You can absolutely make money mining alt coins. Instead of throwing lots of money at cloud mining, your best bet is to build a GPU miner for $1000-$2000 (or less). You can mine alt coins and then trade them up for BTC or fiat...or just sit on them and wait for them to increase in price. You can even sell off your hardware down the line and recoup some money. Something you also cant do with cloud mining. This is precisely how I see it. Choose ATI 7950 videocards if you still find them for decent price; reference, Sapphire or MSI Twin Frozr if you can (for the price, hash rate, modable, low power). 7970s or 280x are a bit better but more expensive. 7870s, 270x or 6950 if you can get them for 100€ or less. I have now an additional Asrock 970 Extreme4 motherboard, a 6-core AMD FX 6100 CPU, a XFX Core 850W PSU and some cards. I can say they work. Bump, just in case someone took my advice regarding the Ascrap motherboard. I had to ditch it due to random lockups. Replaced by a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3

Existe também a hipotese do okpay, mas as taxas de conversão de BTC para € são um bocado encolhidas

Gypsies are the descendents of refugees that came from India to Southeast Europe, when Islam did there the usual convert-or-die a few centuries ago.

1) Do you agree with shale gas exploration in general? In my opinion, shale gas exploration leads to irreversible environmental damage. It is not economically viable either. We should rather invest in eco-friendly initiatives such as bio-diesel and cane-ethanol. Agreed on the 1st and 2nd sentence, but biodiesel and ethanol haven't been eco-friendly, because some devastate rain forest to obtain the raw materials for those fuels

The VRMs of that card may be very hot. Are they actively cooled? Check their temperatures with Gpu-Z

I dumped 0.46 BTC into this.
Unless I drive my van from Portugal to KnC pickup location in the other corner of Europe, I'm definitely out of direct Bitcoin mining.

What I want for Christmas is a job that doesn't suck and doesn't screw people (I write data processing software for insurance business).
That bitcoin goes back to $1000+, so that both I pocket more and my Christmas donations to charitable organizations are more substantial

Your tirade about Sharia (and most of Islam) is obviously delusional crap, but you do have a point in denying loans to food speculators and similar financial criminals...

The way I see it, he needs some help to succeed. He needed to go to the ER, his internet connection is failing, etc...
It's better for him and for us to work together instead of starting to panic and throw accusations. We would be scammed and lose our money, he would risk trouble with the law. It's a lose-lose to go full retard here, everybody knows this, so let's think it a little bit better

What the hell is going on???
If the dude owes 31 BTC to someone else, what does it have to do with this thread?
Second, who's insane to grab $35k, buy 31 BTC at current market prices and pay now back the debt?? Obviously he will mine the fucking BTC, IF you give him a chance!!
otoh, of course it can be a scam, but that possibility was always there from the very beginning ...

That said, if you're going to purchase BFL hardware from ebay, or from who has in-hand, I guess the risk is similar to just another ebay purchase or dealing with a stranger. When I said BFL, I mean (pre-)ordering from them directly on their website
