3101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do I still have a chance to get profit? on: February 04, 2021, 06:09:16 PM
If they are active then they should be doing something for their project to prosper and to be listed in an exchange because that's one of the first steps for your coin to have a good volume. It's been years and you still haven't gotten any profit and they're still on the same path so I guess it's the time for you to doubt. If there's anyway for you to stay in touch with them, then you better ask them about their future plan. The next time you'll invest your time and money, just choose top and trusted coins.
3102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the state of cryptocurrency is very difficult to predict on: February 04, 2021, 05:18:55 PM
We have predicted the current market based on what happened last 2017 but things are going the other way this time and it's now hard for everyone to predict the possible things that might happen in the market in the coming days. As of now, there are lots of new coins that reach a good spot in the CMC. More top coins are rising and I guess the market situation would still continue to boom because of the good events involving Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies around the world.
3103  Economy / Economics / Re: In 2021 to 2022 you decide your life and wealth on: February 04, 2021, 10:15:06 AM
In 2021 to 2022
If learn and try to push yourself hard enough.you can be very rich.
Or very poor  2021 to 2022 people will decide who they want be.

By the 2024 everybody must have decidede are they super rich or very poor.

What will you choose?

Things will always depend on the path that we choose. Our success depends on our hard work. We might be poor right now but we can do something to change it. We should look for better ways to earn rather than relying on luck or on our fate. We are the ones who are in control of our lives so we shouldn't waste our time doing nothing.
3104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptos are coming to physical Slot Machines - IGT received the patent! on: February 03, 2021, 05:48:30 PM
I hope that news can spread to many places on the internet, so many people can read about that, especially for the gamblers. They can directly use their crypto to the other gambling account, and I am sure that will get more attention from the gamblers, especially for crypto gamblers. It can boost the crypto market, and people who are often playing gambling can know more about crypto, and they can start to convert their fiat to the crypto.

It’s a good thing that physical casinos are now recognizing cryptocurrency. It's another way to let other gamblers switch to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies instead of fiat. It will be another way to attract more investors which has a positive impact on the market. Things are getting better for crypto these days and lots of adoptions are happening. I hope that more physical casinos would recognize and adopt crypto.
3105  Economy / Economics / Re: Miami Mayor Will Allow Employee salaries in Bitcoin on: February 03, 2021, 04:28:19 PM
They leader is too smart to take that step. It will be beneficial for their employees. I hope that more leaders would accept and have Bitcoin as a mode of salary payment. It will be a big help since we all need cashless transactions during this pandemic. Employees would have a freedom to choose whether to hold their payment or use it for their necessities. If leaders would have this kind of mindset, more people would see the advantage of cashless transactions these days.
3106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: May-Pac 2, will it finally happen? on: February 03, 2021, 03:42:44 PM
Even if it happens I doubt that it will be all-out boxing since we know what Mayweather did on their first fight. It can happen only because of public demand. Their win would be useless if they won't give a satisfying fight to their audiences. Pacquiao is an aggressive fighter so people are expecting that his opponent would also give a good fight too. We can say that's the strategy of Mayweather since then but those who watch the fight won't enjoy it.

Manny Pacquiao would persevere to win his future fights because he's planning to retire soon. I think it would be better if he'll fight other boxers except for Mayweather. Mayweather is just a trash talker and he's always full of drama. I guess the boxing champ doesn't deserve this fight. Instead of Mayweather, it would be more exciting if he'll fight against Conor Mcgregor.
3107  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did YOU start trading in bitcoin? on: February 02, 2021, 07:25:34 PM
It's quite a long process of learning for me. I started trading without any idea about it so I was eager to do my own research by reading articles and watching trading videos on Youtube. It was confusing at first but you have to trust the process. I studied all the trading terms and technical analysis as well as the possible movements of the coins that I'm investing with. It's better to start with just a small amount because it's critical in the beginning. Just trust your guts and have the eagerness to learn because aside from your funds, the best capital that you should have is knowledge.
3108  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat and cryptocurrency on: February 02, 2021, 04:04:48 PM
They have similarities yet they have different characteristics. Fiat is controlled by the government while Bitcoin is decentralized. Fiat is stable while Bitcoin is volatile. Bitcoin transactions are easier than fiat because we're the ones who are in control of it. However, in some instances, we could survive having fiat without Bitcoin but we can't live with just Bitcoin alone because lots of stablishments still aren't accepting it.
3109  Economy / Economics / Re: How they get rich - Changpeng Zhao on: February 02, 2021, 02:55:16 PM
Through that, we can't say that poor people remain poor because there are lots of successful people who have been through a lot of struggles before they reach success. As for me, the secret to a successful and sustainable life is hard work and perseverance. There's no shortcut to success but we should set a certain goal and achieve it just like what CZ did. There might be people who will take you down and discourage you but you should just take them as an inspiration to do better.
3110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone who holds 100 doge will become a millionaire in the future but why? on: January 31, 2021, 08:20:30 PM
Doge is pumping right now yet we're not sure if it could pump continuously because we're all familiar with the possible changes in the market. It's too impossible that such things like that could happen. Dogecoin still has a lot to surpass and achieve and it's still in the process of gaining the trust of investors.
3111  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich have too much on: January 31, 2021, 03:17:43 PM
Poor people shouldn't rely on rich people because honestly, rich people have worked and sacrifice a lot to achieve what they have. If a poor person remains poor until the end that simply means he didn't do anything to change his life. There's no shortcut to being rich but it takes perseverance and hardwork so anyone who works hard could possibly get rich in the future.

3113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com announces Israel Adesanya as their Global branded ambassador on: January 31, 2021, 09:12:57 AM
It will surely be an advantage for Stake since Adesanya has a good reputation in the industry. It's a good idea that they got him as an ambassador because he's one of the most influential people in the UFC world and it will attract more gamblers since most players these days look for the site's reputation and good record. I hope that Stake would get more ambassadors to promote their site in the future.
3114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for Trading on: January 31, 2021, 04:47:01 AM
One of the toxic trait that I had when I was beginning trading was being greedy. I used to set a target goal but once I reached it and gain a good profit, I still aim for more which cost me a lot of losses. I have learned from it and realized that a profit is still a profit. Our greediness could result in bigger losses so we better be contented most of the time.
3115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why Dogecoin Goes High? on: January 31, 2021, 04:16:08 AM
Elon musk is too influential that all the coins that he mentions would be on the trend and it will definitely pump. I have read lots of happenings about doge on Reddit and Twitter and I have found out to huge investors are playing with its price. Things are going exciting for Doge which was just made to be a meme coin.
3116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: January 31, 2021, 02:16:12 AM
Everyone in crypto feels the same every time the price drops. As time goes by you will get used to it. I try to keep my composure as much as possible since it will affect my decision making. It is either I cut my losses, HODL, or buy during the dip to average the cost of my investment that is how I handle the dip.
3117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 1000 usd , where to invest , on: January 30, 2021, 06:38:47 PM
As a beginner, it's always advised to invest in top coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum because there's always an assurance of gaining a good profit especially when you know when to buy and when to sell. You should know the possible movements of the market first before trying to invest with other altcoins.
3118  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Nababahala ba kayo sa Ripple? on: January 30, 2021, 04:44:12 PM
<snip>
Yep. May talo pang kaunti.
3119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been to a place where people gamble on Car Race on: January 30, 2021, 03:36:08 PM
I have witnessed almost the same thing before and it was known as drag racing here in our country. It's actually an underground and illegal car or motorcycle racing because it could cause harm to the racers physically. To hide this event, they're not using any plate number and they aren't even wearing safety gears.
On the other hand, despite all the risks, lots of people still bet on it because it's fun and exciting. Some gamblers also prefer the thrill and excitement that it could give them, unlike legal gambling.
3120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What has been your longest streak of dice losses using martingale ..? on: January 30, 2021, 02:36:08 PM
I’m just trying to collect some data, also I guess this post will be useful for the rest of the forum users.

In my case, in 2018 I loss 32 times one after another using the dice system on freebitco.in.

Greetings
I "only" ever had around 16 streak loses, and it was wiped out all of my balance too since i thought i wouldn't facemore than 16 streak losses just in few bets after i started gambling, but it happened.

32streak losses? How big your bankroll back then to able survive more than 30 streak losses? Even if you only started with 1 sat, it will required so huge bankroll to do that

Not that big, I made a deposit near to 5 BTC months before, lucky or no I managed to get around 10BTC.

For the ones who asked, yes, thank God I did won. After that day I NEVER played anymore.

Worse feeling I ever had it was think that I can lose all my BTC but if I decided to don’t bet higher I was accepting to loss around 75% of my whole bag.

Things escalated really fast. Scary, truly scary.

The main reason is to know the biggest streak, things has change since 2018, there is more casino who accept cryptocurrencies like XLM, RVN, DGB, so I gues your bankroll is “bigger” since the value of the coin is not that big.

That was a smart strategy. It's actually isn't about being a coward or not having the willingness to take the risks but it's about assuring your profit. Sometimes, we should really know when to stop, and to be honest, 10 BTC isn't a joke anymore. It's a good idea that you didn't risk your 10BTC to bet again because you'll surely have a big regret if you'll lose it again.
