy when using the slots games. Or maybe some good number spreads on the dice game. Any and all advice or inputs are welcome. For I am new to the game in any advice is helpful thank you and good luck.

I don’t think there’s any “strategy” that can be better than another. When it comes down to it, the best strategy might be dumb luck. If there were any foolproof way to win, you wouldn’t see so many online gambling sites.

Gambling is mostly about luck so applying a certain strategy still couldn't guarantee us good winning. I think the best thing to do is to enjoy and feel entertained by gambling but stop when you couldn't afford to lose what you're betting anymore. Your winning will depend on how you handle your funds.
2973  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start the trading and how to lean the tardine. on: March 19, 2021, 05:56:38 PM
Hi guys.

Kindly explain me how to start the tardine work and how to handle it. Kindly share your suggestion. Kindly share the link for the trading information and where to start the tardine project. Trading is easy or not. Without knowledge it easy to hand the tardine proces. It easy to get profit from trading. How to workouts.

As for me, the first thing that we should do is to learn about the risks of trading so you'll know how to deal with it. You should also learn how to control your emotions so wouldn't make quick decisions because trading needs presence of mind because one wrong move might lead to big losses. Have the eagerness to learn because trading is a long process of learning and even professional traders learn continuously. Remember that the market is volatile and you should know how to take advantage of its movements.
2974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still a good time to invest or not on: March 18, 2021, 06:14:29 PM
Bitcoin and other altcoins are recovering fast after the correction since three days now, is this a good time to still buy few altcoins or this bullish trend is a hidden trap door to bear market?

There's always an opportunity to invest but it will depend on the risks that you're willing to take. Investing in crypto is like gambling where you have to face the risks. As for me, there are still potential altcoins these days that are worth investing in. When it comes to Bitcoin, you should just learn how to deal with the market movement and you'll know when the perfect time to invest in it.
2975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Internet connectivity - Gambling wins/losses on: March 18, 2021, 04:52:30 PM
I have experienced it once and it made me feel really upset because I didn't expect that I would lose in gambling that time just because of the slow internet connection. It really made me feel angry that I even blamed the internet provider. From then on, I learned to check the internet connection speed first before betting. We can't deny the fact that the internet is a major necessity that we should be mindful of before we bet.
2976  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Protecting Human Rights Around the World on: March 18, 2021, 04:22:46 PM
Bitcoin for me is a good back up asset since it is future proof and secure. What is happening nowadays are just signs and warnings to those who are thinking of Bitcoin as just normal as fiat money and they will soon realize the true meaning of financial freedom.

Banks and different institutions were actually underestimating Bitcoin before but as time passes by, it continuously proves that it could exceed beyond their expectations. It became a treat for them but an asset that provides financial freedom for most of us. It just needs more adoption but that will take time.

2978  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc and alts on: March 18, 2021, 01:24:32 PM
Btc and alts don't actually repeat their history or follow any pattern because they're both unpredictable and volatile. I don't think the dump and pump differences aren't connected with each other because mostly different events are the ones that are affecting and influencing the changes in the market movement.
2979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone bettor or a competitive one? on: March 17, 2021, 05:53:55 PM
I used to avoid competitions and preferred to just place my own bets on sports to see how it goes. I was glad to win and sad to lose, and it was between me and sports. In autumn, however, I entered a Sportsbet EPL prediction competition, and after months of it going on, I must say that I do find it engaging when various people make predictions for the same games, and then I can see how other people are making their decisions and how they are performing as well. At first, I thought I had no chance there, but I'm currently lucky to be in top-10, so now I do care about remaining there Smiley

Do you prefer being on your own with your matches and bets or do you like to take part in various tournament to boost the competitive spirit of it all?

I always prefer to play on my own and apply my own strategies in gambling. I used to play against other bettors and compete with them but I ended up being disappointed and uncontested which ended up in certain losses and regrets. If I'm doing it alone, I could concentrate better and I could handle my funds well.
2980  Economy / Economics / Re: I think I know who satoshi really is Am I Crazy? He He.... on: March 17, 2021, 02:35:27 AM
Bitcoin was created in 2009 and we all know that Steve Jobs is a businessman. If he's Satoshi, he should have shared it and advertised it just like what he did with the gadgets and devices that he had made. We couldn't prove anything without any proof and evidence. Satoshi might still be alive until now. No one really knows.
