3161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Paquiao VS Connor McGreggor? on: January 17, 2021, 05:24:31 AM
Imo, McGreggor just wants to make more money, like he did with his fight against Floyd Mayweather, there was no way he was going to win Floyd, at least not in a boxing ring, if it were in the octagon, then Floyd would stand no chance, but McGreggor is of course content with losing in a boxing ring and making the money he made.

Having said that, I think that's the same situation with this possible fight with Manny, it's about the money for McGreggor, I don't think he stands a chance against Manny Pacquiao in a boxing ring.
Since McGreggor fights a boxer, I’m 100% sure that it's about money and he’s willing to sacrifice himself and his reputation for a while just to earn money, which is his job since then. The result will still the same, and Manny will be praised because of this match, there’s no way for Mcgregor to win this match.

Since the pandemic, this kind of match had been happening a lot. This kind of bout is surely for entertainment and money only. This is not a fight to show who is stronger or better since McGregor can be considered an amateur in boxing since this is not his forte. It could be worthy to watch, but there is not much to expect from it. I admire both fighters since they excel in their own fields, I wonder what would be the odds if this match happens.
3162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Do You Take Profit From Your Altcoin Bags? on: January 16, 2021, 02:17:00 PM
I always look for the potential of the coin that I'm holding and learn about its possible movements. I always make sure to buy when the price is low and set a target goal. Once I reach my target price after holding, I usually sell my alts because sometimes being too greedy or expecting more could lead to regrets in the future.
3164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why XRP Crash? on: January 15, 2021, 04:48:00 PM
I understand that you missed all the news related to XRP in recent days, so the SEC will be suing XRP and therefore the XRP price is constantly falling and now it is impossible to predict what will happen to the XRP price and in general what will happen to XRP now, so invest in XRP very risky now.
Yes, for now XRP has become a bad choice for investment, so for people who are not aware of the XRP token case, it is better to stay away from the XRP token for a while, because this is for the sake of better consideration.

It's now hard to take the risk of investing with XRP because of the lawsuit filed against it. We don't know if they could still fix this issue but so far, the price is still in a good shape. For now, it's better to invest with other potential altcoins because XRP couldn't assure consistency in the future because of its current case.
3165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The 27th World Handball Championship 2021! on: January 15, 2021, 03:45:23 PM
Yes, this competition should have been postponed! Look at the mess that is happening: Egypt has already a lot of troubles going on in the country and I think the least they can do now is to make sure that an handball competition will be covid risk-free.
Or treat the game as training and let the guys have fun.
Would you do that as a professional player? I personally would not go there and risk my life (and career) to have some fun.  Wink

Professional players are well-dedicated and they're willing to take the risk just to raise their flags and represent their countries.
It's just so sad that some players couldn't make it because of being infected by the virus but so far, most teams are doing great and they're all well-motivated. It has been a close match for France and Norway but I guess it wouldn't be a year for France again.
3166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Broner vs Campa Feb 13 on: January 15, 2021, 02:55:11 PM
I don't like loud-mouth boxers  Smiley, so if the odds on betting for Campa is attractive then i will go for it, same as you mate.

Is this a title fight?
This would be hard for Campa but i do see the chances for him to beat up Broner. Same as yours, i dont like those boxers who do talk shit before the fight.

Let their boxing would do the talk.  Wink

Broner has been really a trash talker and despite being defeated by Pacquiao, he still claims that he defeated Manny. It's supposed to be Camba's chance to prove himself more in the ring but since he backed out because of covid reasons, I guess they would find a good match for Broner this time.
3167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins bad publicity? on: January 14, 2021, 06:55:22 PM
Banks and the government will always release negative statements about Bitcoin and it has been happening for years because they always see it as a threat. However, Bitcoin has been proving that these negative impressions are wrong and it's even attracting more investors. After all, publicity is still publicity and no matter how they ruin the name of Bitcoin, it even becoming more popular because of its huge potential.
3168  Economy / Speculation / Re: You saw the BTC price WOULD YOU BUY!?............ on: January 14, 2021, 03:40:41 PM
It isn't the best time to buy because the price is too high and you might have losses if the price drops down. You better wait for the dip so you'll surely gain a good profit when the price rises again. Just apply the basic rule which is to buy low and sell high. It's the best time to hold for now.
3169  Economy / Economics / Re: The sale of the COVID-19 vaccine on the dark web continues. on: January 14, 2021, 02:25:33 PM

What are the scammers hoping for? Who will purchase such a product when vaccinations are given to everyone for free?
Is it possible that impatience of people and haste can lead to a thoughtless purchase of a vaccine from someone who is not clear? What's going on in people's heads? And also where did the scammers get the vaccines? They offer wholesale purchases. Can anyone trust anyone now? Angry

Some people are really scared of the virus and we can't blame them because it has taken lots of lives already and they see the vaccine as the last resort to survive. However, buying it on the black market is just another disaster. Sometimes being impatient could kill us or could result in regrets in the future. It's better to wait for the vaccine because our governments are doing something already. We'll not only get scammed if we'll buy the vaccine in the black market but it could also put our lives at risk.
3170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to take BITCOIN profit without selling? on: January 13, 2021, 04:49:09 PM
If you want to earn a good profit without selling then just take the risk and hold until the price pump. Applying at least the basic rule which is to buy low and hold for a long term would help you gain profit without trading but you still have to learn how other earning opportunities here in the crypto world works just like trading.
3171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So is it appropriate for us to BUY XRP now? on: January 13, 2021, 03:21:47 PM
Do you see the MOVMENT of today's XRP? So is it appropriate for us to BUY XRP now?

I have sold 50% of my XRP for I have gained enough profit already and I'm planning to hold the other 50% despite its SEC issue. If they would be able to fix it, I would buy and hold more in the future. It's just so hard to take a big risk especially if a coin is manipulated. I just hope that they could fix their issue because XRP still has good potential.
3172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much did you make in Bitcoin trading? on: January 13, 2021, 02:09:07 PM
i dare not to trade, holding woks better for me, let just say am too afraid to loss my little amount so i do not engage in trading, between i get into btc when the price was a bit high so now i will hold my btc as firm as i could till when i feel it is appropriate for me to sell, 95% of my assets are on alts and was kinda hoping the 2017 scenario would happen again otherwise would have dumped all my alts sooner for btc.

I'm also more into holding because I'm not that good at technical analysis and I'm still trying to learn more about it. So far I have earned almost 50% from my total holdings since last year and that's more than enough for me. I'm just waiting for the dump so I could accumulate again and hold it until another bull run comes.
3173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2020... Altseason? on: January 13, 2021, 05:24:50 AM
I think history wouldn't repeat itself this time. The price of Bitcoin has pumped more than what we expect so I guess it will still take a long run before the alt season but that could still possibly happen this year. I also believe that alt season would only be best for top coins so buying at this time would be a good decision.
3174  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wait for the dump on: January 12, 2021, 06:30:24 PM
Bitcoin is dumping!! Is this going to a repeat of 2017? Remember what happened in March when covid hit? The second wave is here and btc has been pumping despite that. What do you guys think? $100k still happening this year?

There will surely be a correction and dump in the future but the ath this year is quite different from the ath last 2017. It has been unexpected and the price is quite unpredictable these days. For now, the price of Bitcoin is still in a good status, and every time it drops down, it rises again so I don't think it would drop its price too soon especially now that more people are recognizing and buying it regardless of its current price.
3175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: January 12, 2021, 04:57:38 PM
I'm sure everybody has checked and saw the big drop -18.8% in 24 hours to be exact and keeps going down, we don't know if it will go further and so are the other top coins in the market, are you in panic, nervous that the market is bleeding like this, or do you accept this as part of the market movement, what kind of trader are you

I'm a holder and I don't panic when the market turns red because I bought my holdings early last year so I still gained a good profit. Changes in normal in the crypto world since cryptocurrencies are volatile so we have to be ready because the prices might drop-down or rise anytime and we can't predict it. If you're a kind of holder or trader that panics every time the market turns red, then it isn't healthy for you. Just trust the market flow and take advantage of it.
3176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be too happy on: January 12, 2021, 02:34:13 PM
Do not be too happy that big and giant companies are entering the field…
Because they set the price up and down whenever they want…
You should be happy when ordinary people invest more than big companies.
In simpler terms, it is much better if bitcoin or anything else that exists is distributed all over the world and reaches individuals and companies equally, or, as the saying goes, does not accumulate together.
Wherever governments or large corporations stand, they are sure to determine everything.
Successful and healthy  Wink
Even if companies and institutions buy bitcoin and set the price, that doesn't stop individual from having access to bitcoin in any way because any one can buy bitcoin at any price all it takes is to buy the value you can afford that is why bitcoin comes in bits.

There might be a problem with the supply in the future where it would be hard for an ordinary individual to accumulate Bitcoin. However, as smart holders, no matter how big companies would manipulate the market, we should still take advantage of every market situation. We can't control huge companies in buying Bitcoin and we can't stop them from selling either so we have to do something to make profit no matter what the market situation is.
3177  Local / Pamilihan / Re: What If on: January 11, 2021, 04:38:20 PM
3178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crpto investment in 2021 on: January 11, 2021, 03:49:08 PM
Surely this is a good time to invest in some altcoins and rest assured all will definitely get satisfactory results, but to choose altcoins we must be absolutely sure that the coin can grow at a time when the price of bitcoin is soaring, to be more secure we must choose some of the top coins in the marketcap.

The altcoin season could approach anytime soon so you better not waste your time but to buy while the prices are still low but I would suggest you choose the top coins. There are good coins that are worth investing with such as Ethereum and Litecoin. Choose coins with a strong foundation by searching for their background and history.
3179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever proven fairness of games? on: January 10, 2021, 04:52:27 PM
I believe most gamblers here don't. I sometimes rely on gambling sites reputation which is less likely to be unfair for their gamblers. I even don't know how to verify hashes provided by each bet since this requires a lot of technical works which I am not familiar with. I usually play on platforms that are reputable such as Roobet, Duelbits, Primedice, Fortunejack, and a lot more.
3180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How the Alt season will pan out on: January 10, 2021, 03:36:27 PM
I think it will go a different way this time because Bitcoin isn't showing the same pattern. It might take a long run before the Bitcoin price's correction because the price is too unpredictable and it might reach higher in the coming days. As for me, altcoin season could happen anytime although Bitcoin season is still running.
