Yeah, no more controller cards because Sam sold them all to his brother. This explains their shifty behavior. It didn't make sense that they were willing to let their customers go to their competitors but now it does. They are moving into cloud-hashing with Sam's brother and just like CEX.io. I think O'rama mentioned something about submersion cooling in his interview at CES that now makes more sense. My prediction is Neptune will be their last consumer device and they are only offering it to pay for the development cost of 20nm. Once they have the masks, they will no longer sell to consumers and likely only sell to Byteminer. Orama did mention that it's all coming down to low cost power and he mentioned Iceland, which is where Cloud Hashing are based. My guess is knc, byteminer and cloud hashing are partnering up. You heard it here first! This is a very good clue my guess is correct: https://www.facebook.com/cloudhashing/posts/401192233348915So it's probably going to be knc, not hashfast or cointerra, that make our jupiters worthless in a week or two. Oh the irony! Wow, how are they significantly increasing their hash rate at the end of January? HashLast has stated Jan 28th for their revised^10 timeline, or did they manage to get the remaining controller boards? I've got several of the antminers, they're actually quite nice. I'm running 2 per 860W Seasonic (That I bought for Nov jupiters) Running strong and running quiet Antminer performance is terrible in comparison though, I've been selling all my antminers to by second hand October batch machines, which seems to be the right choice with only upgrade boards coming ahead. 1 x jupeter OC = 640GH for 750w (quiet, cool and neat) 3 x Ants OC = 600GH for 1500w+ (noise, hot and messy)

Bitmain i would appreciate my 33btc refund for USB sticks before you continuing taking peoples money.
order was canceled a week ago and returned
edit: sushi says he even asked you a few hours ago.
why is this taking so long? some communication would be nice
edit: I understand i tried to import 500 USB without a VAT number, one was never requested from you guys. It took a week to get the tracking number from you only to find out it had been held for 1 week. I have asked for the order to be canceled, returned and refunded as i cannot produce a VAT number.
1 week later the packet is still in "preclearance and has not moved" I am still waiting for the refund with no communication, just like with the tracking number.
the only communication i get is from Sushi when i contact him. Today i ask for my refund once again. No info from sushi. I tell him that i will go to bitmain directly and post publicaly regarding the matter.
I then pretty much get told that i better just shut up and be quiet and wait for my refund or i won't get it or i will just get 21btc(current USB value) instead of 33btc which was paid last Saturday.
yes this is the threat i got given this morning.

ALL refund should be processed now, if i have missed you let me know.
Now just got to wait for a refund from bitmain...

I'll be finding or applying for a Vat number first, so maybe in the coming months.

The buy failed as I have no commercial VAT number.
At pre clearance out of china the package would not get accepted by NL customs due to it being a commercial order.
The package was actually dispatched on time i was wrong about this when i first checked the tracking. it just took 6 days to get the tracking number and find out the package had been held due to the above reason.

if anyone needs help OC'ing october batch using new firmware send me a PM and i will get around to helping you tonight using team viewer.
use putty and login to your miners IP.
Login = root password = miner password
type "screen -r" then hit "q" then type vi /etc/init.d/cgminer.sh , this will allow you to edit and delete.
delete every line ("d" deletes line, "dd130" should delete every line(give it 20seconds.
then paste the bellow script provided by Ncs0ne, thanks dude! bellow code is set for 211, i run my Saturn 4vrm on 231
hit esc then type ":"(exits editing mode) type "wq" then hit enter
then type "/etc/init.d/cgminer.sh restart"
screen -r to reload.
For clarification to others, I had to type " escape, wq and also the colon [:] for it to work. I'm so used to using colons to start a series that I didn't realize you meant to type this in as well. I only had to press right click for it to paste over his scrypt. Could you please explain what you modified to this over the original version? I would open it up in a power-txt editor and run doc-diff to see for myself but I'm just not up for doing all that now since i've already updated to yours. I didn't edit anything, i got it from another member. I think he over wrote his config so the spi changes are permanent t, that meant the changes were still there when he uploaded new firmware. bellow is what was missing in the new firmware. # Re-enable PLL i2cset -y 2 0x71 1 $((p+1)) for c in 0 1 2 3 ; do cmd=$(printf "0x84,0x%02X,0,0" $c) spi-test -s 50000 -OHC -D /dev/spidev1.0 $cmd >/dev/null cmd=$(printf "0x86,0x%02X,0x02,0x11" $c) spi-test -s 50000 -OHC -D /dev/spidev1.0 $cmd >/dev/null cmd=$(printf "0x85,0x%02X,0,0" $c) spi-test -s 50000 -OHC -D /dev/spidev1.0 $cmd >/dev/null done

Hi,
I am using Oct Jupiter with 0.99.1-tune firmware. After I pressed "Reset factory settings" on Advanced tab, I can no longer access Advanced tab at all. Instead I have browser message with "Fetch advanced configuration/status failed." and "OK" button. Restarting, flashing to earlier firmware and flashing back to 0.99.1-tune does not resolved the issue. Jupiter itself is mining away nicely, but I can't access Advanced tab anymore. Any one had similar problem?
Ctrl+F5? Of course I tried it, doesn't work. new firmware gives an ption to lock access to a certain IP addy, is it possible you looked it?
