Mr Elastic Band,
we promise the refund, and we will do it. your public comments does not speed up the refund process.

bitmain.....................

it is now Tuesday, have you contacted UPS?

I have left you a negative trust rating as  you are failing to deal with this, you are not communicating and you have tried to silence me from posting publicly with threats.

With respect to casing design, that only takes approx. 3 days, the inclusion of space for PSUs has been passed on and acknowledged, and is being considered. Such design does obviously affect shipping costs that are dictated by dimensional sizing and weight, but you will need to source PSUs your side. This is not an oversight on our part, but the regulations for importing products with power supplies varies significantly country to country to the extent by which entry of electronic goods that have not met the prior approval of specific countries. If you have been on this forum long enough you would be well aware of the complications and denial that some have experienced, as such we will not provide an internal PSU so as not to limit access to those customers. Keep it simple and ensure everyone has a fair chance of receiving their items. Power supplies are easily available internally anyway. It worked well for Jupiter so we're sticking to that.

Why would anybody want to take the customs risk of receiving the unit with a PSU, just madness.

I would prefer to order at my local store in advance where they will deliver or i can collect for free and not have the added weight of 2 x 1250w PSU added to the neptune shipping weight/cost.

KnC 100% make the right choice not including PSU
1925  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: January 20, 2014, 09:29:12 AM
every machine requires different tweaking, other peoples results give a base line of where to start trying though.

8vrm for me = 3.3spi 1755428mhz. ranges from 0.07 - 0.1 volts each Die. ranges above 50a and 40w

Currently getting 640GH/s 650w (without cntrl board) and 0.91% HW .

4vrm is completely different.

Bitmain Tech has not yet received the package we sent to you that is over $26,000 USD in value.  We will assess the situation after we receive the package in original resale-able condition.

According to the UPS, they attempted to communicate with you regarding the disposition of your attempted import for the commercial purposes, but you were not able to provide your Country's Customs the required materials by law and you did not provide UPS an option to return it to the sender.

The package is still exportable at this point with your instructions to the UPS and we don't have full control over the item.

Bitmain is in contact with the UPS to expedite the return, Please indicate to UPS that you are abandoning the package and with the the package to be return to the sender.

Any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Bitmain i have just spoken with a UPS representative about the order and told them to cancel it and return to sender.

The woman said okay but that is not my responsibility and i cannot have the order returned as it has never been delivered to me. Only the sender can cancel the order as the order has never reached the receiver.

please contact UPS and finally sort this out...... again delays caused by miss/ lack of communication.

edit: She said have the sender contact UPS and the item would be returned to them no problem. Why are you telling me different?

edit @ 9.33am : a simple reply would have been nice considering you were online - Today at 09:15:14 AM

Hello Bitmain,

At no point over the week the itme was held in china did UPS try and contact me via email, telephone or by regular letter mail.

At no point when placing the order was i given the oppertunity to offer a VAT number, nor was i asked for it.

It took 5 days to get a tracking number at which point it was discovered the package was held.

I was told by sushi a refund would be issued. communication was none existant apart from when i contacted him.

A little communication on the matter would be nice......

In regards to the terms you have now posted in your sales thread, these were not written at the time i purchased, if they were i would not have purchased. At no point was i told my 33btc may turn into 21btc if a delay occured, again if i was i would not have ordered.

yesterday you said i would get a refund in 6 hours, so what has changed today?

EDIT: I payed the order in Bitcoin, at no point was $$$ value mentioned. You take bitcoin, sushi took payment in bitcoin.

At the point of taking  my details for order i asked sushi several times to send me the google form, in the end i asked if he had my delivery details and he said yes same as before and used them. At no point was an opportunity to give a VAT number given, which resulted in a hold at export, it took 4-5 days to get a tracking number and find out the order was on hold. AT NO POINT HAVE UPS CONTACTED ME OR TRIED TO CONTACT ME.

I just got the tracking number last Friday/Saturday at which point i have never been told to contact UPS, i have been told your side will deal with it.

The only time i get communication on the matter is when i approach your side.

Communication has been the downfall on all parts of this order and has caused all the delays.

Requirements for a Refund

Must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before returning the item.

Every item will be sold as no refund, however, in a situation where Bitmain deemed appropriate, Bitmain will issue the RMA.

Bitmain will refund your method of payment or replace your item after Bitmain receives the original item.

If there’s an error on Bitmain's part related to your order, Bitmain will issue a refund or credit for your order and any applicable shipping charges.

No refund will be issued in a case where the merchandise was delayed, held, seized or confiscated by the customs.

It is the customer's responsibility to have the proper import license, Registered VAT# and pays duty tax where applicable and any other documentations required to complete the commercial import into your country, if you are importing merchandise for resell/redistribution.

Many countries now days offer per-clearance program to the Chinese Exporters before the merchandise leaves China, it is the customer's responsibility to meet necessary requirements to import the merchandise into customer's country.  Items rejected by the respective country's customs due to the customer not having the proper VAT Registration or tax/duty deferment/exemption, legal business registration or exceeded the customer's personal exemptions are not eligible for refund.

If the items were held in China during the per-clearance process, Bitmain may issue the partial refund minus the shipping fee, customs brokerage fee and depreciated value since the time of the purchase but after the items were returned to Bitmain in original resell-able condition.  Bitmain reserves the right to refuse refund in any customs related incidents.

If the bitcoin miner products were to be returned to China, Bitmain will offer an option to have your returned or rejected bitcoin miners hosted in the data center for a fee.

It is the customer's responsibility to pay any fees associated with the return shipping to Bitmain and Import Tax as well as the customs brokerage fees.

my hosted miners just went offline.

one has come back online at 670GH!!!!
second is only at 580 now, it is always lagging though....

edit: now it is dropping and is back under 600GH. wish i took a screenshot of it up at 670GH, i was very confused.
The other dropped as low as 480 though.

maybe they are testing OC on hosted units?

edit: something is happening

Will you take btc?
1939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 18, 2014, 08:25:08 PM

Your numbers are off, so don't exaggerate.

My November Jupes use 875W each and hash at about 675 GH.

My Ants use ~380W each and hash at about 190GH, so the power usage differential is not as bad as you made it out to be.

There is no way 3 Ants use 1500W unless you have a really crappy power supply. They use more like 1200W at the wall.

Ants use about 2W/GH at the wall. November Jupiters use about 1.3W/GH at the wall.

I said october jupiter, it is pulling 750-780w and running 650 -640GH per second.

My unlocked Ant gives 180GH for 380W a friends clocked one gives 205GH for 480w so my numbers are not to far off, just rounded up/down.

edit: NOVEMBER jupiters were always terrible GH/W ratio in my opinion, hence why i said October.

When you got your NOVEMBER i got an upgrade board, which gave me 700GH (5 x 140) for about 760w, better performance than you got.

Edit: I am completely sorry, I did not even say October Jupiter, I did say an OC jupiter though and november can not be OC yet as far as i am aware.

edit: if anyone wanted proof. KnC october 4 board hashing at 639gh/s drawing 670w, including the control board it reads at 750w

1940  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: FS: 2x KnC Jupiter (630GH/s & 610GH/s / November) - USA on: January 18, 2014, 08:20:34 PM
So antminers are 2.2 btc at the moment for 200 gh/s.... than 9 btc for 610 gh/s only for the brandname knc? Kinda over priced i would say.

Anyway i offer 6.2 btc incl shipment to NL for the 610 gh/s.

fancy seeing you around these parts Wink

3 OC ant miners at 600GH/s pull about 1.5kw/hr (loud and three produce a lot of heat)
1 OC october jupiter 640GH/s pull about 750KW/hr (silent, less heat and less space)

For those who pay for electricity KnC is the much better deal Wink In terms of hashing life against electricity costs anyway.
