It would be really slick to have Elliot using DASH, it would be a huge boon in terms of marketing! I wonder what such a product placement would cost, for a primetime show on a major network? Might be worth the proposal for funding through the DASH payment system

One of my masternodes went for almost 13 days before payment, so variances may occur. I agree, let the masternode do its work, and most likely within a few days, the next payment will come through

One of my masternodes must be paid during last day. Here I can see "Last paid=12h3m54s", but there was no any payments. The "nextpay" counter at dashwhale started to count from start. What happened? I didn't see the payment that you mentioned on dashninja, last payment was 2015-11-09 08:27:39 366803 coinmine.pl 2.08929 50.0%/50.0% Xccqh1yAg2HBNrn9ENdPu9RiREiH65ggCk Xccqh1yAg2HBNrn9ENdPu9RiREiH65ggCk Has your masternode been restarted, or has the network been offline for more than an hour?

Wow, and this was possible because of an outstanding community behind DASH. What great news!

Thanks for that info! Cool looking map indeed! Funny how one node is located in the ocean outside of central Africa. Someone hosting a node on a ship?

The door goes both ways though, as if the thread was moderated there would likely be a ton of posts screaming about censorship instead. Although I do find the idea interesting, it would be possible to keep a saner atmosphere in the discussion. In the meantime, the ignore-button is doing wonders
|
|
|
Mass post deletion going on... See, there are moderators around... But why do they allow trolling still??? Adviews ? Although the trolling is kind of annoying and disruptive for the general DASH discussion, the constant troll-posting keeps the thread on top and generates a ton of viewing, and ad-revenue as well.

Hmmm I'm still only seeing a red error about the dashninja api being offline, and the output stops. The dashninja web page works fine for me though.
I goofed, then pushed a fix a minute later. just do ' dashman sync status' (only needed once) and you'll be fine. ('dashman sync status' is the same as running 'dashman sync ; dashman status') running 'sync' pulls down all the commits on github not yet released (as a new version), but it's always safe to run. I keep master in a working state (except when I goof, hehe) Now that's good to know Great all working fine, thanks a lot!

Thanks for the new update moocowmoo! I was wondering why my nodes were not visible online, but now I understand that dashninja api is currently offline.
Yeah, he'd updated to mysql 5.7 and one of his queries conflicted with the default settings. (so I built a quick patch to let you know this next time. defensive coding? whats that?! ) Here's what the status command looks like now (his api is back online) (apparently something changed with chainz api that I've gotta go check out now) Hmmm I'm still only seeing a red error about the dashninja api being offline, and the output stops. The dashninja web page works fine for me though.

Hi fellow DASH enthusiasts! I was checking Dashninja and saw two rows that caught my attention: Last Paid (from dashd) 10/3/2015, 3:03:26 PM (3 days 19 hours 3 minutes 33 seconds ago) Last Paid (from blocks) 9/29/2015, 2:15:42 PM (1 week 19 hours 51 minutes 17 seconds ago) What does the upper row with "paid from dashd" mean? The last payment that my masternode received was the lower row, some 8 days ago, but it is unclear to me what the upper dashd reference is?

Anyone who ever got scammed please speak up!
( more than a year and a half since launch, complete silence )
Too many times with GAW and their paycoin But luckily I had diversified into Dash, something that I am thankful for

Current Number of Masternodes: 3110 (unique IPs: 3110)
Still going up!

Just signed up, looks really slick! Now I can play with my miners again, all that's missing is a whining sound in the background

Hello friends , did you ever think about how complicated it is to handle Cryptos or even to start with it ? I have taught my neighbor how to safely encrypt data, installing a Dash wallet / create a masternode (with holger) and to monitor it. Also to purchase btc, sending btc to an exchange, buy dash with them and sending dash to a local wallet. This took about six hours !!! My neighbor is a normal pc use with nearly no diskspace left on his laptop. I asked him what antivirus software he use and he showed me the red Java Update Icon in his windows tool bar. I think nearly every user in this thread can offer this knowledge as a service in his city. Sorry for my english.
I really think that we need a coinbasellike site for dash, for new comers, for people that don't want to mess up with backup, privkey, walet.dat, download blockchian etc etc... If I remember i saw a message from core team that it was planed to have something like thin, did we have any news? yep, but it must be decentralised, may be running on our masternodes server edit: dashbase, sounds like a btc killer app. This would be the best way to get safe into crypto / dash. You should be able to buy and sell also other cryptos, mobile monitor you wallets, send and receive funds with a timer (to send weekly pocket money to your kids), categorising of the goods you purchased... Or even to host a masternode, choosing a hoster from a dropdown menu. Yes,YES! We want all this And maybe think of having some kind of interest revenue, as maybe it should be possible to run MN with all funds... (Some kind of transparent MN sharing) A DashBase would be a really useful feature, but I'm not sure one could call it a BTC killer, being that it would pretty much copy the existing Coinbase? But I appreciate that in order to spread the Dash idea, many would need to use a web wallet, rather than running a full node client on their home machines. Combined with lightweight mobile clients this would make the level of entry so something a new user could find comfortable. I like the idea of a community shared "masternode pool", where many users chip in more or less amounts of DASH, and the payouts made to the shared masternodes are divided and sent to the participants. Not sure how this would be secured in practice, as the user would need to be able to withdraw their share in the pool when they want to. I think that this could be an attractive service for DASH, as users receive interest on their coins for helping out with the securing of the masternode and DASH networks.

A quick google search lead me to a Dogemining reddit page. See https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bz3e6UVDPWwvSURVcUR6aGtkRlU/edit for building instructions. What you could do, if you don't have aluminum tubing and connectors, go out and buy some smaller wood profiles and screw it together! In the end all what you want is to have the GPUs elevated from the motherboard for better cooling.

Thanks a lot, a new MN is on the way! nice. Available supply 5,787,285 Dash Dash in masternodes - 3,097,000 Dash Available real supply = 2,690,285 Dash Interesting that the liquidity for available DASH is about 46% and that more than 53% is stashed away in networking infrastructure If this continues than it should create an increase in buying pressure for DASH, lifting the prices up. Sounds great numisma, post any questions if you have a problem!
