3341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 18, 2020, 04:31:30 PM
That's a very huge amount of money. I'm sure that that person has been doing gambling for such a long time that he's able to bet a very huge amount of money. There will surely be regrets if he lost but I guess he will still be able to handle it well. It will only take a few days for him to know the result. He'll be lucky if Trump would get a chance to win his candidacy again.
3342  Economy / Gambling / Re: SCAM TrustDice.win on: November 18, 2020, 03:26:58 PM
I'm sorry to hear about that, Op. I could feel the disappointment and frustration on your end. It's just a good thing that you haven't deposited anything yet.
Did you try to contact their support? What was their response? If you're doubting about TrustDice then just try to look for better and trusted gambling sites. I have never encountered such a problem so far and I hope that yours would be solved too because it really smells fishy.
3343  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to buy bitcoin, i am new in cryptp..many doubts on: November 17, 2020, 09:40:21 PM
You better check or ask your bank if they're accepting cryptocurrency because some banks accept crypto particularly Bitcoin but some don't. If you still have lots of doubts about Bitcoin then you better do more series of research for you to know more about it. If you'll invest with Bitcoin, you better be willing to take all the risks because doubting it might only lead you to losses in the future because you could make wrong decisions because of your fear.
3344  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I trust cryptocurrencies? on: November 17, 2020, 06:03:24 PM
Just simply trust your instinct and be willing to take all the risks. If you want to gain a good profit in the future then don't doubt it. As long as you're investing with potential coins like Bitcoin then you have to put your faith in it. Any investment has risks and things will depend on how you're going to deal with it. If you're still not comfortable with cryptocurrency then take the opportunity to learn more about it so you'll understand its value and importance as a currency.
3345  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Gang uses crypto for illegal purposes on: November 17, 2020, 05:17:55 PM
It will be hard for any country to stop gambling activities no matter how hard they try to prohibit it. The existence of digital currency made gambling transactions easier which made it harder for authorities to stop illegal activities. Gambling will always be everywhere and it doesn't matter if it's a digital currency or paper money that they will use. It's common in most countries. It's just that things became easier for gamblers around the world because of the presence of cryptocurrencies.
3346  Economy / Gambling / Re: Be Aware Phishing Roobet.com on: November 17, 2020, 05:06:55 AM
I have been using Roobet for such a long time but I didn't notice that there are also phishing sites on the internet. Thanks for sharing about it, Op. Sometimes I'm being too confident when opening the sites that I'm using. I'm just googling it when I forgot the domain. I think we really have to be mindful of anything that we open or click on the internet.

3348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL ₿itcoin for Life, not for Lifetime. on: November 16, 2020, 07:12:29 PM
It depends on the status and value of your investment in your life. If you'll be needing your profit in just a short period of time, then just set a certain goal. If it's your lifetime investment then hodl it for a lifetime and reap what you sow in the future. It's a case to case basis and you could only decide for yourself because your decision will rely on your status.
3349  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Panahon Na Nga Ba Maging "Cashless Society" ang Pilipinas? on: November 16, 2020, 06:42:47 PM
3350  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Low, Sell High on: November 16, 2020, 05:01:54 PM
People usually buy when it's too late because they want to be sure that they will gain a good profit not knowing that it won't apply the basic rule of investing in crypto. They want to earn more yet they aren't willing to take all the risks. Sometimes, our greediness also takes us out of the right path which could only lead to losses. Investing isn't about handling our funds but it's also about handling our emotions as well.
3351  Other / Archival / Re: Pay for Your Passport with Bitcoin on: November 15, 2020, 08:03:04 PM
In our country, we're able to use Bitcoin to pay lots of things like our bills and tuition fees. We're even using it for online shopping. It's good to know other countries are now accepting passport payments through Bitcoin. I just wish that I could renew mine through it soon. Bitcoin is really making things more convenient for us. I'm sure that there will be more adoptions in the future.
3352  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: CAGAYAN NEEDS HELP‼️‼️‼️‼️ on: November 15, 2020, 07:05:24 PM
Thanks sa paginitiate, Op. Sa panahon talaga ngayon, kailangan ng bawat isang gampanan ang part nila para makatulong. I have relatives from Cagayan at talagang grabe ang damage ng lugar nila ngayon.
3353  Other / Off-topic / Re: Electricity, Internet and Mobile Network on: November 15, 2020, 01:01:52 PM
I think we're living in the same country and I honestly experienced the same hardship because of the typhoon as well. Maybe, it's easy for others to say that we should be prepared for calamities and we should have our back up but during electricity outrage, we usually prioritize lighting. Ulysses was a strong typhoon and it still has a huge impact in most parts of the country. No matter how important electricity, the internet, and mobile network are, during typhoons here, our main goal is to survive.
3354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: this is the time for Ethereum on: November 12, 2020, 02:15:28 PM
I am one of those who are rooting for Ethereum. I'm starting to admire its capability again. It's stable and trusted before and it's now booming on its own which is giving most of us the confidence that it could go more in the coming days. Its foundation is already firm so I'm sure that there will still be an unexpected increase in the future.
3355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum (ETH) or Bitcoin Cash (BCH) which has the brighter future? on: November 12, 2020, 09:25:08 AM
I would go for Ethereum. I trust it more than BCH because it has proven us a lot and it has passed lots of tests of time that made its foundation stronger. It has shown a great improvement for years and I could see that it will still continue to develop and prove to us its worth as a coin. Though BCH have gone too far as well, I believe that Ethereum has more potential to grow in the future.
3356  Economy / Economics / Re: After elections end this year for all countries, we are all screwed on: November 12, 2020, 07:37:04 AM
The election is necessary for each country but it doesn't mean that our situation would get worse. Why don't we look at the brighter side of life instead of doubting our government? The government can't end the problems that we're going through but let's give them a chance to lead us and decide what's best for us.
3357  Economy / Economics / Re: Need of the hour : Use the Crisis on: November 12, 2020, 06:57:52 AM
Searching for the opportunity and looking for ways to earn is the best way that we can do to survive this crisis. We can't rely on the government alone. Our country is now in the midst of chaos not just because of the pandemic crisis but because of the natural disasters. Lots of families have lost their home but I believe that we could still recover and find ways to sustain our lives again. I hope that things will still get better in the future and people who have lost everything could still find jobs and opportunities again.
3358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recent situation of Cryptocurrency... on: November 12, 2020, 06:37:40 AM
Most altcoins depend on the price of Bitcoin. However, we shouldn't focus on projects that can't boom alone. You indeed have to do your own research before investing in a certain coin. If I were you, I would prefer to invest with top coins where I would have an assurance of its strong foundation.
3359  Economy / Economics / Re: The pandemic did push the world towards a more digital age. on: November 12, 2020, 12:37:11 AM
This pandemic has been an eye-opener to most people that a cashless society is possible and necessary during times of crisis. I have noticed that cashless transactions are more convenient and safer for us to use. We're able to purchase our necessities online which is an advantage. Even education and businesses are switching to the digital age as well. I'm sure that there will still be more improvements in the future and we'll continuously see the importance of a cashless society.
