Maging mapagmatyag at wais tayo at huwag basta bastang magtiwala.

3384  Economy / Gambling / Re: **luckygames.io is closing soon - withdraw your funds now** on: November 01, 2020, 06:02:11 PM
This thread was created in June, 2020 but still now https://luckygames.io/ is still operating and running ?

So is it not safe to deposit funds at luckygames and play ?

It's not running, yes it's still open for users who have some funds remained in their balance in the site.
As mentioned by the site owner in the OP image, that the site will be stopped fully, but they will still open it in case any user has forgotten to withdraw his remaining balance.
Moreover you can easily conclude that the site is closed, as if you hover on to the all bets section in the section in the site then there are any bets shown. Moreover the chatbox Is too missing, neither we can do deposits as well.
Hope this helps you man.
'

Isn't it strange that even after five month of announcement, some people might have funds staying at the site and they don't bother to withdraw.
Its time that they should close the site as five months are enough for anyone to withdraw their balances.
I also hope that deposit option on the site is also disabled so that anyone may not deposit accidentally.

It's really a good thing that this site is being too considerate with their users. I guess those people who haven't withdrawn their funds yet aren't aware of the current status of the site. I'm grateful that I was able to withdraw my few funds two weeks after their announcement.
I agree that they should disable the deposit option because there are still users who have no idea about the closure of their site.
3385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: November 01, 2020, 01:16:21 PM
Safe bets does not excess in sports betting, every bet you'll make regardless of the odds are always risky. Man, I'm done with that experiment and I tell you it does not work on my end, what strategy I'm using now which is I am comfortable is betting on odds 1.90 and above.

I certainly agree with you. I've done the same kind of experiment as well and I could say that there's really no guarantee of winning. I worked once but I lost more than my winnings. I think it's another way to trick us. After all, gambling is still gambling and I could say that there's no such thing as safe betting.

3391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do think about skill games? on: October 25, 2020, 05:26:16 PM
Most skill games are card games including poker. I think even skill games depend on luck. It still depends on our technique because after all, gambling is still gambling and there's still no guarantee of winning.  Despite relying on your skills, it still isn't enough to have an assurance that you'll still earn and win.
3392  Economy / Economics / Re: PayPal to allow cryptocurrency buying, selling and shopping on its network on: October 25, 2020, 03:47:27 PM
The only problem that I encounter with Paypal is that it holds my funds for days just like what happens to my co-workers. However, it's a good thing that Bitcoin is being adopted by a well-known platform which also proves more of its legitimacy. It only proves that Bitcoin could still be adopted no matter what the market situation is.
3393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: October 25, 2020, 02:42:45 PM
The first thing that we have to consider before entering the gambling world is how we could handle our emotions. We should know when to stop and when to continue. As for me, your friend needs to seek professional help already, or else he will lose everything that he has if he'll continue doing his routine. He needs to fix his lifestyle as early as possible before he regrets things.
3394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: October 24, 2020, 07:35:52 PM
A lot of people have been burned by founders running away with with ICO money. It tarnishes the reputation of cryptocurrencies and I believe we should help educate new investors as soon as possible.

Can anyone share a checklist of the things they look for to determine if a coin is worth investing in?

And what are the red flags that you often see people fall for?

I usually make sure that the team behind a certain project or coin is reputable and active. I always make sure that they're trustworthy because they will be the one to handle the developments of an altcoin. It's an advantage if we'll check their background and their history in handling projects. Checking their whitepaper I think wouldn't be enough because some fake and scam projects these days could fake it.
3395  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Situation :( on: October 24, 2020, 06:48:54 PM
The world isn't getting any better and we can't control it but that doesn't mean that we forget about God. We're just in the middle of this crisis and a lot more but we still have to look at the brighter side of life. I'm sure that things will still get better soon and we only have to hope for the best. Focusing on the world's problem might only lead you to depression and distress. Try to focus on the good things that are happening around and appreciate each day that you survive. Life is still a blessing during this pandemic.
3396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling could be used to pay for covid problems on: October 24, 2020, 06:19:35 PM
We're still in the midst of the pandemic crisis so I believe that the government will always find ways or alternatives on how to fund the needs of each country and it's one of the best choice that they have. Lots of online activities and businesses these days are being taxed. I'm sure that if it happens in most countries, it will still bring a negative impact for gamblers. We might lose the privacy that we want in online gambling especially when they regulate it.
3397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people giving up on Bitcoin too quickly? on: October 24, 2020, 07:05:20 AM
I have been reading many posts that show signs to be that people are giving up on Bitcoin's technical development to become an actual currency, and also shows signs to be ready to sell after the next surge to ATH.

I believe it's too soon. Bitcoin's benefit for improvement outweighs the cost in my opinion.

HODL!

People who give up easily on Bitcoin are those who don't have enough knowledge about their value and importance. However, there are also some instances where an investor could easily quit due to their personal reasons. Those who still hodl are lucky especially when the market situation gets better.
3398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is doing it on: October 24, 2020, 03:17:15 AM
I have never thought that Bitcoin and other altcoins could move to the next level like this. It's good news and I'm sure that those who are doubting it will now change their mind about the real function of cryptocurrency. There will surely be more platforms that would accept cryptocurrency when this works well. It's also an advantage because more people would get more interested in cryptocurrency and it will affect the market positively.
3399  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has crypto failed to break through still? on: October 23, 2020, 06:19:43 PM
If you're trying to say that crypto should defeat or replace fiat, I think that will be too hard to happen. Fiat will always be fiat and it will always be functional despite the existence of digital money. Crypto is actually breaking through and we only have to trust the process.
3400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why criminals still use Bitcoin? on: October 23, 2020, 04:41:43 PM
Criminals use bitcoin and other altcoins because of its anonymity which is needed to pursue their illegal activities. It's the safest way for them to transact freely. Bitcoin is also accessible and convenient so it will be easy for them to use it than fiat. However, criminals will always find ways to pursue their crimes so we can't blame crypto for it.
